IYSDC is a wonderful Iyengar Yoga studio with a wide variety of teachers and class levels for new and long-term practitioners alike. Super friendly and supportive teachers and students, lots of props and an awesome rope wall. About 1.5 years ago, I returned to yoga after a long absence and within a week, I'd signed up for classes every day. The mix of teachers keeps it fresh and interesting but ALL of them keep you safe, confident, and growing in yoga. I cannot rave about IYSDC enough! Come see for yourself!

I attended Silent Dance Centre six days a week with two classes a day. This is a superb place to study Iyengar yoga,; the calibre of instruction, the support of instructors and other students, the amount of props, and the long standing community of yogis would be very difficult to find else where. This is not a young crowd, rather a group of yogi devotees that started studying here in the 70's and have managed to create a very wonderul and exceptional place. I love it very much. Every class I attended I would learn something new and I would try as many instructors as I could so I could mazimize my learning. Instructors are skilled, compassionate, and patient. You are corrected if pose is incorrect with safety in mind. There are skill levels allowing you to achieve at own pace. Membership is available for discounts on classes. First class is free. Give it a try! Stephen
