I had such an amazing experience with Sylvia today! I have wavy/curly hair that really needed some TLC. Sylvia asked me questions about what my typical routine was, how long I liked to spend on my hair, etc. so she could cut it in a way that worked with my routine. As she was cutting and styling my hair, she walked me through the entire process and why she was doing certain things. I liked that Sylvia was gentle. I have a tender head and I wasn't uncomfortable at any point. Sylvia is great at what she does and made me feel comfortable and welcomed the entire time. I'd recommend her to everyone, especially if you have curly hair!

Have had long, mostly straight hair for some years, went in to see Emma R. with some photos and ideas, and came away utterly satisfied with a great, layered, sophisticated, perfectly shaped short haircut. My hair is unusual that it's very fine and very thick natural blonde where every cut shows. Emma did an amazing job! I’m new to the area, so it took me a little while, but I have found MY barber!!! I’m getting married in two weeks, and my fiancé suggested that I use her two son’s barber, Earl. I needed a haircut and my beard trimmed. She set an appointment for me online and I walked in and immediately was impressed with the setting. It’s like walking into an old time barber shop. I was surprised there weren’t a bunch of guys just sitting around and chewing the fat while Earl gave haircuts. But it was just Earl and me. I usually get a haircut every 3-4 weeks, but it had been 6 or 7 weeks since my last haircut. So I told Earl I was getting married in two weeks and I usually cut my hair very short (to the point I can’t even comb it, I just have “bed head” all the time), but I told Earl that since I’m getting married, my hair and beard were at his disposal and I wanted his recommendations on what would look best on me. He suggested a “gentleman’s cut”for my hair and to taper the beard to elongate my face. I said that sounds great! Over the next 30-45 mins I had one of the best barber experiences I’ve ever had. Earl is a great guy to talk to. Plus he kept checking with me to make sure I was okay with what he was doing, which I was. Once the Gentleman’s cut was complete and he made sure I was happy with it, he moved on to the beard trim. I’ve only had a beard since the beginning of the year, so I’ve been struggling to figure out how I should trim my beard. But Earl knew exactly how I should have it for the shape of my face and head. When he was done he explained what he did and told me that if I need a trim before the wedding to give him a call. It was a great experience! And like I said, I have found MY barber!!! Thanks Earl!!!

Naomi, Cathy, and Yen are all amazing at doing acrylic nails. I have been going to this salon for about 1.5 years. I absolutely love love love going there. I searched for a very long time for a place that had great customer service and that I loved my nails after I left. Fancy nails checks all the boxes for me. They remember me each time I'm in and they genuinely care about you as a person. They are so much gentler with your nails than any other place I have been. I just can't say enough good things!

I have been going to Kenda regularly for Brazilian and extended bikini waxes for the past 5 years. Prior to seeing her I always struggled with ingrown hairs due to having sensitive skin and fair complexion. Kenda helped me establish a consistent waxing routine and home care regimen and now skin issues are hardly a thing!

I got my tongue pierced and she talked me through the whole entire process. she made me feel extremely comfortable walking in , and just getting it pierced. it is EXTREMELY clean in here and honestly the most comfortable place you can go for a tongue piercing! i will never go anywhere else even if i move out of town. She is going to be my go to person forever!

Was difficult to find any plumber willing to come out on Christmas weekend to fix clients plumbing issue with hot water tank. Most calls to other businesses went to answering machines even when their business profile on Google Maps states 24-hour service. Even though the charge to come out on a holiday weekend seemed a little much, we were appreciative of their prompt service.

Adam and his helper cleaned our bedroom carpets and tile/grout in kitchen and hallways. He was very friendly and professional. I wish I had taken “before and after” pictures of my tile and grout because the results are fantastic! Grout now matches original color, even though it’s 20 years old! Dr. Davis is top-notch clinically and runs an efficient, friendly practice. The dental hygienists are the best. I just had a procedure done and he and his assistant took great care to address some unique medical issues I have. My father was a dentist so I have very high standards -- and Dr. Davis measures up in every way.

I have a lot of anxiety regarding the dentist due to past problems. Natalia had excellent communication and helped me with rescheduling when my household was sick, and when I came in for my actual appointment Jody was calm and explained everything to me so I understood what was going on. It had been notated in my chart that I have anxiety around dentists and everyone was extremely kind. The gentleman who took my x-rays was also kind and made sure I felt comfortable while I was getting the imaging done. I had a wonderful experience and feel like I can go back without needing someone to come with me now! I’m grateful to be a patient where there is so much compassion put in to patient care.
I am just starting a new "journey" for sustained dental care. My initial office visit at Larsen Dental was very pleasant. Initially, I had some reservations about going because of some prior dental experiences, but this visit was calm, friendly and accepting. Dr. Larsen's team that I interacted with were all very friendly, easy to talk with and fun! When Dr. Larsen met with me, he was extremely cordial and definitely knowledgeable -- and he discovered the source of some pain I was having within moments. I feel like I have found a great team of professionals!

I value his perspective so much! I recently switched my children over to this office. My kids loved it and were treated like princesses! I can honestly say that Dr. Engler is outstanding. He provides treatment with compassion and expertise, listening carefully to concerns and working with experience that is unmatched. He draws on his experience in physical therapy to make adjustments easy and comfortable. I’ve found neck adjustments to be painful and a little unnerving with other practitioners, but he always makes neck adjustments pain free. I book an appointment with him as often as I can when I’m in the Grand Junction area—and I’m from out of state—that’s how good he is. I can’t recommend him enough!

I had poor digestion which was very uncomfortable with gas and bloating. My body ached all over, muscle aches, stiff joints and arthritis. I had a general feeling of being “sick” all the time with low energy and low stamina. I was afraid I might die soon. Within six weeks of seeing Dr. Andrea Jordheim, all those symptoms are gone! It wasn’t easy and it took self-discipline, but it was worth it. I lost 10 pounds. I feel alive and vibrant again! I really do believe she saved my life.
Over the years I've seen a lot of different chiropractors during my travels. I moved to Grand Junction a year ago and saw two different providers before finding Dr Annie. It's official! She is my new best ever chiropractor. My shoulder had been hurting for 2½ years. I've had injections, medications, and physical therapy but nothing has helped. On my second visit Dr Annie focused on that shoulder and I left there with no pain. She is amazing! She uses muscle testing and what I call a thumper. She is excellent at reading the muscles and only adjusting what needs to be adjusted. She also has a laser. I'm looking forward to a long relationship with her. I highly recommend and will visit with her regularly.
I started seeing Dr Gochee just over 3 months ago for a rib that was out for over 2 years that no other practitioner, including chiros could help me with. It caused severe nerve pain down my arms affecting my neck, shoulders and back. I've had 2 cervical surgeries which helped to a degree, but no one has been able to alleviate this pain. In March I had a twisting injury that has caused a more severe and chronic exacerbation of symptoms. On the very first visit she got that rib back in place and it's never gone out again. Doing so cause my other side to go out which as been quite a painful process, but as of this week, for the first time, a chiropractor actually helped me and I've been pain free for 3 days which is a miracle. Her approach is unique, she heals from multiple perspectives, no treatment is the same. As a nurse and alternative healer myself, I feel very blessed to have found someone who does more than a "crickety crack" treatment. I wish I would have found her 35 years ago, but am so grateful for the miraculous healing I've had with her now.

I was referred by a friend and very happy about it. I thought I needed a chiropractor to adjust me as my back was in terrible pain (lower back). Dr. Jones assessed me and told me what I needed to hear; it was muscle tightness and lack of stretching/years of abuse to the body. He has treated me several times with therapies that include physical therapy, stretching, massage, and chiropractic treatment and my acute pain is gone. Dr. McFarland is amazing! I highly recommend Abundant Health! I’d give 10 stars if I could. She has helped my dog Mason numerous times with his back and legs issues. There have been times when his back was out so bad that he could hardly walk and she has always got him walking right and made him feel immensely better. She is patient, caring, understanding and extremely knowledgeable about animals, people and medications. She has been able to help him more than my veterinarian with back, leg and joint issues. This is the best vet I have ever met. A lot of vets nowadays are trying to find a way to make you spend a lot a little extra each time they see you. This that does not do that. He is just a very honest and extremely caring doctor. I feel like he cares about me and he cares about my cat. I cannot say enough about him. There is no reason to go any other vet or clinic.

I am currently taking my 15 year old dog to see Dr. Katie for hydro therapy and acupuncture. My dog has arthritis, but she is showing a lot of improvement from being able to get up and down better on her own, standing longer, better gait, and more energy.

Our dogs were way overdue for their grooms. Charlie got us in at her earliest convenience and did a wonderful job. Tux and Zulu have been groomed by her mother since they were 6 months old. Her mother referred us to this location and Charlie did amazing. Tux and Zulu got all cleaned up and smell amazing! She was insanely quick for two dogs and they were dry and ready to go! She also is very affordable compared to many other locations when I was shopping around. We will be furever clients now!

Absolutely blown away by the amazing quality and gentle treatment given to our dogs. Their prices are very competitive and we think they are the best value for dog grooming in all of western Colorado. The staff are very professional and always take their time to give us feedback on our dog’s grooming experience. They have even performed 1st aid when they discovered and removed a foxtail stuck in one of our dog’s paw. It’s clear that they love our animals as much as we do and that’s about as good as it gets. I think they are a fantastic value and you won’t be disappointed if you take fur babies there.
I’ve been taking my maltipoo Willow here for 4 years and the team is amazing! We just got a new puppy Ivy and she had her first groom here as well and they are the best! My dogs are left in wonderful loving care and always look amazing and sooooo happy when I pick them up. They are the BEST groomers in town! I won’t trust anyone else.

Words cannot begin to describe this wonderful hidden gem of a studio! I was on assignment at the local hospital and decided to take a couple of classes with the colder weather change. From the first interaction with the owner on the phone to every instructor I encountered felt authentic and genuine. They remember you and your name and you instantly feel like a community member! The class rooms accommodate the class size and I personally prefer heated sessions which they end with a chilled essential oil towel (if you desire). I took a few of the non heated, stretch, and meditative classes as well and they did not disappoint. I’ve been to many studios across the country and the talent that teaches here is phenomenal! I also enjoy that the website provides a brief bio on the instructors to get a feel if their class will be a good fit for your style. My personal favorites were Matt and Monica to guide my practice. If you’re like me who travels and has taken many classes at several studios or a newbie don’t hesitate and book this studio! They will welcome you and honor the space. They are also accommodating to being on call (I simply put my pager/phone on vibrate and personal choice to stay by the door should I have to step out early).Thank you Yoga V!

I was hurting from very sore muscles and have headaches all the time at least three times a week.
