“Today was my first time at Wisconsin Vision. I was able to book an immediate appointment 2 days ago. My vision has drastically changed the last few months and was concerned and needed a place that could help me as soon as possible. From the moment I walked in I was greeted and helped. Tracy was amazing and walked and talked me through everything. She was not only extremely knowledgeable but also very pleasant. I was not rushed during the test, the exam or the fittings. The Dr was also great and explained what to expect with the new trial contacts and glasses. With the vision change all of a sudden it would take a few days to get use too. I know I'm off to a good start if I can actually do this review without struggling! Thanks for be thorough , friendly and professional. I can't wait for my call that my glasses and contacts are in and thanking Tracy and the wonderful staff again.“

“Their motto should be "Perfection at a Price."Most of my clothes come from Goodwill or Target, but when it came time to put something on my FACE, I decided to go for the gold. After asking around, I went to Optix. I had red frames in mind, but they didn't have exactly what I pictured. Actually, they had something in red PRETTIER than what I'd pictured. They were also extremely lightweight, a big consideration given that I need progressive lenses--basically, trifocals but without the separation marks. The price was a heart-stopping $985...but then the friendly, efficient guy who was helping me asked if I had vision insurance. When I said no, the price dropped to $785. I gulped but reminded myself again that these frames would be on my face all day, every day. I'll economize on something else. Were they worth it? Well, three times in just two weeks, I've been stopped by complete strangers exclaiming: "Wow, great glasses!"“

“Dr. Jankowski is the best eye Dr! She is very knowledgeable, and really takes the time to make sure you have the best options available. All of the technicians and front desk staff are super friendly and welcoming. The space is modern and fresh, unlike most other eye clinics.“

“I was very pleased with my experience at the Chase Ave Target Optical. Not only was Dr Heineke friendly & professional, he was thorough, & gave great explanations for my questions. Also, Jasmine was friendly, and was very helpful by assisting me with choosing frames. It’s a small business, but that’s what I liked about it…more personal attention, I didn’t feel like just a number. I have recommended this place to a number of people. Go there!“

“The cashier or receptionist is beyond rude and shouldn't have a job working with the public. The Dr. is fine but the support staff is pathetic and badly needs to be taught people skills ( if Helen Keller can be taught maybe someone can teach this staff), also the glasses that you pay for here can be found online at a tenth of the cost, all you need is your prescription. I get that they need people with low intelligence to work for the low wages this company pays (which is still a massive overpayment even for these underskilled "workers").“

“I have gone to Hersolf for years. It's a family thing my mom started. God rest her soul. I had my appointment last week. Had a wonderful experience, considering I had to park around the corner. I am a 45-year-old woman who walks with 2 canes until I get both hips replaced so I don't move very fast at all. I was hurting pretty bad today, but I had to take my 12-Year-old for her eye exam. I sat and picked up my glasses which were ready way faster than I expected. Once she was called back for her exam, I didn't realize I needed to go into the little room with her. She came back and got me. I said in a jokingly manner as I was crippling on back there "if he doesn't speak to me, I'm going to be mad." I honestly didn't think what was about to happen was going to happen. Everyone there is usually very nice. If they are not laughing when I come in, they will be by the time I leave. That's the type of personality i have. The happy to be alive personality. I made it to the room and sat down. We had a mix-up with our info last time, so he stepped out the room to clear it up, basically wanted to make sure he had the right person in his chair which is understandable. He came back into the room, sat down, wrote some stuff on the paper in her chart and started the exam. I'm not a rude person so I didn't interrupt him to say hello while he was taking care of that. I was waiting. Unfortunately, when he got done writing he turned around and started the exam. He basically didn't even acknowledge me. I looked at him the whole time waiting, just waiting for him to say hello and he didn't say not 2 words to me. Once he got her prescription together you would think he would have talked to me about her prescription and how it didn't change much, but no he turned his back to me to explain it to the child. That's how I noticed the back pocket of his pants was hanging out. He sat back down; I was still looking at him waiting for a hello I'm Dr. Whoever, still nothing. I got up and proceeded to walk out but not before expressing to him that his bed side manner sucked. How he had me come in the room and then not say anything to me. Of course, he got offended. First it was he don't like being judged. He said that because I told him I stared at him the whole appointment waiting for him to speak. Then he said He forgot to speak. I told him you didn't forget to speak, you're the one who had her to come get me. Then he said I'm not here to see you I'm here to see her. Well boom, there goes the real reason. He felt like he didn't need to speak. I was a nobody to him. I unfortunately wasn't raised that way. You're supposed to speak to people. So, I told him you didn't speak to me on purpose, and you haven't been speaking to people all morning because if you had, somebody would have told you that your back pocket is hanging out sir. I usually don't repeat myself but this time it was warranted. So, I told him again your bedside manner sucks, you didn't speak to me, and haven't spoken to anybody else either or someone would have told you your back pocket is hanging out. Your bedside manner sucks and I don't care what you say. That rude doctor name is Dr. Monte and from now on when I make my appointments, I will be sure to find out if he's going to be there on that day. That is one person who I don't even care to share the air with. I dare not say he racist because he was very good with My daughter during the exam. However, that is his job. I just don't understand how a person who works with the public can be so dismissing of a human being. when I tell you he made me feel like I was a piece of furniture that didn't compliment a room. Why did I even need to go back there as a parent/guardian if he wasn't going to treat me like one.“
