“Found iYa Taekwondo to celebrate my son's 6th birthday. In my search for a ninja party, Ms. Zai was the most responsive and helped provide all the info I needed. Planning was so easy and she even provided a personalized RSVP website for our guests. For parents, it was absolutely stress-free and Ms. Xai and her helpers did everything from providing food and drinks, setting up, checking the guests in, keeping all the kids engaged, and clean up! They are the best and I'm so thankful!! For the kids, this was all their first time to there. The staff had a schedule for them for the full 2 hours. They learned taekwondo concepts, some basic moves, and had so many games. They all had such a great time and Ms. Xai and the team were so good with the kids. I would 100% recommend others to celebrate birthdays there. At the end, some of the parents (including us) took packets home for learn more about the classes.“

“Tokon Martial Arts is a great place to start learning Shotokan karate. The senseis and instructors there are great and very knowledgeable. They take the time to make sure that you are learning properly and set you up for success as you continue growing at the dojo. The community at the dojo is very welcoming. The dojo is a great place for kids to learn and they have a great adult program for anyone starting their karate journey later in life.“

My son has been attending this studio for two years and believe me when I say that his confidence has grown. He always thought of himself as "not athletic" because he wasn't into what some consider more traditional sports. “Although a small judo club, the dojo directed by Sensei Harvey and Mac teaches judo to its full potential with techniques that work in self defense and in competition. At first I didn't really like judo that much but after a couple months I felt like I belonged... And you should to because everybody is kind and will teach you at your own pace and speed. In the end, you will be the best judoka of you, all you need is passion and commitment. In conclusion, the Sacremento Judo Club is a great judo club that I recommend to all you judokas or people wanting to learn self defense.“
