Not only did they do a fantastic job they went over and beyond as some carpentry work was also involved as well. Their techs fixed things I didn't know about and extremely pleasant to work with. THEY ARE THE BEST in Springfield and also reasonably priced. Shouldn't tell this as might be more difficult to get my name on the list next time I need them.“

“Skaggs heating and Cooling took on the task of replacing an aging heat pump and air handler that is located in tight quarters and difficult to access. Other local AC companies in the area declined the opportunity after looking at it. Major duct modification was required to fit the new equipment in which Skaggs completed without a problem. Bottom line, I was impressed with the skill level, professionalism, and can do attitude of all Skaggs employees involved with this project. Communications with Skaggs concerning job status, etc also exceeded expectation. We are very satisfied customers and Skaggs Heating & Cooling just moved up to number one on our AC call list. “I asked for and was given an estimate by James (Business Owner) to replace our furnace and air conditioner.The price was within our budget for equipment I like, Rheem. It comes with a 10 year parts, 1 year labor warranty.The day of installation, James and his employee arrived as promised and removed my old equipment and installed the new. The installation required replacement of some copper lines and pvc run under the house as well as some fabrication of sheet metal.They worked steadily and methodically. They probably could have finished sooner if I didn't ask questions, however, James had told me previously that it would be about 5 hours. That proved to be very accurate to within just a couple of minutes. Everything was done well. I paid particular attention to the soldering of the copper lines and the bending/alignment of same. I haven't seen or done it better.Job was finished, new thermostat installed and system tested. Work area cleaned and everything hauled away.Now it's only been a day, but having watched the installation and having confidence in the brand, I have questions as to the quality of work or the brand.I feel we were treated well, treated fairly and recommend Show-Me Heating and Cooling in Springfield, MO (there are others) without hesitation.“

“It's been over 10 years since F&S installed a new HVAC system in my home. I'm talking about replacing old ductwork, additional return air vents, thermostat, etc. I may not be describing everything accurately but a whole new system was installed.There have been a few minor things to attend to over the years but I cannot stress enough how much confidence I have in these folks. Mind you, our relationship has been since a new Rheem unit was installed about 13 years ago and was under warranty for 10. They came out this morning because my unit was acting up and now it's running perfect. The great thing is that I had them come by the other day because it was acting up and I paid the Maintenance Fee which gets my unit serviced before summer startup and winter startup. The Fee I paid on that day covered the repairs today! My unit is old enough that having it serviced twice a year is very warranted but I have done this for years.It's nice to do business with a reputable company. No one is perfect but these guys keep at it until they can solve the issue. My issues are minor but without their maintenence that might not be the case.Great job guys!!!Services: HVAC system maintenance“
