“I recently had a very favorable experience working with Clover Heating and Oil in resolving an issue with the oil-fueled boiler for the steam radiators at my property at 38 Longview Ave., White Plains, NY, 10605. The boiler was shutting off after brief periods of operation, and replacement of several parts of the pump yielded no long term solution. Clover Owner Anthony Marmo at this point thought outside of the box and consulted with manufacturers of the unit to learn of an unusual but occasional occurrence of Seized Fuel Units. Clover installed an additional and redundant filtering device, and the boiler now works perfectly. Throughout my work with Anthony, with Bridgette and Samira of the dispatching staff, and with Alex and Manny, the on-site technicians, I found Clover to be prompt, responsive, expert and patient in explaining and solving the issues and deciding the courses to take. “I have a 1912 Home with a lot of old piping. The water intake pipe coming up from the basement floor was leaking badly. Had the Water Company turn off at the street. Called four Plumbers. Three would not work on it after pictures/description was given over the phone.The 4th came out and also would not attempt a repair. All said piping is too old, cant be saved, new line has to be run from the street. The next Plumber I called was Fabian, Angler Plumbing. He said he would come out the next day and take a look. After arriving and examining, he also stated it was an old pipe and may disintegrate when worked on, but he would try to remove the inner rusted pipe to use the connector for the new line.He worked on it till the old pipe was removed. Threaded in all new brass connectors and copper pipe, with shutoff valves. He really knows his stuff. He also knows how to do it right, and doesn't shortcut things.He's done all the jobs that I've asked him to do and while working on a job, if he sees something that doesn't look right or thinks it should be replaced he'll point it out and provide options. His pricing is fair, and he does great work and stands behind it. I feel like he treats every job as if it was his own house, I think he takes great pride in his work and it really shows. During that time they have responded same day to emergency calls, serviced heating systems and appliances, replaced water heaters and repaired leaks.Recently I made the mistake of using a _different_ local plumber who was top rated on Google reviews. That plumber made errors in repairing my gas heating system which ultimately led to a gas leak in the house. They came out 3 times to try and resolve it, and were useless.I called Cross County who quickly identified and fixed issues with my gas line. I cannot stress enough the level of professionalism and diligence they demonstrated in the repair.They are not the cheapest, but the work done is of a uniformly high standard. We were very pleased with the entire service provided by Flotechs, from the initial call until the workmen walked out the door. The job was arranged and completed within several days after the first contact. The customer communication was exemplary: status emails right down to a heads up call from the plumber as he was nearing our apartment - on the date and at the time agreed to.
