I received amazing customer service from 24 Hour Door and would use them again! I want to especially mention Clayton the Regional Manager who was really on top of everything. He kept me informed about each step of the work that needed to be done and finished the job earlier than expected; how can I complain? He was extremely professional throughout the whole process and I could tell he was very experienced. Being a woman and calling a "construction" company I am sometimes nervous that I will be gouged on pricing or lied to and neither happened. I would use this company again and recommend them to all of my friends and colleagues. Calling 24 Hour door is a must!

Ms. Miriam has been braiding my hair since I was about 8-9 years old, I am almost 32 years old! She has a gift, not only does she make sure your hair is perfect but she also has a “growing hand”. You have to be consistent and keep booking her for braids and you will see your hair grow. She makes sure you are very comfortable and you will not regret booking her at all. She is amazing!

One of the best regular polish manicures I’ve ever had! This was my first time at the nail salon and Elaine did my nails. She rocks! She was super quick but did not lack on providing me with the best service. The salon was very clean which made me feel comfortable. They use quality nail polish also. I have always wanted a collar bone length hair but most of hair salons that I chose made my hair way too short that I expected.
Here, Catherine first measured and cut a bit of my hair to the right length and make sure that Im okay with it before a full hair cut. The length was exactly how I wanted, the wait time was very short.

I have gotten two haircuts by Carlos and I have been very happy with his work each time. Carlos takes the time to listen and makes very helpful suggestions. I love the symmetry of the haircut and it grows out beautifully as well. My hair has movement and volume which I was lacking. I feel very pretty with this haircut and the styling effort is minimal. Carlos is very talented.

Bud is easily the best barber I’ve ever worked with, along with being the friendliest. I’ve been seeing him for the last 4 years and he’s never given me a bad cut, even when I’ve come to him with bad ideas. Honestly all the hype and reviews are real. This place from start to finish is a luxurious experience for a guy that wants to get a haircut or facial; self care is important and the little details count down to the scent when walking in this barber ?. I was in a bad state and Rob understood. Taking the time during my first visit to consult with me and had me walking out the door feeling very confident and happy with my hair along with just a complete overall relaxing experience.

Just went to That Girl Beauty Lab for the first time and it was my best lash lift & tint & brow shaping & tint experience I’ve had.
Nicole is so sweet & made me super comfortable. She’s so light handed and gentle while still bringing amazing results. At other places I felt tugging on my lashes but I didn’t feel any of that here the whole time. I love how my lashes came out. The brow shape & tint was also amazing. Most times I leave with super dark unnatural brows that take a few days to fade, but Nicole helped make my nails darker while still looking great & even helped make the inner parts of my brows a little lighter.
I’m so happy with this experience and I can’t wait to go back. Plus, the space is beautiful, clean, and modern. The chair you lay in is also comfortable and they even give you a blanket to be cozied up! I highly recommend it this beauty lab, especially Nicole! ❤️

Keratin treatment really worked!! Bone straight hair for days - usually when I get a blowout I immediately throw it up in a bun, but with the treatment I have silky smooth hair that in comfortable wearing down. My stylist was also super sweet, nice and did a fantastic job. You can tell she cares about her craft! Much love, ladies!!

She walked me through what style would look best with my face/eye shape, and was incredibly sweet during the entire appointment. DON'T HESITATE TO BOOK!!! I had no idea that after strolling into CDR 3 years ago that I would be stumbling upon a forever thing. I have been to them all and I never ever want another aesthetician, CDR is the end all be all. Chrissy is beyond trained in SKIN, not products but SKIN. What I mean by that is, it literally does not matter what you look like, she will know what to do and how to treat your skin and that's only IF you're lucky to get an appt with her, but guess what ?!? The team at Follicles did an amazing job with hair/makeup for my mom, sister, and me for my wedding. The atmosphere at both my trial (which we did the day before the wedding) and for getting ready the day of really made it feel real and exciting. I was hoping that even though we were in the salon it would feel like the fun of just getting ready with your girlfriends, and it absolutely did. The environment was so friendly and welcoming, we truly had a blast.
The actual looks they delivered were also exactly what we wanted. I was a bit worried about how I would incorporate a family heirloom crown from my husband's side AND my veil into my hairstyle, especially since I wanted to be able to remove both post-ceremony. Lindsay made it work so beautifully. She helped guided my sister and mom on how to place and remove both elements.
Our other major concern was heat. It was in the high 90s and super humid, so I wasn't sure how anything would last. All of our hair and makeup stayed intact all day without touch ups.
Lastly, I was super grateful to the team for their flexibility. I had brought false lashes, but once I saw them on it felt like too much. Lindsay had totally prepared for the possibility I may want to switch them, and was able to just take them off and still make my eyes pop with other makeup. I think all three of us arrived feeling a little uncertain about our ideas for our hair since it was just so hot, but the team helped guide us and just made everything work. Huge thanks!

The young lady at the front was able to help me with a face exfoliants from the skin care line and it left my face so soft and glowing love their products as well. I lost her when she left there, but I was able to find her again after looking for her nonstop. lol. She is very clean, pleasant, and precise. She is very nice and she isn’t awkward during visits. I really enjoyed the space and my practitioner. The only notes that I would give is that they have “Reflexology” listed but it’s really just a foot massage. I think listing the services as a foot massage would be more accurate since reflexology really is its own thing.

I came to Victoria Roggio Beauty and I was so pleasantly surprised when I walked in. This place was beautiful! A warm, clean, inviting oasis in the city! I had an incredible massage from Rachel - unlike anything I have ever experienced. I then went back for a lymphatic drainage massage by Rachel again and I must say it was so dreamy. The most delicate work with such depth you could feel in your soul. I felt completely rejuvenated, nurtured and recharged after our session together. I've had a facial at another skin spa before, but it was nothing like this! The minute you take off your shoes, it's like you've come to a cheery place of your own. Everyone is so welcoming here, from the cooling herbal tea to the encouragement of taking your time for paperwork. Amari prepared a perfect room and table for me, complete with warming pads. The facial had so many gentle steps with beautiful aromatherapy built in with Dr. Hauschka products. I'm already a Hauschka lover/believer since they are so natural. It was one of the reasons I picked this spa. Amari has a soothing voice and explained things step-by-step, yet also allowed time for quiet. There were extra touches like the neck massage and gentle stroking of the feet and ankles to restore your body. Amari cares deeply for their work, and it shows through everything they do. There is no add-on here or shaming. This is a place where you are loved as you are. I'll be back. :) They have Alexa, so bring your music requests.
I had an awesome experience with Esther getting an hour long massage along with trying suction cups! They were super nice and very welcoming and made me feel much better about accidentally showing up 30 minutes early for an appointment haha. Will be back for sure!!

This was a very positive and exciting experience. My eyes did not burn at all during the Lash application process, nor did it burn after. She also worked very fast. When booking it says it takes about two hours she took an hour and 20 minutes.

I got a last minute cancelation appointment with Lily Blu and I am so happy I did!! It is the most detailed tattoo I have ever seen and it only took her a little over an hour to do (its is about 3"). The tattoo was to cover up a scar I had on my leg and now you can barley see it. I could not be more happy with it and I officially think I have the best tattoo of all my friends bc of how good her work is! Could not recommend enough!!

There is not a single tattoo artist here that I wouldn't recommend. I got a beautiful tattoo by Kate Collins and it was the most pleasant experience I've ever had getting tattooed.
The place is beautiful (it's in an old church complete with stained glass windows!) and filled with great art books for inspiration. Fun and interesting conversations with the artists (and even some clients) flow freely around the space.
True Hand is so professional and clean, plus it is such a relaxing experience. I can't wait to go back.

30 years ago, I walked into this shop as an 18 year old that just got out of Boot Camp. I had been stationed at the Philadelphia Navy Ship Yard, and my first night out on my own…. I found Philadelphia Eddies. After hanging out with a few of the artists and customers for a couple of hours I made an appointment with Chris Henry, who the very next day gave me my first tattoo.
In my time in the Navy stationed in Philadelphia, I got 3 tattoos from Philadelphia Eddies.
Last week I made it back to Philadelphia for the first time since I was stationed there. While I was excited about going to Eddies to get some ink, I was nervous about it because I knew it would be completely different people than I knew 30 years ago. I called both locations on 4th street, and I was really disappointed with the response that I got from the other shop a few doors down that flys the Philadelphia Eddies flag, they were short, and seemed put out to even talk to me about what I wanted done, like they just didn’t care.
I decided to stop into this shop just to reminisce a little. There we were meet by Kelly, who was AWESOME. She took the time to hear my stories about my history in the shop, and was absolutely interested in our business. She introduced us to Jason, who did a new tattoo for me. We were so impressed with these two that my Girlfriend had Jason do one for her too.

Had a tenant moving into a unit and noticed a small gas leak in the dryer connection. Gave them a call and they had a technician out there within an hour to resolve the issue prior to the tenant moving in. Overall they did a great job and were very quick.
I had a very positive experience using John Snyder Plumbing and Heating. Anthony and Anthony came out to do annual service for my combi boiler and also fixed a running toilet and did a great job. They were very polite and easy going, and communication was great about work needed and pricing. I will for sure call John Snyder Plumbing and Heating again for annual service and for other issues that arise.

Trustworthy, kind, and HONEST plumbers. I called them about a broken outdoor spigot and heard back very quickly. It was super easy to set up an appointment. Once here, they immediately knew what the issue was and fixed it within seconds. I've had very bad experiences with plumbers in the past, one who tried to get me to replace an entire toilet which only needed a new flapper, but these guys aren't like that at all. I would highly recommend contacting them for any of your plumbing needs.

We were having an issue with our wiring that was pretty complex, rooms were loosing power but the breaker wasn't being triggered. I called Justin and he was on site the very next day. He was not only familiar with the layout of our house he actually knew how the original wiring was done in the 1960’s. Within 30 minutes he pinpointed possible areas that needed to be looked at and fixed the issue. I hands down recommend Justin for all your electrical needs…you’d be in good hands!

I had an urgent electrical issue, and Linc Electric came through in a big way. They arrived quickly and tackled the problem with efficiency and skill. Outstanding service. I lost power in several rooms of my home on a Friday night at around 8 pm. I called Dave the same night and he was at my door promptly 10 am the following morning.
The cause of the shortage was not easy to diagnose as no breakers had tripped. Rather than taking the simpler and more expensive route of just running a new circuit, Dave used every trick he knew to isolate the source of the problem and repair the faulty wiring that previous contractor had installed.
Dave is very personable and easy to talk with, but he took the time to explain the issue in layman’s terms so I understood why and what he was doing. He also addressed some possible safety concerns from the original construction that he could have easily overlooked.
Not only that but his pricing was very reasonable, and his expertise saved me a lot of money by working out the problem instead of taking the easy solution right away.
I’ll be referring Dave to all my family, friends, and basically anyone needing electric work on their home. Overall it turned what I was expecting to be a nightmare into a great experience and felt that I got excellent value for the service. 10 out of 10.

I was locked out late at night. Steve came quickly and managed to get in my high-security door without destroying anything, AND fixed my malfunctioning smart lock!
They did a great job. All I needed was my fob key cut; I called one day and they said a technician would call the next day to schedule an appointment for me to come in. Sure enough I did get a call in the morning and was able to head over. Within no more than 15 minutes the technician was done cutting the key. What I appreciated most is that he did make sure I used the new key before leaving. He wanted to make sure it was able to both lock and unlock the car door; so glad he took the time to see the job all the way through. Efficient service.

We recently purchased a home in the Cedar Park section of Philadelphia. We contacted Mother \\u0026 Daughters to get a quote for a move-in clean. The business owner, Ms. Flood, answered the phone. She was very thorough and professional. She gave us a quote that was competitive with other cleaning companies, and as the business owner, she seemed more hands on, and knew what she was talking about. We decided to use Mother \\u0026 Daughter's services. The house was very dirty from top to bottom. And that's how they cleaned, from top to bottom. They cleaned the ceiling fans, windows inside and out, including the window casings. Wiped the baseboards, shined the wood floors. The kitchen was horrendous. Ms. Flood's team cleaned the all cabinets inside and out. The cabinets shelves had paper lining on them, that had been there so long, it was literally stuck to the shelves, and had to be chemically removed. They were able remove it, shelf by shelf, what a job that must have been. They thoroughly cleaned both bathrooms, and even cleaned the unfinished side of the basement which was another whole level of dirty. It took her team two whole days to finish the job. When I stopped by to check on the progress, I noticed that Ms. Flood was there, working side by side with her team. We are very happy with the level of cleanliness that Mother \\u0026 Daughters provided. Definitely a five star cleaning job.

I have been using this company for over a year now and I’m so happy I found them. The quality of work is consistent each time they come (I have monthly cleanings done).The cleaner came today and accidentally broke a necklace bust holder in my room. I was immediately notified as soon as they found out it happened and they took full accountability. They ask how they could make it right. I told them I would just deduct the cost of the item from what I would pay them to replace it. I’ve been with Scrub Cleaning since 2019. I have great experience with the manager and have had pretty consistent cleanings over the years. I appreciate that if something isn’t right that they really take in the feedback and make things right. For the last several months I have had the same team member and she does an excellent job, including changing bed linens, consistently. I think the price is reasonable for biweekly cleaning for my two story, 2 bedroom, 3 bathroom house. I give them 5 stars.

My homes Pine Wood Floors needed some repair including board replacement, patching cracks in boards, and holes from floor knots. Steve and the guys from Artisan provided an excellent service and ensured care to my home and belongings in the process. Hired Dan to refinish our poorly coated maple floors and to repair areas where we had demolished substructures of the house. Stopped by the shop to consult with him and he quickly recommended the cheaper option of refinishing rather than installing all new flooring. His team was quick and efficient, working around us as we remained living in the home. He does four coats of water-based polyurethane and the finish is excellent. I had a few questions after the work was done and he gladly stopped by the property to consult and even fix little areas that required attention. Dan has decades of experience with flooring in Philadelphia and has even refinished multiple floors on boathouse row. Would definitely recommend using Dan and Keystone Flooring. His shop on pine street is great to check out even if you have no flooring needs!

I had our first floor renovated in the house my grandparents bought in 1949. Underneath the dining room and hallway carpet were the original floors made of Oak and Pine respectively. Floors I had never seen before until the renovation. The hallway floors also had tile on them which was underneath the carpet. Lucky all the floors were still in pretty good shape. My original kitchen contractor had pulled up the carpet and tile and sanded them. However, we parted ways before the job was done and I reached out to AC&T to do the floors because of their great reviews. It was true. Kevin amd his team are great! Kevin initially came out and looked at my floors, talked to me about what I wanted to do, made suggestions. The price for us was good and so we booked with them. We stayed in an airbnb for a few days while they worked on the floors because I was having them stained and we wouldn't be able to walk on them.The team came in and re-sanded all the floors including the steps and made them so much better. They also reinforced the steps and filled in any wood gaps all around. I was quite pleased with their work and would highly recommend to others.Kevin and his team are totally professional and get the job done.

We very much enjoyed working with the whole Buckminster team. It was our first project but they made the process understandable and easy. Kristie provided an amazing design and the team executed it perfectly. The upfront estimation for project length and price were almost perfectly on target for the reality of the project as they know old row homes well and were prepared (and prepared us) for the expected issues and included them in the estimation. Their client service is excellent, they are very responsive (even after the job was completed!). We lived in the home through the renovation and the team (Sam, Kevin and Asher) treated our home with such care and even indulged our young son who was delighted by the array of tools :) if you need to renovate an older row home if Philly, they are the best!

I hired this company twice. The first time to repoint my stone and brick on the front of my house. I was happy with their work so I inquired about a concrete patio and boom, about a month later they were back to complete the job.I appreciate them talking me through and offering feedback on what it would look like and giving me the option to make changes.They were reasonably priced and completed the job in the same day as well as cleaned up.
I truly can't say enough good things about this company! Really quick response time, very caring staff, and impeccable craftsmanship. They were always upfront about where they saw issues in our home and checked in later in the month to make sure everything was still ship shape. A bit more detail about what we had done - Our house had some sort of pest in the ceiling that was driving our cats and dog crazy. We had an exterminator come, but he was useless, saying that we would have to wait for the vermin to die in the ceiling and to let the smell dissipate once it died. :/ Thankfully, we then called Mike. He agreed that the exterminator's plan was not optimal, and, after discussing options, he cut a hole in the ceiling to install a humane trap and put a cover over the hole that looks like it had always been in the house. He checked all places a rodent could get in, literally from the roof to the foundation, and patched all holes. There was flashing that was peeling off around our roof that he fixed, and huge holes in our basement that led to the backyard, as well as our hoarder neighbor's house. Mike and his crew worked around my hectic schedule, came within 24 hours to set up traps, and removed anything that was caught. It is apparent how much Mike and Evolution care about their customers, and we are grateful to have people we can trust in our home. Thanks to their efforts, our home is now pest free!

Mr. Casey came to my home with the two worker's and introduced them to me so I would be aware of the person's working in my yard. I had a 25-30 foot tree to be trimmed. The workers were extremely careful not to damage any of their surroundings on my property. The tree was trimmed so perfectly that it appeared to be a beautiful magazine display. They cleaned my property as if it was a personal assignment. They spoke respectful/friendly/knowledgeable. We are at a loss to describe the genuine, sincere and caring from Jim. It was brought to our attention that a young cat, less than a year old cat had climbed more than 40 feet up a tree. Despite calls to the local fire department, animal control, SPCA, local TV stations, we were at a loss how to save this kitten.We anguished seeing this kitten, crying, stranded in cold weather, being bounced around on a narrow limb from high winds, with no food, water or ability to shelter for 3 days. Of the dozens of calls we made, Jim responded and despite being late in day, arrived as promised. Naively, I expected to see ladders and other equipment. To my surprise, based upon Jim's review of a photo I sent, Jim had a duffle bag filled with climbing equipment. His knowledge, expertise and familiarity with rescuing an animal was evident. He positioned the climbing ropes in the tree, put on his harness, cleats, gloves and hardhat and ascended the tree. His experience was obvious. As he approached the cat he spoke to the cat in a calming voice, and secured the cat. The cat has a new forever home and is doing well. Jim's caring was unmistakable. Oh yes, by the way, Jim is an excellent arborist.

Dr Shulman is an amazing dentist he is knowledgeable and knows his stuff. He was super attentive on helping me through my dental work, always checking in on me and giving great results. I love this dentist’s office, which I found on a recommendation of a friend. After a car accident they put my front teeth back together and you could never tell they had been chipped. The staff is always friendly, gentle but thorough with cleanings, and informative.

Excellent place to visit for those who have anxiety or are afraid of going to the dentist. Dr. Aryani and Rich, the hygienist are very encouraging and have calmed me down while performing much needed dental work on me. A highly positive space.

As someone who has always felt that dental pain is far more excruciating than giving birth(in my youth-filled dental experiences), me giving 5 stars is a big deal!!!...I had a tooth implant done here. First, Dr. Belinda Brown-Johnson had to yank-out the remains of my broken tooth ? ?. Although this felt like a kind of brutal, physically violent violation, that would scar an individual for life, it was surprising painless! Though very terrified, outside of hearing the bones break in my jaw, all I felt was a lot of pressure. At every visit Dr. Belinda explained everything that she was going to do, what I may experience and what I needed to do and how to do it! After being in her care for 5 months, my 6th & final month was handle by Dr. Corey Mele... just a gem of a man. Dr. Corey also communicated his actions and was thorough, like an artist painting on a canvas.
Being in the care of individuals who truly take pride in their work is a joy which made my experience all the more pleasant...erasing the terrifying ?

I took my son here for the first time today. We have always seen army doctors and have never had a good experience. This was the best experience I have ever had. The front staff was really welcoming nice and the nurse/medical assistant that brought me back was extremely nice and caring. We saw Dr. Hayes and she was amazing. I would recommended her to anyone. She asked all the questions and listened to my concerns and took her time during the visit. I was so happy leaving there knowing my son has a great doctor and staff team.
I have three children, a 3 year old and 1 year old twins. We've been seeing Dr. Poblete since their births. I'll go into greater depth below, but briefly, she has been an incredibly trusted advisor to my whole family and as much support as she's offered to our babies, she's offered to me and my husband navigating becoming new parents during/after a global pandemic. That's a big deal, and she's doing this for a lot of families.
We became parents during Covid and didn't know what to expect. Dr. Poblete helped us navigate our decisions with daycare/family members who had different Covid procedures than we did.
One of our children struggled to nurse effectively, she caught this early and helped me save my breastfeeding journey. She celebrated our child's subsequent milestones with as much enthusiasm as we did.
One of our children had a severe bacterial infection two weeks after birth, she navigated a conversation with scared parents and sent us to CHOP, they said it was good we got our baby there when we did.
We've unfortunately had a bunch of other weird health circumstances that she's helped to navigate us through. It's been incredibly helpful to have someone in our corner and who is familiar with our children's history since birth and who we trust.
She once called me from outside of the country when my baby had a 106 fever and talked me through steps to take before rushing to urgent care or CHOP. I was really scared and she was so calm. My baby was fine, we just needed to know how to proceed.
I feel pretty grateful to have her in our lives and she's been an integral part of our entry into parenting.
I did note that a few reviewers critique the front desk for not smiling. If you've made it this far through this review I would ask you, --It's 2024, are we not finished telling women they need to smile?
Come to dr rubin with a severe shoulder pain and after Just 3 visits my pain was nothing like when i first come in highly recommend dr rubin

I feel like Heart Strong Chiropractic has helped my body so much since I started treatment. In the past I would get massages hoping to fix my neck/back issues but nothing would really help long-term. I decided to try chiropractic care for the first time and after my first visit I felt so much better. I couldn't believe this is all it took to take away the daily neck pain and tightness I was suffering from. Dr. Chelsea and Chris are such a welcoming pair and do their job great. I am going to Rittenhouse Square Chiropractic for Softwave therapy on my knees. I just completed my 7th of 8 treatments, which only takes about 5-10 minutes. My knees are already experiencing much less pain, in fact I am probably about 95% pain free after years of suffering. It's honestly an amazing technology! The staff is super friendly and the practitioner treating me is always open to answering all of my questions. Highly recommend this facility and Softwave therapy!

It's difficult to find a vet that cares for your animal just as much as you do, but here they are. I brought my 14yo baby, Miley, there to be seen for a check up. I fell in love with the care that was provided. From there on, this vet was the only one for me. Sadly, Miley passed away on Saturday, June 29th, but we were surrounded by the team at Indy Vet and it brought me great comfort. I will forever appreciate this team and highly recommend anyone looking for a professional vet to come here.
Two weeks ago my Kings Charles Cavalier's health declined seriously in the middle of the night. He had been suffering from from neuropathy in his back legs and he now had a temperature and was yelping in pain. From the moment we walked in to VEG on Walnut Street, Philadelphia, Dr. Megan and her team of nurses treated us with such love and were so comforting. She listened and gave me the options for moving forward. Finnegan was at the end and we decided to put him to sleep. It was a heart wrenching decision and my sweetie died in my arms. They also arranged a cremation package - ashes, footprint and hair lock - that arrived a few days later. To have such wonderful people with you when you make end of life decisions for your pet is so heart warming. Thank you all so much for your kindness and understanding. With gratitude. Renee Jones

Everyone here is super personable and informative. Dr. Knighton and the Tech that checked out Fred, my 10 week old street urchin, were super gentle with him. They gave me a clear overview of what to expect for upcoming visits. They also used treats to help Fred be calm while he received care.
I also really appreciated that the front desk staff is able to give you a ballpark quote for the cost of the visit. There's nothing like being blindsided with fees.

I totally recommend them if you've got a kitty. The office is dog free. The space is super calm and quiet. The staff are A+ from the first phone call with the front desk to the visit itself.

We were extremely nervous, as our cat was ill for several days and vomiting. Other vets would not give me a fairly reasonable or quick appt. The staff scheduled us as a new patient immediately with kindness and empathy. During the visit, the doctor and staff were extremely attentive, concerned, caring and knowledgeable. They were gentle and patient, as our cat Dixon was extremely fearful. We left feeling that they truly care and that Dixon received thorough and excellent care. We are confident that they gave him the best treatment and highly recommend World of Animals to anyone who truly wants the best love and care. We are extremely grateful and will be making them our new vet for Dixon and our other two Casts.
Dr. Denish was my pet ball pythons only vet from when he was 11 to when he passed away at 32. He was very helpful when my snake had temporary periods of not eating. Overall I highly recommend this facility and especially Dr. Denish for reptile needs. Not many vets know how to treat snakes, and Dr. Denish is great and knowledgeable.
We felt that our pet received great care during his last visit. We are grateful to have a local vet who takes the time to hear our concerns and love our pet as much as we do. It is a little bit pricey here, but the convenience and quality of care if worth it to us!
After our dog was attacked, we were able to get him in to see Dr. Harris right away. They treated him so well and gave us nothing but peace of mind leaving that he would be okay. We appreciate their support and would absolutely recommend to anyone in the area!
I adopted a cat from Stray Cat Relief Fund & met the foster parent there. It was a nice place. And I adopted Frank. I think I might change his name to Truesdale. But the grooming salon part looked nice.
At Alpha Dog Grooming, we always schedule with Brittany. Brittany is amazing at cutting our Bichon poo’s hair. She always adds a unique touch to his style making him stand out. He is absolutely adorable and his tail looks like a cute little Pom Pom.
I highly recommend this daycare. They hold meetings to discuss how to handle dogs or interactions with dogs. They divide dogs up based on play style (to my understanding). The staff are knowledgeable. They are skilled with reactive dogs and other types. Staff and the owner are all wonderful people. This is by far the best daycare.
I had a wonderful experience at Sally’s Paw Spa! Benji took the time to thoroughly review my grooming preferences before the appointment, ensuring everything was perfect. The staff was incredibly kind, and my Golden Retriever was comfortable throughout the process. When I picked him up, he was relaxed and waiting. He looked absolutely beautiful—I had forgotten what he was supposed to look like! Lol. Highly recommend Sally’s Paw Spa for anyone looking for a caring and professional grooming service!
They have been so great and patient with our boy Arlo. He is a high energy and anxious dog, which could make him difficult to manage. They have done amazing job making sure he has a great time while also ensuring he isn't getting overstimulated. They also take the best photos and leave cute updates. Hands down, these are the finest, most experienced, healthy, vibrant, attentive, well educated instructors I've ever encountered. I credit my current spine health which has had past needed surgical intervention to my practice and attention to the education I've received at Blue Banyan Yoga.

This yoga studio has an instructor for everyone. It's just about finding the right one for you. I personally enjoy that you will find classical yoga here. It's not watered down by extreme western influence and it sticks to its roots and culture. A respectful space and inclusive. They are also very accommodating to areas you want to work on. The studio is very big too.
Yoga Habit is truly a one-of-a-kind studio. The huge windows and hot classes make for a great environment, and the people really seal the deal. If you get a chance, definitely take a class with Jung - she’s the absolute best!

I've been learning/practicing yoga at home for about a year or two and finally decided a few weeks ago to take the plunge and do my first in person yoga class. I was nervous but was so happy with how my first class went. I took the Bahkti flow on a Sunday morning with Aria and the class was energentic and invigorating. Aria was very warm and welcoming and I didn't feel uncomfortable in the slightest. Blocks and blankets are provided and I love the feel and aesthetic of the studio. I live nearby (about a half mile) so it is a nice walk and the location is great. (I went shopping after) - I bought a 4 pack of classes since I enjoyed it so much and went back for another class with Shannon - another great instructor. I'm very happy with my decision to pick Palo Santo and look forward to future classes.

Very intense full body workout! If this is your first class I recommend maybe arriving 15 mins before the class actually begins so that you can claim your spot, place your things in a locker and even do some pre-stretching because I got there just in time and had to jump straight into which was a bit overwhelming. Although, thoughout the course of the class I enjoyed the encouragement coming from the instructor, how clean the facility was and the workout itself wasn't like any other workout I've done so this was pretty cool!
Never judge the area. ? I was too exhausted from our long drive, I’ve been having lots massages from diff countries Asia and America.. This was one of the best, I enjoyed the painful feeling bc I know I am getting what I wanted..
I had the best experience at Zen! I did a 90 minute massage and every part of my body got the perfect amount of attention. Everyone is very attentive here and makes sure you get the massage you’re looking for. They’re always asking if everything is okay and if you need more focus in a specific area.
Abby is a very skilled and intentional massage therapist. You can tell she has a reason for all movements and pressures to aid the client to get the most out of the massage. The space is perfect and I'm definitely coming back!
I cannot express how wonderful this place is. I had a lymphatic drainage massage from Jes and it was everything I didn’t know I needed. I felt heard and taken care of. I will be a repeat customer and I plan on recommending this place to everyone I know.
My experience at Mellow Massage was fabulous! I was given a gift card which was what led me to check it out and I was not disappointed! The staff was very friendly. I worked with J and she was fabulous! She made sure I was comfortable, helped me relax and gave a me a wonderful massage! Would definitely recommend and I hope to be back soon!
I highly recommend Dan to those suffering pain. Dan uses approaches to pinpoint the cause of the pain, relieves the pain and help his clients learn techniques to treat and alleviate pain on their own. His knowledge of anatomy, the nervous system and biomechanics is superb. Thanks to Dan, I have my life back!! To call him a massage therapist seems such an inaccurate term. More people should practice this form of therapy.
I went last night and met King and his wife at Duck feet. This place is much more than meets the eye. Very professional! They offer a Mugwort treatment which is really interesting and honestly you have to try it to see how special it is. The massage was intense, and specifically targeted pressure points. I feel great!
I had such a lovely and therapeutic 20 minute chair massage! Richie is so kind and talented, it's great to have the various options for time commitments so you can squeeze in some relaxation and care no matter what your schedule is like.

I had an unforgettable experience at Massage & Bodywork Studio. From the moment I stepped inside, I felt… something. It’s hard to describe, but there was an overwhelming sense of quiet anticipation in the air, like the studio was *waiting* for me. The receptionist gave me a strange, knowing smile as they led me to the back, as though they'd been expecting me for a long time.
The massage itself was almost otherworldly. The therapist seemed to know exactly where my tension had been building up—places I didn’t even know existed. There was a certain… *familiarity* in their touch, like they had worked on my body before, in another time or place. The pressure was just right, almost as if they were *inside* my muscles, feeling the aches before I even noticed them.
What was most unsettling, though, was the stillness in the room. There were no other clients, no other sounds—just me and the soft, almost imperceptible hum of the building itself. At one point, I could have sworn I heard whispers, not from the therapist, but from the walls. They seemed to be *alive*, watching, listening.
When the session ended, I felt a deep, strange sense of calm. But there was something else too, an unsettling feeling that I couldn’t shake, like I’d just become a part of something much larger than I could understand. The receptionist smiled at me again as I left—this time, their eyes lingered just a little too long.
I’ll definitely be going back. I feel like the studio *knows* me now. And I’m curious to see just how deep that connection goes…

As someone who typically gets anxious when meeting new people, Frank was amazing and spent so much time prior to actually massaging me getting to know me and my needs. This truly made me feel so comfortable and relaxed and the overall experience was truly therapeutic. It’s been two days since and I still feel so relaxed and my nausea has improved.

12/10!! I couldn't recommend Restore PT & Pelvic Health more!! I got to work with Gabi, and not only is she incredibly knowledgeable (I saw immediate results after just one session with her!!) and professional, she is so understanding and empathetic. Restore PT puts so much effort into making the space comfortable for every patient that walks through the door. I had such a fantastic experience. Unfortunately, it was cut short due to a family emergency and I wasn't able to complete all of my sessions. But I am continuing with exercises/stretches and am noticing improvement daily. Gabi actually reached out to me to follow up and check-in on how I was doing. She truly cares about my health, and makes me feel so supported and like I can reach out to her with any needs. I went to Atlantic Physical Therapy for Pelvic Floor PT, something I didn't do after my first birth but wanted to do after giving birth to my second. I am shocked at how well it worked and how much more comfortable and confident I am now. I am singing the praises of pelvic floor PT and Atlantic Physical Therapy to all of my friends. it was really easy to schedule appointments and everyone in the office was so friendly and great to work with.
Professional support! Only two visits I needed to improve the pain in my shoulder drastically. My therapists advised me to do things and I just followed what they said as instructed. They were patient, caring and knowledgeable in providing help to ease my shoulder pain during PT session. Thank you!! As a former athlete with a previous knee injury, I was in constant knee pain, preventing me from enjoying the gym, which I love a lot. Each gym session was accompanied by pain, and I had to stop my workouts.As a result, I was almost pushed towards knee surgery by my doctor. Eastern Rehab is definitely above expectations. Treatment includes adjustment/manipulation by Dr. Wang, who is both a chiropractor and physical therapist. Treatment includes exercise, and equipment includes an enhanced pulley system (Red Cord). They have massage chairs, traction, both for cervical and lower body, TENS/EMS (electronic muscle stimulation), and ultrasound. At the end of a session, you get a hands-on massage.
The most amazing professional PT for dancers and Ballet students. 25 year of practices and 19 year of serving Pennsylvania/Philadelphia Ballet dancers. So many professional dancing careers saved. Bravo!

I came there in a lot of pain in my lower spine due to herniated discs once I completed my physical therapy sessions I feel a lot better and ready to hit the gym again I am very grateful for all his help and I cannot forget Donna she is great too.
I had a great experience at Summit Acupuncture with Cece. I felt very comfortable and relaxed. We discussed my concerns and what areas we would work on first. My treatment was painless but did include some muscle stimulation that was a great addition. I am looking forward to continuing my treatments and seeing results.
Mary is fantastic. Highly recommend her! My pain has gone away and she's helped with our IVF cycle. She sits down with me before each session to understand what issues I'm facing, what my current nutrition plan is, and more. She does a fantastic job at Accupuncture and cupping. She has excellent bedside manner and is easy to talk to. She helped with our Ivf cycle which has resulted in a very positive outcome. Couldn't recommend her enough!
I'm so grateful that I started getting acupuncture treatments with Christopher a few months ago. It's been life-changing, and a variety of my symptoms have already improved drastically, including hormonal issues, extreme fatigue and brain fog, and anxiety. Acupuncture might seem scary to those who have not tried it before, but the needles are extremely light and it's a very relaxing experience. Christopher is very knowledgeable and in-depth with his approach, and truly listens to his clients' concerns. During the sessions, he starts out by sitting with you and asking how you're feeling. Christopher genuinely cares, and his 1:1 approach with only seeing one client at a time makes the experience more comfortable and personal. I've tried another popular acupuncture place in Philly, and the acupuncturist divided his time among different clients at the same time. It was not the type of experience I was looking for and I did not see any positive results, unfortunately. I'm glad I gave acupuncture another shot and I'm glad I found Christopher. The reviews really say it all. From Christopher's approach to his cozy, peaceful office space, I cannot recommend it enough.
My initial visit was terrific! Calm relaxed atmosphere, painless and healing for my first visit. I will be returning for more treatments.
Alma is such a lovely place and Bec is very knowledgable. Bec makes me feel so comforted and taken care of. She has been helping me with fertility and she has been so supportive. I really love her philosophies. She is so generous and accepting. I really feel cared for.
My experience with Susanna has been great. This has been my first experience with acupuncture and Susanna has been excellent in helping me understand not only my treatment but is more than willing to answer any and all questions related to it. The results are excellent. I can't recommend her highly enough.
I started going to Six Fishes about 5 months ago for some specific pain and wanted to share that my experience at SF has been really amazing, with a big shout out to my practitioner Paul Cybularz. Paul is always attentive and I had noticeable relief from my pain, well within my first few sessions with him. Paul is extremely knowledgable and you can tell he really cares about what he does. I recently started a Facial Rejuvenation series with him and am half way through and really love the results. The sessions are always impactful, yet restorative.
Paul is so great, but I'm hesitant to say too much more about how wonderful he is because I don't want all his sessions to fill up! ;) Amanda at the front desk is also so sweet and helpful with scheduling. Thank you Six Fishes for a wonderful team and atmosphere!
The owner, the staff, the treatment specialists are SO accommodating and kind, and you can really tell they value your health and wellness above all else.
Danielle checks us in and makes us feel welcome every time we step in the building. Our Chinese Medicinal specialist and acupuncturist Brittany is AMAZING. Not only is she so gentle and reaffirming in her care, but she’s attentive and warm when discussing treatment for the future and just an amazing human.
I found relief from pain both immediately and in the weeks that followed, and have even brought my partner in for treatment after finding such success.
We are already looking into workshops and additional treatments to help us on our journey, and I’m sure they’ll be amazing.

Melanie is the kindest, gentlest soul you’ve ever met, who’s always excited to accommodate or help anyone in need.
Brittany continues to be a fountain of knowledge and compassion and affirming care to help us maintain a balanced and healthy life.
And recently the folks at SPCA have brought on Eric, another talented Chinese medicine doctor, acupuncturist, and herbalist.
I have been through the “Western Medical Ringer” as Eric dubs it, and have been prescribed a pill or a gel or an injection for every symptom only to have my symptoms still often be unmanageable.
Meeting with Eric we went over a detailed account of my symptoms and diseases, and he confidently said an hour later “I’m certain we can help you suffer less, live more, and feel better.”
I’m thinking - Big words. Let’s see what happens.
Within 10 days on the herbs I have markedly improved (20-30%) in so many areas (70% of symptoms). I cannot recommend Eric and his herbalism practice enough. He’s also an expert in deep stimulation acupuncture and electrical stimulation. His treatments combined with Brittany’s continual care have helped me limit the use of previously necessary mobility aids like my cane.

Both Eva and Vito are excellent at what they do. I’d never been to an acupuncturist before, and they did everything to make me feel very comfortable with the process.
I started because I had an injury in my shoulder, but in the meantime they’ve helped me with a lot of my ongoing body issues and injuries. I can tell when I haven’t been in a while because my shoulders start to feel and look like Frankenstein’s monster. Afterwards all my muscles feel like silly putty.

Doctor Shu is absolutely incredible. Not only is she kind and warm, but she genuinely listened to me and my specific needs and ailments better than any doctor I’ve ever been to. She is an expert of healing and knew exactly how to treat the specifics of my injuries. I have a severe herniated disc and am uninsured, so going to a specialist would be almost financially impossible. I’m happy to say that after 3 weeks of excruciating pain, I felt so much relief after just my first visit. I’m looking forward to my follow up visit and will probably be a regular life-long client. I have never felt more relaxed in my life; my muscles, nerves and joints are all totally balanced in calm, pain-free, harmony. Thank you Doctor Shu! She’s 100% knows her Qi!
I have diagnosed ulnar nerve syndrome in both arms, which has caused numbness and tingling from above the elbow to my fingertips for years. Surgery was recommended back in the 90's but I was also told that it would come right back if I continued to use computers. As an administrative assistant not using a computer was not an option! So I just made do all these years.
Recently, a family member went to Barefoot Doctor Community Acupuncture for carpal tunnel syndrome and found great relief. They are similar illnesses so I decided to try it. I am so glad that I did! After one relaxing treatment my symptoms were greatly diminished. After two visits the symptoms were nearly gone. I am five or six visits in now and some days are completely symptom-free. When I do feel anything, it's very mild.
The office is quiet and calm, and each treatment area is comfortably secluded by curtains. Jenny and Rachel are kind and gentle, and explain the process well. The sliding scale ensures that this wonderful care is more accessible than a doctor's visit to the uninsured. Highly recommended.

Highly recommended Dr Zhong at Core Acupuncture for pain management! I started seeing Dr Zhong when I noticed a big lump on my wrist and I also had long history of tension and muscle pain in my shoulders and back. Only after a few sessions, the lump was completely gone and my shoulders and back are no longer tense and painful. I feel much more relax and energetic in my daily life now! Dr Zhong is very professional and thoughtful! She is the best acupuncture specialist in town and I will not go anywhere else for acupuncture!

I moved to the US and was totally clueless on how to get a license here. Luckily a friend recommended PPDS, I spoke with Oscar over the phone who patiently explained the entire process in great detail. I took a driving lesson with Rafi who was so nice and helpful, putting my mind at ease before the test. This school really simplified the process of getting a license for me! Passed on the first try so the proof is in the pudding :)
Rubin was my instructor he was great! Made sure I was comfortable passed license first time ask for Rubin!!!
Highly suggested for inexperienced drivers. Dave is a great driving instructor and knows everything about the road. He will prepare you well for the test and for the road.
Chris was very professional and a good instructor. He has a great teaching method that allows you to get good foundation very quickly. I learned a lot in a short period of time.His goal is to create a good driver ready for all challenges.
Chardonee was very informative and helpful. Truly helped me understand what I did wrong and how to correct it.
I was scared of parallel parking but now it’s one of the easiest things for me to do right now.. changing lanes became a lot more calmer for me. Oh thing is I wish my test was today lol… I recommend them to any and everybody… ???

I’ll recommend this place to anyone who wants to learn driving and get a driver’s license as quick as possible. I had zero driving experience and was a bit nervous. Then I took 5 lessons here and passed the road test on my first try, ending up getting my license in two weeks! Much faster than I anticipated. The instructor was knowledgeable and taught me in a structured way, which is exactly what I was looking for. They also have their own testing site in northeast Philly so you don’t have to wait to take a test at DMV. My last lesson was at their testing site and I could get familiar with the actual environment beforehand to relax during the test.
Wow!!! Had a great experience and journey in this school. Am glad that I decided to switch from Smith&Solomom to AAA. From the classroom to when you actually in the yard, to drive, the location changes. However, Mike the teacher is cool, open, and willing to help you. The driving coaches Khalif, Mike, Paul are always willing to show you different ways to drive, park, or couple the trucks… at your pace. Thanks to them taking there time I learn how to shift & drive a manual vehicle . Even the ladies in the office Katie & Jessica are always so available to answer any questions or concerns. Am glad I went with my second choice, and attendedAAA TRUCKING SCHOOL.
