“In working with Joel I found he provided exactly what he described on his website as his philosophy and experience in the fitness industry. He was amazingly intuitive and observant in customizing a fitness program specific to my current fitness level and goals. He knows when to push a bit and when to change course if something isn’t working. He definitely does not practice a “cookie cutter one size fits all” method. He has extensive knowledge of anatomy and physiology as well as nutrition. He understands the connectivity relative to the “ flow” of each movement so that I could easily “ feel” the correct trajectory and focus on the specific muscle(s) that was my intention to work. He understands the importance of training the brain as an integral part of reaching fitness goals. He’s encouraging and uses positive reinforcement/ praise. I would definitely recommend Joel !“

“I can't say enough great things about Fit Columbia and the two trainers I have worked with (Angela and Blake), without writing a whole novel. When I came into my consultation I was unsure about what having a personal trainer would entail, but both Angela and Blake met me where I was in my fitness which lets be honest was hardly fitness and have brought me up to a much higher fitness level.
