Russ and the guys replaced both of my (very old) systems on the hottest days of the year two weeks ago. They worked from sun up to sundown that day — without complaint and minimal breaks.
The new systems are so good we’re running them about half as much as the old but the house is colder than it’s ever been.

“I needed a new water heater. Tidal Plumbing sent a plumber and assistant. The process of disconnecting the old heater, removing it, installing and upgrading the pipes, and installing the new heater was seamless. They kept me advised throughout the whole process, during which they put down drop-cloths to protect the floor from dirt/damage. Very mindful of the property while they worked. Very thorough and efficient in their work, but friendly as well. Answered any questions I had and explained when they were going to do anything e.g. shutting off water, turning on faucets. Tidal Plumbing is tech savvy. Got email alerts confirming work scheduled with a ballpark time slot. Received texts when they were almost there. Used photo features to show work and progress to MP which saved so much time.“

Jacob arrived on time (This company will text you a reminder of the date and time several days in advance and then as the rep arrives) Jacob diagnosed the problem, fully explained the solution and gave us a written estimate. “A new boiler was installed. From Josh Benjamin and Mary in the office to the service technicians, the work was completed in a very professional and knowledgeable manner. They were extremely concerned with our concerns and well being since it was cold out. I would highly recommend them.“

“I called Latty's to get my building's gas turned back on because there was a leak detected in one of the apartments and, as a precaution, Con Ed had shut off gas to the entire building. Ian came out himself to assess the job, described to me what he'd need to do, and the time frame necessary to get materials and complete the job. Within a day or two I had a quote. Latty's started a few weeks later. The job itself was pretty involved. Plumbers from Latty's came out on multiple occasions to do work, including a mandatory asbestos inspection, remove the original meters, lower the riser to meet new code, install new meter bars, valves and plumbing, check and recheck for leaks, and make tweaks to the system as required by Con Ed. They CC'd me so that I could view the updates from Con Ed as they went back and forth to ensure the work met the new city code. Throughout this, they were professional and competent. Not only the plumbers themselves, but also Latty's office support staff were helpful in completing the process and answering my questions. The end result was that the city, and then Con Ed, came out to inspect and gave the building the greenlight for gas turn on. Latty's gave me dates in advance, and a representative from them was present on each occasion.

Before settling on these guys, I was in the wild for a bit trying to find plumbers who knew what they were doing. Once the job started and I saw their work, I knew the job would get done. It was a relief. I plan to call on them again for any future plumbing/HVAC needs.

It just so happened my expansion tank on my water heater failed, and Mike was quick to come out first thing on a Monday morning to swap out the tank. He was then able to quote me for the Leak Defense install labor. Mike and Andrew did the install and calibration in about 3 hours. The final bill was exactly as the quote.
