“There were 3 reasons I called Home Comfort Services when my air conditioner failed to work properly:
1) BBB rating
2) in the last brutal heat wave my sister’s air conditioner stopped working. She called several companies to setup an appointment and was told the soonest a tech could get to her home was between 5 to 7 days. She called Home Comfort Services and they sent a tech 2 days later, and most importantly, fixed her air conditioner.
3) I was very impressed with the tech, Patrick, who was sent to my home to determine the reason my air conditioner wasn’t working. He was very thorough explained the problem, and gave me good advice as to whether I should fix a 26 year old unit or replace it. I opted to have Hone Comfort Service install a new air conditioner.
The installers, Matt and Moises, did an excellent job. They were polite, placed tarps over my carpets, and did an outstanding job installing the new unit.

“I was referred to Pro Temp of Illinois from a friend who knew Jamie, I had five quotes on replacing my HVAC and hot water heater due to being 20yrs old. Versus doing repairs, Jamie was professional and straight to the point. Didn’t ask about other quotes I had just ask what I was looking to do. When I told him all three units, he said please send me photos of your current units and spec charts. He sent me the quote the next morning and I was blown away not only with the price. The warranties as well and the actual brands. A Rheem water heater and Lennox HVAC, I scheduled the service and was done on the perfect day. Wasn’t hot at all and they completed the service same day within seven hours. I looked up all the brands quoted to me, and none came close to the quality of the Lennox and Rheem. Not only was the product better the price was $2800 less and 10 years parts & labor warranty and 20 years on the heat exchanger. Even the rep at the other company I was considering said it’s no way I can match that product or warranty. These units are whisper quiet, I had to turn down the hot water heater twice it’s so hot. I guess you don’t know your product is outdated until you get new ones. Pro Temp is top notch with us now.“
