“I did a 6-month program with Plasse and grew my strength more than I ever have in any class or at the gym. Dennis is thoughtful, kind, and paces everything well. Especially when you are new to heavy lifting like I was, it can seem intimidating at first, but Dennis breaks down every movement. And if you have been lifting for years, he will be equally great because he is a powerlifter and knows how to maximize potential. The environment is private and intimate - just a couple trainers and clients at a time. Highly recommend!“

“Amy at RB Fitness is the literal best! I’ve been training with her for about 2 months and it’s been bittersweet! She’s someone who pushes you and motivates you to keep aspiring toward your goal. She’s genuine and personable which is why I would recommend her to anyone who asks me where and who I work out with. “If you're looking for training from extremely professional and well-rounded/extremely knowledgeable Instructors... then this is the place you want to be at. They not only train you to hone in on your skills, but the environment they actively create is very caring... it's more than just a business.. even my classmates give off more of a family vibe than the typical closed off competitive vibe and I'm truly grateful for having found NUBREED. “I met David a few years ago at another gym, where he was a personal trainer. I decided to try out one of his group classes and was impressed at his expertise in fitness. When David opened up his own gym, I decided to try my first personal training session for a few reasons: 1. I stopped going to the gym where I first met David. 2. I put on weight and was not feeling good about the way I looked or felt and 3. A close friend of mine trained with him and was seeing great results. Each session with David is unique. He provides a different workout each time catered to my specific needs and goals. He knows when to raise the weight I'm working on, and he makes sure my form is correct. A few times while working out I've felt a pain in my knee and my back and David was able to tell what caused the pain and would explain how to alleviate it. Working out with David has made me feel more confident, made me stronger and each session is fun. I would recommend David if you're looking for a trainer who is knowledgeable in fitness and nutrition, cares about your needs, motivates you, and makes working out fun.“

“Live Fit studio is a great place to train. I have been training there for 3 years, lost 20 lbs & now eat healthy most of the time. John wants me to eat healthy all the time ☺. He challenges me in the work-outs & always promotes mental positiveness, Both John & Lucas are as professional as it gets. The studio is spotless and there are never more than 2 people training at one time. If you want obtain Healthy success this is the place !!“

“Strong is a great gym with great teachers. I have been taking the adult kickboxing classes for over a year and I love it! The gym provides a safe, friendly atmosphere and it is amazing what a great workout you get in one hour! Students range from 16 to 60, men and women.I had worked out in other ways over the years but had never done kickboxing before. It is definitely challenging at first but in 2-3 weeks, you get in the groove for both the conditioning and the kick-boxing parts. And it's way more fun than programs like Orange Theory or just lifting weights.I highly recommend Strong Martial Arts. It really is a great workout option for all skill levels.“

“Cool space in Washington heights. My favorite classes are booty burn! You really feel the burn and Janela helps you focus on your glutes and emphasizes muscle connection and the importance of stretching to allow blood flow in to grow glutes. I've learned a lot from her bc I started with wanting to grow my glutes and my family now has noticed! Canela class is also awesome I love the vibes there with the music, I feel like I'm at the club and it's always packed and his workouts are super challenging and he always works with you to reach a potential you didn't know you had ether increasing the weights or motivating you. I also enjoy max classes she always changes it up which I love since I don't get tired of doing similar workouts as she always comes up with creative new exercises. Lastly it's safe to say I've taken almost every class, I like Gina's class also for upper body as I feel more strong in my arms and toned and you really feel the burn for her upper body. Acai bowls are good here too!“

“I've been attending Zor's classes for over 10 years. He is a wonderful teacher and trainer. His classes usually combine strength training exercises with free weights and some equipment, as well as floor core body exercises along with interval aerobics. The reason I like going to his studio so much is that the space is the opposite of a soulless large sports club atmosphere. The classes are usually 8-9 people, and the way he encourages those who attend, no matter the level of conditioning, creates a real sense of camaraderie and a positive vibe. If you are looking for a total body workout at an affordable rate, this is definitely the place to be.“
