“I love inner fire yoga! I have tried a few other studios, but nothing comes close to IFY! I feel welcomed, accepted, and inspired each time I visit.“
“I have been seeing Hannah for massage as often as I can for about a year and a half now. She is hands-down the best masseuse I’ve ever experienced. She pays attention to the smallest of details, like whispering while in session, observing and mobilizing the joints, and using continues motions that never feel jarring. Her energy is warm and allows you to completely relax. I never feel like “just another client,” even when months go by without having an appointment. I will never go anywhere else!“
“Will is amazing. Magic explodes from his hands and will put you back together every time. I don’t know how he does it but I am certain to keep his name on my calendar!“
“My sessions with Katy have helped me in so many ways on my journey to wellness. I love her intuitive style. She always brings exactly what is needed in the moment. And her cues are perfect! Not only is Katy clearly a really great teacher, but she is also a kind and caring person.“
“Harbor Wellness is a part of the Harbor Athletic Club. The two buildings are split by a parking lot. Harbor Wellness contains three main studios for pilates, yoga, Tai chi and other similar classes. On the second floor there is a workout area with treadmills and some lifting equipment. Also on the second floor is a beautiful studio for pilates reformer, chair and tower.“
“It's been a while since I've attended any yoga classes anywhere, but many years ago I suffered a knee injury while snowboarding, and once I as able to walk again I found the best things for getting my body back into balance were light swimming/walking in a lake or pool, ankle weights for strengthening my leg muscles, and yoga at InfiniteFlow with Kiro. The space in calm and inviting, Kiro is very knowledgeable and kind, and his more gentler style of flow yoga was perfect for what I needed at that time as apposed to a hot yoga or faster flow yoga. Kiro has been teaching for quite a while, and his experience is reflected in his yoga classes. I highly recommend his classes for both those just getting into yoga and those more experienced!“
“Perfect for the newbie, like me, and for those who practice daily. The instructors are knowledgable and extremely welcoming. I enjoy the restorative class on Wednesdays which is the perfect midweek wind down from stress built up. Highly recommended!“
“We've lived in Madison for a few years now and have been attempting to get back into Iyengar Yoga (which we did while we lived in Las Vegas and it helped our pain soo much). I have some chronic sciatica pain that flares up every now and then and lately I've had some ankle pain. I refuse to turn to pain medication because I don't want to be dependent on them and I refuse to have any surgery because surgery isn't a good long-term solution. And my husband has some chronic back pain and he won't turn to pain medication for the same reasons. Enter: yoga! (More specifically, Iyengar Yoga) We did the Level I Iyengar on Sunday with Katie. I loved the unpretentious atmopshere the room has. Katie was very welcoming and understanding of the limitations we have due to pain issues, which, from what I understand, is important for an Iyengar class. My husband had very positive thoughts about it, which I felt was important because he has training (to become a yoga teacher) in this. I think the thing I felt was a bit of a drawback for me was we didn't keep the poses nearly as long as I wouldve liked to feel the stretch. We did do more complicated poses (it was a a standing pose class this time) and, per my husband, who has training in Iyengar Yoga, he said that because we did more complicated poses, we didn't keep to keep the positions long. We plan to go more as our schedule allow!“
“I was very happy with my class. I'm from out of town and was in Madison for a busy long weekend, so my second criteria for finding a class was schedule. My first was a class that wasn't hot or really strenuous, and the Friday class I went to (Sage all level with Kristin Sage) was just right for me. The class wasn't too big, maybe six other people. We started out with the instructor reading a poem, followed by a gentle warm up. For all that most of the people in the class were probably retired, there were some suggested variations that were very difficult. The class ran over by about twenty minutes. Whenever I practice under a new instructor, I struggle a little with the cues and tempo. I periodically struggled with this class, but the instructor was very good both at elaborating the cues and providing quiet corrections. I enjoyed that the class was not silent--the instructor kept up an almost constant stream of description and encouragement. The space was airy, with some plants in the corners. If the class had been silent, the construction next door might have been a little disruptive, but it just added a bit of spice to the balance postures. I hope to be able to make it back next time I am in town.“
“Karen always does such a great job! I have been going semi regularly for over year to help with stress and back pain due to scoliosis. I leave feeling releived and grateful every time. The screened in porch in her home office is always my favorite in the summer months.“
“The best! After months of chronic neck pain and dead ends to resolve it, I found Tanatnan. After the first massage I felt an enormous difference, and after a few, I found long-term relief. Her work on necks is life changing. I also really love her combination/Thai massages, afterwards, my body feels so enlivened and amazing. I highly, highly recommend her!“
“I always feel safe and welcomed whenever I walk into Mala Yoga! The membership prices are great, and this is the first time I've walked into a studio and felt like I belonged. Thank you, Kat!!“
“I joined last winter and have enjoyed the new routine quite a bit. The classes are a nice balance of relaxing and challenging and I do feel stronger in my abs and glutes.“
“The instructors seem to have a lot of creative license for each class so you never really know what you’re going to get. There are pros and cons to that. But overall both locations are fantastic, the yoga rooms are spacious and beautiful with large windows for light and views of nature, and there is a sense of friendly community.“
“I've been seeing Dr Heidi and she is fantastic! I've seen many soft tissue practitioners and chiropractors and she is one of the best. The use of multiple modalities, doing just enough and not too much, has been great for me. My husband saw Dr Mark for the first time recently and felt like his experience was by far the best he's had with a chiropractor as well. I would highly recommend them both!“
