“Mr. Man-Wa Lam diagnosed my misaligned eyes when no other optometrist since the 3rd grade bothered to test me for it, meaning I've gone through a quarter of my life without understanding where a lot of my regular "tension headaches" or double vision have come from. My headaches got so bad, that I went to a doctor, and it was chalked up to seasonal allergies (!). Mr. Man-Wa Lam received his license to practice optometry first in the UK, and then in the US. In the UK, it's a must to be be tested on misaligned eyes on the final exam, he says. Whereas, Mr. Man-Wa Lam noted he was taught about misaligned eyes in America, but not tested on it in the final American exam. If any of the 15+ American optometrists I've seen for the past 17 years caught this condition early on, I would have sooner received the proper prescription for my glasses (which I now need to replace after getting a new prescription just 3 months ago). Instead, I've had varying prescriptions, with higher powers prescribed for my stronger eye, and never the correct powers to correct my misalignment. I am so thankful that Mr. Man-Wa Lam cared to ask about my headaches, and went the extra mile to administer the additional test to identify my misaligned eyes, even though I was only there for a contact lens exam! Wow, superb service. I highly recommend going here! P.S. If you have misaligned eyes, contact lenses are not able to correct for this right now.“
