McFarland Tree Service did some major tree work for us a few years back. We chose them after getting a few quotes and consulting with other companies b/c Peter McFarland was very knowledgeable and interested in preserving the character of our beautiful trees just like we were. He continues to be a great source of support when in comes to hardscaping and landscaping. They were competitive on price, respectful, courteous and on time. My neighbor was having her tree trimmed by McFarland last week. I stepped outside my house to ask one of the workers for advice on how I should go about removing a very large dead branch from one of my own trees. The worker showed me where I'd need to make the cut. I thanked him for the advice and went back inside my house. An hour later I opened my front door to discover that McFarland had removed and taken away the branch for me. They didn't even bother to tell me or stick around for a thank you or a tip--they just did it because they were decent human beings. If I ever need a tree trimmer, I know who I'll be calling. Thank you, McFarland!
