I have been going to Mama Home Day Care since January 2021. I am a mother of four and I worked diligently to find a place where my kids could through academically and socially.
Prior to coming here, I have tried a host of place but ultimately did not like them. Mama Home Daycare did not have any openings initially. Right after Covid, there were two openings, and I came immediately to enroll my kids based on the reviews.
At the time one of my children was two and the other was four months old. Ms. Shah also known as Mama Sha is the most patient and kind person. Additionally, she makes it her mission to get to know each child and meet them where they are. From assisting with potty training, the constant learning following by "fun time", updates on how the children are progressing, I could not ask for a better place for my children to attend daily.
Fast forward, I know only have one child that attends at three years old. My son who has now aged out could recognize and recite all his numbers to 100, the alphabet, the sounds each letter makes, and was reading when he started Pre-K. He still gets out of the car and hugs Mama Sha and her family any chance he gets.
My two (recently turned) three-year-old is thriving as well. He is coloring in the lines, reciting, and recognizing his numbers. He looks forward to attending school and often says he missed daycare on the weekends.
I can never thank Mama Sha enough as she has been excellent during my time here. This is my extended family, and I am dreading the day my last child goes to school because I do not want to leave here. What a beautiful, serene spot to get a great pedicure. The service was excellent - I was a walk-in and was seated immediately. They serve cocktails - I had pineapple-mango juice with vodka. The salon specialist, Kathy, took her time and did a perfect job on my pedicure and foot/leg massage. This is my favorite place and I'll definitely be returning.

The food is outstanding. The portions are very generous. Love that the restaurant decor hasn't changed and is still old italian. I have told everyone I know about this place, and will always, always, always come here whenever I'm in the mood for homemade Italian food.

For the last 3-4 years I’ve got my hair cut exclusively here, by Otis. The owner, operator, decent golfer, and perfectionist. My wedding, birthdays, job interviews, you name it, he has gotten my hair cut right. Building confidence, consistent cuts, and laughs every time. For so many ladies, getting their nails done is a chance to escape for a little bit, relax, and feel pampered. While Otis isn’t going to “pamper” you, his shop is always clean, lively, and for me, one of my favorite places to be. If you’re looking for a barbershop, stop looking at go here. A convenient app allows you to schedule your appointments for your convenience, and you’ll leave feeling fresh every time. If it’s not Otis, it’s several other guys, like Willie Earl or Rich. Today I visited Alani Nail & Spa. I had a lovely experience with great prices. Everyone was friendly, and professional. I arrived a little after 5pm and didn’t have to wait long. I showed my nail technician a photo of the design I wanted. With his attention to detail and care, my nails look fantastic! I was also able to get a pedicure during my visit. My other nail tech was warm and professional. She made me feel comfortable and relaxed. I was in and out in a timely fashion. I am loving my new nails and I can’t wait to go back!

Started going to this place about a month or two ago and absolutely loved the vibe of the place. The girls there do an amazing job. My gel manicure usually last 3 to 4 weeks... Which is amazing!

I recently visited Kosem Beauty Boutique and had a fantastic experience. Johnson, the hair consultant, provided exceptional service during my haircut, wash, and conditioning treatment. From the warm greeting by the receptionist offering coffee or tea upon arrival to the luxurious conclusion of my facial with a choice of red or white wine or champagne, every detail was perfect. The environment was refreshing, clean, and welcoming, making it hard to leave. Nixon did a wonderful job on fixing my hair! I was looking to go more blonde and blend my roots, and at first I made the mistake of letting a friend do my hair. It wound up looking very orange and brassy, so I came to Nixon to fix it.
He really cares about the health of the hair over everything, so he first had me do a protein treatment to protect it since it was so over-processed. It left my hair feeling so silky and smooth.
I came back a week later for the color correction and balayage, and he knew exactly what he was doing! He used the lowest volume developer so it was extra gentle on my hair, and ended the service with another moisturizing protein treatment. The treatments make a huge difference on the health and texture of the hair!
After a few bad experiences with hairdressers, I can say I am very happy with the results of Nixon’s work and he has earned my trust. I will be coming back to him in the future

Wow. What a great service 24/7 just provided. Had a flooded 2nd floor bathroom down to 1st floor due to AC drain clog. Called 24/7 and Michael came in one hour and a half! It took another hour to show where the clog was, explain the options to fix it, how to prevent it from happening again, and finally clear the clog (years of grime and a big chunk of hair ball of course). Costs are reasonable. I even got a call from the house restoration company 24/7 referred for the wall and floor damages while Michael was preparing for the invoice.

This is the ONLY carpet cleaning service I use!!! I accidentally called a Deluxe Carpet Cleaning on Tomatoe St thinking it was this one and they tried to rip me off. Told me one price and when they get here it was double. Don't use the Deluxe on Tomatoe St!!! I believe half of these negative reviews are for them. This Deluxe gets my stains out, they stay out long and the price is very reasonable.

Floors Mecca was amazing. After over a yr looking for contractors and getting bids, We were exhausted. After a referral, we decided for one more quote.They were a one-stop shop for our remodel. Basim, the owner, was great. They did our floors for whole house tile and wood. Knocked down walls. Countertops in the kitchen and bath and remodeled our shower. It's a nightmare trying to find good contractors, let alone ppl who do everything at once, and it's was awesome. I referred him already and will use him again for the exterior. Finding someone who won't rip you off and does a good job is getting rare.... I 1000% recommend, and there is a reason they are booked without any marketing from just word of mouth.
Doing business with Floors for Living was the right choice for us. Austin was always available to answer questions and keep us in the loop about our LVP installation. The process went smoothly and timely. We will definitely use FFL for future flooring needs.
Katy Tile & Marble did a remodel of our master shower. There were a few hiccups at the beginning, however; the shower turned out beautiful. How many people can say that they took their contractor and spouse out to lunch to thank them for an awesome job?? Not many, but we did! Mike, Jorge, and his team did an amazing job! They are good, hard-working, trustworthy people, which is very hard to find these days!
We did a lot of work with Floor TX & Remodeling over many months. We started with replacing the floors in our entire house- upstairs and downstairs. That went very well, so we moved on to my office. We installed new cabinetry (including a pull out for my printer and a custom file cabinet), counter tops, quartz window sills, and new fixtures. Then, we moved on to the master bath & closet. The master bath and closet remodel included moving walls, water supply and drain lines, concrete work, and dryer exhaust relocation in addition to enlarging the shower, relocating the toilet, and installing new electrical outlets & lighting.
During this remodel, we had to open the ceiling and discovered that the contractor we used years earlier for an addition upstairs (not Mike) did not properly construct or support the new addition. The weight of a new bedroom and bathroom was only supported by one wall below. Mike immediately called in his structural engineer so that we could properly reinforce our second story and avoid some dire consequences. This was not Mike’s mess to clean up, but he cared about giving us peace of mind and avoiding any future issues.
We interviewed many contractors, but Mike was the only one who asked the right questions and made the right comments. I could tell that he had a lot of experience and truly knew what he was doing. Mike was certainly the right choice. He’s done a ton of work here in the west Houston area. He’s worked on many commercial & residential jobs. He’s worked on smaller jobs and jobs with extensive budgets but treats all his clients the same. We did a lot of work with Mike, but we were small beans compared to many of his other jobs. He never made us feel less important. Not only did he constantly offer us ideas to give us more of what we wanted like installing the bathtub faucet in the wall to give us more floorspace or using a special shower drain that allows us to easily clean out hair for when we wash our dogs in the shower, but he was VERY patient, and he was always in a relaxed and fun mood. You can tell that Mike truly enjoys what he does. He treats his whole team with honor & respect, and you can tell that they are all happy to work for him.
It’s hard to know exactly what you want when you are knocking down walls and moving things around. Mike never pressured us or made us feel bad when we needed more time to decide or when we changed our minds. He just wanted us to be happy with the end result. This went a long way for me!
Mike did little things to help us visualize what the bathroom would look like. He cut out a piece of cardboard the size of our bathtub so that we could see how much room we’d have. He never talked us into things that would make his life easier. He is very client focused and cares about getting the job done right.
Another thing that I really love about Mike is that he’s not into spending your money. He really respects your budget and doesn’t try to sell you on what will be the most profitable for him. He is for his clients.
To be able to fully trust your contractor is a gift. We are beyond grateful for this positive experience and highly recommend Mike and his team for any home flooring or remodeling project. If we decide to move forward on future jobs, we will be using Floor TX & Remodeling.
I have been using Jacob and his crews for over 15 years for my old home and my current home. I have shopped around, I e tried my own projects and he’s always the most economical and best. Even if I’m not completely satisfied. He gets it taken care of. I will always go to him and recommend him. Have gotten my kitchen island put in, tiles, carpet to floors. Great work!
My husband and I came here after having a disastrous experience with Lowe’s trying to get new carpet in our master bedroom. Chris was extremely helpful in aiding us with their selection of carpets to fit our budget and desires. The process was very easy, and we walked away with a great carpet choice under our budget. Since we choose a thinner carpet, Chris advised we go with a more quality, thick pad underneath and we are very happy with it. It’s soft and maintains its shape after being walked on. It’s very easy to maintain and vacuum. Looks amazing! And the installation worker was very thorough and respectful when installing. Highly recommended them as a local option!
Alex and EZ Floors transformed my new to me home! We replaced tile and carpet with LVP across the whole first floor. There were many options for type and style of flooring. I picked a few that I liked in store, Alex recommended a few additional choices. He came out to the house and measured. Seeing the flooring in the house was a huge help, and changed my choice! Great communication, professional installation crew and followup was top notch. Learn from me and plan on a lot of clean up from tile dust, I wish I had used sheets to cover light fixtures and cabinets. I used a shop vac and microfiber towels to clean everything. Every time I walk on the new floors, I am so glad that we made the change before we moved in. EZ Floors also replaced and painted the baseboards. Highly recommend!

Stillo did a fantastic job on my home. Although the work was delayed a bit due to Hurricane Beryl and all the accompanying rain, but once they finished, it looked great. Hector always kept me in the loop, quickly responding to my calls and texts, and answering all of my questions.
Their quote may have been a little higher than others but I knew their professionalism and the quality of their work was far better than all the other companies that submitted bids. Michael was very friendly when he came over to walk me though the quote and explaining all the work that they would do.
I've recommended them to neighbors and to anyone who asks. All the guys were nice and super respectful of my home. Even my dog stopped suspiciously growling at them after day two!

Brandon Surface exceeded my expectation across the board.Before we used Surface Roofing I checked references and all were glowing. I knew 2 references personally and I knew they would not hold back with their evaluation.While his team was on the roof they noticed a few issues and since they were already on location they resolved each of them quickly and without additional charges. How rare is that?I am 72 and probably will not put on another 40 yr roof but if I need one I will go with Surface Roofing.You should too.

tree debris dumping tip......they charge (me) based on the size of the trailer ie 3' x 14' and add charge for any branches sticking up higher than the top of the trailr. today they charged more than usual...see pictures. tip.... chop your last branches in the trailer and remove your ladders and tools for savings. i like this business and i really like ricardo as he is very fair, kind and professional.

My tree friends were busy working on homes that were destroyed or damaged by the storm; my damages were minimal and I took advantage of their reasonable quote for storm cleanup and tree elimination, they even fixed the water faucet that was knocked off - Highly recommend them.

I was able to get on their schedule to have two tall pines removed and have some dead branches cut off another. They showed up on time to do the work, and finished in about 4-5 hours. I have used Airrosti a few times before will great results. I had been having some back pain and I booked an appointment. Dr Brittany Adewoye worked with me to help alleviate the pain I was having. It took 2 sessions but now I feel great. She gave me a few exercises in addition to the treatments I received in the office. I would definitely recommend them if you have any type of muscle pain or soreness.
I have been a patient of Dr. Legros for 2+ years, I can confidently say she is the best of the best. Dr. Legros is thorough and listens to your chief complaints. Dr. Legros doesn’t give you a life long plan of care like other chiropractors! Highly recommend her. On top of it all, Dr. Legros’ prices are very fair.

I loved the fact that Doc, showed me exactly what is/was going on with me. Based on that he designed a treatment program, which is ongoing but I personally feel some much better. Can't thank these guys enough. Another big plus, you feel like these guys genuinely care about your recovery..

I got the most amazing adjustment from Dr. Kaechele Linder! I don't say this lightly, because I have been getting adjustments since I was very little. I've also been to lots of chiropractors before. I'm used to being contorted and pounded by male chiropractors, who have thrown their weight onto my back and done so many procedures that involve them being right in my face, just to get something to release. She noticed that I have PTSD and took extra care not to do any of the treatments I've had before, and got the best adjustments ever! I wish all chiropractors would handle people this way. If they could learn that might does not make right, there would be fewer people afraid to see Chiropractors. So, if you have been treated the way I have been, this is the Chiropractor for you!
We love everything about Heartland Chiropractic and Wellness! Dr. Kimber is truly amazing. So gentle, and knowledgeable. I trust her with both of my babies. My youngest had a head tilt and was developing an uneven head shape. A lot of stiffness and feeding issues. I started noticing such improvement after the first visit! We are so thankful!

This afternoon I came in with my sweet baby cat Tinks. He had to go under for emergency surgery and unfortunately he didn’t make it. But I wanted to give a shoutout to all the staff, nurses and doctors who tried their best and hardest to help my baby when needed. We absolutely love Dr Smith and everyone at Elyson Animal Hospital. We have 3 dogs, who are like our babies. We only trust Dr Smith! She is very knowledgeable and you can tell she truly cares for animals and their health. All 3 of our dogs react different at the vet, she always caters to each of them and makes them feel comfortable. Our husky in particular has had vet anxiety at other places, but not here! We have had surgeries, annual check ups, dental cleanings, neuro tests, blood panels, etc. and their prices seem reasonable for all. Despite always being busy with patients, Dr Smith never makes us feel rushed. She always explains everything fully and makes sure we are okay with her plan before moving forward. You will not regret bringing your fur babies here.

My 3 dogs and I are so happy to call Fry Road Animal clinic our vet. My dog Daisy needed a sick visit and the staff was able to upload all of the records i emailed them before the visit. I was impressed with everyone we met. Dr Brice was extremely through in his examination and explained all of the tests and medications. The exam was a through wellness exam as well as testing and treating her for allergies which is what brought us in. Additional vaccines and a skin test were recommended and i never felt pressured and i understood everything, every step of the way. I've since added the records for my other two dogs and will bring them in for annual visits when they are due. Simply the most caring, compassionate staff. Picture of adorable patient below.
We got a recommendation from my aunt who dr . Hokanson was her vet teach many years ago . We went another vet before and not getting the results we wanted to see . So we went go fur baby got diagnosed right. We so thankful for Dr. Hokanson ! The staff also is so friendly and treats our fur baby like their own . Our passed away not to long ago but im so thankful for this place we got 3 extra years with our baby . They treated us when it was with such grace. We coming back once we have healed and get a new baby

My first time experience here was amazing! I’ve been searching everywhere for a place to cut my dog’s nails for the longest. He’s so difficult and anxious when it comes to nail trims. But they were so sweet and patient with him. They got it done in no time without traumatizing and hurting him. Everyone was so welcoming and professional, I highly recommend it here!

First time visit and wanted to try the self service bath stations for my 62lb Australian Labradoodle. I usually bath him at home in our stand up shower and my back is always killing me afterwards. Not sure why it took me so long to visit PetBar but I am so glad I did today. Please give them a try, everything is provided (shampoos, towels, brushes, cologne) including a private room to dry your pup. Thanks for a great experience and super helpful staff!
The BEST groomer out there! I've taken my family pup to several groomers and this is just simply the most outstanding of all. The owner communicates easily through text regarding appointments. Super friendly! She also reaches out when the next grooming is due to see when to schedule the next appointment. Also, the haircut is just so cute and professionally done! The best part that stood out to me the most is that the grooming has been done in an hour or less and it always looks SO flawless! Once there's 10-15 minutes left in the haircut, you'll receive a text message that your pup will be done soon! I absolutely love Houston's Fuzzy Tails so much! Please take your fur baby here for the best service!

I am so happy I found this place! They did an amazing job on my senior dog who's going to be 16. The owners were really nice, easy to schedule an appointment and the grooming service was really quick. I drop my dog off a little before 9 am and I got a call a little after 10 he was ready for pick up. Thank you for taking such great care of my dog while he was there.

I've been coming to this place for 2ish years now. We started with my 12 year old small poodle who passed last year, and continue to come with my new fur baby and my mom's 2 dogs. They do a great job at communicating and delivering service we agree on. My dogs leave smelling amazing, fluffy, and fully cleaned, head to toe. Prices are reasonable and they fit my appointments when I need them.

I had grooming service for both my little doggies and absolutely loved it. I’ve been to other groomers and they took FOREVER and still a bad job unlike petbox which they did a wonderful job and very time punctual & understood what I wanted. Will definitely continue with their services!

We've been using Top Dog for several yrs. We had an old Shih Tzu and they took such good care of him noting on his paperwork all hole moles and skin issues. They were so patient only working a few minutes at a time. After he passed we got another Shih Tzu and they work on him as well. Now we have a Sheep-a-doodle and they do a great job on her. They are very patient and work with us to get the right cut. I know we'll be back, once a month.
They do a wonderful job grooming my pups! Always communicating with me every step of the way and always done in a timely manner.
Our dog Riley is an older dog and is pretty easy going but definitely still gets stinky and matted hair. Zoe's Pawfection was a great find! Henry, the owner, is incredibly accommodating and great at communicating. We have a few specific requirements that other groomers have ignored in the past, but they nail it every time. And you can tell they really care about the dogs--not just by with the attention to detail but the consideration for special circumstances like old and deaf dogs lol. We've used other mobile and big box store groomers in the past and it's all about turnaround, and my dog comes back wet and stressed, the special instructions ignored. That's never the case at Zoe's Pawfection. Other reviews completely contradict my experience and in all honesty seem suspicious.
Love this place! The teachers are great and all have their own style so you learn new things all the time. There's a variety of classes and levels to fit everyone and no two classes are the same. Keeps me interested and challenged.
I have been going to this Club Pilates location for about a month now. I feel more confident in my body and its abilities than I have with other workouts. I’ve tried multiple instructors and all of them and have a great patience and making sure you’re exercising correctly. I’m having a great time.

We came in for a couples massage. Vicky and Andy did an amazing job! The Thai massage and the deep tissue massages were great! Loved the stretching and pressure to work out all the knots and pinched nerves.
I had a "quick boost hand and arm reflexology for 30 minutes for $35 and the lady did really well. For an arm and hand massage I was able to feel comfortable and lay down in a reclining bed and prop up a pillow under my knee and have a blanket as well. Very enjoyable experience and totally relaxing. Next rime I will go for an hour massage.

I had the pleasure of going to Therapeutic Thai Massage today and it was wonderful. The staff were so friendly and welcoming. I got a 120 minutes Thai Combination Massage and it was amazing. The masseuse worked all of my tension areas and consistently checked in with me to make sure I was comfortable. I was offered tea and slippers on arrival. The room was nice and relaxing. I will be back!!!

This office has a phenomenal team. They diagnosed my problem after ER doctors told me it was my shoulder, when it was actually my neck.
The exercises and therapies allowed me to sleep for the first time in months. In a few short months I went from searing pain waking me dozens of time every night and numbness in my arm to zero pain and complete feeling in my arm. Several months later, I remain pain free and have been continuing their easy to understand exercises that can also be done at home.
I can’t speak highly enough of their entire team.

Hip pain was keeping me awake at night so I went to see Eileen at Ginkgo Tree. It was my first experience with acupuncture and I must say that I was quite impressed. I highly recommend taking your driving test with Drivers Ed in a Box. Their scheduling was flexible, with sessions available throughout the week. The booking process was straightforward, and their customer service lady was both responsive and informative. One of the most valuable aspects was the option to take a practice driving test with the examiner. My examiner, John, was especially helpful during both the mock test and the actual driving exam, providing insightful tips along the way. Thanks to his guidance, I passed the test confidently and came out of the experience a better driver.
Christian and Amber were great to work with. I used Katy driving school for both of my kids. The process was easy and painless. They do a great job making sure your kids are ready for the road! They also offer lots of packages, even if you do the parent taught option to make sure your child is safe and ready for the test.
