She is first and foremost a warm, supportive and nurturing human being, who also happens to be a highly skilled and knowledgeable retinal specialist. She has an empathy for her patients that is both comforting and inspiring. She excels at treating her patients as real human beings, and not as walking medical numbers. Dr. Hwang recently transferred to Oakland Kaiser from the Vallejo Kaiser. Fortunately, this has cut down my driving time from over an hour, to just 25 minutes! Oakland should feel fortunate to have someone of the caliber of Dr. Hwang in it's fold!“

She's really empathetic and outgoing, which makes me feel like a close friend, rather than a customer or patient. The workers have been attentive, and I've made various purchases of contact lenses and glasses without any problems. They really specialize in luxury brands too, like Gucci, Tom Ford, Bvlgari; overall, I love the vibe and energy Dr. Le and her people bring into the world of monotone businesses. :))“

The doctor was kind, highly communicative, professional, and my eye exam was thorough! They tested the cheap glasses that I bought at other places and found out the prescription lenses did not match my prescription! They also fixed a pair of glasses for me for free. Thanks to their super great optician, I bought two great-looking, very reasonable priced pairs of glasses and frames too, and I can't wait to pick them up! And they take my insurance!
