“As an Interior Designer I knew trying to do a whole house renovation in Sarasota Florida from long distance would be difficult. I would need to find a quality contractor, reliable, honest and with some taste. I found all this and more with Royal Remodeling & Design.Stan started the process by carefully listening to our needs and goals and producing computer designs of our kitchen and bathrooms that clearly defined the project. Their showroom on Main Street downtown Sarasota allowed us to pick out all finishes at once including cabinets, quartz countertops, porcelain tile wood planks and other products to making sure the colors and textures flowed. He worked with us to find the perfect tile backsplash and fit in desired kitchen appliances.Vik, our project manager on the job, was patient, efficient and very detail oriented. Their subs and employes were all perfect craftsmen and we never doubted the quality of construction. Vik made sure we were aware of any problems and also made sure they were resolved to our satisfaction.We could not be happier with our “new” home and our time trusting Royal Remodeling & Design. “We asked Sal Pillegi to partially enclose an oversized courtyard by constructing a home office. His challenge was preserving the remaining courtyard in the heart of the house and matching the exterior and interior styling of the existing home so that the improvements appeared to be original construction. His task was complicated by Covid, hurricane Ian, and related supply chain issues, but he and his work family rose to the occasion. The result was simply amazing, fabulous, and greatly exceeded our expectations. Sal is professional, price-conscious, knowledgeable, and attentive to detail and his client’s issues. The engineering competence, professionalism, transparency and integrity of the entire Godfrey staff and its contractors gave us confidence throughout this major undertaking for us and our home.At the beginning of our complete interior home renovation, Ed, Don and staff presented us with a comprehensive proposal, including a breakdown of all costs and a detailed set of 23 drawings that Don kept updated on a regular basis and when a change order was needed or requested by us. Our renovation lasted 4 months and included replacing 2,000+ sq ft of flooring, replacing our kitchen and two full bathrooms, upgrading our electrical, lighting, and plumbing systems, and a complete interior re-painting, along with other upgrades.While we were away during the renovation, Don and our project manager, Anthony, kept in virtually daily contact by text, email and phone. Godfrey also uses an easily navigable web site with complete job, management, financial and contract information. Daily or several times weekly, the web site was updated with a description of the day’s/week’s work with photographs and a description, and a text reminder was sent to us. “After getting 4 bids I hired Blaine with Catalina Construction Inc to completed a large porch addition and new roof on the entire house. In addition he removed a fplc and installed sliding glass doors in its place. I was extremely pleased with the entire process. Blaine was very responsive and made sure that all work was completed to my standards and his. Due to the large scale of the project I had additional work, or details that I missed, and Blaine had no problem working with me to complete.
