We're thrilled with our new primary closet and mudroom. We got multiple quotes for the projects, but Bella was the best on all fronts - responsiveness, design, & value. Carolyn was so helpful in designing both spaces, suggesting ways for us to make the most of both spaces and use our budget in ways that maximized the function. The install process could not have been smoother - Jeremiah and Pedro completed the jobs quickly, cleaned up thoroughly at the end and were incredibly friendly. We had one small adjustment to make after the jobs were done, and that too was handled very easily with Chris. We will certainly be using Bella again for future projects. Highly recommend!
My child Namir was here from 9 month age. He formed an excellent bond with the teachers and friends. They keep the child for 10 hours if required, gives parents more flexibility with drop off and pick up time. In my almost 2 year experience with Teachable moments, did not face any concern as a parent. They do not bug the parents too often. They have nicely organized their small indoor and outdoor space and maintain safety and hygeine protocols. They provide food cooked in their kitchen without any added cost. Parents do not have to pack lunch. The teachers are cordial and attends each childs individual needs. My son liked to be hold and they would hold him to comfort. Ms Amira is like family to him.
I have been going to this practice since January and Dr Kelly and team have been able to help me get relief from a multitude health problems. The whole team is sharp, responsive, and kind. They aren't afraid of a challenge either, which has been extremely beneficial for me. I'm glad to have them on my team!
Tina's hands are definitely anointed! She did an excellent job on my son's hair. He was thoroughly pleased with his color and retwist, and received so many compliments! Tina and her staff are warm, welcoming, and so accommodating. We will be back!

I am not the leave a review type of gal but this review was needed because this hair salon was the best hair salon I’ve ever visit in all my years of living! I came in matted and thinking my hair was over and done with because it was horrible! I came in feeling sad, disappointed in myself, shame, embarrass, and feeling empty/not human! When the services was done I felt very beautiful, I kept looking at myself in the mirror, the stylist made me get butterflies ? when I seen my own self, she was patient, she didn’t judge, she would not let me keep putting myself down because of my hair and life choices. If you want a change in yourself please do yourself a favorite and start with this salon first. Best experience I’ve ever had in a hair salon! I am a forever client now!

I followed my stylist Sandy here. This is a really nice salon that looks like a lovely house on Germantown pike, which it probably was at one time! The whole downstairs is the salon now. It's got tons of parking in back of the house too. Everyone there is super friendly and it seems very popular. Sandy does a great job with my long layers and blonde highlights. Recommended !

I have always wanted a collar bone length hair but most of hair salons that I chose made my hair way too short that I expected.
Here, Catherine first measured and cut a bit of my hair to the right length and make sure that Im okay with it before a full hair cut. The length was exactly how I wanted, the wait time was very short.

I have gotten two haircuts by Carlos and I have been very happy with his work each time. Carlos takes the time to listen and makes very helpful suggestions. I love the symmetry of the haircut and it grows out beautifully as well. My hair has movement and volume which I was lacking. I feel very pretty with this haircut and the styling effort is minimal. Carlos is very talented.

I got my eyebrows microbladed by Allison last year, and when she moved salons I followed! I think they're still working on licensing for permanent makeup services, so I got my first lash lift and tint and ooooooooooooh my god was it amazing!!! Allison chatted with me the whole time and explained what was going on, and I love the way my lashes looked after!! I didn't use mascara for probably a whole month bc my lashes just looked that good! The salon itself was super cute and everyone was friendly with me and each other and super queer-friendly vibes (a must in salons imo) the only reason I haven't been back sooner is because I live in the suburbs and it's a little far from me to go regularly, but I thoroughly recommend checking this place out to get dolled up whenever you have a chance!

The girls here are so talented and sweet. I leave with perfect hair every time and I couldn’t recommend it enough. Sierra does my highlights, and she is a master at blonde.

Rob is incredible, I worked for him. Taught me a lot. His coworker however is incredibly unprofessional and drove me off, probably the other barbers too. That's why there's only Rob working now. It's a shame. He deserves better. What a classless person his coworker is. Disgusting. I only showed love and respect, and gifts.

Without a doubt, best nail salon I have ever been to. I have been looking for a salon that can do Japanese nail designs and this salon does them perfectly. Not only that, all of the basic manicuring services were on point. My old gel was filed off perfectly without damaging the nail bed, there was no pain at any point, and the manicuring was quick and efficient. This is the happiest I have ever been with my nails. I could not find a salon like this in San Francisco so I was really thrilled to find such a skilled salon in Philadelphia. I might fly back here just to get my nails done

The entire staff is so welcoming. I was quite hesitant on what direction to go with but Marcos and Emily were very knowledgeable and helped me with picking the right color. I wanted something subtle that would still match my natural hair color. Nothing with too much maintenance. They understood the assignment! Keratin treatment really worked!! Bone straight hair for days - usually when I get a blowout I immediately throw it up in a bun, but with the treatment I have silky smooth hair that in comfortable wearing down. My stylist was also super sweet, nice and did a fantastic job. You can tell she cares about her craft! Much love, ladies!!

This was the first time I ever got my lashes done and I am obsessed!! I really wanted super natural looking lashes but as if I have mascara on- and Kelly killed it! She walked me through what style would look best with my face/eye shape, and was incredibly sweet during the entire appointment. Felt no burning, no discomfort, and it didn’t even feel like I had lashes on!

The team at Follicles did an amazing job with hair/makeup for my mom, sister, and me for my wedding. The atmosphere at both my trial (which we did the day before the wedding) and for getting ready the day of really made it feel real and exciting. I was hoping that even though we were in the salon it would feel like the fun of just getting ready with your girlfriends, and it absolutely did. The environment was so friendly and welcoming, we truly had a blast.
The actual looks they delivered were also exactly what we wanted. I was a bit worried about how I would incorporate a family heirloom crown from my husband's side AND my veil into my hairstyle, especially since I wanted to be able to remove both post-ceremony. Lindsay made it work so beautifully. She helped guided my sister and mom on how to place and remove both elements.
Our other major concern was heat. It was in the high 90s and super humid, so I wasn't sure how anything would last. All of our hair and makeup stayed intact all day without touch ups.
Lastly, I was super grateful to the team for their flexibility. I had brought false lashes, but once I saw them on it felt like too much. Lindsay had totally prepared for the possibility I may want to switch them, and was able to just take them off and still make my eyes pop with other makeup. I think all three of us arrived feeling a little uncertain about our ideas for our hair since it was just so hot, but the team helped guide us and just made everything work. Huge thanks!

Naj made recommendations and suggestions on effective skin care routines for my self care. I left with glowing skin and felt refreshed and rejuvenated. She has monthly specials, I went in May and after my treatment, my skin was literally glowing and felt so clean. I bought some home maintenance products, also on a promotion. I love this place. They have great customer service, great ambience, and good music. The staff is so friendly they also are very careful and don’t hurt you while waxing. The young lady at the front was able to help me with a face exfoliants from the skin care line and it left my face so soft and glowing love their products as well. The membership makes waxes affordable and you can get them once a month.

I lost her when she left there, but I was able to find her again after looking for her nonstop. lol. She is very clean, pleasant, and precise. She is very nice and she isn’t awkward during visits. She is very open minded and I love our girl talks. She doesn’t even know, during some of the lowest points of my life, being able to vent with no judgement at my appts really helped me at that time. I really enjoyed the space and my practitioner. The only notes that I would give is that they have “Reflexology” listed but it’s really just a foot massage. I think listing the services as a foot massage would be more accurate since reflexology really is its own thing.

The facial had so many gentle steps with beautiful aromatherapy built in with Dr. Hauschka products. I'm already a Hauschka lover/believer since they are so natural. It was one of the reasons I picked this spa. Amari has a soothing voice and explained things step-by-step, yet also allowed time for quiet. There were extra touches like the neck massage and gentle stroking of the feet and ankles to restore your body. Amari cares deeply for their work, and it shows through everything they do. There is no add-on here or shaming. This is a place where you are loved as you are. I'll be back. :) They have Alexa, so bring your music requests.
I had an awesome experience with Esther getting an hour long massage along with trying suction cups! They were super nice and very welcoming and made me feel much better about accidentally showing up 30 minutes early for an appointment haha. Will be back for sure!!

This was a very positive and exciting experience. My eyes did not burn at all during the Lash application process, nor did it burn after. She also worked very fast. When booking it says it takes about two hours she took an hour and 20 minutes.

I got a last minute cancelation appointment with Lily Blu and I am so happy I did!! It is the most detailed tattoo I have ever seen and it only took her a little over an hour to do (its is about 3"). The tattoo was to cover up a scar I had on my leg and now you can barley see it. I could not be more happy with it and I officially think I have the best tattoo of all my friends bc of how good her work is! Could not recommend enough!!

The place is beautiful (it's in an old church complete with stained glass windows!) and filled with great art books for inspiration. Fun and interesting conversations with the artists (and even some clients) flow freely around the space.

30 years ago, I walked into this shop as an 18 year old that just got out of Boot Camp. I had been stationed at the Philadelphia Navy Ship Yard, and my first night out on my own…. I found Philadelphia Eddies. After hanging out with a few of the artists and customers for a couple of hours I made an appointment with Chris Henry, who the very next day gave me my first tattoo.
In my time in the Navy stationed in Philadelphia, I got 3 tattoos from Philadelphia Eddies.
Last week I made it back to Philadelphia for the first time since I was stationed there. While I was excited about going to Eddies to get some ink, I was nervous about it because I knew it would be completely different people than I knew 30 years ago. I called both locations on 4th street, and I was really disappointed with the response that I got from the other shop a few doors down that flys the Philadelphia Eddies flag, they were short, and seemed put out to even talk to me about what I wanted done, like they just didn’t care.
I decided to stop into this shop just to reminisce a little. There we were meet by Kelly, who was AWESOME. She took the time to hear my stories about my history in the shop, and was absolutely interested in our business. She introduced us to Jason, who did a new tattoo for me. We were so impressed with these two that my Girlfriend had Jason do one for her too.

They did a great job. All I needed was my fob key cut; I called one day and they said a technician would call the next day to schedule an appointment for me to come in. Sure enough I did get a call in the morning and was able to head over. Within no more than 15 minutes the technician was done cutting the key. What I appreciated most is that he did make sure I used the new key before leaving. He wanted to make sure it was able to both lock and unlock the car door; so glad he took the time to see the job all the way through. Efficient service.

I first contacted Homeworks in March of 2024 for a move-out deep clean, and then signed up for recurring, bimonthly cleanings at my new house. I have had housekeeping services off and on for about 8 years with the same company (not Homeworks), and it just got to a point where I was having to check that standard tasks were being done. I’m super laid back in terms of cleaning, I just need help to maintain the basics (dust, floors, bathrooms) and make sure it doesn’t get out of control, so having to check if bathrooms were cleaned and/or dusting was done just became too much. All that being said, I was in the market for a new cleaning company, and called 4-5 places in Philly to compare services and prices, and Homeworks was a clear winner. The pricing is extremely reasonable, more than competitive in comparison to a lot of companies I spoke with and worked with in the past. I asked a lot of questions around provided services and add-on costs, as I was looking for long-term support, and was reassured I could call any time and add additional services when needed for a very fair price (e.g. folding laundry, dishes, etc.).
Since signing up with Homeworks, my cleaners have been Nicole and Alyssa, and I can’t express enough how happy I am with their service and positive attitudes. They have been so helpful in just taking charge and being proactive; as I mentioned, I’m pretty laid back and not specific on task approach (plus I'm usually bogged down with work to the point I don’t even realize what needs to be done), so having them take the initiative and just tackle the work is exactly what I need. Nicole and Alyssa are always on time; and scheduled on Mondays at 9:30am, no less! Just as one example, their attention to detail in the bathrooms is amazing - I have those square, white, porcelain sinks that can be hard to clean and thick grout between tile on the floor and in the showers in both bathrooms, and without fail, everything is spotless by the time they’re done.
The Manager, Doug, is also so personable and super easy to work with. He always returns a phone call promptly and is very thorough and thoughtful. Doug checks in every so often with an email or a phone call on how things are going and asks for feedback. There is a personal touch with customers culture that’s being fostered at Homeworks, which is a rarity nowadays, and that’s not lost on me!
I also LOVE the automated reminders, invoices, and receipts, not everyone does that. I can pay an invoice in less than 15 seconds and have a receipt emailed immediately.

We recently purchased a home in the Cedar Park section of Philadelphia. We contacted Mother \\u0026 Daughters to get a quote for a move-in clean. The business owner, Ms. Flood, answered the phone. She was very thorough and professional. She gave us a quote that was competitive with other cleaning companies, and as the business owner, she seemed more hands on, and knew what she was talking about. We decided to use Mother \\u0026 Daughter's services. The house was very dirty from top to bottom. And that's how they cleaned, from top to bottom. They cleaned the ceiling fans, windows inside and out, including the window casings. Wiped the baseboards, shined the wood floors. The kitchen was horrendous. Ms. Flood's team cleaned the all cabinets inside and out. The cabinets shelves had paper lining on them, that had been there so long, it was literally stuck to the shelves, and had to be chemically removed. They were able remove it, shelf by shelf, what a job that must have been. They thoroughly cleaned both bathrooms, and even cleaned the unfinished side of the basement which was another whole level of dirty. It took her team two whole days to finish the job. When I stopped by to check on the progress, I noticed that Ms. Flood was there, working side by side with her team. We are very happy with the level of cleanliness that Mother \\u0026 Daughters provided. Definitely a five star cleaning job.
I have been using this company for over a year now and I’m so happy I found them. The quality of work is consistent each time they come (I have monthly cleanings done).The cleaner came today and accidentally broke a necklace bust holder in my room. I was immediately notified as soon as they found out it happened and they took full accountability. They ask how they could make it right. I’ve been with Scrub Cleaning since 2019. I have great experience with the manager and have had pretty consistent cleanings over the years. I appreciate that if something isn’t right that they really take in the feedback and make things right. For the last several months I have had the same team member and she does an excellent job, including changing bed linens, consistently. I think the price is reasonable for biweekly cleaning for my two story, 2 bedroom, 3 bathroom house. I give them 5 stars.

Hired Dan to refinish our poorly coated maple floors and to repair areas where we had demolished substructures of the house. Stopped by the shop to consult with him and he quickly recommended the cheaper option of refinishing rather than installing all new flooring. His team was quick and efficient, working around us as we remained living in the home. He does four coats of water-based polyurethane and the finish is excellent. I had a few questions after the work was done and he gladly stopped by the property to consult and even fix little areas that required attention. Dan has decades of experience with flooring in Philadelphia and has even refinished multiple floors on boathouse row. Would definitely recommend using Dan and Keystone Flooring. His shop on pine street is great to check out even if you have no flooring needs!

My homes Pine Wood Floors needed some repair including board replacement, patching cracks in boards, and holes from floor knots. Steve and the guys from Artisan provided an excellent service and ensured care to my home and belongings in the process. We very much enjoyed working with the whole Buckminster team. It was our first project but they made the process understandable and easy. The upfront estimation for project length and price were almost perfectly on target for the reality of the project as they know old row homes well and were prepared (and prepared us) for the expected issues and included them in the estimation. Their client service is excellent, they are very responsive (even after the job was completed!). I truly can't say enough good things about this company! Really quick response time, very caring staff, and impeccable craftsmanship. They were always upfront about where they saw issues in our home and checked in later in the month to make sure everything was still ship shape. A bit more detail about what we had done - Our house had some sort of pest in the ceiling that was driving our cats and dog crazy. We had an exterminator come, but he was useless, saying that we would have to wait for the vermin to die in the ceiling and to let the smell dissipate once it died. :/ Thankfully, we then called Mike. He agreed that the exterminator's plan was not optimal, and, after discussing options, he cut a hole in the ceiling to install a humane trap and put a cover over the hole that looks like it had always been in the house. He checked all places a rodent could get in, literally from the roof to the foundation, and patched all holes. There was flashing that was peeling off around our roof that he fixed, and huge holes in our basement that led to the backyard, as well as our hoarder neighbor's house. Mike and his crew worked around my hectic schedule, came within 24 hours to set up traps, and removed anything that was caught. It is apparent how much Mike and Evolution care about their customers, and we are grateful to have people we can trust in our home. Thanks to their efforts, our home is now pest free!
I hired this company twice. The first time to repoint my stone and brick on the front of my house. I had the wonderful experience of using McFarland-Shechtman Tree Service on June 18, 2024. Mr. Casey came to my home with the two worker's and introduced them to me so I would be aware of the person's working in my yard. I had a 25-30 foot tree to be trimmed. The workers were extremely careful not to damage any of their surroundings on my property. The tree was trimmed so perfectly that it appeared to be a beautiful magazine display. They cleaned my property as if it was a personal assignment. They spoke respectful/friendly/knowledgeable. This company is definitely a 5 star when it comes to picture perfect work and affordable pricing. I would recommend them to the White House in Washington. We are at a loss to describe the genuine, sincere and caring from Jim. It was brought to our attention that a young cat, less than a year old cat had climbed more than 40 feet up a tree. Despite calls to the local fire department, animal control, SPCA, local TV stations, we were at a loss how to save this kitten.We anguished seeing this kitten, crying, stranded in cold weather, being bounced around on a narrow limb from high winds, with no food, water or ability to shelter for 3 days. Of the dozens of calls we made, Jim responded and despite being late in day, arrived as promised. Naively, I expected to see ladders and other equipment. To my surprise, based upon Jim's review of a photo I sent, Jim had a duffle bag filled with climbing equipment. His knowledge, expertise and familiarity with rescuing an animal was evident. He positioned the climbing ropes in the tree, put on his harness, cleats, gloves and hardhat and ascended the tree. His experience was obvious. As he approached the cat he spoke to the cat in a calming voice, and secured the cat. The cat has a new forever home and is doing well. Jim's caring was unmistakable. Oh yes, by the way, Jim is an excellent arborist.

The team at Razavi Dental has changed how I feel about going to the dentist. They are wonderfully accommodating and comforting. I love this dentist’s office, which I found on a recommendation of a friend. After a car accident they put my front teeth back together and you could never tell they had been chipped. The staff is always friendly, gentle but thorough with cleanings, and informative.

As someone who has always felt that dental pain is far more excruciating than giving birth(in my youth-filled dental experiences), me giving 5 stars is a big deal!!!...I had a tooth implant done here. First, Dr. Belinda Brown-Johnson had to yank-out the remains of my broken tooth ? ?. Although this felt like a kind of brutal, physically violent violation, that would scar an individual for life, it was surprising painless! Though very terrified, outside of hearing the bones break in my jaw, all I felt was a lot of pressure. At every visit Dr. Belinda explained everything that she was going to do, what I may experience and what I needed to do and how to do it! After being in her care for 5 months, my 6th & final month was handle by Dr. Corey Mele... just a gem of a man. Dr. Corey also communicated his actions and was thorough, like an artist painting on a canvas.
Being in the care of individuals who truly take pride in their work is a joy which made my experience all the more pleasant...erasing the terrifying ?

I feel like Heart Strong Chiropractic has helped my body so much since I started treatment. In the past I would get massages hoping to fix my neck/back issues but nothing would really help long-term. I decided to try chiropractic care for the first time and after my first visit I felt so much better. Two weeks ago my Kings Charles Cavalier's health declined seriously in the middle of the night. He had been suffering from from neuropathy in his back legs and he now had a temperature and was yelping in pain. From the moment we walked in to VEG on Walnut Street, Philadelphia, Dr. Megan and her team of nurses treated us with such love and were so comforting. She listened and gave me the options for moving forward. Finnegan was at the end and we decided to put him to sleep. It was a heart wrenching decision and my sweetie died in my arms. They also arranged a cremation package - ashes, footprint and hair lock - that arrived a few days later. Everyone here is super personable and informative. Dr. Knighton and the Tech that checked out Fred, my 10 week old street urchin, were super gentle with him. They gave me a clear overview of what to expect for upcoming visits. They also used treats to help Fred be calm while he received care.
I also really appreciated that the front desk staff is able to give you a ballpark quote for the cost of the visit. There's nothing like being blindsided with fees.

We were extremely nervous, as our cat was ill for several days and vomiting. Other vets would not give me a fairly reasonable or quick appt. The staff scheduled us as a new patient immediately with kindness and empathy. During the visit, the doctor and staff were extremely attentive, concerned, caring and knowledgeable. They were gentle and patient, as our cat Dixon was extremely fearful. We left feeling that they truly care and that Dixon received thorough and excellent care. We are confident that they gave him the best treatment and highly recommend World of Animals to anyone who truly wants the best love and care. We are extremely grateful and will be making them our new vet for Dixon and our other two Casts.

Dr. Denish was my pet ball pythons only vet from when he was 11 to when he passed away at 32. He was very helpful when my snake had temporary periods of not eating. Overall I highly recommend this facility and especially Dr. Denish for reptile needs. Not many vets know how to treat snakes, and Dr. Denish is great and knowledgeable.
We felt that our pet received great care during his last visit. We are grateful to have a local vet who takes the time to hear our concerns and love our pet as much as we do. It is a little bit pricey here, but the convenience and quality of care if worth it to us!
I started taking my cat here recently and they've been lovely. He was a street cat and they were very thorough in their initial work-up along with giving me advice as a new cat owner on what he needs. Picture of the lil guy for cuteness.

I adopted a cat from Stray Cat Relief Fund & met the foster parent there. It was a nice place. And I adopted Frank. I think I might change his name to Truesdale. But the grooming salon part looked nice.
At Alpha Dog Grooming, we always schedule with Brittany. Brittany is amazing at cutting our Bichon poo’s hair. She always adds a unique touch to his style making him stand out. He is absolutely adorable and his tail looks like a cute little Pom Pom.
I highly recommend this daycare. They hold meetings to discuss how to handle dogs or interactions with dogs. They divide dogs up based on play style (to my understanding). The staff are knowledgeable. They are skilled with reactive dogs and other types. Staff and the owner are all wonderful people. This is by far the best daycare.
I had a wonderful experience at Sally’s Paw Spa! Benji took the time to thoroughly review my grooming preferences before the appointment, ensuring everything was perfect. The staff was incredibly kind, and my Golden Retriever was comfortable throughout the process. When I picked him up, he was relaxed and waiting. He looked absolutely beautiful—I had forgotten what he was supposed to look like! Lol. Highly recommend Sally’s Paw Spa for anyone looking for a caring and professional grooming service!

They did an amazing job and even took me in when they were overwhelmed and super busy. Which I'm sure lasagna ( the cat) appreciated! I know I did.
They did the best they could to not make him look ridiculous, and then went over and above by dropping him off at my place of business because they were unable to take him right away.

I truly trust my cat is well taken care of when I leave her at Greene Street Animal Care. If the doctor is there during the time my cat is boarded there they will even cut her nail if I request them to be cut.
They have been so great and patient with our boy Arlo. He is a high energy and anxious dog, which could make him difficult to manage. They have done amazing job making sure he has a great time while also ensuring he isn't getting overstimulated. They also take the best photos and leave cute updates. Would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking into doggie day care.

I am officially addicted. A friend invited me to join them at YogaSix and shared a free class but sadly I had to cancel last minute so it took me a little while to finally get back and check out a YogaSix class. I'm so grateful to the friend that persisted and invited me again. This specific YogaSix has a wonderful owner who is so lovely and welcoming. The studio is located on the 5th floor of a building that is almost tucked away on 17th street. It can be easy to miss, and if you arrive early in the morning then the front door may be locked. Use the keypad to find YogaSix in the directory and call them, then they'll buzz you up. I've tried every class offering and have also done the monthly Sound Bath, which was lovely. The instructors are great and offer plenty of modifications and options for all levels. The hot room is definitely something to get used to but it is personally my favorite part. Actually... the cold eucalyptus towel after the workout is my favorite part but the warm room is #2. If you are looking for hot yoga, are visiting town and need to get a class in, or if you are just interested in trying something new then YogaSix is for you!
I feel fortunate to have found this studio over 7 yrs ago. I've practiced in person and virtually at Blue Banyon Yoga. Began taking yoga classes over 40 yrs ago. Hands down, these are the finest, most experienced, healthy, vibrant, attentive, well educated instructors I've ever encountered. I credit my current spine health which has had past needed surgical intervention to my practice and attention to the education I've received at Blue Banyan Yoga.

Participated in a sound bath event last night, with Eunmi, and it was awesome. It was my first time at this studio, and thought the space was great. There is one room for yoga and events, but it's large. They have tea and water in the lobby, and yoga mats are free to use. The event itself was relaxing and wonderful. I would definitely attend again.
This yoga studio has an instructor for everyone. It's just about finding the right one for you. I personally enjoy that you will find classical yoga here. It's not watered down by extreme western influence and it sticks to its roots and culture. A respectful space and inclusive. They are also very accommodating to areas you want to work on. The studio is very big too.
Yoga Habit is truly a one-of-a-kind studio. The huge windows and hot classes make for a great environment, and the people really seal the deal. If you get a chance, definitely take a class with Jung - she’s the absolute best!
Having a hot yoga close to my house in Fishtown has become staple for me. I have no more aches and pains from when I pulled my muscles in the fall of 2022. I feel wonderful and look forward to each and every class.The instructors are lovely!

Julia the trainer was amazing not only with coaching the class and giving positive reinforcement but with also making sure my form was good throughout the class and adjusting the springs for me throughout each move. I had the best experience at Zen! I did a 90 minute massage and every part of my body got the perfect amount of attention. Everyone is very attentive here and makes sure you get the massage you’re looking for. They’re always asking if everything is okay and if you need more focus in a specific area.

This is my third time coming to the healing spa of Philly. Amy and Angelina were such great and kind masseuses. This time we got a 110 mins massage plus ear picking plus cupping for my husband. It was such a great experience, Amy and Angelina knew exactly where the problems were in our bodies and gave suggestions on what we can do to improve our overall health. Hands down the best massage in the east coast. My husband and I are from DC, but we would travel to Philly just to get massages here. Prices are very reasonable too. 10 out of 10.
I cannot express how wonderful this place is. I had a lymphatic drainage massage from Jes and it was everything I didn’t know I needed. I felt heard and taken care of. I will be a repeat customer and I plan on recommending this place to everyone I know.

I had an unforgettable experience at Massage & Bodywork Studio. From the moment I stepped inside, I felt… something. It’s hard to describe, but there was an overwhelming sense of quiet anticipation in the air, like the studio was *waiting* for me. The receptionist gave me a strange, knowing smile as they led me to the back, as though they'd been expecting me for a long time.
The massage itself was almost otherworldly. The therapist seemed to know exactly where my tension had been building up—places I didn’t even know existed. There was a certain… *familiarity* in their touch, like they had worked on my body before, in another time or place. The pressure was just right, almost as if they were *inside* my muscles, feeling the aches before I even noticed them.
What was most unsettling, though, was the stillness in the room. There were no other clients, no other sounds—just me and the soft, almost imperceptible hum of the building itself. At one point, I could have sworn I heard whispers, not from the therapist, but from the walls. They seemed to be *alive*, watching, listening.
When the session ended, I felt a deep, strange sense of calm. But there was something else too, an unsettling feeling that I couldn’t shake, like I’d just become a part of something much larger than I could understand. The receptionist smiled at me again as I left—this time, their eyes lingered just a little too long.
I’ll definitely be going back. I feel like the studio *knows* me now. And I’m curious to see just how deep that connection goes…

I saw Madeline today and William back in March and had a positive experience on both occasions! I felt like Madeline really listened to my concerns and focused on parts of my back causing me the most pain. Everyone here is very pleasant and welcoming, the atmosphere is also relaxing! It’s a little hard to get ahold of someone on the phone, but I will definitely return.

I got to work with Gabi, and not only is she incredibly knowledgeable (I saw immediate results after just one session with her!!) and professional, she is so understanding and empathetic. Restore PT puts so much effort into making the space comfortable for every patient that walks through the door. I had such a fantastic experience. Unfortunately, it was cut short due to a family emergency and I wasn't able to complete all of my sessions. But I am continuing with exercises/stretches and am noticing improvement daily. Gabi actually reached out to me to follow up and check-in on how I was doing. She truly cares about my health, and makes me feel so supported and like I can reach out to her with any needs. I highly recommend Restore PT & Pelvic Health, cant say it enough!

I was referred to PT for pelvic floor therapy, after childbirth. It was so easy to schedule appointments that worked for my schedule. I had never been to PT before so I wasn't sure what to expect. Naomi was great at making me feel comfortable, educating me and motivating me to try new things. I was even able to include my husband and baby on a session. Atlantic Physical Therapy has helped me cruise through postpartum and improved my pain drastically. I was surprised each week at the progress I was making and how far I had come. I would definitely recommend Atlantic Physical Therapy for expectant and postpartum mothers.

All the staff at the Bustleton Ave location are highly professional and skilled, but still friendly and personable. I don't want to be treated by well-trained robots and that is NOT what you get at Montco Rehab. I've made excellent progress clinically with the help of therapists Jackie and Frank (there was a staff switch after I started, but everything worked out quite well), and I've come to trust the team so much that I'm planning on seeking additional referrals to treat other long-standing issues when I'm finished dealing with my broken/replaced shoulder. Aides Mia and David keep a watchful eye on all the patients and provide much needed support - moral and physical. Carol has kept my account up to date and running smoothly.
All in all, I couldn't have asked for a better first-time PT experience, and I'm very grateful to the Montco Rehab team for all their help!
As a former athlete with a previous knee injury, I was in constant knee pain, preventing me from enjoying the gym, which I love a lot. Eastern Rehab is definitely above expectations. Treatment includes adjustment/manipulation by Dr. Wang, who is both a chiropractor and physical therapist. Treatment includes exercise, and equipment includes an enhanced pulley system (Red Cord). They have massage chairs, traction, both for cervical and lower body, TENS/EMS (electronic muscle stimulation), and ultrasound. At the end of a session, you get a hands-on massage.
I came to Magee from Jefferson Hospital with Gillian-Barre Syndrome (GBS). 5 weeks of acute therapy. This is a 1st class facility, both therapists, nurses & Drs were great. No lie, therapy was hard, my PT’s pushed everyday to achieve next goal. From couldn’t move my fingers down to my toes to walking out the door with walker. I’m in home therapy & going to outpatient here in a few weeks. I’m grateful for the highly qualified Magee!
I had a great experience at Summit Acupuncture with Cece. I felt very comfortable and relaxed. We discussed my concerns and what areas we would work on first. My treatment was painless but did include some muscle stimulation that was a great addition. I am looking forward to continuing my treatments and seeing results.
Mary is fantastic. Highly recommend her! My pain has gone away and she's helped with our IVF cycle. She sits down with me before each session to understand what issues I'm facing, what my current nutrition plan is, and more. She does a fantastic job at Accupuncture and cupping. She has excellent bedside manner and is easy to talk to. She helped with our Ivf cycle which has resulted in a very positive outcome. Couldn't recommend her enough!
I'm so grateful that I started getting acupuncture treatments with Christopher a few months ago. It's been life-changing, and a variety of my symptoms have already improved drastically, including hormonal issues, extreme fatigue and brain fog, and anxiety. Acupuncture might seem scary to those who have not tried it before, but the needles are extremely light and it's a very relaxing experience. Christopher is very knowledgeable and in-depth with his approach, and truly listens to his clients' concerns. During the sessions, he starts out by sitting with you and asking how you're feeling. Christopher genuinely cares, and his 1:1 approach with only seeing one client at a time makes the experience more comfortable and personal. I've tried another popular acupuncture place in Philly, and the acupuncturist divided his time among different clients at the same time. It was not the type of experience I was looking for and I did not see any positive results, unfortunately. I'm glad I gave acupuncture another shot and I'm glad I found Christopher. The reviews really say it all. From Christopher's approach to his cozy, peaceful office space, I cannot recommend it enough.
My initial visit was terrific! Calm relaxed atmosphere, painless and healing for my first visit. I will be returning for more treatments.

My experience with Susanna has been great. This has been my first experience with acupuncture and Susanna has been excellent in helping me understand not only my treatment but is more than willing to answer any and all questions related to it. The results are excellent. I can't recommend her highly enough.
I started going to Six Fishes about 5 months ago for some specific pain and wanted to share that my experience at SF has been really amazing, with a big shout out to my practitioner Paul Cybularz. Paul is always attentive and I had noticeable relief from my pain, well within my first few sessions with him. Paul is extremely knowledgable and you can tell he really cares about what he does. I recently started a Facial Rejuvenation series with him and am half way through and really love the results. The sessions are always impactful, yet restorative.
Paul is so great, but I'm hesitant to say too much more about how wonderful he is because I don't want all his sessions to fill up! ;) Amanda at the front desk is also so sweet and helpful with scheduling. Thank you Six Fishes for a wonderful team and atmosphere!

Danielle checks us in and makes us feel welcome every time we step in the building. Our Chinese Medicinal specialist and acupuncturist Brittany is AMAZING. Not only is she so gentle and reaffirming in her care, but she’s attentive and warm when discussing treatment for the future and just an amazing human.
I found relief from pain both immediately and in the weeks that followed, and have even brought my partner in for treatment after finding such success.
We are already looking into workshops and additional treatments to help us on our journey, and I’m sure they’ll be amazing.

Brittany continues to be a fountain of knowledge and compassion and affirming care to help us maintain a balanced and healthy life.
And recently the folks at SPCA have brought on Eric, another talented Chinese medicine doctor, acupuncturist, and herbalist.
I have been through the “Western Medical Ringer” as Eric dubs it, and have been prescribed a pill or a gel or an injection for every symptom only to have my symptoms still often be unmanageable.
Meeting with Eric we went over a detailed account of my symptoms and diseases, and he confidently said an hour later “I’m certain we can help you suffer less, live more, and feel better.”
I’m thinking - Big words. Let’s see what happens.
Within 10 days on the herbs I have markedly improved (20-30%) in so many areas (70% of symptoms). I cannot recommend Eric and his herbalism practice enough. He’s also an expert in deep stimulation acupuncture and electrical stimulation. His treatments combined with Brittany’s continual care have helped me limit the use of previously necessary mobility aids like my cane.

Both Eva and Vito are excellent at what they do. I’d never been to an acupuncturist before, and they did everything to make me feel very comfortable with the process.
I started because I had an injury in my shoulder, but in the meantime they’ve helped me with a lot of my ongoing body issues and injuries. I can tell when I haven’t been in a while because my shoulders start to feel and look like Frankenstein’s monster. Afterwards all my muscles feel like silly putty.

Yesterday was my first time doing acupuncture and I had the pleasure of being treated by Rachel. Rachel was wonderful! She was genuine, calm and guided me throw my first appt. Doctor Shu is absolutely incredible. Not only is she kind and warm, but she genuinely listened to me and my specific needs and ailments better than any doctor I’ve ever been to. She is an expert of healing and knew exactly how to treat the specifics of my injuries. I have a severe herniated disc and am uninsured, so going to a specialist would be almost financially impossible. I’m happy to say that after 3 weeks of excruciating pain, I felt so much relief after just my first visit. I’m looking forward to my follow up visit and will probably be a regular life-long client. I have never felt more relaxed in my life; my muscles, nerves and joints are all totally balanced in calm, pain-free, harmony. Thank you Doctor Shu! She’s 100% knows her Qi!
Highly recommended Dr Zhong at Core Acupuncture for pain management! I started seeing Dr Zhong when I noticed a big lump on my wrist and I also had long history of tension and muscle pain in my shoulders and back. Only after a few sessions, the lump was completely gone and my shoulders and back are no longer tense and painful. I feel much more relax and energetic in my daily life now! Dr Zhong is very professional and thoughtful! She is the best acupuncture specialist in town and I will not go anywhere else for acupuncture!

I’ll recommend this place to anyone who wants to learn driving and get a driver’s license as quick as possible. I had zero driving experience and was a bit nervous. Then I took 5 lessons here and passed the road test on my first try, ending up getting my license in two weeks! Much faster than I anticipated. The instructor was knowledgeable and taught me in a structured way, which is exactly what I was looking for. They also have their own testing site in northeast Philly so you don’t have to wait to take a test at DMV. My last lesson was at their testing site and I could get familiar with the actual environment beforehand to relax during the test.
Wow!!! Had a great experience and journey in this school. Am glad that I decided to switch from Smith&Solomom to AAA. From the classroom to when you actually in the yard, to drive, the location changes. However, Mike the teacher is cool, open, and willing to help you. The driving coaches Khalif, Mike, Paul are always willing to show you different ways to drive, park, or couple the trucks… at your pace. Thanks to them taking there time I learn how to shift & drive a manual vehicle . Even the ladies in the office Katie & Jessica are always so available to answer any questions or concerns. Am glad I went with my second choice, and attendedAAA TRUCKING SCHOOL.
