I recommend Elite barber and beauty salon clean with friendly staff. If you are interested in making an appointment ask for Carla she specializes in growing women's natural hair. Parking may be difficult but worth it!

Stylist: I love Sam, she is the Absolute best when it comes to doing not only my hair but my daughter's hairs as well. She made sure to get a screen for us so that we can comfortably get our hair done when we removed our hijab. She's quick and professional and able to answer all our hair care needs. After thinking about getting a pixie cut for about 15 years I finally took the plunge yesterday with Ash. I was nervous for a big change but I'm so glad I took the leap! The cut looks great, and it's obvious that Ash is super knowledgeable, explaining everything to me at each step and making sure I got a cut best suited for my hair texture and growth pattern.
I'm still adjusting to my new look but I feel great and free and like I'm a step closer to figuring out what it means to be me.

I decided to look for a last-minute appointment to get my gotee shaped up. I'm not a guy that goes to the barber shop much (maybe once a month). I've had a hard time finding talent, skill, and good customer service in one barbershop. I made an appointment on booksy earlier in the afternoon, and only waited 5 minutes when I arrived at the shop. I was greeted by the owner who seems to be involved in the neighborhood and owns several barber shops around the country. He also owns a shop in Ghana. After a few moments Bill basically walked me through a history of my skin.
As a black man that is 40, over the years I have had a hard time having an impactful conversation with another black man that is skilled in skincare. After he diagnosed my issues, he shared some recommendations and proceeded to shape me up. The chair flips back, and out comes hot towels placed on my face as Bill continues to share skincare recommendations. He says, "Relax brother, you're at home." I walked away being a little more educated about my own skin, and he had my lines "sharpeAF". When he finished, he recommended his own oil that he produces in Ghana and places a cold towel on my face to close my pores.
In my attempt to find solutions for my skin issues, I've sought help from dermatologists, estheticians, and/or specialists. Never have I encountered a barber with this knowledge and skill level. Bill definitely exceeded by reason for coming in, and I will be going back.

I love it here ? I'm kinda of a regular. The family is nice they always try to accommodate. If you see me with a full set 9/10 time's it's their work. I always keep it cute and simple but bring her a pic and I guarantee she can recreate it.

My daughter booked an appointment for her prom on a Thursday not realizing Ryan was off that day. She was automatically put on a waitlist. The morning of her prom she came up to me and said mom I never got a confirmation. I panicked called and emailed. Ryan ended up returning my call. I think he panicked a little as well then took care of the situation. He quickly turned to the next solution which was recommending a different salon. Then he remembered his assistant Zee lived close by and she might be able to come over. She ended up calling me and we scheduled an appointment later that afternoon. Zee was amazingly helpful, she took care of my daughter not leaving one strand out place. Village Parlor took charge of what could have been a stressful day and turned it into the most beautiful day ever!!! Thank you and I will never forget what the 2 of you did. God bless you both!!!!

I was in town on vacation and really needed my hair done. I was able to book an appointment with Tiana before going home. She was so welcoming and gave me tips on how to take care of my hair. Every time she used a product on my hair, she would show it to me and explained why she was using it. Such a great experience. When I’m back in town, I will be booking her again.

I got the mineral rich body polish and a massage by Latia, she is very professional and good at what she do, I felt so relaxed and rejuvenated after my services. The Spa is really nice and my only complaint is the showers needed to be cleaned a bit more after each use, it was hair and a little mold. Overall it's a nice Spa

I was a little nervous to get my foot tattoo even though I have about 12 other pieces, but the whole experience was phenomenal and not as painful as I thought! Her and her apprentice were very attentive and caring, a dream tattoo shop experience in itself. You can really tell the effort she put into learning and perfecting her craft. I absolutely love traditional tattoos and after serving in the military and getting away from military towns it was very hard to find an artist and shop I would give my business to. A family friend had recommended Martin at Grand Blvd Tattoo and I’m glad he did. Absolutely amazing establishment. Martin’s communication and professionalism leading up to my appointment is second to none. He answered all my questions in a timely manner and at this point I knew I was in good hands. Appointment day, I show up, explain what I want and he worked with me making sure what I envisioned was what I got. The shop environment is very warm and welcoming, the staff there is friendly and Martin was as professional in person as he was via messaging. Very clean place, very by the books in terms of set up, sanitation and tattoo aftercare. I always respect artists who respect the craft and take pride in their work. This place is second to none and i absolutely have no problem going back for the rest of the work I get over my lifetime. If you’re shopping around for a tattoo shop/ artist stop your search here because the bar is very high here.
I got my piercings put back in after I had surgery and the staff was so nice and helpful! My piercer (whose name I unfortunately do not remember but he had dreads!) was very knowledgeable and the shop was extremely clean!
Cleanliness: The shop was very clean and my piercer was hygienic and washed their hands and took great care to make sure my piercings and jewelry were clean!
I had seen the work of the artist Motown via social media and knew that Motown would do the piece my daughter wanted for her birthday present. I knew that I wanted a cover of an existing tattoo that I'd grown to despise. She talked out my idea and got to work immediately sketching my art and tweaking it to my liking. In the end, I had a beautiful Buddha with flowers that covered some old crappy work. I can now display that area with pride. Thanks Motown!

Luckily HERNANDEZ SERVICES were able to fit my small back yard in on short notice. My very large dog had ravaged it! Holes dug, plants trampled, they took up it all. In one weekend I could barely recognize my yard. It really looked nice. Even the dog seemed to appreciate the yard change and took better care of where he played. HERNANDEZ SERVICES also trimmed my front yard bushes and renewed the entire flower bed. I was impressed with their work and their reasonable rate. I WOULD DEFINITELY USE HERNANDEZ SERVICES AGAIN!

While it is certainly difficult to look past their arrival on Halloween sans Halloween costumes, I found these guys to be quite incredible indeed. The quoting process was quick but also informative. The execution was efficient and done with care for the various yard furnishings and implements that could have easily been disregarded. When the work was complete, I was walked through the various checklist items performed and also offered ideas for future me to consider without pressure. The guys were friendly and I would gladly hire them again for any and all tree related concerns and/or conundrums.

We hired Ken and his crew this week to do some pretty big storm cleanup and they did an amazing job. They left our back yard in great shape.This was not the first time we've hired Ken. Three years ago we had him remove a huge, dead maple tree and he did an amazing job then as well.Ken's prices are always reasonable and a great value.We've owned this house for 20 years and we've had other tree services here in the past. Once we found Ken and his crew, we've stayed with them.We have more big trees in our yard so I'm sure we'll be seeing him again. lol.Services: Tree stump grinding

Great Dentist she shows care in her work. Front desk is also great she makes sure you know your next appointment and if the information and insurance are correct, they also send text messages and email for reminders

I brought my elderly neighbour in for treatment. All of the staff were so wonderful, kind and patient. The dentist was very helpful and knowledgeable and made me feel confident in the treatment options.

Dr Eisman is very professional and greet all of his patience by name. I started going to his clinic in the 80's. My mother and daughter even seen him. With over 20yrs passed by now needing to see him when I did he asked about my mom and daughter by name. I haven't seen any other doctor that remember patience names as fast as Dr. Jeffrey Eisman. He is the best.
I've been a patient of Dr. Dassouki and Detroit Spine & wellness for about a year now. It's the state of the art facility when it comes to Chiropractic treatment & I try to set up my schedule so that I can visit once a week. Highly recommended, Dr. D is more knowledgeable than most and can really diagnose issues you may have & there's hardly ever a wait time as the facility runs very smooth.

My experience was beautiful. No complaints, everyone was polite and professional. The technology used in this office is fantastic. My first experience with this. I didn't have to fill out any forms, rack my brain trying to remember stuff. On a scale of zero to ten Dr Heidelberg and staff get a 10 plus from me. One more thing I'd like to mention, I have never ever had my medicine ? delivered to my house. I thank my friend who recommended Dr Heidelberg and God for blessing me with this experience. AMEN!
My dog has been seeing Dr. Carter for a couple years and we absolutely love her and the whole office! She and her vet tech are so sweet and patient with my nervous dog and have never once made us feel bad for sometimes struggling with vet visits. They’re great about returning calls for questions and work really hard to squeeze you in if you have a problem. My dog is slowly improving with his visits and the staff here make them as quick and easy as possible!
I’ve lived in this neighborhood for a few years now and have never noticed this establishment. However, recently, my cat got stuck in the tree for 7 days and I was desperate to get him checked out. I arrived and was seen relatively quickly. Aside from some unnecessary charges (treatment for cat leukemia) everything suggested to me was all to help my cat be their most healthy self. Would take my cat back to them in the future.
Harvey Animal Hospital is both competent and compassionate. They are eager to inform pet parents of procedures and treatments. Love this wonderful veterinarian techs and Doctor

I had a great experience at Pets and Bubbles café. I experienced great communication with the owner, who called me back within 10 minutes of a missed call. These days it's really hard to find a business that will actually call you back. When I walked in, the business was super clean and organized, even though the owner and her groomer were balancing multiple pets at once. I was in and out less than 10 minutes for a walk-in nail trim, which I believe she does from noon to 3 PM on Thursdays. The owner was super kind to my dog and I, which I appreciated since not everyone is comfortable with Pitbulls. Towards the end of her nail trim, my dog started to get super nervous, so the owner went over and comforted her while the groomer finished the last paw. I love supporting this small business and will absolutely be back. I highly recommend that everyone goes here over any other chain like Petsmart or Petco.
This was our first time dealing with Walton's Pet Parlor. And we were very pleased with the service. They followed the instructions to the letter while adding some real nice extras touches. Titus and I will be using their excellent services again.
Citizen yoga is the best yoga studio hands down. I joined for the yoga but I have stayed for the community and mental health benefits. The teachers are amazing and the classes are engaging! I couldn’t recommend this studio enough!
Today was my first time getting a massage and I have no complaints 10/10 if you guys haven’t tried Trap Yoga yet it’s for sure a must it was the best massage I have ever gotten .
Almost the perfect set up for my yoga addiction. I live in Ohio and have only experienced Detroit Yoga online. They have a fantastic streaming set up - which works just about all the time. The few occasions there are technical issues, they have a wealth of recorded videos available in their library. The studio offers a lot of classes every day and many great instructors. During the week, there noon, 4:30 and 5:30 classes which fits my work schedule great. I work from home and enjoy taking a lunch break or catching a class to end my day. The only thing I would like better is more yin/restorative classes and a little cheaper monthly fee. I highly recommend you check it out if you are at all interested.
Hands down one of the BEST studios in the city. I wish they had more classes, more instructors, && more available classes. All the instructors are sprightly delightful, && welcoming. Non judgmental atmosphere . Love it

This middle-aged Asian lady has a great experience and she knows what she doing. If you pay for an hour massage you got 60 Mins massage. She deserves every penny, and she has hot towels and nice oils as well. No pain or stress when you leave.
Roderick is a wonderful massage therapist. He is always very professional, knowledgeable and just makes you feel comfortable all around. He incorporates great pressure into his technique (if you're into deep tissue massage like me ??) and also executes top tier customer service every time! 10 out of 10 will recommend!

Fantastic school, very fortunate to have found and chose to attend here. All the instructors have a passion for teaching and helping you become the best driver you can be. They will work with you one on one and as a group to help you understand the challenging skills required to pass the test required to obtain your CDL. Even though I attended as a student, I definitely left feeling as a part of the Rassem family.
Mr. Milton was a good teacher. Straight forward and to the point gotta respect it ?. Good business.
