“For better or worse, I have needed eye care that exceeds that which most people have to deal with. I have been seen at the Estelle Doheny Eye Institute at USC and the Jules Stein Clinic at UCLA, among others. I think the level of medical expertise at these places has been extremely high. And, I was lucky to have been seen at them. Moving forward, I came to Louisville and brought my "eye issues" with me. I somehow found out about the Louisville Eye Center where I was told about a corrective lens (Scalero lens) that I had not been aware of before. I have gotten this lens and am now seeing MUCH BETTER than I had, perhaps ever. Dr. Aaron McNulty is a most competent optometrist who cares that you get the attention and help you need. His staff are well trained and the whole operation seems very efficient. The Dr. himself has a great "bedside manner" and everyone is friendly and helpful. When I came to Louisville, I was concerned about whether I'd find quality eye care. I'm no longer concerned. Do yourself a big favor and give them a call.“

“Generally a good experience. Doctor was thoughtful and did a great job explaining the details of each year and walking me through the results. The supporting staff were friendly and engaging with all of my questions. Felt a little pressure to buy glasses on the spot as they threw a few deals my way. Additionally, I was early for my appt and ended up waiting a long time - I was about 15-20 minutes behind schedule by the time I was seen. Suspect that was just due to the busy, lunchtime rush. Nonetheless, I'll definitely go back for regular exams as it was a pleasant visit overall“

“I visited the Louisville Oxmoor location to get an adjustment made to improve the fit, the glasses had been sliding down my nose. Chris had helped me when I first picked up the frames, and he got the adjustment done quickly and professionally. He obviously knows what he is doing and took great care to make sure they fit properly. This is an advantage over online only shops without a physical presence.“

“I liked some glasses that I saw in the Walmart Vision Center while shopping one day. While I wasn't able to have my prescription filled at this location, I was still able to purchase a complete set of glasses here with my prescription from another company.I have never received the type of service from an eye wear company as I did at this particular location. The store associate greeted me upon entering the store and even helped me while I looked for glasses that I liked. She would hand me a different pair that were similar to ones she saw that I liked. That is something I have never experienced before this visit. I have always been left to find glasses on my own. The store associate explained everything in detail from the beginning of the process, till the end, while also answering any questions I had. She was friendly, knowledgeable, helpful, polite and very easy to work with. This location will be the one I go to for glasses, from now on!“

“I had recently contacted them on the phone about my husband’s glasses that we have received from the one on Dixie and we didn’t have a very good experience. even though we had went there 12 years we had never had a problem until this last year The last time we went, so I contacted the one on Poplar level and they accommodated and fixed my husbands problem the best they could even though he still has the glasses and everything but now we can get a new pair this year that he’s been suffering with those for two years And then one on Dixie was just like oh well nothing we can do about it when it was their mistake, I mean, if it was something we did we would own up to it but it was nothing we did. It was clearly there a mistake, giving my husband, the wrong prescriptions glasses . Everyone was helpful and even though they were busy we didn’t have to wait long at all , we use to go to the Dixie location for 12 years but no longer go there due to some bad actions of them on their part . my whole family will now go here to poplar level rd location , we seen DR JULIE yesterday super sweet They know how to treat you . When I go somewhere I expect to be treated with the respect I give someone and this place did just that ! Amazing staff everyone was so friendly ! Thank you for giving us a better outlook“
“Dr. Andrew Kerns is a great optometrist. I never feel rushed during my appointments and he genuinely wants what is best for the patient. I drive across town to see him for my annual eye exam.When you are experiencing eye pain, it feels like an emergency and you want an optometrist who you trust. I was experiencing issues in my right eye and after exhausting my primary care doctor I got an appointment the next working day. Dr. Kerns solved my issues and I was feeling better that same day.“

“I went to the Dixie Hwy. location and was seen by Dr. Lannon. This was my first time going to VisionFirst for contacts. The staff was very friendly and professional. I usually go to VisionWorks but I have gotten fed-up with the long wait times (2 hour minimum per visit) for contacts only, with an appointment. I was in and out of VisionFirst in 40 minutes! I'm very happy with my new contacts. I would not hesitate to recommend this place.“
