He uses my preferred shingles brand, Certainteed (again no expert, but I did my research aka.a bunch of YouTube videos and some articles ;)). We scheduled 7 weeks out which gave me plenty of time to get HOA approval. His team was on time, respectful of our house, cleaned up really well and damn fast. Shout out to Jesus and his crew!
There was nothing funky in the whole process and Bill went over every point in the contract with me making sure I knew what I'm signing up for! He kept me updated during the work.
With the quote he provides a list of houses his company has done with shingle type and color used. All over Orange County, so you can go look at however many houses you wish. He also offered to work with a potential Solar Installer if I go down that route to ensure they do the right thing and don't mess up his roof. There is really nothing more I could ask for! My neighbors already signed up with him as well!“

“I interviewed 4 roofers all recommendedby friends. Pacific Crest was the only company where Jay (the owner) and his foreman (Mark and Helio) came out to meet me in the first meeting. They answered every question, and as I had several questions in the process, they even came out more than once as a team. They were responsive to each question or revision to the bid which I found invaluable, because it is alot easier to change things on paper than on the actual roof when it's in process.

“Had a leak in my tile roof and called Damond out to take a look. I thought I had an underlayment problem and was ready to tear off an entire section of roof but he inspected and determined that it was just a flashing issue which he repaired at far lower cost than I expected. He's a busy guy (this happened in late fall just before the rainy season) so I had to wait a while for the work to be done but once completed the problem was solved. William came out and did the inspection and explained exactly what they would need to do to fix this recurring problem. They arrived on time, were very professional and thorough, locating the leak location after pulling off the tiles and old paper. They also discovered that the builder had not used the proper flashing size around the vents on the roof and they corrected this problem as well. The contract was very detailed and spelled out exactly what the scope of work would be to complete the job. There were no surprises and the bid price was fair for the work completed.
