“Sensi Gabriel is a really patient and good instructor. He is currently training two of my sons, one of whom has ASD. The level of care and support from Sensi is second to none, and both boys have learned how to control their bodies and actions under his tutelage. When my daughter is fully potty trained, I expect to enroll her as well.“

“Shihan Lemay is an outstanding karate teacher, and both my son and I are fortunate to train with her. She is very detailed, thorough and adept at adapting the instruction to each individual student, be it adult or child. There is always a great atmosphere in the dojo, and everyone appreciates being there. I cannot recommend this place highly enough.“

“Glad to have a dedicated no-gi grappling gym in the area! The instructors are super helpful and attentive. Everyone training there was super friendly! The facilities are clean with a shower and changing rooms. The mat space looks very clean and modern. They provide boxing gloves to use in MMA classes which is nice for someone just starting out in MMA.“

“My daughter has not been here very long but I have never seen her this excited about an activity before! She has Autism/ADHD and it has been very hard to find spaces where she feels comfortable. I've been sitting in on her classes and the instructors are top notch! The kids love them, the classes are always high energy and very positive. The classes always have variety and the kids are always learning something new.I LOVE all the lessons that are incorporated into the class. She really looks up to these instructors and we have noticed her repeating certain things at home that she learns in class, so I believe this will definitely help her behavior and confidence. They were also SO welcoming and kind to my other daughter who has a more severe level of Autism - we had her come and do a little "interview" thing to see if she would be able to handle the classes yet. They were very patient and helpful and she was able to do much more than I thought! She showed an immediate interest the second she walked in the door, and the instructor was able to get her to smile and laugh and kick, punch, run, and more. Needless to say, she is looking forward to returning in the recommended 6 months to start her own classes :)“

“Steve Nugents karate Institute has 2 main karate schools or called "dojos", this one in Winchester and the main one on Cambridge Street in Burlington, Mass. They structure their programs around safety and awareness, overall respect, and good basic karate self defense skills. Their instructors led by Grandmaster Nugent are super trained, even in first aid and cpr, which I thought was excellent. They are super passionate and attentive toward their student and actually are quite caring, which I have never found in my searching for quality karate schools. Definitely check them out... I am very impressed !“

“We began with Elite Freestylekarate shortly after we moved here. We have been very happy with our decisions. Though I was initially put off with how speedily kids were moved along and the costs, I came to understand the necessity that given the commitment required, it is helpful to allow kids to see progress. I have seen my daughter begin to really master many of these skills as she progresses and in most classes there is always a point to stress the basics, that all the more advanced skills are built upon. I feel that all the progress I have seen in my daughter with respect to fitness, maturity, commitment, and martial arts skill have justified the expense.
