Amazing from beginning to end. My mother expressed how professional and genuinely caring this team was when she and my uncle were looking for a funeral home. She had found them from our church Sunday notice and they were responsive and very detail oriented.Emotions are very difficult to navigate when you lose someone and I took the role of communicating my mothers wishes to the staff on the viewing and the woman who was with us through it all was phenomenal. I am grateful that they were able to care for all our needs during our difficult loss.We had the same person throughout the viewing, church service, and the funeral at the cemetery. This is my honest review for Hilgenfeld Mortuary and my funeral director, John Huh. Making funeral arrangements is not something we want to even think about. But when the unfortunate situation arises, there may be confusion and uncertainty about what to do next. This was my situation at my mom's sudden and unexpected passing at age 64. Hilgenfeld Mortuary provided a beautiful funeral service for my family. The process of making funeral arrangements can be challenging, but thanks to John Huh and Richard Kim, we were able to navigate it smoothly. During our meetings with Mr. John, he emphasized the importance of handling funerals with great care since they are one-time events that cannot be revisited.
