Enjoyed thoroughly working with Shervin at Central Floors in Rockville when we were in the market for new carpet and flooring a few weeks ago. Who might've guessed that this unpresupposing edifice just off Gude Drive contained such an array of carpet and flooring styles, spanning a spectrum of designs and costs. The gents here seem to live and breathe their products and we felt confident fully in our purchase for our family room stairs and foyer. Their installer Nelson was a special treat who proved himself gracious and extremely capable. Meticulous almost to a fault. Highly recommend!

JSS has done it again everyone! It's been a year since my last review so I thought I'd share my new hair and experience. I was overdue for a hair trim so I reached out to Jessica and her availability. Booking was so fast and easy. In a matter of minutes I received my booking confirmation and any paperwork I needed to fill out. When I arrived, I'm greeted and assisted immediately. Their stations were slightly rearranged as there's some renovations occurring for the Japanese head massage they're trying to innovate. So, back to my hair! It was grown out, and it was long, black/blonde and needed some loving. I wanted to go dimensional with a lighter brunette. My hair is thick too so a trim was not out of the question. Emely was assisting as well and she's wonderful. I was definitely treated so well with all the snacks, drinks and girl talk! If you haven't been and want to invest in something as important as your hair, it's the place to be!
I had highlights done at another studio and did root touchups on my own. My hair was feeling brassy so thought I would try Studio AM based on high reviews. Anum took the time before my appt to understand my goals for the appt and we set up an appointment for a toner. When I got there and she looked at my hair, she suggested that I instead do a root color as the color I had done on my own was making my whole head feel brassy and the color was too warm. She explained that my highlights were actually a nice ash color, but the brassy roots was throwing it off. She also suggested this as a toner would reduce the overall appearance of my highlights which I confirmed I didn't want. She took the time to explain color theory and what to look for if I end up doing a root touchup on my own again. She got the root color perfect (blends so nicely with the rest of my hair) and because she got the brassiness out of the roots, the rest of my hair looks perfect too! Really appreciated her taking the time to get to the "root" of my problem :). She was also so sweet and efficient. Will absolutely come back again!

Angelina is the best! She is so insanely instinctive and talented when it comes to cutting and styling hair. I've been going to her for a few years and referred many people to her. i get a skin fade and beard trim when i go to the barber, and i've been to many throughout my life, some of which are great, and others that fall short of my expectations. i then came across this place, and i'm glad i did. booking an appointment is very easy, and tsehay the barber is a very nice woman with a genuine care for her clients. she's very skilled and crafted at what she does, not to mention provide the ultimate luxury experience. i talked to her about the type of fade and design that i like to get, and right off the bat she knew how to hook me up. i didn't have to go into depth about how i like to wear my hair and beard. she looked at my hair and knew right away what to do, which is very impressive and it's not something every barber can do. her attention to detail and precision is absolutely flawless. not everybody i've seen has known how to work with my hair, or give good fades, but tsehay knows how to work with my hair and style it so effortlessly. i was beyond happy with how my hair and beard came out, and i really enjoyed the luxuries that came with my visit. a hot towel with lavender over the face, scalp and face massages, oils, and special moisturizers helped make the experience feel very opulent. i really enjoyed the service i got from start to finish, and i will most definitely be coming back. gentlemen, this is the place to go. i'm fortunate enough to live real close by here

Nails For You, is the "hole in the wall" of nail salons. You don't need a BIG nail salon to receive great service. Jade is an expectionally great nail tech/owner (I try to make my appointments with Jade). I have NEVER experienced bad service from this salon. She's patient, kind and accommodating. Patronize this establishment. What they lack in size, they make up for in quality service and lasting nails! My tip...MAKE AN APPOINTMENT, so you don't set YOURSELF up for them being busy and can't get you in. It's a personal issue at that point! See you in a few weeks JADE

I started going to Rekha in Fall of 2023. My eyebrows were super thin from years of plucking and have been told by other specialists they wouldn’t grow back. She has brought them back to life! It is summer of 2024. She gave me hope and is so strategic and thoughtful. Not to mention she is so kind, has such a calm welcoming demeanor, and is very professional. I’ve gotten a lash lift/tine and brow tint/lamination with her twice and they are something I look forward to doing, as a self care treat twice a year. I highly recommend, and do not trust anyone else with my brows but her.
I decided that waxing was no longer a viable way to keep my face clean of facial hair. I found Brows & Beauty and it was the perfect choice. Kusum is so careful and attentive to details. My eyebrows always look perfectly shaped. Her shop is always perfectly clean, so I never worry about sanitary conditions and she offers a variety of services. My experience with her has been consistently A+. If you ever want to try threading, Kusum is the first, and perhaps only person I would recommend.
Going in I was really excited!!! The lovely stylist who did my hair was Michella. I asked if she could do a braided bald head and she agreed. Just mentioned that it would be her first time. Once she started and I saw the S I was like shes about to eat down. And she did just that. All in all I'm very pleased and will be coming back!!

If I could give more stars, I would!!!!My nails were awful prior to Nady taking over. I had a pretty awful experience in Jan with my nail tech, and had not had a pedicure or manicure since. I had removed the gels and my nails wre in rough shape. In top of that, my toes looked like bird toes ? However Nady was my nail savior. It was my first time receiving "Russian" pedicure or manicure. Nady worked meticulously and dilligently to repair my cuticles and build me new nails. Then she sculpted the gel to give me a a flawless finish on my hands and feet. Thr disc cleaning on my feet left them baby soft. I will NEVER go back to the standard. For me, it's Russian or bust. I am a customer feom this point forward. Take a look at the before and after pics. True miracle worker.

Riza is a true artist! The process was seamless. She measured brows perfectly, got my input and voila! Not having to do brows in the morning is a game changer. You can tell she takes her work very seriously and wants you to be happy. Her consistent training keeps her on trends with the latest technology which is how I found she was doing nano brows! Such a natural look. Highly recommend.

Maggie is fabulous. My favorite stylist ever. I never write reviews but believe this one is important. I was depressed over my hair: bald spot, thinning, frizzy, color was always too dark. Maggie’s been cutting my hair in a way that I don’t have that bald spot glowing in the back of my head. The color is close to my natural color and I love it. Maggie asked detailed questions to get to know exactly how I wanted to look and how I wanted to manage my hair on a daily basis and she listened to me. Maggie continues to ask if I’m happy with my hair, if I’m having problems, and we discuss the progress of my hair.Maggie makes it EASY to share how you feel about your hair. She creates a partnership where you are working together so that you love your hair. I NEVER looked forward to going to the salon. It’s a pleasure for me now to go to Maggie’s comfortable space, express my feelings, and have confidence in walking out happy. Maggie is kind, honest, helpful, fun and just so cool. What can I say? Best lashes ever - and I've tried many different lash techs. I've been going to Cat for a few years now and don't have any plans on going anywhere else. It is expensive but one of the luxuries that I would splurge on routinely as it dramatically cuts down on my morning routine. I can get away with not wearing any makeup when Cat has done my lashes. Plus she's the best! I didn't know her before she did my lashes but now I consider her a dear friend.
It was my first time getting my hair done by Nataly, and I am very happy and pleased with the result. We did highlights+lowlights, and Nataly was very attentive to my requests and very knowledgeable about how to acheive the result without damaging the hair. Very nice, professional, friendly and approachable - not aggressive, tactless or lax about hygiene during a pandemic, like other waxers in the area (I contacted a few places before settling on Ari, and was turned off). Services are always prompt and efficient, the supplies (chiefly among them, the wax) are high quality and well-maintained, and the precautions she's taking during the pandemic put me at ease. I also appreciate the socially responsible mission she has assigned her business (it's tied to helping children abroad), and her transparency about the use of her profits. She's a pleasure to chat to (friendly, but not intrusive, casual, but not gossipy or tactless, unlike so many waxers) and adept as pain-minimizing techniques. I would highly recommend her to anyone looking for high-quality services in the area.

Serenity Spa was recommended by a coworker as we were ending our shift at the hospital. I called and was able to get an appointment. I had a wonderful, relaxing and much need massage. The staff were pleasant and accommodating. The masseuse was amazing. I have how to other spas and this by far was the very best massage I ever received. It’s not close to my home but it’s worth the commute. Can’t wait to book my next appointment.
Amy is amazing! I have coming to her for waxing for over 2 years and I have never been disappointed. I left briefly last year to try Sugaring which was not a good experience, and I came back to Amy and STAYED! She is quick, efficient and she does her best to ensure your comfort always. But its waxing, so some level of pain and discomfort is expected. I haven't tried her other services (i.e. facials) but I hear nothing but good things about them. I will try it out one day. :)

I had a massage there yesterday and it was the best one I've ever had. They used acupressure and hot stones. I've been having a lot of lower back tension and it was causing a lot of pain when standing or walking. I woke up this morning with no pain win my back. That hasn't happened in years.
Absolutely in love!! Everyone here is super kind and my lash technician Emily was super kind and flexible to what I wanted. I got exactly what I wanted and she was so gentle and took a lot of care with my lashes. Definitely will go again, and highly recommend :)
Service: Extensions. From volumes to hybrids, Phanniya is perfection. Phanniya went on vacation for a month and my lashes went from looking like the best volumes ever done to hybrids by the time she came back, she's that good. No matter how long I wait my lashes still loook hella good, she does that good of a job. But like clockwork I will come in every two weeks. Vibe: Phanniya's studio is so clean with waterfall sounds in the background. Absolutely relaxing. I basically can take a 30min to hour nap. Usually an hour. Highly recommend coming to see Phanniya she is the best in the business!

Words can’t describe how much I loved having my makeup done by Addi! Her studio was so cute when I walked in and very inviting. After asking me my preferences on makeup, Addi went to work and not only gave me what I asked for, she went above and beyond and make me looked absolutely beautiful. All her products were high quality and Addi was so personable and easy to talk with. She truly is amazing at her profession and I highly recommend her anyone wanting to look fabulous at their next event.
Emily did my makeup for my wedding this October. She did an amazing job! She also did my bridesmaids, Mother and Mother in laws makeup. Everyone was happy and the makeup looks lasted all night. I also got a facial before the wedding. Emily made sure I was comfortable and relaxed during whole facial. I would highly recommend booking with Emily.
Linh did a great job with my piercing. The establishment was super clean. Linh was very kind and patient, explained everything before doing my piercing, used sterile tools, and expertly guided me through the entire process so that I wasn’t nervous at all. Linh also gave me great advice and information after on how to properly keep it clean. I would definitely go back to 32 Old Town in the future! Thank you so much!
Requested style: I wanted my piercing to be flipped up and Linh kindly listened to my request, was not judgmental, and helped flip it up and gave instruction on how and when to flip it back down after it’s all healed.
Cleanliness: The establishment was extremely clean. Linh wore gloves the whole time and used sterile tools. I felt safe getting my piercing done here.

I went to TK for my first tattoo and could not have asked for a better experience. He was patient and communicative through our booking and design process. He explained everything that he was doing and clearly prioritized my comfort and safety. We ended up breaking my appointment into two sessions because he noticed my skin was really sensitive and wanted to give me some time to heal before finishing the piece so that it would turn out perfect. We even FaceTimed before the next appointment to make sure I was healed enough to continue it (I wasn’t, so we pushed it back). Before my second appointment, there were some storm/weather alerts, and he messaged me beforehand to make sure I was still comfortable driving in. TK truly loves his job and cares about his clients’ happiness - he’s not just there to make a quick buck. I get tons of compliments on my tattoo and have recommended him to everyone who comments on it!

I was worried moving to MD i’d have trouble finding a new tattoo artist. Randomly stumbled upon this shop and fell in love with the quiet atmosphere. Monica is not only a WONDERFUL artist, but she is a genuine and sweet person. She does not tax on tattoos like the horror stories i’ve heard from people who ventured out to DC to get tattoos . Prices are affordable and the work is worth every penny. Look forward to continue getting tats from here.

Daniel came to our rescue because of faulty work done by a contractor we have working in our home on an insurance claim. We've upgraded to a smart bidet from a standard toilet but the contractor didn't admit he didn't know how to install it thereby causing improper plumbing to be installed. Daniel spotted the issue immediately then resolved the issue in 10 minutes, I kid you not! The contractor told us he was searching for the adapter needed for half a day and couldn't find anything. The male to female adapter was in the box with all of the smart bidet's things and Daniel only had to fabricate an attachment on one side to fit standard threading....
He also located and fixed a leak in the brand new vanity sink in there too, where an o ring was installed upside down and the gasket was pinched. That was what was causing water dripping in our brand new cabinetry. He repaired this in less than 10 minutes.

I have used them 2 times to catch up on several plumbing issues. Slow Flushing toilet, kitchen sink clog, garbage disposal replacement, outside faucet replacement, Master shower thermostatic valve and copper pipe leaks (in the walls). Some of these projects were to repair poor workmanship by other large Plumbing companies. Every employee I interacted with was patient in listening to my concerns, engaged in troubleshooting the issues, knowledgeable about how to best to resolve the issue. I also like that I didn't have to pay for an estimate visit and then schedule a follow up for the repair. They came with the supplies they needed or was able to quickly get anything they needed that day to finish the job. Of note, the copper pipe repairs are beautiful. No splashed or messy soldering. Tievy Electric did a heavy-up at our newly bought house. Out of 4 quotes we have got from local electrics Tievy was the cheapest by far. They had no problem to using Load Panel and breakers supplied by us, even if they have never installed this particular brand before. So now you can be rest assured they the best (or may be even the only) electricians in the area when it comes to installation of Leviton Smart Load Panels.

We scheduled with this company, the technician showed up on time and explained how their solution would lift all the dirt and grime trapped in my beige carpet's fibers. A new hardwood floor developed warped boards raised above the other boards due to a refrigerator leak. AG Floors promptly set up a scheduled repair, which was done quickly and with no disruption of the household, which is entirely undetectable. We didn't want new carpet for our brand new house, but our dog managed to lock himself into one of the bedrooms, and in his angst, managed to not just rip the carpet up but to also remove a chunk of it. Options were patching (cutting a patch from closet) or new carpet-- we opted for new. Werco was prompt, efficient and well priced. Took them about a week to get the carpet on hand, and then they arrived at EXACTLY the time they said they would to do it. I can’t speak highly enough of Hanes on Homes. Chris Hanes is an outstanding professional. He is completely transparent throughout the process, and the value he places on quality cannot be understated. He will get the best possible materials for an extremely fair price, and it was clear to me from the beginning that he places a very high value on the quality he provides. I had a rash/bites that my dermatologue could not distinguish whether were due to bites by an unknown bug or some other reaction. Initially, Jeff treated my house with the regular pest solution but also warned me that it was not effective to potential bird mites and if they were the problem, I may need a follow up targeted treatment that he would perform for free. He checked the perimeter of my house and pointed out other issues that may cause pests in the future. The treatment and overall assessment was through. I did not need the follow up treatment but I appreciate the attention to detail and the overall approach.

I have been using Silas since 2022. Elizabeth and Lester are very pleasant to work with, and are much more professional than the landscaping company I hired before. They mow the lawns weekly and bi-weekly, do spring and fall cleanup, and also clean the gutter. There was one time where they sent over a wrong invoice and Elizabeth was very professional and quickly corrected it, which I know the owner from my previous landscaping company would be offended if I point out the mistake. Wow. Don’t bother going anywhere else. Marquez Tree Service took down three massive trees for me and my neighbor- that would have fallen on our house or our neighbor's. Their price was incredibly fair (way better then the person my neighbor was going to hire) and they were the ultimate professionals. Jose came out the day I called and gave me an estimate - and then they came the very next morning to take the 3 trees down. They had to move my trampoline to take one of the trees down and before they moved it back they pulled out all the weeds that had been growing under the trampoline - I was not expecting that. They also had to take down part of our fence - and then built it back better. I was so impressed by their work ethic and also their incredible workmanship. They came on time and cleaned up after themselves to the point that they actually made my yard look better than it did before. I was not looking forward to taking this tree down - but watching them work - I’m so glad I did. It really stormed last night and all I could think was how glad I was that I called Marquez.

Now, onto Dr. Tommy Gladnick. I did not have the pleasure of meeting his wife, but the staff speaks very highly of her as well as 'Dr. Tommy.' He is an amazing dentist, friendly, highly-skilled, gentle (no pain at all), and explains everything in complete detail. I brought both my 4 year old and my 2 year old for their first dentist visit. I was a bundle of nerves about their first experience at the dentist since I knew this would set up the comfortability for them for future visits. The experience was a 10/10 for both. Both of my kids were welcomed upon arrival with their names written on a large blackboard wall. They were extra excited that they could watch whatever tv show they wanted WHILE getting their teeth cleaned. Though this feature was available, they ended up being more interested in learning what Dr. Ball and her team were doing. Each tool was introduced to them first and they got to explore them before they were used (ie.feeling the suction on their hands). Everything was tailored to my kid's comfort level from the toothpaste flavor, to the bright lights (cool character sunglasses are provided!), to the survey that is to be completed beforehand asking about any special interests to make conversations and treats personable. It was overall a wonderful experience and I am so thankful we found a dentist that knows how to make it a productive but fun experience for kids!

Visited here with my husband to get adjustments. Very clean and professional. I was pregnant 32-38 weeks when I came, but due to scheduling we couldn’t keep attending. We met with Dr. Stuckart. He was awesome and even provided massages for our neck and shoulder area. My husband and I both agree, he has hands of iron man! Maggie was amazing too! We were happy with our results and definitely recommend this place to others.
Like others, I was skeptical about consulting a chiropractor. However, after a neighbor shared her wonderful experience with Dr. Alyssa I decided to give it a try to see if there was anything she could do for the reoccurring tendonitis/arthritis in my left foot. And as they say the rest is history. Dr Alyssa is great and has helped me better understand my troublesome foot. We agreed that I should follow up with my podiatrist and she wrote a referral including what she has been doing. Podiatrist was more than impressed and encouraged me to continue with Dr. Alyssa which of course I will do. She's the best!

I reaaly like this place excep their fee is too high. I had been to different Chiropractor places but have not seen the billing came by L or T numbers. It should be just adjustment for all spine than dividing the bill by vertebral column.

I have been using Dr Moses since last one year and he has been amazing. He has taken care of several stress points in body, I am very happy with his expertise.
I am a Professor of Pediatrics at Children's National Hospital. My father is 83 years old and developed cervical radiculopathy with multiple minor disc prolapses. Drs Kim and Jay are professional in taking care of him. Dr Kim explained X-ray neck findings, interpreted MRI neck and pointed to spot on the problem of pinched nerve.
We made regular visits for treatment. He explained how this going to work and what to expect in treatment. He was thorough in each step. After 4 sittings my father is relieved of symptoms and he will undergo few more treatments before flying back.
The clinic staff are excellent and welcoming. My father underwent musculoelectrical stimulation, ultrasonic therapy and neck decompression. Dr. Kim's mastery of manipulation and adjustments of dad's neck was the best thing I have seen. My father could immediately see the effect. I like the background calm music and final back massage at end of neck decompression.
Overall, I am thankful to Dr. Kim and his team for avoiding a surgery and heal my father's ailment.
I have a high regards to this practice and recommend to consider for cervical radiculopathy.

We have tried different methods to cure this chronic disease and Dr. Green always provided his dedicated care, the results we have are very successful. Dr Lin is very nice and extremely perky but I'm not 100% sure she is really listening to the issues you are describing. A cheery upbeat response is not necessarily the right answer to a particularly serious issue that is troubling a patient, and could be perceived as minimizing the patient's feelings about the issue. I think Dr Lin should dial up the gravitas and dial back the perkiness a bit as she is otherwise a lovely person and competent doctor

To be honest, this was the best experience my family has had with a veterinarian practice. (Of course my pup had a great experience too which says a lot!). From the scheduling process, to the appointment itself and follow-up, everything has been great. We came from a different practice, Woodley Gardens made the transition so easy with obtaining all of my dogs prior records from multiple practices which made everything so much easier. My dog has inflammatory bowel disease and is under very specific care and a special diet because of this. Dr. Lowenthal has already been an amazing help with continuing care for my dog's disease and also helping us maintain communication with our dog's internist. I highly recommend this practice!
My dog needed all of her vaccines updated and her annual check up, so I found this place online. We walked in on a Friday during lunch hour and were the only customers- we were in and out in 20 minutes. The assistants were very quick to check me in and recommended the perfect package for us to get all our vaccines. I was most impressed by the pricing- I have always had to pay twice as much as I did at PetWellClinic for the routine vaccines. The vet also took extra care with my dog who usually cries when getting these shots, and she did not let out one whimper. We will definitely be back!

My partner and I have been coming to Balance Vet for years for our two dogs and two cats. We trust them with our beloved animals. They are kind, thorough, give us the options, and educate us about how to decide from those options. I have never experienced bedside manner like Dr. Albano and the team have provided. The team always greets us and our animals by name and remember specific things about them. There is a reason we have continued to drive so far over the past 5 or so years to receive care from them.
I'd also like to note that I highly recommend animal communication with Terriann. We did a session with our highly anxious dog when one of his favorite people was moving out of the country and we were worried about how he would take it. Not only did we gain new insight into how his mind and perception works, but we left with tangible tips for how to help him feel empowered and content in his life and better meet his access needs as a deaf and low-vision dog. We also felt heartened and cared for ourselves. Terriann is very good at what she does and because we weren't sure what to expect, she explained everything along the way.

The doctors and staff at Nebel Street have taken care of my cats for over 20 years. They are unfailingly attentive, and treat each "patient" like their own. They take their time in the examining room, provide careful explanations, and regularly follow up with phone calls after each visit. Originally, I lived a few blocks from their office, which was very convenient. Although I have moved, the 30 minute drive is well worth it. I wouldn't trust my cat family with anyone else.

Michele's zoom yoga classes helped me survive the pandemic. It was one of the few things I was able to do to be good to myself, and this gentle yoga practice has been a balm to body and soul. It's kept my back pain free, filled me with positive messages, and kept our classmates connected. In studio classes are starting again and I'll be going as soon as I get up nerve to do it.

I have been receiving sessions from Alison for many years and always benefit immensely from each session. Alison is very knowledgeable and caring and has a great bedside manner. I love that she has trained and is accomplished in numerous healing modalities, including massage therapy, the Feldenkrais Method, Reiki, Insight Acupressure, and more. Each session I receive from Alison is unique and healing as she is very intuitive and has a large toolbox of modalities to help me with any given issue I’m dealing with.
She is a great teacher as well. I use the acupressure from her Seva Acupressure workshop frequently with my clients...years after taking the class! I highly recommend working with Alison if you are looking for a highly trained, caring, holistic practitioner!

Our initial experience with physical therapy for our injured son was inconsistent as he was juggled among different therapists who often split time with another patient during his sessions. Several of the exercises were generic and didn't provide a more holistic approach to our son's complicated history. Dr. Jowers took the time to fully understand his history and goals and provided him with the full attention and expertise that he needed to recover. Furthermore, Launch provided sport specific exercises and a comprehensive at home plan for him to take control of his recovery and not rely on continual PT sessions. When our daughter also needed some PT work for a sports injury, we didn't hesitate in returning to Launch knowing the recovery plan would be unique to her needs and the quickest way for her to safely return to action. Can't thank Dr. J, Dr. Aaron, and Launch enough for their help with both of our kids!!
Lisa Marie is extremely attentive. She asked probing questions to figure out how to target my "ailments." (I like her wording better) I feel like she gave attention to my answers as well. Also, in conjunction with the Chinese medicine and acupuncture, she referred me to one of the best dermatologists to assist with my skin issues. To me that is going above and beyond.

TianDr Tain is an extremely professional and knowledgeable acupuncturist. He is currently treating my husband for a rare eye disease. He listens and evaluates carefully and is very caring and compassionate. No other doctors have given my husband any hope to see again. Dr Tian treats him as an individual and gives him hope and inspiration for recovery. He uses a unique approach to treat my husband’s optic nerve neuropathy combining wholistic health with electrode-acupuncture and herbs. He always greets us with a smile. His jovial demeanor helps to make this rare eye disease more bearable.Dr Tian has also treated my husband’s asthma/wheezing using acupuncture and herbs and we have seen very successful result quickly. He has treated our daughter for allergies in the spring and she has experienced great relief, naturally, from her allergies.As a licensed oncologist he treats many cancer patients. We have talked with other patients that he treats for pain relief. Dr Tian works with insurance companies to cover the visits. I have been Dr Hou's patent for 10 years. I truly believe she was sent by God and she saved my life. I was diagnosed with several autoimmune diseases, Pulmonary Hypertension, Raynauld's syndrome, Immune Thrombocytopenic Purpura (ITP), Mixed Connective Tissue Disease and Antiphospholipid Antibody Syndrom (APS). At only 35 years old, my doctor installed a central line delivering an IV medication 24/7 and was talking to me about performing a lung / heart transplant in the future. Since I was 30, I was having trouble walking on level ground and going up stairs. I had my pinky finger autoamputate while in the hospital due to poor circulation. I was very sick when discharged from the hospital. I could not eat or sleep. I started seeing Dr. Hou remotely. I would send her pictures of my tongue and describe my symptoms over email. She would send back herbal prescriptions that I would fill at my local Chinese herbal shop and brew the tea at home to consume twice a day. I live in Vancouver, Canada and was not able to receive Dr Hou's acupuncture treatments.She told me that first she would focus on my appetite and my sleeping and surely enough, over the weeks taking her tea, those conditions improved. After a few months she said she would focus on my circulation. I had Raynauld's and my fingers would turn blue and white when cold. Sure enough, after a few months of treatment, my fingers would stay pink when I touched frozen food or shopped for cucumbers in grocery store.I had immune disorders where I would be plagued by endless colds in the winter, one after the other. These got better over the years. Even my pinky finger is slowly growing back. This year I was able to surgically remove the central line and take off the ambulatory IV pump I had been wearing 24/7 for the last 10 years! I am working full time again for the past 3 years, I've lived to see my daughter graduate from elementary school.My daughter also sees Dr. Hou and has taken the bitter tea twice a day since Kindergarten. I did have to start her very gradually, with just a single mouthful of tea at a time. I also had to bribe/motivate her with candy, but it was worth it in the end. She has had great improvement in her lupus symptoms, she is off all the heavy lupus drugs and had all her food allergies resolve. She no longer has to carry an Epipen as she passed a nut challenge at the local children's hospital. She has been freed from a lifetime of living with a food allergy!If you have a hopeless autoimmune disease, or cancer, or a mysterious disease that western medicine can not solve, please give Dr. Hou a try. The cure might not be fast or easy, but try to stick with it. She has worked miracles for my family!
Wonderful experience every time. My wife and I purchased the package (x10 sessions) which is super cost effective and WOW are the sessions healing. Massage first (feels more like a chiropractor), then acupuncture, and lastly a heated massage bed to get the blood flowing. Whole session works out around 1.5hrs and it's a great way to give yourself some self-love. Highly recommend!
I am very thankful for Dr. Du's professional help. For the past several months, I had problems with my right hand thumb. It was getting increasingly difficult and painful to bend it or move. At the worst time, I could not open the door or even open the coke can. I went to see several doctors and got different treatments, but did not see clear improvement. One Doctor even suggested that this was normal with my aging and I just needed to accept it. I got very frustrated or even depressed. When I went to see Dr. Du, I was surprised by her confidence. After checking my thumb, she told me that it was totally treatable and I would recover after some treatments. In addition to acupuncture, she gave me some special medical paste she made to put on my thumb at night. In the past three months, my thumb improved steadily. It makes my work and life much better than before. I really appreciate Dr. Du's confidence and passion in helping patient.

He not only thought her everything she needed to know to pass her road test on her first try. He boosted her confidence to become a better driver. He showed her the mechanics of a car and gave her the confidence she needs to drive in the highway. I know everything she learned is because of officer Jess.
