As an independent local business it’s a great place to take your business. Not just because of the low prices on authentic designer frames—their customer service is legendary!

True story: 8 years ago my car was stolen with my purse in it. The thieves came into Quality looking to order replacement lenses for my glasses (because they were *that* cool). Penny recognized my frames, checked the rx, and confirmed they were mine. She then proceeded to offer the villains another frame— on her!—in order to get my glasses back to their rightful owner.

You don’t find that at Target’s optical counter.

“I read some pretty terrible reviews for this location, but opted to determine for myself this morning. I am due for my annual eye exam and VSP-funded purchase for the year.

I arrived about 10 minutes early for my appointment and encountered the only negative for this location. The parking was atrocious - which has nothing to do with Stanton themselves, as they are located next to Macs and First Watch. Don’t hold this against Stanton - this is just poor planning by the strip management company.

After getting a spot and getting inside, I was greeted by two friendly faces that brought me back and got me setup.

Here’s the unique piece: my exam was “virtual”. Once in an exam room, I had a technician on a video call, controlling the “1 or 2” machine on my face, remotely. I thought I would hate this, but it was actually great. About 20 minutes later, I was back in the lobby, looking at frames.

After selecting my frame, I sat down with a very helpful young woman (I am terrible with names) but she had an arrow tattoo on her left wrist. She gave me some advice from one frame to another, ran the pricing against my insurance, and quickly a $700 price tag (transition photo max on HUGO frames) down to $214.

She told me to expect approximately 1-2 weeks, which is no issue. And I was out the door. From start to finish, 75 minutes. That is not bad at all.
