“Marcera Crematory is located in a light industry neighborhood. With nearly no parking. I managed to find 1 open spot, 3 doors down, had to parallel park between 2 parked cars.
The Crematory has very limited signage, drove by it twice. Ring the doorbell for assess. I was there for the pickup of my adult Daughters remains. I only interacted with 2 employs, both were friendly and helpful.
At my request, they even transferred the remains from the urn that we originally ordered to the urn my wife had chosen later, that I had brought with me. If the need should arise, I would use their services again. But then, I am an industrial type person and am comfortable in an industrial environment. More white collar type persons may be put out by the industrial environment.“

This was the first time I have had to navigate end of life affairs and it was for my grandfather who requested be buried at the Riverside National Cemetery. They made all the arrangements for his burial and the service went flawlessly. From the first phone call made a few days before his passing, to the transporters who came at 2am, to the thoughtful texts and letters sent after his service, this duo's experience and care shows. The chaplain Greg Anderson was exceptional as well. The staff present for the viewing were very helpful and polite and looked sharp and respectful for the occasion. “Amazing from beginning to end. My mother expressed how professional and genuinely caring this team was when she and my uncle were looking for a funeral home. She had found them from our church Sunday notice and they were responsive and very detail oriented.Emotions are very difficult to navigate when you lose someone and I took the role of communicating my mothers wishes to the staff on the viewing and the woman who was with us through it all was phenomenal. I am grateful that they were able to care for all our needs during our difficult loss.We had the same person throughout the viewing, church service, and the funeral at the cemetery. She was very respectful and was well organized to get everything done that was needed.“

Olive Memorial Park and Mortuary, we were greeted with sympathies by Claudia and Patrick who patiently explained clearly what was included in the package our parents had purchased. They were so accommodating when we asked to switch the plot where our dad would lay as his final resting place a few days later. Peter was on hand to help with flags and was there to help on the burial day. Bridget took the time and was hands-on on burial day to help organize and she even shoveled some dirt herself. Overall, without Claudia, Patrick, Peter and Bridget’s assistance, our dad’s funeral wouldn’t have been as smooth or organized as it was. We’re eternally grateful for their work and please extend our thanks to each of them individually.“
