“This review is solely based off a customer service and initial evaluation of my problem.

I contracted them on a Tuesday morning. Didn’t think I would hear from them for at minimum a day as they’re a larger company. However, I was pleased to see a message from them an hour or so later. I was able to have someone come later that day too! I was like “wow, that’s nice!” I was directly informed of the dispatch fee which I liked upfront. Do I think it was worth the amount? That’s a different review. I was in a pinch so I didn’t care that it was just over $100 at this point. I wanted to know if this was going to be a fire hazard problem.

When Junior got here, he was nice, friendly, helpful, and efficient. I threw him for a loop because I forgot to mention my fans had lights and he didn’t have the immediate equipment with him. He said “I’ll be back, I got to grab something and another person” he was gone 4mins maybe? Came back with a ladder and another human named Trevor/Tyler/Travis (?sorry I can’t remember your name).

These guys cleaned out bathroom exhaust fans and fixed the obnoxious loud sound. They told me I would be fine for a little bit while decided if I wanted to actually replace them. They gave me quotes on if they fixed it with their equipment or if I supplied the custom fan and they fixed it. Still pretty pricey but I appreciated they told me where to look and what size I needed to find.

Overall they’re great and totally upfront about everything. I appreciate the honesty.“

“After searching around on Reddit for a trustworthy HVAC service company in the Madison area to fix my humidifier system and do a check up on my HVAC system. I happened across Survival HVAC. Mack Weaver responded within half a day and we had an appointment. During the service appointment he was more than happy to walk me through what he was checking and why he was checking it. I was not upsold on anything and he got the humidifier working within minutes.

Cannot recommend enough! I learned a lot about what to look for in my own system and was given excellent service at an affordable price.“

“Recently had Bohling install a furnace after going over options with Cindy at length. She was very thorough and patient throughout the process. They accommodated my difficult schedule by coming out to Columbus on a Sunday to assess what I needed.
The installers arrived on time and both Lucas and Cody were very nice, professional, and knowledgeable. They did nice work and the overall price was very reasonable. Would definitely recommend.“

“Everything went as explained to us. He called enroute to advise us of his estimated time of arrival. He was prompt, efficient and answered our questions. Overall, we were very pleased.“

“The Duct On Call crew was very professional and friendly. They came in and unclogged the dryer vent in a relatively short period of time. They explained the process as they cleared the lint that was stuck in the vent, and I was very pleased with the outcome of their service. I would definitely recommend them to anyone who has a similar issue. The cost of the service was very reasonable as well.“

“I have had Capitol Mechanical out to my townhouse downtown twice to service my all-in-one HVAC unit. Both times they worked with my schedule, were extremely professional, and got the job done right. This recent time I needed a complete blower motor replacement -- and I feel that the technician went the extra mile to get a new (better) motor properly installed that same morning, even though he had to make modifications to the part for proper fit.

The next time my unit starts acting up, I would not even think about calling anyone else to get it back in line.“
