Ali'i Animal is easily the best vet clinic on island and they just opened a location in Kahala. We have been a couple of times as we try to see Dr. Cook, wherever her rotation might be during the week. Kahala is more intimate than the Kaka'ako location, but the service is still excellent. Likewise, the Kahala location was one of the drop off locations for donations for animals after the Maui wildfires. I was impressed how quickly they sprung to action and I believe some of the vets and vet techs flew over to assist.

My previous vet didn't want to write a prescription for my 15 year old furbaby unless he underwent a battery of tests. I knew his health was failing and I just wanted to love on him when his final moment came. So I found this new clinic in the Kahala area and made an appointment for him. He was thoroughly checked by Dr Rankin and she answered my questions about my senior dog. I explained that I didn't want to subject him to needles and exams by doctors who would charge thousands of dollars to extend his life by just a few months.
