They were only subscribing medication. In this clinic they treated him with medication and took out the metal piece. Overall highly recommend. Helped allot. “I selected Visionworks Tacoma as it was in my insurance network. The appointment was easy to make, and I received reminders in the days leading up to it. The eye test process was very thorough. I got Retinal screening photos as well, which took complete photos of my eyeball. Dr. Jeff Chu was very kind, and explained the retinal photos while he tested my vision. Sera Casto helped me pick out my glasses/frames, and was very patient & friendly throughout the process. I would definitely recommend getting your vision checked here!“

Dr. Dale has a wonderful sense of humor as well and has me laughing all the way through our appointment!! I just love it!His locations are in Gig Harbor, Bremerton and Shelton. I'd personally shy away from new (young) doctors, but that's my view ;) . It takes a seasoned, skilled doctor to know what is important for YOU when it comes to your eyes and this man delivers.“
“I recommend Dr. Pugh for anyone who has children. He is a very patient doctor and works so well with children. He was my doctor all throughout my childhood up until I was a young adult when I switched to another doctor based on my own personal needs. His assistant, Sandy, is beyond friendly and it was because of her that I kept coming back. She adjusts your glasses perfectly and was patient in teaching me how to put contacts in my eye. Expect your optical exam to last about an hour which, in my opinion, is way too long but I think he tries multiple different settings to ensure a proper fit. The eye glasses here are also a bit more costly and the selection smaller. Best to get contacts elsewhere, too. Again, a great doctor for children!“

“My first appointment went very well. The office staff were friendly and patient. The assistant who did the preliminary measurements etc did not communicate much or explain what she was doing. That's not a complaint, just an observation. She got the job done. Dr. Nicholson was excellent! He took time to answer my questions and he has a good sense of humor. He was friendly and easy going. There was no "hard sell" to choose the most expensive options. The office is short staffed like many places are these days. Even so, the appointment went very well and it was faster than I expected. It costs zero dollars to be kind. So be patient and appreciate the employees (anywhere) who are there to help you. I will update my review after I have cataract surgery.“

“At a wellness visit at the beginning of the school year, it came to our attention that my oldest son was possibly in need of glasses. Our pediatrician recommended we take him to a legit optometrist place (and not just a large chain) to get him correctly examined. I found Family EyeCare Associates on Yelp and so glad I did! Check-in was simple and easy and all the front desk ladies working that morning absolutely loved my son and were great with him. During his exam, the eye care assistants (not sure what they are officially called, sorry!) were great with him and his five year old energy and silliness during the exam as well.We ended up seeing Dr. Pincock who was really kind and great with my son as well. He was super thorough in his exam with my son and made him really comfortable with every step of the process. We were able to find out that my son really was in need of glasses, and out the door (after insurance) for his exam and fancy bendable glasses, it was only $80! So glad to have discovered this spot and we'll continue to make them our primary eye care office.“

I will be returning on Friday to order me some new glasses even though they fixed my old glasses for me at no charge. Can’t wait to get some progressives glasses and see if they are better than my current Bifocals that I ended up getting at LensCrafters because the progresses ones that they sold me were not working out. My nose pieces kept falling off, and in the past I had to order new glasses because they could not fix them At LensCrafters but now they seem to be on their solid due to the good craftsmanship I received here.“
