“This is a great addition to Charlestown and such a good workout. You don't have to be a runner to do their classes. It's making me enjoy the treadmill, which I always thought was the worst piece of gym equipment. I really enjoy the classes offered in each room. Friendly staff and teachers, and easy parking toom“

“This is an amazing studio. It’s such a warm, welcoming space. And Cassandra is my absolute favorite teacher! I always feel so good after a class with Cassandra. She’s so knowledgeable and really works with you to make any adjustments that are needed. She pushes you in a supportive way. She’s just the best.“

“Laura is knowledgeable about how your body works. She reads the current research and shares that with you as a client. Laura is reassuring and instills confidence to the client. I appreciate that she writes up a manageable program at home for practice at home. Laura offers to take a video which allows me to see and hear her specific recommendations when doing the exercises. Most importantly, my body is improving since working with Laura!“

“Their studio is not the biggest one in Boston area, but they are probably the most professional ballet teachers and dancers I met for adult ballet class, both Carlos and Erica are very nice and encouraging. Every time I took Erica’s class, I can feel her positive vibe. She did every demo throughly, every student, from very basic beginner level to very advance pre-professional one , will learn from her. She is very patient to correct your posture, and knows exactly those common mistakes students usually will make. For adult students like me, ballet is very good and important exercise for mind and body, and taking class in Integrarte is always a good experience.“

“I met Ildiko in 2010, just after debilitating back and knee surgery- I was a mess, epidural injections max amount in minimum period of time, pain killers and general no quality of life. I can remember our first meeting like it was yesterday, because this was the day my new life began. I couldn't bend, run, jump or keep up with my young son, I was 33 and had the body of an ailing woman. After three years of continual physical therapy- I needed a change and fast. Change I did- my life began to change rather instantly. I was on pain killers and anti-inflammatory drugs and Ildi's words of wisdom were "pain is in your brain" followed by "you will not need those medications any more". I became a student, leaning, practicing her rather unconventional exercises: ankle mobility, joint mobility and eye work- the eyes feed and speak to the brain, I learned. Her years of neurological studies allow her to have vast knowledge of the body, our mechanics and how everything works together. I saw her twice a week, and ten years later, once a week. I won't go into the years of exercises, eye work, movement therapy and mobility to tell you that I am a changed woman. Ten years later I can keep up with my teenage son, run, jump, lift heavy, do hard cardio workouts and basically have an excellent quality of life. Getting to this point was a lot of hard work and dedication- yes, I have had setbacks, but Ildi always gets be back on track to living a quality pain-free life. I haven't taken pain killers or any prescribed drugs in ten years. I bring my mother and son to Ildi to help with various issues they face. We FaceTime when something hurts, we text, I follow her Instagram, I see her regularly - I am truly a new woman because of her. If you have pain, limited mobility, poor posture, health concerns, can't sleep- anything, go see Ildi. She can help anyone just like she fixed me.“

“I started practicing at Radiant Yoga in fall of 2022 and had essentially no prior experience. One year later, I can truly say this studio will always hold a special place in my heart! All of the instructors are welcoming, friendly, and truly great teachers. Radiant offers a wide range of classes, from yin (peaceful and relaxing with lots of stretching) to heated vinyasa flow (a crazy good workout) and anywhere in between.Radiant helped me learn mind-body connection, and I gained physical and mental strength. Chanel, the owner, cares deeply about the studio, and her instructors do too. Stefy is the best!I can't recommend Radiant Yoga enough.“

“Blissful Monkey is an intimate, community-oriented yoga space on Centre Street. While the schedule is not packed with classes like at other area studios, there is a calmness and intentionality here that sets it apart from other studios. Everyone is made to feel welcome here!I particularly love attending Alyssa's Monday and Friday classes, as they are not too slow and not too fast. She has such a calming presence and holds space for each participant no matter how they are showing up that day. Also, there are mats that you can borrow for free, which is different than at other studios.“

“I first met Susan in the winter of 2013, when she was teaching a kickboxing class at my gym. Her class was equal parts technical and fun, and I was instantly drawn to her upbeat style and personality. I think I asked her at the end of that class if she could train me!I started training with Susan at her fitness studio shortly thereafter. I had an 18-month-old at the time, and I was looking for help getting back to my pre-baby level of fitness and also keeping my workouts fresh and interesting. We’ve been training together over 6 years, and she still has me learning new tricks every session!!Susan trained me through my pregnancy with my second child (she can do pre and postnatal!), and she helped me ease back into fitness when my daughter was 6 weeks old. She was nearly 13 pounds, so helping me recover my abs after my 2nd c-section was no small feat! When I plateaued with baby weight loss, it was Susan to the rescue again. I could only train so hard at this point, so she set me up with her reboot nutrition program. I lost 7 pounds that week, and I continued to lose after. At some point, my husband got jealous of my fitness level, and we added weekly partner sessions to my weekly individual sessions. We continued training at her studio until Susan moved to Florida, and though there are hundreds (thousands, maybe??) of trainers in Boston, we continued to train with Susan virtually. We couldn’t picture ‘breaking up’ just because of a little distance! This proved invaluable to us when we moved to Germany for a year and could still continue to train with Susan twice a week. We still train together in person when she comes back to visit, but for the most part, we continue our virtual workouts here in Boston.Susan has trained us through babies, injuries, a move abroad (and back), and the general craziness that is life with two small children. She helps keep us accountable with our fitness and always keeps us motivated. At this point, we see her more as a friend who happens to be awesome at keeping us in shape!“

“I recently moved out of Boston, and the thing I miss most about my old neighborhood is definitely Beacon Hill Yoga! Renvil, the owner of BHY/REPS, is wonderful and the studio is clean, serene, and well-equipped. I enjoyed the variety of classes and instructors and frequent additions of new timeslots and class styles. As an avid yogi and certified instructor who has belonged to many different studios, this is a top-notch place to practice. I would recommend BHY to anyone!“
