“I cannot recommend this service enough. Rema is a master plumber who we hired to resolve leftover issues for a failed final inspection from a contractor. He installed a sump pump battery backup and fixed the sump pump drainage pipe outside to adhere to code requirements. His workmanship and professionalism is impeccable, and we've had no issues with our sump pump or drain pipes since they had been installed. “While G.A. Eberly did not necessarily do any substantial work on my home, I am giving them 5 stars for their customer service, promptness, knowledgeable staff, and fair prices. I had a tankless water heater go out in the coldest stretch of winter. My thermostat (we have radiator heating) was reading 41 degrees. When calling companies on 12/28, I was being told by many they couldn't see me until early January. G.A. Eberly took my call and checked with their maintenance team to see how they could fit me in on the same day. They had a lead technician (Steven) hop on the phone and get information about what I was experiencing, before finding a way to slot me in. Steven even called back about 30 minutes later to offer a quick fix solution to see if we could get our heat back on. Excellent service!Chris was the technician dispatched. He came on time and quickly diagnosed the issue. He was friendly, helped get a fix in place, and was out the door in no time. I was happy with the price paid for what essentially amounted to a service call, even though he helped fix my issue. Excellent experience working with them. They seemed very comfortabe with my tankless system. “I highly recommend this business. I used them to replace the water heater in my home in NW DC. Al initially answered all of my questions over the phone and was able to give me a quote with my provided measurements, photos, and info provided via text. He showed up on time, was extremely professional and respectful of my home (including wearing shoe covers). He was thoughtful in his approach and layout and left my home as tidy as he found it. While my initial interaction was amazing, what made me come write this review is how this business responded when I had an issue with my water heater. I recently had an issue where my water heater was not performing normally. I was concerned that they might not be as responsive because it is the middle of winter (busy season for heating repairs) and this was a follow up call (not new business). After leaving a message, they called me back the same day and made arrangements to come out and troubleshoot my heater. A different crew came out the second time, they were just as professional and courteous as the first. They wore shoe covers, left everything tidy, and most importantly were able to quickly figure out the issue and complete the repair at no additional cost to me. I cannot recommend them enough. This will be my go to for any hvac/water heater maintenance/repairs going forward.“
