I cannot put more than 5 stars but this guy deserves 10 stars. He is over 90 years old(but seems like he has 60) he is an Old Style Barber no electric razor but handy comb and scissors, and hand razor, the end result is amazing, you cannot immagine how much i’ve spent for all this care and skill…$20 …one more thing, he gets only cash no debit/credit cards

I moved away from Detroit a year and a half ago and have spent that whole time lamenting the loss of Sam as my barber. He is a real old-school barber who gives you a great cut at a good rate, something increasingly rare these days. He’s a master of his craft and has many stories to tell after over 65 years working downtown. Probably the best barber I will ever have!

Sam, at 92 years of age, used a straight razor to shave my face today and did not spill a drop of my blood! Definitely worth every penny! The conversation, the cut, the music, the wisdom! This guy is amazing!
