My criteria is pretty stringent- reasonable pricing, hair lightening and gray coverage w/ the least damaging agents, the ability to listen to what I want for my hair and someone easy to walaau w/ and Sarah Rose is "The One"! Look at my hair. I love it! And she found my rightful part! Chii huuu! She gave me an appointment date and time that was very convenient and I didn't have to wait weeks. She is easy to get a hold of and is a text away. The Salon is located in the Ala Moana building and I parked on the 2nd floor of the mall. I found a parking spot right away TYJ but this may not be the case every time. The search ends here! I'm super excited. Thank you Sarah Rose!
This weekend, I got a consult and custom facial from Shawnlin and the whole process was amazing. She is super friendly and took the time to research every step of my skincare beforehand to make sure I got the most out of my facial!
Alchemy Aesthetics' new location was super easy to get to and the treatment room was so relaxing + had a great view!
Before the facial, Shawnlin went into a bit more depth about my skincare routine and goals, then had a debrief after the facial to ask me how everything felt and explained what she did, as well as how I can improve my at home skincare.
My skin felt so good right after and has been improving each day since! Shawnlin has been so generous with her quick DM responses offering skincare advice and helping me improve my routine. I can't wait for another appointment here and I'm excited to see what else she has in store for my next custom facial :)
Suzi and Noel were absolute GEMS to work with. They are talented, professional and have a great sense of humor.
Over the course of two days they did makeup and hair for me & the moms for welcome reception and wedding celebration, and I loved how both days the makeup and hair were different. Our makeup lasted FOREVER.
Their style is suitable for Asian brides who want a natural glowy look. Everything was perfection. I cannot recommend them enough.
I purchased the laser hair removal package for full legs, underarms and full brazilian. I waited until the end of my treatment to write this review (for those who don't know, a full treatment is about 8 sessions, spaced 6-8 weeks apart, for a total of about 10 months to complete). I am very happy with my results! (Just to compare, I am a Caucasian female with somewhat thick/dark leg/body hair (results do vary depending on body hair types)). After the end of my treatments, I took a vacation to Florida and didn't have to shave the whole time, it was ah-maz-ing! I am most satisfied with my bikini area - I used to hate shaving my bikini line - I always ended up with razor burn and ingrown hairs, it was always unpleasant and most of the time, I opted to wear shorts over my swimsuits instead of dealing with that area - but not this time! I had a hairless bikini line without having to do anything. I still have some slight hair growth on my legs - but it's turned into a very fine, light hair - not the thick dark hair that I was used to and the regrowth is extremely slow. I also struggled with razor burn on my lower shins...not anymore. If I do shave my legs, it's now once every other month or so. And I purchased a maintenance package to continue laser hair removal every couple of months. They are located at Ala Moana shopping center, lower level - directly next to Starbucks and the new Foodland. I never have problems finding parking, except maybe during the holidays. Their office is very cute and clean, and the front desk staff has always been warm and welcoming to me. They always ask me how my treatments were after I'm finished and make scheduling a breeze. Now for the actual treatments. I've had several different RN's perform my treatments over the course of my laser removal journey and every nurse tech has been EXTREMELY professional and nice. Let me tell you, if you are going to get a full brazilian like me, be prepared to bare all! Other than my husband and OB - no one has seen more than these nurse techs lol! But they make you feel so comfortable and not awkward at all! I was sooo nervous at my first appointment, not sure what to expect, but my fears were immediately eased. They have all been so wonderful! As far as pain goes, I didn't experience much discomfort. Their lasers come equipped with a cooling hose that blasts cold air the same time as the laser so it makes it so you don't feel much (except cold air). The only time I did feel something was towards the bottom of my shins and by my ankles - but that's where my hair has always been the thickest and hardest to shave. That same area has always been super susceptible to razor burn and painful ingrowns so I wasn't surprised when I felt some discomfort there, but it's quick and stops hurting the instant the laser is gone. It feels like someone is snapping you with a small rubber band - quick snap and gone. I would rate it a 4/10 on the pain scale. My upper thighs and bikini area barely hurt at all. I would get all of my areas done at the same time so my treatments usually ran 30-45 minutes. The only down-side I experienced (which to me, was not enough to warrant removing a star), was that appointments did usually run late, especially in the beginning months of my treatments (not so much now, I feel like they've gotten better at scheduling/double booking). I quickly adjusted and just scheduled myself 1.5 hours to be at their office each time and bring my Kindle with me to read lol. Overall, if you're looking for a comfortable laser removal experience with friendly staff and great results, check them out!
Alex is amazing just like her work! She’s very professional and knowledgeable when it comes to lash extensions. She answers all my questions about my lashes and really takes care of her clients.
Her shop is always clean, plays the best playlist, and makes it nice and comfortable when it’s time for those much needed lash naps.

Ana is my go to girl for my hair and when I heard she moved to this Salon and spa I followed her here! Everyone was quite friendly here and the prices are very reasonable! It's easy to book an appointment online and they even call you to confirm your appointment. Definitely recommend this place and Ana! lol except I don't want all her open slots to get taken from me lol kidding
In love with my new hair! I had tried to DIY highlights at home and was not liking the results at all but luckily Baya was able to fix it and restore it back to its original color as well as make my hair soft and hydrated again. She also recommended types of products to use for after care as well as tips on how to keep my hair healthy. Baya was very quick with the process while also being gentle and thorough. We recently had to evict a tenant in Kapolei, and after she refused to pick up any of her trash, we called Martin, and his team came through in a pinch. They had a roll-off delivered to our house and sent a team to fill it up. It took a whole day to remove all the garbage filling the house, but they got it done with no complaints and for a good price. We would definitely use Overit again. Thanks, Martin!

Late review!! I've seen Kathy only 2 times so far, but I can tell she is one of the best in town. Prices are reasonable compared to other salons in the area. She has an amazing personality, and does a great job at cutting and coloring.
Kathy takes the time to examine your hair before moving forward with anything and I love how the final results show up on my hair. My brown hair color matches my skin tone very well! Highly recommend if you are in town near Ala Moana and need a hair cut and/or color.

I love Winam Studio - Hillary and Anne (colorist) are absolute geniuses and gems of human beings. The studio is incredibly warm and welcoming, and the services are top notch and very affordable. For curly girls, Hillary is your go to for an amazing curly cut that grows out well and looks good from the time she cuts it to the time you need another cut. For coloring, they use ammonia free products so it doesn’t ruin your hair, yet covers grays (or whites haha) and lasts for a few months. This studio is incredible and so are the women who run it!

I was referred to Bridgette from a friend. I love very close to this salon and gave her a try. I have wavy hair and I am very picky with whom I go to when getting a haircut. I showed her a photo of what I wanted and she gave me something similar but also made sure she asked me about length before cutting. I got the Japanese head spa (basic) and a haircut here. My stylist was Megumi! She did an amazing job for both services. The Japanese head spa is definitely a splurge but you are spending most of the time getting your head thoroughly massaged! Megumi asked if the pressure we was using for the massage was good and to let her know if I wanted it to be softer or harder. The bed you lay in is also amazing. It's unlike any other salon chair. The haircut process was also very good, Megumi took her time. At the end, my hair felt so soft and healthy! I'll definitely come back next time when I'm due for a cut/trim!
A caring and attentive staff that do professional work. I’ve been very happy with my hair style each time I go to this salon. The residents and their visitors where I live always comment how nice my hair looks and many of them often ask where I get my hair done each time I’ve gone! After going blonde for sooo many years, I finally made the decision to change it up and take my chance on going dark cherry. I put all my trust into Liv and she went absolutely above and beyond. First time cutting my hair here and right from the start great service from the front desk to the barber. The barber I went with was Brian super cool guy and a really good barber and great at his craft. The vibe to the shop is excellent real vintage feel to it classic music. They even offer complimentary coffee!!. It's such a great place that I already booked my next appointment. So if guys want to experience great service this a highly recommended place. Aloha.
I usually don't care much about my haircuts. I get them because of work. I desperately needed a cut and i was on Apple Maps just searching barbershops this one stuck out and so I decided to go. I had to make an appointment for later that day which normally would be annoying but I completely understand. When I went back I was pretty whatever about the cut (usually am) but after a day or two I noticed how well of a job he did. It's been easy to style my hair and comb it. Definitely going back.

I see Yuki once a month and I honestly look forward to it every time. I pay a bit extra and get the head care package and it is 100% worth it. The salon is so calming and peaceful. Yes you could find cheaper haircuts on island, but this is the Ferrari of men’s salons - it’s in a league of its own.

Emily really knows her hair. She takes alot of time understanding your hair and explaining how your hair lays and best way to cut and maintain. Though, at $100 for a basic hair cut, and $80 for beard trim, razor shave and facial. Throw in a 25% tip and you're looking at over $225 + tax before getting out of there. She's a lot of fun, and she's worth the money, but unfortunately, I'll only be able to enjoy this luxury on special occasions.

PCS? Visiting on vacation? This barbershop is a no frills, fast, and great option to look sharp for whatever your needs. Aunty Lisa and Uncle are good at what they do. Their prices are REALLY AFFORDABLE for what the trade is charging these days, so be sure to tip well (as of Aug 2024, a standard men's cut - including skin fade - was $16). Not only are the prices good, but they do it fast and efficiently. I came here while temporarily staying in the Waikiki hotels and even though I've moved from the area, I still make it a point to go to that side of town for a cut. Cash preferred, but they take credit card with added transaction fee. You can also call to make appointments, which is sometimes recommended as they're a hot commodity. Parking is all on the street, you may have to drive up the side streets to find a spot. If taking rideshare over, check out the area for good eats and stores before or after your cut!

Flew out from NJ for a cruise and had to cancel my pre vacation spray tan last minute. We were staying for 3 nights at a hotel in Waikiki. By chance I googled spray tan, and never thought I'd find someone who would literally come to the hotel room to do the spray tan. Abby was kind and professional. Visited this nail salon for a pedicure on a whelm and was thoroughly impressed. I walked in, and in spite of having a number of people being serviced, they got to me really quickly. Kimmy completed my pedicure and did a great job removing the dead skin and cuticles, the massage was more like a deep tissue massage, but it was fine. The salon was clean and comfortable. I had the deluxe pedicure, and walked pleased. Prices were reasonable.
I was very happy with my DIP manicure with nail art. Terra is a master nail technician and perfectionist. I brought a picture of what I wanted and she duplicated it perfectly. It’s apparent that she really cares about her work and her family’s business. I also received very good customer service at Beauty Bar. I will definitely return when ever I’m in town ?
Been going to this salon for 6 years now to get a permanent straight, hair treatment and hair cut. Kevin and Sa always take care of me and use only good products. My naturally kinky hair was so dry before until I met them. I never went to any other salon since 2018. Highly recommended!

I got a pedicure from Momo-ka, she was super sweet and gentle. She is very kind. Fun conversation and great at doing nails! I paid 77 for gel and a touch up of dip on 2 nails and an extension on one. Clean and good service despite a slight language barrier. Heads up the location was a little difficult to find, it’s inside of a building hidden behind stairs but definitely worth it.
Jackie saved my wedding! Just four days before my wedding, my nails were botched at another salon. I was freaking out, but thank God I stumbled upon Arena Beauty & Nail Salon during my research. This shop is a hidden gem. It can be a bit hard to find due to the location. Its tucked in by massage envy and the post office. I love going here, I am always getting my toes done and my nails. For pedicure they use disposable tools and liners to keep everything sanitized. My toes are clean and painted and my heels are soft and smooth. For my nails sometimes I do dip powdered and other times I request for GelX. They last me 4 weeks!! The ladies here also do designs and I'm here for it! Everything I leave the salon I am always satisfied

I live in the neighborhood so it’s super convenient for me to pop by when needed, their prices are fair, and the work is quality ??

Love love love Julie! I see Julie for a pedicure and she always does a phenomenal job. I'm super picky about my toenail shape, especially the two big toes, and if they don't look the same, it'll bother me. But she always does a perfect job. If I happen to chip/break it, she can repair it so it looks looks like the other. Her pedicures are waterless (no foot soak) but I personally prefer that. I'm prone to fungus, and often times, foot baths harbour a lot of bacteria. Julie is punctual, detail orientated and super sweet!! I highly recommend her for your beauty needs!!
Absolutely outstanding service. One of the best pedicures I have ever received. We discovered this shop, which is right outside the cruise terminal, on the second day we were here. Apparently the crew uses this spot. Now we know why!

I love this salon! My tail tech absolutely perfected the shape I was wanting and gave me the best recommendations on color (I'm very indecisive). I normally leave most salons with mixed feelings but I couldn't be happier on how my nails turned out! 10/10
Been here twice now and both times I received exceptional service. Both Gel Fill and Pedi were top notch… Tina on my nails and Lynn on my toesies! No nails lifting or breaking in between services and still received compliments on nails right up before my next scheduled appointment! I prefer polish only and no designs or embellishments, but I know they do offer designs and the woman before me was real happy with hers! I will definitely continue booking with Honolulu Nails!!! Bonus….they were ready for me at my scheduled appointment time and I did not have to wait until they were finished with another customer! Thanks Tina and Lynn!!!

I've waited so long to write this review. I've been going to Babe Cave Hawaii for over a year now and had such amazing results. Everyone there is amazing, friendly, and welcoming. I first started coming here for my lashes with Candace and it was my first time EVER having lash extensions. I was super nervous and didn't know anything about lashes or what I wanted. She walked me through the procedures, made me felt comfortable, and explained the difference of length, thickness, and curls of the lashes. She asked me what sort lashes I wanted and the results were amazing. I have never felt so pretty before and the fall out within 2-3 weeks are very minimal. Since then she has been my go-to girl for lashes. Let me tell you, Emmy has saved my skin. Ever since seeing her once a month, my skin has never stopped glowing. The redness has greatly minimized and my skin is super hydrated. When my skin is feeling the worst and I start having small breakouts, after one session with Emmy my skin starts to improve drastically. She worked with me through my pregnancy hormonal changes and up until now postpartum. She is extremely helpful when it comes to my skin concerns and answers any questions I have about skin products and procedures. My skin has never looked and felt better. I highly recommend her! 10/10 Bonus: Candace and Emmy are the sweetest human-beings ever.
I have no reason to write this. Habib is in such demand, he doesn't need good reviews to keep him afloat. But having bumped into other hairdressers and encountering their tactics, I feel compelled to write about why I like Habib. Habib is an artist. He recognizes the state and shape of your hair and the state and shape of you. He has nuance when he cuts hair and doesn't try to force down a client's throat generic templates of what is "in" or what the industry is dictating looks good. I never feel belittled by his style sense or the choices I make regarding personal style or even products. Don't get me wrong -- Habib is always current. He knows what techniques and looks are the industry standard. He indeed is responsible with his craft. But he knows how to help his clients rise rather than hamstringing them into a dependency on him specifically or his product offerings. Habib is never heavy-handed about how often to get services from him, and he doesn't push products or create product dependency. The irony is that it is just that trait that causes my dependency on him specifically. I cannot say enough great things about him as a person, as an artist and the work he does. I just hope he cuts hair for the rest of my life!

I've been going to Kaitlyn for years and I'll never go anywhere else. She's so talented and gives such great care to her work. My cuts always look amazing and she listens to what I want and gives advice when I ask. She's never steered me wrong! Leading up to it, they proactively reached out for inspo photos, provided a timeline early on, and gave reminders on how to show up prepared and ready. Our artists were Dhyana, Jessica, and Nori, and all 3 of them were so nice and attentive, not to mention so talented at what they do! I didn't do a trial run and Dhyana was able to replicate the exact look I wanted. I thought Maggie was great ! My skin was super bad yall but she did her works and it was great. I have really bad discoloration and hormonal acne , I went to see her for about five to six facials every three weeks ! My skin cleared up and I just had to maintain it. Unfortunately I stopped going because it was a little pricey for me and I don't have a constant budget to get my face done all the time. Despite my financial position, I'm super thankful to Maggie for jumpstarting my cleaning routine , I desperately needed someone to really clean my face and she did it. I appreciate her so much!

I found this place near our house when my gf was looking for somewhere to get her eyebrows done. I was going to buy her a gift certificate but she looked up the prices and insisted the prices were very reasonable so she didn't want me to pay for her. Anyway, she went and came home very happy reporting that Cariann was super nice and did an excellent job including more services than she originally had planned, or at least had told me She needed. It's a small clean shop at Stadium Mall and my gf said she will continue to go there. I say that's worth 5 stars.

I've been to Sandy twice so far and will continue to keep seeing her. The first time I got my eyebrows tweezed and tinted and the second time I got them waxed. The owner Kiku is wonderful. I've gone there off & on for waxing and massages. Lately I've been training for a trail run in May and after a long run, went to have a massage on my tired legs and sore feet. Kiku's new therapist Waco did a fantastic job starting with the soles of my feet. She also worked on some knots in my shoulders that made turning my head uncomfortable. Waco then found some tense muscles that I didn't know were bothering me until she worked on them. I walked out feeling like jello and woke the next day without the usual tightness I normally experience after some hard training miles.Kiku and Waco have both given me some of the best massages I've experienced. They provide other services as well and have promotions on their website. It's a great find that I recommend to my friends.

Giving Lena a review because it looks like no one has done so since pre-pandemic. I went to Lena in September to get my eyebrows tattooed. I was super hesitant because I saw my mom do it in the 1990s and she had an allergic reaction and looked horrible for a week. Anyway, I'm getting to the point in my life where my appearance is still important to me, but I just want to look good without putting in too much effort. Yes, I am lazy. Anyhoo Lena was quick to respond to my email inquiry about what type of brow service I should do. I was initially thinking microblading because it is less permanent and seems to be popular these days, however after consultation Lena suggested getting my eyebrows tattooed. I have sparse non-existent eyebrows. I looked totally different with makeup and without makeup, mainly because I had no eyebrows. I would go to yoga work up a sweat and come out looking like a totally different person because my brows would melt off. After getting my brows tattooed, my husband says it looks like I have makeup on all the time, that's how much of a difference it has made. Like he thought I was hot before, but now I'm even hotter because I have nice eyebrows all the time. Lena did a fabulous job. My eyebrows are symmetrical and perfectly proportioned. The process took about 1.5 hours and I felt very little pain. I went back a month later and she touched up my eyebrows to make sure they were settling in well. Highly recommend Lena! Go get your eyebrows done by her, she's truly a professional at the top of her game.
I haven't had a facial like forever and this was rejuvenating and reminder to me that I should do this more often! Make sure to have a reservation first and the owner/esthetician will give instruction how to park in the building. I had 75 min facial and after that my skin was smooth and clean. I highly recommend this place!
My facial was THE most relaxing experience I have ever had. Joanna is incredibly knowledgeable and honest. She gave me a thorough assessment of my skin, offered me recommendations on products, and gave me tangible goals to work towards in my own skin-care journey at home. I got the radiant facial with a derma-planing add-on. My skin literally went from dull & dry to glowing and plump in an hour! Oh and the space is absolutely gorgeous so spending time decompressing before & after was such a wonderful treat for me.

I hadn't gotten a facial for years due to a bad experience at another location resulting in a horrible breakout all over my face. As I grow older, I am trying to up my skin care game and decided to try facials out again. I was drawn to organic spa due to the fact that they use all organic products. I had such a great experience! I had an anti aging facial. All the products smelled great and felt amazing on my skin. I was cleansed, exfoliated, massaged, steamed. She used red light therapy. I added Gua Sha and it felt so good! Dominika was great at explaining what she was doing with every step. I was so relaxed I almost fell asleep. Best part was I had zero breakouts the next day! Only soft, moisturized, glowing skin! Would highly recommend!
Aloha Sauna and Spa is a small Korean spa in Honolulu at the edge of the Chinatown area. Unfortunately because of the price of real estate on Oahu, it does not have all the features you might find at a typical Korean spa. As is customary in Korean spas, the areas are gender segregated and inside your gender-specific area you must be nude. On the women's side, there is the massage/scrub area which you'll go to if you order one of those services, and also the standard shower area, one warm pool and one cold pool, and three saunas. The men's side definitely takes the brunt of the lack of space as there is only a shower area and the massage area. There are no pools or saunas on the men's side, and there are no co-ed jjimjilbang as you might expect if you've been to other Korean spas. There is a beverage/food area but it is behind the curtain in the women's area so men cannot go there. That said, as a woman visitor, I had a nice relaxing time. The woman at the front was very kind and pointed out where everything was. She also takes the time to explain everything which if it's your first time at a Korean spa I'm sure is very helpful. The warm pool is nice and has jets, and the cold pool is ACTUALLY cold. There is a medium hot salt sauna, a hot hot clay sauna, and a medium hot steam sauna. I was a bit dehydrated that day so I wasn't able to spend that long in the saunas before I started feeling dizzy but it was nice nonetheless. I went on a Saturday in the late afternoon and there were not too many people so it was a quiet and peaceful environment in the saunas. As someone who likes going to the spa with a mixed-gender group, I wish there was enough room in the spa to really allow everyone to have the same experience. But if you're a lady bringing other ladies to the spa, this is a nice spot for relaxation. The day pass for just hanging out in the pools and saunas is a reasonable price of $35, and does not require a reservation.

So this may be a strange review because we ended up not using Tina but I needed to share thoughtful and thorough she was with me. I inquired about acne facials for my teenage son and his girlfriend. Tina took almost 40 minutes to consult with me first about her holistic approach to resolving acne due to the various types and the many lifestyle and genetic factors that go into causation. I really respected her expertise and passion. She was very honest about needing the affected person to commit to the regime and that the motivation has to be theirs, not mine. She wanted to temper expectations so that I did not waste a lot of money, time and stress over this "gift" of a facial or series of facials (or so I thought). I was very surprised that she spent so much time with me, answering questions when it wasn't making her any money. In the end I totally believe in her process, but I also am convinced that it would be too much for my son to commit to since he's laissez faire about his complexion and won't be motivated enough to see this out for months and years. I am considering doing a virtual consultation on her anti-aging regime though since she is constantly learning and defuncting many popular treatments that others push that are expensive and that will actually make the skin worse in the future!!! Tina is a true gem.
My friends and I each had an amazing facial and massage combination. Facility is beautiful and calming. Staff is thoughtful and skillful. The staff give you a half body massage with your facial. Tea and rice snack following the treatment is a great treat. I'll do this again and again. The hour facial and hour massage flew by! Price is on par with other day spas but the feeling you get is better!

When you first walk in, Hiromi welcomes you in with her warm and friendly smile. She has the right touch, as she knows where your body needs the attention. I elected for the Retreat Package (2 hours of AMAZING body massage and a facial). It was the most relaxed I felt in a long time. I've had a few different massage therapists in the past, but they don't compare to Hiromi. Now, whenever I come to Honolulu, I will ONLY go to Spalani. Hiromi is THE BEST in the business!

Adding to my tattoo collection - I wanted a koi. To do that I needed to cover up another tattoo. I was looking to find someone who understood the symbolism and would do a great job. Before our trip to the island Andre & I were communicating and set everything up. A meeting before the actual tattooing confirmed he had the knowledge in was looking for. He did a great job, the koi looks great and you can't see any remnants of the old tat.

Go see Lindsey! Me and a friend was at Ala Moana shopping around and we randomly decided to get our piercings that we've been wanting to do. Me and my earlobes and her helix. We walked in and Lindsey greeted us and we told her what we wanted. She had us fill out paper work and looked at and chose earrings that we wanted while she set up the room. She led us into her room and I decided to go first. She looked at my ears and showed me where she would be piercing, walked me through everything that would be happening, and I was pierced! It wasn't painful at all, it felt like a scratch. After that, my friend got her helix done and she informed us of the aftercare. After our visit Lindsey texted us and sent us a Piercing Aftercare pdf file and to let her know if we had any issues or questions. A month later we saw her again to let her look at our piercings and resize our earrings. Lindsey is amazing and I am happy I got my earlobes pierced by her. She is very professional, friendly, and very clean. I would definitely recommended her and I cannot wait to get more piercings

I manage an 160 unit condominium complex. We use P&S Plumbing for all of our drain cleaning and plumbing. They show on time and complete there job and never leave a mess.
I had pipe masters out today for an emergency, I had water going from two bathrooms throughout my first floor, water was everywhere. They came out quickly and were able to diagnose and fix the problem which was a blocked sewer line. They had already given me an estimate on the phone just from me telling them what was going on, and the work they did did not cost anymore than what I was initially quoted. Compared to what other plumbers charge, I thought the price was very reasonable. The plumber that actually came to the house was very friendly and knowledgeable. I will definitely call them again if I have any issues.
I just so happened to see water dripping down under the house as the shower was running. I thought to myself: Great, I'm going to need new shower values = $$$$.Got a referral to Point Plumbing and gave them a call.Kathi asked what was going on and asked me to take some photos to show her my concern and we made an appointment for Scott to take a look.Scott came on time and looked under the house. He asked me to run the shower to see what was going on. He said the drain had come undone, he went to his truck, got brackets to support the pipe and fixed it in-a-jiffy.whew, no costly repair. Bottom line: I would call them again. (oh, and they are super friendly)Side Note: when we remodeled our kitchen, Scott did the replumbing. I just didn't know it until he said, "I know this house." Ha ha.
Once again my elderly house was in dire need, we arrived home from 2 weeks on the mainlad to a situation where our water was OFF and there had been a huge leak during our absence. I called Sidney Reyes at 10:30 on a Saturday night and he answered with my name before the second ring. We scheduled for this morning and he arrived 45 minutes early and the repair was complete in 20 minutes. I cannot thank him enough. He makes me feel truly taken care of.

I live in a 50+ year old hi-rise condo in Honolulu. I had a leaking toilet tank and they replaced the bowl gasket. I also had them replace an old toilet fill valve. They take the time to make sure everything is working properly after fixing. The plumbers are very courteous explaining everything to you. They did a great job cleaning up after the work. The price is very reasonable. I will always call Ogami for my plumbing needs. I highly recommend them!
Overall 4.5 stars for professionalism, speed of service, and helpfulness.I was having some problems with a gfci breaker and called a handy man to take a look. While resetting the breaker helped temporarily it didn't address the issue. Since place didn't have a master breaker, I needed to get a licensed electrician to operate on the live wire. Progressive was able to quote me a price on the phone, and send an electrician out the next day. Electrician was very professional, very quick and also provided suggestions to simplify the circuits and also reduce costs. I also appreciated the due diligence in testing the different parts of the circuit to ensure all the pieces were lining up right.In the end electrician was in and out in less than 30 min. Cost for parts was $25. Cost for labor was $200, which I can understand (drive time, minimum # hours, etc), but was also much higher than the handyman-- if only i had a master breaker. With that said, compared to other licensed electricians price was reasonable, and I got numerous recommendations from people for Progressive. They get the job done on a tight schedule, so I'm a fan.
From my experience, I'd say I really trust this business and would gladly do business with them again.I had a minor issue where we wanted to have an electrician come out to inspect our place for any issues--as we were preparing to rent out unit out.The owner called me back fairly quickly--within 30 minutes. He explained what he could do but recommended I could do many of the steps myself. He actually took about 15 minutes to tell me the important steps to check for, which he would do normally. And if we found any irregularities we could call him back and hire him.Turns out, everything he told us to check for was A-OK. And he saved us about $300-400. I myself am a person running a service business with a clientele of repeat customers, I loved the way he treated me with respect, explained things, and helped me optimize the situation. I'll definitely hire him for future jobs. I also appreciated he had some extra connections via his family for real estate things--so that perspective was really helpful.Compared to the other two electricians I called to for information to handle this issue, Enterprise Electric handled it the best and with the Customer in mind.

Having said that Customer service was the best I’ve experienced in last 10 years. Within minutes I received a call back from a field worker who requested pictures of my panel. Within minutes I received a call back on where I could obtain the parts and the price on the parts.If I had a larger project this company absolutely would be my first call to hopefully work with!

After getting several other over the top estimates to replace my carpeting with vinyl, I contacted Ceramic Stile. Their estimate was far more reasonable. They offered practical solutions that didn't break the bank. It took about three and a half days to do the work. Jim's son helped other than the first day. Both are professionals, pleasant and easy to talk to, they cleaned up after themselves, didn't block our driveway with their vehicles, kept the music and chatter down although the latter wouldn't have bothered me. They came and left when they said they would. We are very pleased with the end result. The flooring is exactly what we wanted. It's really hard to have carpeting when you have dogs. There's no way to really keep the floors clean even if you vacuum regularly and steam cleaning periodically. I would definitely hire them again for flooring work.

My wife and I were referred to Kahala Floors by our general contractor, who was helping us coordinate the renovation of our 55-year-old house. One of the major challenges we were facing was the repair and refinishing of our red oak hardwood floors, which extend from our living and dining rooms into three bedrooms. We needed repairs to termite damage, construction of a matching extension of the hardwood flooring into an enclosed lanai area, and a complete sanding and refinishing of all of the surfaces. We also needed all of the quarter round base trim in all of the rooms to be replaced, and our wooden staircase to be refinished.
As soon as I met Shirley and we discussed the requirements in depth, I knew we had engaged the right company. She and her team were knowledgeable, professional, forthright, thorough, and flexible throughout the entire job. All of the needed materials were sourced without issues. Kevin and Brandon did excellent, skilled work removing and replacing damaged areas and adding the extension. Al and Ryan worked efficiently but carefully to make sure all surfaces were evenly sanded, imperfections were patched, and polyurethane sealant was applied consistently and smoothly. Chad and Cory did an artful job installing the new trim. Along the way all of our questions were patiently answered, and everyone did their best to minimize the impact of the work on family members occupying other parts of the house.
I've attached photos showing portions of our hardwood floors before, during, and after the job. We think it turned out beautifully, and we strongly recommend Kahala Floors to anyone doing a home renovation who has similar repair and refinishing needs.
Wow! What can I say about this company's absolutely beautiful work. I hired Sean, the owner of Finishing Touch Hardwood Floors to install, sand, and finish flooring in my home. He took his time to be sure to understand my needs and kept me informed of the progress and what to expect. Four of my other family members were so impressed, they hired him to do their floors and are extremely happy - including my mother who is a hard sell. He even installs custom borders. Friends who have seen my floors, have called him and have hired him. They have been totally impressed with his passion and knowledge. I can honestly say that from start to finish Vardit Hacmon has been working with me to get my bathroom remodeled the way I wanted it in a timely manner. As we all know sometimes things don’t go the way we hope, like ordering a bathtub it arrives a day later and the drain pipes are rigged wrong. Vardit consulted me of the situation with options, gets my ok to order another the same day and boom we back in business for installation. I really think Vardit was more concerned about finishing this project on time than I was. She was always calling to make sure there was no problem with completing this job. Did I mention her workers? After interviewing several contractors and viewing works completed and in process, we chose Homeworks for a design/build project for a total replacement of our 60 y/o Waialae Iki home. No regrets- we had our share of odd requests and HW architects and interior designers found ways to accommodate all of them and provide design suggestions we had not thought of but are now grateful for. The construction team did a masterful job translating it all into reality and worked tirelessly to get everything right- even when we were admittedly picking a few nits. Through it all, HW's senior management was always accessible and responsive.

Dean rescued us following an unethical builder on a total remodel. We have since hired him for 2 smaller projects ($5,000 range). We were scammed by an unethical builder who is now out of business. Dean was the only contractor of the 9 I tried who would take on the project. The result is a beautiful home that is built right. The reason it is beautiful is that he kept providing us with options such as trimming the windows differently. He had the knowledge and a design vision to take the project to the next level. We had a project at our daughters. The problem was access on a steep slope. Again, nobody wanted the job or their solutions were unbelievably expensive. I did not think Dean could do it because he has a small crew but he offered to come see it. He said he had done similar projects with pump jacks. The difference was that he knew about a method that nobody else considered. The third project was a replacement entry lanai on an older home. His work with Trex on the entry of the large project was so beautiful that I told him my expectations were high. I was not disappointed. The more challenging part of the project was cement work for the sidewalk approaching the lanai. Again, he knew about materials such as rebar that cannot rust and cement additives so we would not have to totally remove the old section first. Obviously Dean enjoys a challenge and thinking through to a solution. He has an amazing knowledge base of materials and options. I cannot recommend him highly enough.

We wanted to remodel our condo eventually & came across Lin Construction. Mr Lin and Megan ( manager) came out to greet us and they were very attentive especially Megan who know I am pressing for times this time around. She asked me what my preferences were and suggested to look at cabinets/ flooring at couple of different places. She took her times to meet us there and trying to find the style I am after. At the end we went to a custom cabinet place to see if my vision can become a reality and now I am waiting for a quote to see how much it will cost. Since I am not in a hurry and have learned a lot from the people on the island is to make sure all the supplies are there before work will start and that including all the appliances. Will update this post once I reach out to Megan again most likely in January before we can really starting to seriously redoing our condo since our daughter and family there for her schooling and she won't be done until June of next year
Atlas did an amazing job with our house! The pre-construction/drafting was a little rough, but everything after was great. Our project manager (Shay) and selections officer (Mika) were amazing!
Shay was very approachable and easy to get in contact with; there was a very open line of communication. She is a perfectionist, noticing even minor flaws and addressing them quickly. Shay explained everything we needed to know and answered all our questions in lay terms so we could easily understand. She assisted us even after the build was completed. We could not have asked for a better project manager than Shay.
Mika was incredible to work with. She has a great eye for finding things (e.g. fixtures, countertops, tile, etc.) that match our style and price range. She recognized flaws in the earlier plans and addressed it so the transition was seamless. It was so so so easy to work with her! She made the process exciting.

High quality service and trustworthy! It was time to do an overhaul of the yard and remove piles of green waste around the property. Cris and Jane offered a reasonable price for the job and their team finished the job in 6 hours. All of the hedges are trimmed down small and manageable, all green waste and branches removed, all weeds and weed trees gone, all working areas were left clean and neat. The team works hard with proper safety gear. Best of all, Cris and his team are friendly and easy to talk to. We are planning future home projects with this company. My family first hired Kula's Landscaping to care for my grandma's lawn when she turned it into a rental property and moved into my parent's house. Needless to say, she has had many landscapers, but none of them have shown the care, attention to detail and level of service that Kula's has. It is true--you get what you pay for. Once we saw the quality of work they did on my grandma's property, my parents hired them to work on their yard. To date, the Mossman brothers are the only people my dad has ever entrusted (aside from himself) to care for his lawn. We truly couldn't recommend them enough.

We've used Hapa Landscaping before, and have been very happy with how the crew efficiently and cheerfully pruned and shaped our lush Nu'uanu yard. The large Pak Lan, Monkey Pod, and Java Plum trees were given equal care and attention as the myriad smaller plants and palms. All tidied up and proportional; they do an excellent job.
In this instance, though, we needed a drainage solution. Our downspouts, our concrete steps and walkway, did not carry such a volume of water - it rains a lot in Nu'unau - far enough away from the house. Thanks to Hapa's plan, and the execution of the plan, new water-catching basins, on different sides of the house, connect to a new French Drain System, underground channels that join and send all roof and walkway runoff well away from the house. The grading was adjusted to accommodate a preexisting waterpipe, and a large, unexpected underground obstacle - momentarily threatening the project - was expertly overcome. An effective system - unseen below the lawn - that truly adds value to the property. Well worth it!
Brian came to our house to provide an estimate within 48 hours of us requesting one. Within a week, he and his team (2 other guys) were completing the job. They trimmed back 3 large trees, thinned out a collection of palms and even removed a small dead tree we had (no extra charge). The area was as clean when they left as it was when they arrived. Easy to work with and did what we asked taking care not to "hack" our trees but gently prune and ensure the health of the trees.

Dr. Rosala at Hawaii Cosmetic Dental has been my dentist since 2017. His background growing up in Germany has led to exceptional dental skills. He crafted a perfect crown for me that my daughter has only just now realized is not a real tooth. Dr. Rosala stays current with the latest methods and technology, and he even performs routine cleanings himself. I love chatting him up each time I visit, which I can’t say for any other dentist that I’ve had. My daughter also really enjoys the newly remodeled playground. My wife enjoys that there is a farmer’s market. As good as a trip to the dentist gets.
I've been going to Dr. Hatanaka for a few years now, and have nothing but the best things to say about him, his practice, his office and his location. Where should I start? Dr. Hatanaka is gentle, caring, thorough and conscientious. His wife, Adele, who runs the office is also always very friendly and helpful. In addition to my 'regular' maintenance, Dr. Hatanaka recently completed the final stages of my implant, which resulted in a perfectly integrated crown which is indistinguishable from my other teeth. He's very attentive to the patient's comfort, and his attention to detail is reassuring. My wife and I both go to him for all of our dental care, and love the accessibility, both in terms of his schedule and the ease of parking at and accessing his office. He explains what he's doing, and patiently answers all questions directed at him. His conscientiousness even carries over to his calls, following a visit to make certain everything's okay and welcoming return calls with any questions or issues. We are so happy to have him as our primary dentist.

Having experienced military dental facilities for the past decade plus, I was excited to have been given a referral to an outside location. I was even more appreciative to have been able to come to Leong. The woman, Jinky, who did my cleaning and numbing shots did fantastic. I have never felt so comfortable in a dentist chair in my entire life. Honestly, the most tolerable shots I have ever received. The dentist, Veene, was also wonderful. Spoke through everything in detail prior to executing actions, spoke personally about her family and kids. Overall, a very positive experience!

I have been seeing Dr Tanaka, on a monthly basis, for @ 3 years now. One of the reasons I enjoy coming is the friendly attention I receive from both the front desk (Jackie) and from the doctor himself. They both listen to me and care about my life’s wellbeing. Since seeing Dr Tanaka, I have improved tremendously in my hip mobility. I receive a full body adjustment, but, sometimes when I visit, I may have a small, painful spot that has occurred somewhere (out of the blue) because I overdid some outside activity. That’s not a problem, because Dr Tanaka doesn’t rush you out the door. Just let him know. He wants to help you. He will take the extra few minutes, to be sure that that pain is feeling better, as well. Give him a try!

I went into Dr. Berman’s office expecting a typical adjustment but was immediately greeted with a hug and a smile, followed by an hour and a half treatment. I tweaked my neck and whole upper back so bad (I woke up one morning with it messed up) and no one else could get me in that first day. But Dr. Berman responded very quick and got me in immediately. She worked out all of my tight and kinked up muscles in my neck and back and adjusted me perfectly. After the appointment I could breathe better, my face regained circulation, and I felt 1000x lighter. The pinch in my back didn’t completely go away immediately but just like she told me, it should release within 24-48 hour, and she was right. The pinch got better and better as the muscles relaxed and I am feeling great again. I recommend her to anyone with spinal and muscular issues. Thank you so much for your amazing practice!

I’ve had cortisone shots, physical therapy, acupuncture, and deep tissue massage to try help my frozen shoulder pain but to no avail. I could not sleep due to the pain and painkillers didn’t help. After just one Shockwave Therapy session, I felt a significant difference compared to different treatments before. With each succeeding treatment, the pain has decreased further to the point where it’s not an issue at night anymore! I highly recommend Dr. Ken! He was able to pinpoint the problem area and start my healing process.

I had been dealing with severe nerve pain for 30 days, and despite seeing my doctor, the pain kept coming back. I found Dr. Wyland online and decided to give him a try. Dr. Wyland came in early just to see me because of my situation I told him over the phone.
That morning, I walked in with my neck completely frozen and stiff—I could barely move without sharp pain. After just one session, I walked out smiling, with my neck free and able to move without pain. I'm going to admit I was a bit skeptical about getting aligned. But nothing was helping my hip. I would feel it crack here and there, I went to Dr. Garza for treatment and not only did he align my hip back slowly and painless but he also helped with other things such as my headaches that use to come out of nowhere ?. He goes through the manipulation and alignments in detail so you are aware of what he is going to do and not surprised. I would recommend Dr. Garza to anyone. Looking for a holistic treatment for pain management. Or if you are looking to get aligned.
Dr Paul and his team knows how to care for his patients. A respectable and likable professional. With the application of his techniques to correct the curves in my spine I was able to gain some height lost. The headaches and soreness that originally brought me to Dr Paul went away after the first couple treatments. He doesn’t accept insurance so that is inconvenient. But luckily my insurance did reimburse me for some of the treatments when I filled a claim myself. I would recommend Dr Paul to anyone who has scoliosis or other ailments that might be related to the spine.

I highly recommend calling Island Mobile Vet if you have a cat in need of veterinary care. My cat is quite timid right now since she is newly adopted, but when Dr. Osgood and Nora arrived, they were able to retrieve my cat, give her an exam, and even apply an eye ointment for my cat's infection. They were prompt, professional, and charged a fair price! It is a wonderful service that they provide.

I was preparing a stressful moving trip off island with my two cats and they were very helpful every step of the way. From preparing Health certificates that are required for airports, to treating and tending to my cats with love and care. They even double checked documents to ensure I would have no trouble during the trip to our new home. They are a wonderful team and I wished I stayed on the island to continue working with them.

With my first chicken he saved her life after she likely ate something toxic and she ended up living another few years. We needed same day help as our cats face was swelling on one side. Surf Paws gave us a same day appointment. They were so kind & asked us a lot of questions to determine what might have happened & they were spot on with a potential scuffle with another cat who keeps coming in our yard. They did a procedure to ease her discomfort & we left with antibiotics not in banana liquid form but in a little crushable tablet! Yes the banana medicine is a nightmare with cats lol. The bill was graciously less than we'd expected. Our cat is on the mend. Thanks Surf Paws! I'll be signing up my other two pets with you. They'll be in great hands.
Sometimes you just have to be an advocate for your dog when they get older. I noticed her eyes were going bad from diabetes and I really wanted to see an eye specialist. There are two on this island and this one was preferred out of the two options. It took several months for the first original appointment, which to me seemed kind of normal to see an animal specialist. But once you get in the other appointments seem to be easier. I think the one thing I noticed is that they seemed to be kind of old school. Appointments were scheduled over the phone and manually on a appointment book. Receipts are also not soft copies either to emails. A lot of times you're leaving a voice message on their phone, but it seems like the receptionist has several jobs to do there. Otherwise, everyone there is friendly and we really liked the doctor. She was so very patient and kind to nala which we really liked and always had her best interest. Some key notes - you must have a face mask on if you want to go inside. Prior to your appointment you must wait outside until you're called in for yours. The location is on a one way street in a alleyway so it's very easy to miss.
Been coming here with all my babies for the last 9 years. I’m only writing this review now because a couple of my friends had bad experiences at their vets that I was bewildered by; I told them I had never experienced anything like that at THPC so I referred them and they made an appt immediately — and were BLOWN AWAY by how amazing the staff was. Honestly, we weren’t expecting such great massages. We booked very last minute and walked from our hotel.. we did a couples massage and I wish I remembered their name, but it was a man and woman. My husband and I both were overly pleased of the best massages I’ve ever had in my life and I get them frequently. We’ve traveled around the whole world. It was a shopping mall on the third floor or fourth floor so I was just not expecting it to be just so amazing. They are professional. They are kind and they are really good at what they do. I highly highly recommend.

Tanya helped me recover from a torn meniscus in my knee. She was patient and incredibly insightful in guiding me towards recovery. The best part of my experience is that she helped me address movement mechanics in a way that will reduce injury in the future.
Business is located at Imperial Plaza 2nd floor on right of it is Fong Eyecare Vision Center which I go to. I was referred here from my friend who works at this company. My doctor's office made a request to do my physical therapy. My physical therapist Harvey did an evaluation on what I needed to work on in terms of exercises to help with my neck and shoulder. 2 physical therapy assistants looks in my file to know what exercises that I need. There is a machine which pt assistant set up so it can massage my neck for 20 minutes and heating pad under my back. While I am doing my exercises, they are helping at least 2 other people with their exercises. After I am done with my exercise, Harvey massages my neck and back. HMSA will only allow me 10 physical therapy sessions. At last session, physical therapist will do his evaluation.
A very good place to get Chinese medicine treatment. Price is affordable. Very thorough and skillful. Highly recommended. Acupuncture for my back and shoulder pain relief worked very well. Herbal medicine is also very helpful.
Dr. Kawamoto did a thorough evaluation of my injury and background medical history before beginning my acupuncture session. She was able to locate the specific area of pain. She completed the session by stimulating these areas effectively and giving me specific exercises to work on and strengthen before my next appointment. I have had success in managing pain on a previous situation with Dr. Kawamoto and look forward to my next session.

Mei Li is an amazing chinese doctor/acupuncturistSince 40 years I'm having acupuncture in Belgium and also several in Honolulu. I asked for something for the pain, she asked me where was the pain, I answered my wrist. She immediately knew which Chinese Herb I needed and explained the instructions on taking it. I got results that same day. The pain was gone, including the other pain in my body. It was wonderful. I wish there was a bigger Bottle. Thank you!!

COME HERE FOR CUPPING THERAPY! I tried cupping for the first time because my shoulder, upper arm and neck area have been super tense with poor blood circulation, and it was the BEST DECISION! You can tell the owners are extremely knowledgeable and experienced. They're so kind and guide you through every step and make sure you feel comfortable. I had such a pleasant experience. I'll definitely be going back once a week to continue cupping.

Clear Path is partly run by Maire and Joe, the latter of whom also owns and works at Kama'aina Acupuncture. Some content in this review for Clear Path also appears in the one I wrote for Kama'aina, as I've received treatments from him at both places.Unlike at Kama'aina, Clear Path doesn't use a sliding pay scale. This is a kind of higher-end version of Kama'aina, one where sessions are conducted in private rooms. It is to me reminiscent of some luxurious Thai massage spas that I experienced in Chiang Mai and Bangkok; the vibe is very relaxing, the sounds and aromas and fragrances sleep-inducing. It may be a little unusual to mention this, but the interior design is beautiful; I feel that online photos don't do it justice. They re-sourced materials from the Old Spaghetti Factory (stained-glass window) and the old Klum gym floor from UH, as well as many other architectural structures from around the island, incorporating the materials into the clinic's walls and counters. Stories about each section are pretty interesting. I just mention it because the creativity of design to the interior contributes to the overall atmosphere. Some people need solitude and a certain ambiance to feel rested, in which case Clear Path might be their preference.For those who worry about pain during treatments, I would say that I barely feel the needles enter my body, and the feeling itself is not unpleasant. The needles are extremely thin, not anything like the kind you'd use for sewing. Also, acupuncturists use plastic tubes to guide the entries of the needles, so each application takes a fraction of a second in which they tap the needle into the skin. (I believe this is generally the practice these days, because it was the same when I received acupuncture in Japan, where I lived for 21 years.) To me, it doesn't hurt at all. I feel less sensation from it than being pinched by someone's fingernails. Certainly, it's nothing like receiving an injection or giving blood. Acupuncture needles are so much thinner, and the time of entry so much quicker, that they are nothing like being pierced at a clinic or doctor's office. Oftentimes, with Chinese (and other non-Western) medicine, it can be hard to quantify results, or to clearly define them. For example, if pain goes away after a treatment, many skeptics might wonder if the acupuncture was the cause, or if it had more to do with the mindset of the patient. In other words, do we feel better afterwards simply because we believe we do? Is there a sort of placebo effect taking place? I understand that perspective. In my sessions with Joe, I can recount two specific instances of tangible results. This may be more information than the reader wants, but one of my issues being treated has been acid reflux. Had it for the first time recently. Although it still recurs once in a while, my condition has been much better since starting his treatments. I mean this along the lines of physical symptoms as well as feelings of discomfort (which can always be physical and/or psychological). In my situation, I would say that the physical symptoms noticeably lessened.The other example was Joe's treatment for one of my eyes. Over the last few years, every once in a while, capillaries in the whites of one of my eyes burst, and it becomes blood red. It doesn't hurt at all, and it doesn't affect my vision, but it can look pretty terrible. Usually takes a few weeks to clear up. After a session with Joe, most of the red was gone after two days. I was astonished. I'd never seen it disappear so quickly. I don't have evidence that it was because of Joe's treatment--I suppose acupuncture is like that, you don't have hard evidence of its effects--but I certainly don't think it was coincidental, and I credit his skills with the needles for my eye's return to quick normalcy.I haven't yet received treatments by Maire. I would like to note that, when I first contacted her for one of my relatives who was seeking treatment
Doctor Christina has been helping me over 6-7 years now she helped me avoid toxic foods that were draining me and making me sick. She fixed my body and changed my diet which improved my health 100%! She also has helped me get into my best health for Jiu Jitsu competitions which I were able to perform incredibly well and win! I don’t think I could have achieved any of my wins without her. Every check up and treatment she helped me improve greatly without drugs. I’m so grateful for her help. She is a lifesaver for me absolutely the BEST!
I live in the SF Bay Area, but I will fly from the Bay Area to see Dr Wong in Honolulu. I have had a hard time finding a good acupuncturist in the Bay Area. Most doctors care more about money rather than treating patients. Dr. wong was nice and very patient. She took time to explain my problems, even patiently teaching me how to diagnose my problems myself by looking at my own tongue. She really helped me improve and get better.
I cannot stress it enough that Stacey Domingo is an AWESOME instructor in the classroom and behind the wheel! She is very patient and very flexible with her schedule. I would recommend her ANY DAY! she is AMAZING!! Thank you Mrs. Domingo for your time and patience!

I would recommand this~After i took my lesson from my instructor mr. James onishi i feel so confident! Before i didnt know how to turn my car or drive straight but after i took his lesson i got better^^ i would recommand anyone to him if your willing to learn driving! Its worth it! I've only had two lessons with Rojo so far, but he was really nice and patient. On the first day, we already dove into parallel parking, and I am really bad at regular parking already, so when I was able to perfectly do it with his instructions, it boosted my confidence in parking. I haven't had any recent sessions with him as I am busy with school work, but he is always very accommodating. I had to reschedule my driving lessons a couple of times, and he was always willing to do it on another day or time. He is someone that would go beyond to teach you how to drive, he even drew me a diagram of how to parallel park and even writes steps down for you to memorize. He also has a brake pedal on the passenger side of the car so I was felt very safe.
