I chose Andresen Prosthodontics to take me through the process of a full mouth restoration. Dr Alison was wonderful and way beyond my expectations. It is important for patients to know that Andresen Prosthodontists are the only such service in Reno that has their own in-house lab and make their prosthesis themselves. The final teeth that Dr Alison made for me were absolutely perfect and look exactly like real teeth. I could not be happier! The whole practice is 5 Star, including the Office Staff & Dental Assistants. The staff were so wonderful to me, and it showed that they love working there. Such a great environment!

Just got back from my appt and I’m SO HAPPY with the results. Gabby you are AMAZING!!! She took her time explaining and recommending products that would work for my hair. She was so gentle and had no problem hearing out my concerns and input.
I was able to show her some inspiration pictures and she was able to give me just that! Definitely will be coming back to get some color done as well.
Side note: I love how she was also able to accommodate a private appt. I observe the hijab, and needed to have a space where there wouldn’t be any men around. She went above and beyond to make me feel comfortable!

Last week I had the absolute pleasure of seeing curly hair specialist Meg and I was very happy with how the first time curl coaching and cut/wash service went!Pros:-Meg is very knowledgeable and wants to ensure you know why/how to style your curls during the service.-Take home an after curl "how-to" guide to understand how to keep your hair healthy and styled.-She is otherwise a very friendly and open-minded person with great communication skills.Cons: None!I was SO happy with the service. THE BEST SALON EVERRR!!! i cannot say enough good things about this salon. i came in for the first time to get my hair which was dyed brown (professionally) back to bright blonde. i found Maddie (double points for having a cool matching name to me ?) on instagram and told her my hair history and she was able to book me for a consultation and color correction very quick! she was super flexible in changing my appointment when i couldn’t get out of the house due to snow, and when i finally got in i was pleasantly surprised. she was able to correct my hair to a blonde in one sitting without compromising the health of my hair or too much length. and because i had previously colored hair there was some banding, which she gladly fixed the next day for me for no cost! the whole service only took about 4.5 hours and i have THICK hair ?? as you can see in the photo below. Maddie still does my hair and it always looks perfect, isn’t crazy expensive, and is great to talk to. all the staff is AMAZING, all the stylists are super sweet and same w the owner. they create such a welcoming environment. i love going to get my hair done and she always makes me feel stunning. the photos are before and after, and then how many foils were in my hair. GO TO CALIBER SALON!! you will not be disappointed

I was parked near the entrance waiting on a friend to take care of business in the area and witnessed two people come out of this barber lounge looking extra crispy. That means I have no words for how amazing they looked. Later I went in to make a purchase of hair lotion or whatever he sold in order to use the restroom and he let me use his restroom for free! Amazing Tan! I’ve had the best experience with Erica and her tans. I had her do my wedding tan and it turned out absolutely gorgeous and lasted the entire day plus days after. I'm new to town and came to yelp looking for a hand sprayed tan for some upcoming photos. I'm not new to spray tans and know what I'm looking for. Brandi was amazing! She was very responsive when I texted her with a question, was on time, professional and kind. Her studio is in a super cute little house in a lovely neighborhood. I didn't feel unsafe at all, which is nice when you're visiting somewhere new. She also sends out VERY thorough preparation instructions after you book. I did the regular tan, for $40 (plus tip) where you can shower after 8 hours, but I waited 10. My tan is 4 days old and going strong. Very pleased! Will definitely return. Thanks Brandi!

My daughter has suffered from ingrown toenails for the last few years. Her latest ones were not healing and she was in pain. I reached out in the Reno Community facebook group and that's how I met Michelle. Her obvious knowledge and desire to help educate assured me I'd found my gal! She gave me the name of a podiatrist, they got us in same day, he did a quick snip snip and she was on the road to recovery. We saw Michelle two weeks later for a pedicure and she was a wealth of helpful knowledge in keeping feet & toes healthy and natural. My daughter finally has pain free, beautiful toes and now the know-how on how to maintain them. Thank you Michelle!!!

I love Mee Lu. I will be going back for waxing. She made my ugly toes look beautiful and gave me a manicure for a professional woman. Did I mention the chairs and the music? OMG. It is heaven. The other women there were just as happy as I was to be there too. Mee Lu is as sweet as the day is long. She is worth the money and the time to go for the pedicure and the gel manicure.
Laura is a hidden gem in a sea of bad manicures. She was professional, friendly and accommodating. Never felt like she was rushing to get me out of the chair, and you can tell she genuinely loves what she does. I only wish you could see her work on someone other than me, since I have completely destroyed my cuticles over the year.
I've been going here for about 2 years and as a guy, it was weird at first to go get my nails done. Jenes made me feel like it wasn't weird at all and now I realized that it was a stupid assumption to begin with. Now I happily get my manis and pedis done with the most flamboyant or fun colors and combos. I have been a client of Creative Nails for several years now and I have never known a nail technician as skilled as Lisa is. She is a one woman shop so she stays pretty busy and yet I've never had to wait more than a few minutes for my appt. I used to go there just for pedicures and now I go for manicures & polish as well. She utilizes her time wisely and she is fast because she knows her craft so well. She is very meticulous and always does a beautiful job. She offers a wide range of services and her prices are very fair. It's always so nice to go there since it's just you and her and you're not having to absorb a cacophony of other people's conversations. Go there! You won't be disappointed. Even my husband has enjoyed her pedicures!

She was really receptive to changes I wanted to make after my trial (not saying the trial wasn't good because it was! I just don't wear makeup a lot so didn't know how to instruct her to start), and absolutely knocked it out of the park for the wedding. I felt so beautiful all night and everything lasted perfectly!
Both moms were a little nervous to get their makeup done (one even prepared to redo it herself in case it was too much) but both were so happy with the final result! She does a great job making sure the makeup reflects "you".

She was confident that she could give me the chocolate, caramel color I wanted while maintaining the length & strength of my hair. Our first time here, and I came into this knowing it wasn't going to have a lot of amenities compared to other resort spas, but I was still impressed! The staff were very friendly and very professional, they were fantastic! The food section at the bar was very limited, but the drinks were delicious! My massage was AMAZING, one of the best in my experience (Body in Balance), it was very relaxing for me. The facility itself is gorgeous! The aesthetic and ambiance were awesome, but a couple weird things I noticed: plants were all fake, so that ruined the aesthetic, it was kind of weird. Second, the sign said there were jellyfish but there weren't any jellyfish? A bit disappointing. Another thing about the facility, there were no gates surrounding the outer perimeter, so while we were relaxing by the fire outside and in the hot tub, a random man (not a spa guest) had walked really close to all the guests, which was very uncomfortable since we're just in robes and bathing suits. I will say, the second we saw him, the staff was already outside watching him as well.

I absolutely loved my experience, Roselin is absolutely fantastic. She’s so easy-going easy to talk to actually cares and ask you details about what you want and really will tell you the truth. If she thinks something’s gonna be too hard or what you can do to upkeep. It should make sure you don’t touch your lashes with your fingers. She’s all around just fantastic. We won a hair and makeup session at an event during the summer, which expired at the end of the year. My husband thought it would be a fun treat for our daughter experience and found the perfect event to use it for: school Christmas performance. I exchanged emails with Rosa to set up our appointment and she was very kind to accommodate our request for a 9 year old. She asked for inspirational photos to get an idea of what we wanted beforehand. Luckily it was in our neighborhood, which made it easier to coordinate for the performance day. When confirming, Rosa asked to push our appointment a little later but it still worked out perfectly timing-wise. She had her own private suite for her customers among other stylists in the building. It was comfy with holiday music playing and I got to sit in and watch her do her magic. She was great working with my daughter and understood that she didn't need to overdo the makeup portion. My daughter had a fun experience and felt so special dressed up for her performance. Hoping that we could use Ross for our next special occasion.
Sarah did one half of the bridal party for our wedding day and we all looked fantastic! Sarah was apart of the bridal party joining in on jokes and laughter, helping us achieve a chilled wedding morning. What an incredible clean shop filled with talented artist who aren't full of themselves and go above and beyond. I showed up as a walk in, straight of the bat I was greeted warmly by Nik who ended up being the artist who did my tattoo. Everyone in the shop was so personable and kind while also being professional and thoughtful with the whole process (which was so quick and easy!) This is my second visit to Reno and have stopped both times at Absolute Tattoo to get work on my arm. The environment was clean and friendly. They were able to get us in the next day for an appt. Nico did a wonderful job on my rose and quote, worked to blend it in with the style of my previous peony done by Dan. Nico took his time, asked for feedback, and was patient when I wasn't sure about where to put my quote. He was a pleasure to work with, and his artistry skills are fabulous. This tattoo also didn't hurt as much as previous tats I've had... he was gentle and a great guy! Best wishes to Nico, his wife and new son! Thanks so much love my new tattoo!

How does this shop have less than a 5 star rating? Brian Chambers designed a sleeve for me and has finished most of it this past winter. He is an incredible artist and well worth the wait. I am happy I waited to get in to see him considering the quality and attention to detail he has. The artwork he did for me is beyond my wildest expectations. Watching him work and bring the sleeve to life over the many sessions was such a cool experience. I have met and visited with many of the other artists there. All good folks. I am lucky to have such an excellent team of artists just blocks from my house. I could go on and on, but if you are getting color work, large pieces this is the place to go. The overall vibe of the shop is exactly what I was looking for. Private, clean and conveniently located. Jolie was very helpful with booking and getting me in as well. Appreciate her help. Brian is all about his art though. Once he gets going it is really impressive to watch him work. After watching him lay out the stencil I had complete confidence in the project he was undertaking. I look at the sleeve from time to time and keep noticing different shading, lighting, color that he took the time and effort to put into my sleeve. Make sure and tip these folks well as they are definitely worth it!!!

I had a 4pm appointment with Joe for a design from a book series. He was ready when I arrived at my appointment time. He was extremely thorough and made sure to have me look at font options, size, and placement of my design until I was 100% satisfied.
I explained that I have a dysautonomic disorder that causes me to faint easily, so he made sure I was able to lay down and keep my feet elevated to avoid my blood pressure dropping. He turned on a movie and music for entertainment while he worked on my arm.
My husband and son were getting hungry, and he referred them to the taco place across the street. He checked in on me frequently, and when I said I needed to eat, we took a break and I grabbed some tacos.
He carefully monitored my fainting condition and made sure I didn't get up too quickly and stayed hydrated.
Through no fault of his, I did end up passing out during the cleanup process; but Joe was quick to respond and offered me water, some sugar to bring my glucose levels up and a garbage can in case I puked.
The shop is clean, sanitary, well lit, and easy to find. I did book my appointment a month in advance, but there were other artists who were in the shop who could have taken walk- ins.
When my appointment was finished, my husband's turn came. He also wanted work from a book series, and was extremely happy with his experience as well.

He helped guide me in determining my options for my particular circumstances. He followed up and I am very happy with the service they provided, the quick response and the way they do business. I have used this company on several occasions at different locations, each time they are on time, finish the work in record time, and don't leave any mess, I do a lot of remodeling, but prefer using a professional plumber. Don't scared when they advise you about charging for travel time etc, they actually have very reasonable fees. Total professionals.
I had Mark and his team install a tankless water heater on my vacation home in Incline Village. The team was on-time, efficient, and informative. They did a great job removing the old water heater and installing the new tankless one. When I was looking to get bids on the project, Mark was the only one that took time on the phone to really understand my needs and come up with a solution that is working well. I would definitely use them again for my next plumbing project.
Really, really great service. Broke my shower handle Monday afternoon. Within 24h they were here, fixed it with parts on board and had gone on their way. They take credit cards and my dogs liked them. So if you get a doggie seal of approval, you certainly get mine.
I had an old sewer line that needed to be rooted and eventually replaced. I called three companies within a span of a few weeks to clean out the roots. AJ told me that for some reason the other companies had not fully cleaned out the line, which is what I had already suspected based on the camera footage of the line the other companies showed me and the fact that the sewer kept backing up. However, the old line was ceramic pipe from the 40s and def needed to be replaced. All three companies gave me quotes to replace the line, and Rooter Bee’s was definitely the best value. They were very efficient and trustworthy. I was impressed by the quality of their work and professionalism. I highly recommend their plumbing services!

I called True Blue on a Sunday and someone was able to come out by Monday morning. I got to work with Antonio and he was fantastic. I had a leak from my upstairs shower that was dripping into my kitchen below. Antonio was able to get to the bottom of it quickly, showed me video evidence of why he was recommending the repair, as well as the cost estimate. Everything came in at budget and he finished in a timely fashion. I would highly recommend True Blue!

Wiley’s Plumbing replaced our 50-year-old oil-fired furnace with an efficient natural gas heater/air conditioner unit in the crawl space under my house almost two years ago. Jay and his crew did a great job installing it, including cutting up and removing the old furnace from a very small space. And to top it off, later that year when we lost power for 5 days in January (from heavy rain and snowstorms) and had no heat, Jay again showed up late at night so we could at least have heat. He brought a generator, stripped down to his underwear and crawled (swam?) under my house with 10” of standing water in the freezing cold. He plugged the furnace into his generator so we could have heat and got my sump pump running again to get the water out of the crawl space. He really went the extra mile for me and my family and we’ll be forever grateful! We actually called him a few days ago (it’s July in the current heat wave) to thank him for our air conditioner, and how nice it’s been, after not having AC for the last 30 years!
I live in an area with tree roots and many other reasons to create a sewer stoppage ,,,, their water blaster is great and can reduce the added worry of un fixable stoppage. They do there best to accomodate you. An excellent value for your money.

Had a problem with an outlet in the Kitchen when installing a new dishwasher. The good Doctor suggested I try a couple of things and, sure enough, got it working. No need for a visit.
Had an issue with breaker panel. Called several companies and while nothing was wrong with them, only Joe actually talked me through some basic principle of troubleshooting and in the process, not only fixed my issue, but saved me at least $500! For that, over a phone help, I am truly grateful! Will use honest electricians like Joe again!
Best electrian we’ve ever used on a project! Troy is ethical, knowledgeable, hard working, and his quality of work is amazing. We bought an 45 yr old house that needed a lot of work. Troy Thomas and his employee Robert were fantastic. We needed to rewire the HVAC system, wire for GFCI switches, and put in overhead lighting with dimmers & multiple switches. He not only gave us great suggestions regarding the new lighting and placement of switches, but he also had to repair work done from the previous owner. Troy completed all the work professionally and we will definitely call on him for any future electrical work we need done.

IME is my go to electrical contractor. Their staff both in the field and office is superb! Their ability to budget a concept without drawings is a great benefit. The execution of the project is alway on schedule or ahead of schedule.
I highly recommend Marin Appliance repair. Our ice maker quit producing ice cubes and a repair man came out the next day and diagnosed the problem and returned the following day with a replacement part. They sent a text with a picture and name of the repair man prior to our appointment and arrived on time. We especially appreciated getting a senior discount! It's nice to have a reputable repair company we can rely on if we need another appliance repair.

Kenny and his crew are everything you want in a flooring contractor. They performed all of the demolition to remove the flooring that we were replacing including baseboards. Leveled the floors to ensure that the new LVP flooring perfectly matched the existing tile. The installation of the LVP is perfect, seamlessly flowing from room to room. When I changed direction on one aspect of the project, Kenny took care of everything, which was a great relief as we are updating our retirement home remotely. If it was possible to give Kenny and his crew more than five stars I absolutely would. He will be my first choice for any future flooring needs and recommend him to everyone.
After talking to several companies and getting several estimates to have my floors refinished, I chose Santos because he had a fair estimate and was an easy person to talk to. I planned to have him do the floors while I was out of town so it was important that I had all my questions answered before I left. Mine is an older house and had a hole covered with plywood in the hallway that used to be the cold air return. Santos not only refreshed my floors but wove in wood to cover the cold air return in such a way that no one would ever realize it hadn't been part of the original floor. I am so pleased with the work he and his crew did. My house looks so much better, and it was wonderful coming home from my trip to find it completely done. Thank you so much Santos. I will recommend you to anyone who asks!!

I worked with Sergey, Ivan and Dennis on a flooring project remotely. They all have great knowledge about the material and installation. It took some convincing from them for me to make the choice of Laminate with 180 hours water resistance vs PVC. They are on schedule as we planned. Very happy with the result.

Homecrafters built our home in 2018 in Caughlin Ranch. From the very beginning it was a great experience- terrific communication, top notch quality of work and follow thru. New construction is not without problems but Homecrafters handled each and every issue that we came across. . Definitely would recommend this builder, they will be there for the home owner every step of the way.
I had Gilliam Construction recess my subfloor in the bathroom as well as handle all the plumbing, vanity, and electrical work. The result was stunning.
They even spent extra time, making sure the inside cabinets were cut neatly to fit the new drain requirements to code.
I'm looking forward to working with them again on my next project currently.
If you want great service and communication, on time bids, work started when scheduled, and phenomenal results, call ICG Contractors. We are so happy with the gorgeous rock walls they built from rocks on or building site. The space between the house and the rock walls was extremely tight. Not only did they do excellent work, but never nicked the house even though there was less than a foot between the equipment5 and the house. Amazing.

We contacted Bridges Construction to do our kitchen remodel. To say that we are satisfied is an understatement. This group of people were absolutely amazing. They brought our vision to life. I got multiple different quotes from different contractors. With them giving us astronomically high quotes and saying we’d be out of our kitchen for 4-6 months. Steve worked with our budget and finished our full remodel, including the removal of walls, in 5 weeks! These guys don’t mess around. From Steve doing all of our plans, to Chris helping with design and finishing touches, to Kyle the master of literally everything. Not just them either, their workers all were amazing and polite. Such hard workers and truly made that 5 weeks as easy as they could possibly be. We trust them with anything in our home or family and friends homes. We could not be any happier.
These guys are good. I needed to have my garage insulated and drywalled. I've worked with many contractors over the years, and what I value most is good communication, being on time, doing exactly what they committed to, and high quality results. Cory worked closely with me to define the work I wanted done, such as the thickness of the insulation and the type of drywall. Within a week he provided a quote for the job. I had already worked out what I thought the job should cost based on materials and labor. His price seemed quite reasonable to me. I accepted his quote, and the crew showed up about a week later to start work. Cory was on site to make sure the crew knew exactly what work had to be done. There were four men on the crew, and the work took 2 days to complete. Cory went over the work with me to make sure I was satisfied. They did a good job and it was nice that they could get it done quickly. I am very satisfied with the final result.
He was most pleasant. Our problem is more involved so coming back next week.
I use the fellas for all of our rentals, our dealerships and our own homes and these guys are the real deal. You name it they do it and they are competitive and always show up on time and are clean. They dont leave a mess and they use safe sprays. I love it when they use their large dust wands and get all of the spider webs before they spray. Just top notch.
I can't thank Mike from G & R Pest Control enough for saving the day this past Wednesday. We had a party planned that evening and were trying desperately to get rid of a wasp nest in our patio cover. I called Mike...he answered...I told him the situation. He said...I'll be there in 10 minutes. He sprayed the nest and the party was a huge success...not one wasp came out. Huge shout out to Mike. These guys are amazing! I called because we have huge black wasps. Amy was very helpful and scheduled an appointment. Caleb was a little early which I was ok with. He sprayed my big oak tree and my bricks in the back because there were wasps in the bricks. We have not seen any wasps but he only did it a couple of days ago. I would definitely recommend these guys. Their price is so reasonable.

They very promptly visited home and started to treat gopher infestation with pellets for $275 and will visit weekly 3 more weeks $75 each.No one it seems handles critter infestation and they do. Guaranteed work too.
I don't have issues at my house a few years ago I found some nasty bugs in my yard, freaked out and called them and those bugs were only there a night or maybe two after I got back from work but they left on their own. However I used the service anyway. I signed up again just as a precaution this time. The quarterly service will give
piece of mind if nothing else. They inspected the property and found no reason for concern. Every other year or so I like to have the place treated just in case and if they see something I don't they will let me know.

Little city landscape transform my backyard into a beautiful living space. What started as a empty gravel filled space with nothing in It turned into a beautiful outdoor space. We had Action Lawn and Landscape come to our house to install a very large drip system, sprinklers, sod and landscaping. I am very particular about work being done at my house and was very pleased with Jacob and the crew. I wasn't sure exactly what I wanted done, other than the drip system. We had started to do the landscaping ourselves and it was very overwhelming. Our large backyard was full of weeds and the trees we had put in ourselves. Jacob drew out a beautiful landscape plan. The end result was amazing. I am going to add more plants later, but as you can see from the pictures, the work done turned out very nice. I am not a photographer, but you can get the idea.
Jorge and his is crew were amazing to work with. We've worked with a few landscape companies, and he is by far the best we've worked with. Their attention to detail and communication made our project seamless.

I have used Perez Landscaping for four jobs now, ranging from yard cleanup to paver installation, and they have done an excellent job every time! They are prompt, courteous, and very meticulous in their work. When the job is finished everything is cleaned up like they were never there. We have used Aspen tree services for several different projects. They are great and their prices are reasonable. We had two large oak trees that needed to be trimmed so they weren't overhanging our pool. They took care of the trimming and were done in a couple of hours. Fantastic service and people.
We got 4 bids from well known companies and The Tree Professional won them all. My husband said that Greg is the most knowledgeable of all we met.
Most importantly, while others advised just to trim for almost the same price, Greg said right away that our huge almost 40 years old tree is sick and the way it's positioned, it will fall on the neighbors roof. That would cost a lot !
Lawsuit and roof repair...Hm
It was a hard decision to say goodbye to our tree, but so glad we did. As you can see on the pic of the cut, the trunk was very weak, hollow and rotten.. Obviously just trimming would be a huge waste of money. It would be only a matter of time for it to crack in the middle during heavy snow falls and strong wind that Nevada is famous for.
Greg has done removal of this enormous tree and trimming of all our trees in no time. He even fixed the tree of our neighbors that was scratching our freshly painted house and leaning on our backyard tree preventing growth. Interesting fact, that people next door just had some other tree company working on this tree. But didn't bother to take care of it the right way.
We're very happy with Greg's work and expertise!
A woman owned business! Friendly, knowledgeable, efficient & a certified arborist. In 2022 we had four very large maple trees pruned along with a number of trees cut down and removed. They also offer to leave any of the chipped wood to dress your flower beds. A great company.

The practice is full. They clean teeth well and have a nice "spa" atmosphere going, but a star off for ZERO flexibility in scheduling. Maybe a sign of success, but a 6-8mo wait to reschedule an appointment?

I love this place. I always see Dr. Welch. He is wonderful. Most chiropractors want you to go on a schedule, like 2 times a week for however long. Dr. Welch lets you decide when you want to see him. He doesn't do x-rays unless absolutely necessary. The office has what they call a "water table". It's like a massaging waterbed. They have all kinds of machines to do all kinds of things. There is even a massage therapist on site. I highly recommend this place!
Dr. Brook Hollinger (Oriental Medicine) was able to phase-in new progress with past treatments. Results, I have experienced what I described as increased benefits occurring and allowing my perception of improvements being understood & felt by this patient. Dr Olivia is amazing. She works wonders on my body after working long hours as a operator and bouncing around in trucks and doing construction and fence lines so I come to her once a month and I love it new experiences great location, great atmosphere and great feelings afterwards
Very personal and professional. Chris McBroom really listens and asked many questions. He is extremely knowledgeable in common issues that ail active people. I am truly satisfied with his manual techniques and recommended proactive self-care techniques. The atmosphere is comfortable for me as I am accustomed to gym environments, in fact it motivates me to stay active. For those who are not accustomed to this type of environment, never fear, his bedside manner will quickly put you at ease. I feel extremely cared for by Chris because he takes his time with me, I never feel rushed and he isn't trying to sell me things I don't need.

I am so happy to have booked with him after talking to multiple different local offices. he made me feel so comfortable on the phone I didn’t even care to ask how much my first visit would be because I could tell right away he had a reasonable practice:) No crazy treatment plans no bs. His office is very clean and has a welcoming atmosphere, lots of places to sit, etc. His care is affordable and his treatment is painless. He adjusts you accordingly and has you get up/walk around before you leave to make sure you are pain free and don’t need anymore adjusting. 10/10 recommend, will definitely be back for maintenance visits.☺️

Wow. Dr. McCoy is incredible. I've been to several chiropractors throughout the years and have never had such a thorough assessment and adjustment of my back and my entire body. I've been seeing chiropractor since I was 17yrs due to a few car accidents. I'm very happy to have found Tony 4 yrs. ago when my previous doctor retired. Tony and his staff do such a great job that I have recommended all my family, friends, and employees. He really cares.
I got a routine skin cancer screening and the PA I saw (Ellis) was great, very attentive, and her assistant was friendly and efficient. Check-in was pretty easy, filling out forms on an iPad, although the assistant was required to ask me all the same question over again in person. The website has lots of info but is a bit awkward to navigate in spots. Calling to schedule an appointment was fast and easy.
I'm bummed Senior Care Plus, my insurer, is dropping this place. The level of care is extraordinary and all done with empathy and support. Dr. Hovenic, MOHS surgeon, is a wonderful and hugely competent medical professional. She is surrounded by an exceptional staff. I had a great tan for 40 years and now I'm paying the price. Skin Cancer & Dermatology Institute has treated me so well that a couple MOHS surgeries were so much easier than anticipated. Senior Care Plus, a great Medicare Advantage provider, is making a mistake.
Very happy with my visit here. I wanted my skin checked just to make sure I had no bad growths and Sheila was not only pleasant but very thorough even checking the scalp. I am elated to find a spot so caring and kind. Not only did she check my skin but she knew I was unhappy about some rough patches in many areas and got right to work freezing them off. I will be going back to get more done in a few months. Over the years, I have seen Dermatologist and mostly had good care. In my younger years it was for acne so I knew what to expect but I was happy that she explained the procedure and the after care before she started. It is wonderful to find such a caring person for skin care. Next time I go in, I will talk to them about other things they can help me with my skin care journey. At my age, I could use all the help I can get. I was shocked and laughing that the paper gown they gave me to put on tore right down the middle as I tried to open it. A nice gal at the desk gave me another one and as I put it on carefully, it started tearing in two spots. Just be aware the gowns are thin so you might want to bring a robe. I am still laughing inside that I could tear them so easily. Thanks for taking care of me, I will be back soon.

I recently brought my 11-year-old dog, Worf, to Southwest Veterinary Hospital for surgery, and while it was an emotional and difficult experience, the staff made it much easier to navigate. They were incredibly kind, patient, and informative. The team took the time to thoroughly explain the procedure, the staff involved, and what to expect afterward.
When we started discussing scheduling, I mentioned an upcoming trip, and they worked with me to ensure I could be home during Worf's recovery rather than leaving him in someone else's care. They were very transparent about the financial aspects, clearly explaining necessary procedures, optional treatments, and the potential long-term implications of different choices. Despite the high costs, I never felt pressured. They truly helped me make rational decisions during a highly emotional time.
The care they provided was all-encompassing—not just for Worf but for me as well. They genuinely considered my needs as a pet owner while ensuring my dog received the best possible treatment. I highly recommend Southwest Veterinary Hospital for their compassionate, thoughtful, and thorough approach.
My boys love it here, gained lots of weight, and have done really well. I've enjoyed it here. 2 rounds pens, large outdoor arena, wash racks, several tack rooms. Huge pens/turnouts. Workers are friendly and everything is kept very clean.
Dr. Green assisted our family with saying goodbye to our beloved dog. It was peacefully done at home, where our dog was comfortable, and we were too. It is a difficult experience to loose a pet but Dr. Green was good at explaining the process, allowing us time to grieve and say goodbye. She made it easier, and at a time like that, that is all you can ask. Thank you, Dr. Green.
A variety of tests did not give us the best news ever, but Dr. Roberts was both professional and personable in delivering it. She presented all the facts and options without pressuring or guilting. When asked what she would do for her pet in this situation she was honest and ultimately supportive of my decision for comfort care.
The front desk staff were also empathetic to the situation, but I really have to say that, based on previous experiences with the medical staff here, these five stars are for Dr. Roberts more than the clinic itself.
So if you’re reading this, thank you so much for helping us figure out the situation, determining a plan for the days left, and for sharing some tears and a hug with us. Koala and I are beyond grateful.
The vets and the vet techs showed a definite interest in my puppies and would even get down to their level to show them it was safe. 10/10 would recommend.

Soooo soo very thankful for Aspen. They squeezed me in for a very last minute appointment after my poor pup had a cyst re-form on his noggin. I wanted to get him seen before it ruptured but, unfortunately, it happened anyways. The vet and the techs were all SO kind and supportive. They were incredibly empathetic and showed as much love to my pup as I do every day - if not more.

We take all of our animals to Peavine. One of our shepherds is a rescue and is very timid, and skittish. All of the vets give her plenty of time to be comfortable and relax. They're all patient and take great care of them. Its the only place we take our animals!
We've been taking our poodles to them for years now and the service and care have been great! We have seen all three vets and they are all good. The dental cleaning and dental work is excellent, especially for small breeds. We're very happy to have great health and dental care for our pets.
Dr. Dose pulled some of my dogs teeth. She did an excellent job. I could not believe how fair and reasonable the cost was. I would recommend them highly. They are now BLU'S vets. We feel they really care about animals.

I started taking my pup here several years ago when I first moved to the area. Dr Schmitt has always been very thorough, caring, and patient with us and our furbabies. He's knowledgeable and is great at explaining things to us. The rest of the staff are so friendly and make us feel like family. I highly recommend South Reno Veterinary Hospital, and would continue using them even if it meant driving way across town.

This is my first time needing to board all my dogs. I am currently switching between having sold my home and purchasing my new home and am very sadly and desperately needing lengthy boarding for my "furry pack" I Found Fredies solely by searching internet and trusting reviews. I unfortunately, unexpectedly, found myself dropping at almost closing time and Dhonna did not hesitate to patiently get us through the paperwork and check in procedures. (I was not aware what was needed, but she was a champ!) She even gave me an entire tour of the place, including where the birds are! Dhonna and all her staff have not disappointed. They continue to be so very kind, considerate and exceptionally understanding and accommodating of my emotionally sad situation. (I am always balling my eyes out every time I go to visit and play with my babies) Dhonna intermittently sends videos or pics of my babies playing. We have excellent text and phone call communications when ever any need arises (even when she was out of the country on vacation, she was still in communication with me!). She checks in with me when needed to ask permission to groom them whenever she sees the need, and boy oh boy, did my super fluffy overgrown pomeranian need help!!! She did an excellent job!!! plus she also updated a couple vaccines that were missing on some of them. The most important part I am so very happy with is that every time I have popped in to see my babies, they have always been very happy, playful. They truly seem interactive and attached with all the staff members. I watch My babies always behave and excitedly "come when called" and "without leashes" follow all the staff everywhere they are told to, when its time to be ushered back to their own kennels. This is such a very sad time for me but I can rest so much easier knowing my babies are in such a great place and being so very well taken care of. I will never take my pets anywhere else.

Brought my Shih Tzu puppies for their first ever haircuts. I was greeted promptly, and the puppies were introduced to the shop. Everyone was friendly and professional. The puppies were finished on time and look terrific with the summer haircuts they now have. They are cool puppies now!

What an amazing little gem in Reno! I dropped in a beginner's arial silk class and I am so glad I did. It was all ages and all abilities, and so much fun. The instructor was so nice and very encouraging, and I found myself doing things I didn't think were possible! 10/10 will definitely be exploring all of their other classes as well!

I recently signed up for the new student special at The Studio and I have been soooo impressed with the diversity and knowledge of all the amazing teachers and additionally the calming serenity and decor of both studio spaces. All of these factors have made me feel incredibly welcome and supported as a new student. However, one teacher in particular has really made certain that I will keep coming back long after my new student special has ended.I have predominantly been a bikram method yogi previously because I consider myself to be choreographically challenged and I always have trouble following along with all the changing movements of yoga classes. I often times get exasperated and anxious, feeling like I simply can't keep up, nor do I know how to adjust myself when I get off track and lost.However, the instructor Kat Ames has really helped me feel hand held and guided with the most incredible patience trying to help me understand how to really drop into every posture she recommends. Her kind corrections and adjustments feel gentle and supportive and I love how she actually SEES me and is paying attention to what I am doing - like my experience as a student in her class truly matters.Thanks to Kat I am learning new ways to use yoga tools like balls and straps and I can thoughtfully notice whether a posture is really softening the part of my body we are targeting because my teacher uses language that is so relatable and specific. Not to mention, I absolutely love it when she breaks out her sound bath bowls. They just make me feel like I am relaxing in another dimension.Thank you Kat and thank you to The Studio for offering such great instructors and so much yoga diversity!

I took my first mixed level reformer Pilates class with Jody! She was so welcoming, greeted us as soon as we arrived and directed us where to put our things since it was our first time in the studio. Throughout class she consistently checked in, gently adjusted my posture as needed, and moved the weight to make it more beginner friendly. I was nervous as I don't have prior fitness experiences, but even the class members were supportive! Cute and well kept studio, such a positive experience and I will be back to try more classes!
The studio has an amazing vibe and is stunning with beautiful lighting. Instruction is clear and easy to follow with great demonstration. All fitness levels can find a class that works for them! As someone who frequently does Pilates of all types, I found the class challenging, but able to modify when needed. Highly recommend to those new to or familiar with Pilates.

One of the best massage treatments I've ever had. Booked a service last min while on a short trip to treat myself to a birthday spa package, back & foot massage, reflexology and body scrub. Professional and perfect pressure. He even helped to stretch super tight areas in my lower back, hips and hand joints. Just so impresse, wish we had this place in WA state. Thank you I feel amazing!

I really like this place. It is very comfortable and welcoming. The massage rooms are cozy. The staff are all very nice. Recently had a massage from Maggie and it was great!
After realizing that my body pains are a little more extreme than what a typical massage therapist is trained on, I heard about medical massage from a friend and found this place. I started with three trouble spots: my ankle, one of my top ribs, and left neck pain. I have been working with Morgan the whole time, and she has really impressed me! I can feel an improvement in the flexibility and decreased pressure in my ankle. I feel greater and longer lasting relief in my neck, and my rib area has become looser so that I can pop it back into place quicker now. I appreciate our quiet appointments with relaxing music, but she will always point something out about your injury if she notices, as well as answer any question and give advice on how to continue to feel better at home.
On top of all of that, I came in with a recent diagnosis of Hashimoto's (lower body pains) and sciatica (severe lower back pain), and she somehow knew what to target and made all of that better! I cannot believe that someone so young could be so knowledgeable, professional, and talented. I attribute her to getting me the ability to function through my extended wedding, honeymoon, and the holidays. Thank you for all you do!
I've been going to Tammi for about 8 years. She is fabulous! My mother in law has used her even longer and swears by her too. She is around 80 and getting along great. Tammi is great at suggesting healthy changes, stretching, etc. To keep the body feeling good between visits.

I went in with a few lower back pains, upper back stiffness, and she did her magic on making me feel brand new as soon as the massage was over. I went here for a massage and did not expect a lot when I saw she looked younger. I went in with some back and shoulder pain and got the best deep tissue massage I’ve had.
Just had a fabulous head, neck and shoulder massage from Johnnyper Thank you Johnnyper for the great relaxing and therapeutic massageI can honestly say it was a healing session. A lot of tension released from my neck and back. I will definitely be back and will be treating her to a nice Filipino food
Ralston Massage Center was professional, clean, and relaxing. Alan in particular was awesome. He was very knowledgeable and took time to explain things. He focus on areas of chief concern from a sports massage. He even took extra time to give me a printout copy of stretches to take home.
Definitely a place to go for authentic Thai massage. Excellent service from my LMT, Sorn. She was very attentive and meticulous in finding problem areas, and was able to customize treatment to alleviate my ongoing pain.
Kellene is an amazing massage therapist. She has helped me when doctors could not. I highly recommend her!

Nick is amazing. I'm a runner and had plantar fasciitis. It sucked and Nick basically fixed me. I never believed in acupuncture prior to seeing him, but I thought I'd give it a shot. He truly heals the entire injury, whatever it takes. He taught me how to strategically use athletic tape AND provided so much advice regarding stretching & recovery. For $60 for one appointment, this was more valuable than a $150 physical therapy visit. I love Nick and have nothing but good things to say about him! He truly cares about the patient and treats you like family.
I went to see Katania for the first time when I had Bells Palsy. The extent of my condition involved little to no movement on the right side of my face, including not being able to blink or shut my eye. Today I have fully recovered and I can honestly say acupuncture by Katania contributed to me regaining movement in my face. I definitely recommend seeing Katania for any physical challenges you may have.
Dr Melissa Wilson is wonderful. Her acupuncture has opened up my sinuses even with my allergies to our dog. Acupuncture also helps keep my digestion in line and helps keep me balanced. The cupping for my back also relieves tension and bringing new blood for my non-circulating vessels around my shoulder blades. This is an area where I’ve always held my stress. I highly recommend her! She may not be taking new clients without referral but let her know I’ve suggested you see her! Over a short time I believe you’ll see a difference like I have. My mom years ago was cured by acupuncture for her brain injury over 6 months. Best wishes!!
Joey and his associates are amazing. I've been dealing with vertigo and tinnitus for about a year now. After two sessions and some Chinese herbs the vertigo is gone and the tinnitus as well. Great experience overall. Super flexible program, with a self paced learning environment. Patty, Randy, Michelle, and Pete are always willing to help you get prepared for your license test. Unlike other schools, you’re not required to attend every day, and with early morning and weekend hours available, you can get your CDL while you’re working full time. Patty went above and beyond the call of duty to get me scheduled for a retest right away after failing a portion of the skills test. The icing on the cake is the best pricing in the area, as well as being 100% local family owned. I’ve already referred a few people, and will refer anyone else that asks about CDL school in the Reno area.
