Wow! All I can say is wow! I have been hesitant for years to get my brows done because of the fear of “what if” until I came across Olive Branch Brows. Awesome contractor for decking! Had these guys build a 200 sq ft deck with composite material. Deck turned out amazing. The crew did a professional quality job. Every day, the working site was clean. The project was completed in a timely manner. All the corner cuts were very precise. Would definitely hire them again.
I went to Haley at Waddington Esthetics to get my first lash extensions. She was great! Talked me through the process. Listened to what I wanted, a natural look....just longer ? (I have super short lashes). I absolutely love them! And our conversation during appointment was just like talking to and old friend. The space is welcoming. I love all the art and the vibe!

There is truly no one better at eyelashes and relaxation. It's always the perfect amount of chit chat and nap time while your lashes get done. Sometimes we listen to music and sometimes we listen to true crime. Every time my lashes come out amazing. I even stopped saying what I wanted and just give her the artistic freedom. I always get compliments.
Her space is always clean and her tools are impeccable. I've never been hurt by anything. In fact, I told her my eyes get really red really easily and she put down a gel that has prevented it every time. She always asks if anything is poking before you start and has the comfiest table to be on.
I've done color lashes, brown volume sets, and whimsical lashes we are transitioning now to black lashes to do a wet look. Seri always sets my expectations and translations my lashes so pretty between the colors we want.

TDLR: Carly was great esthetician but went too hard on the extractions. I ended up getting a broken capillary in my nose and minor scarring. I should have spoken up when the extractions were too intense.
I booked Carly for a 90 minute facial. On my end, I was 20 minutes late after mixing up the time. Carly still took me and we did a 60 minute facial for the price of the 90 minute facial. Thought this was gracious of her given I was running quite late due to the mix up.
Once I arrived, Carly was very kind and we jumped into the facial. Unfortunately, when we went to extractions she mentionned it may be uncomfortable but these extractions hurt! Since I usually dont do extractions, I thought this was normal and didn’t speak up. I should have! I ended up going back to my regular esthetician afterwards even though she is in Seattle and she shared that I had some minor scarring and a broken capillary from the last time she saw me (month prior). My skin is sensitive so this may not happen to everyone, but I would caution that if the extractions are feeling too painful to speak up or for Carly to be a bit more gentle.
I’ve been looking for a braider for awhile now since I’ve had not the best experience & I came across Mimi. I cant tell you how many compliments I’ve gotten and how clean and neat and LONG my braids were. I was able to keep them in for so long & they weren’t too heavy for my hair.
(Also i went to Vegas & went on an ATV and my hair was still looking good after all the dirt & helmet usage.)

I went to Empowered Med Spa for 3 rounds of microneedling & 3 rounds of Morpheus 8 to treat old acne scarring, as well as one lip flip so far. Shannon and Shannon are so friendly and knowledgeable. I have had nothing but a great experience each time I have been there. I could not recommend this place enough!
Chelsea is hands down, the best! I’m not even sure where to start with this review, as there is just so many good points to mention. Chelsea’s salon truly feels like a dream, it is everything I’ve ever wanted out of a salon experience. The environment is beautifully decorated and inviting. She is the only stylist which makes the experience quiet, not over stimulating, and very personal. She provides such great talent/skill with hair, she is communicative with the whole process, and the only true “transparent pricing” I have ever had. Her pricing is way more than fair, and includes take home products in the cost to better take care of your hair at home. In most salons I have felt very pushed when it comes to upcharges during the service, wanting you to buy the brand they represent and always setting up appointments as you leave the salon - but I do not get this vibe at all! Chelsea’s number one priority is your comfort and happiness, whatever that may entail, and that is so obvious throughout the entire service. She is so detail oriented, fast, kind, talented, and just overall amazing. So grateful I found her! Thank you for taking such great care of me and my hair <3

Navy was amazing! First time ever meeting her, I booked for a consultation and was looking to get a bang trim. She was super kind, answered all my questions and did the service anyway even though my appointment was only for a consult. She went out of her way to make sure I was happy, she’s knowledgeable with products and was pleasant to talk to!! Definitely will come back and receive future services from Navy.
Endea was nothing short of amazing! I have curly hair and have had several bad experiences in the past with haircuts. My curly cut with her was incredible. I wish I had known of this place 15 years ago! This lady is AMAZING!!! And I'm still in disbelief she only charged me $9 for my son's lineup! Even though I've always felt barbers charge too much for a lineup, because my son gets the top braided and just needs the back & sides lined up, but most barbers still charge the same as they do for an entire head. She does AMAZING - INCREDIBLY fast work! I thought I misheard her telling the people before us how much. But nope, she has great prices! We walked in at 5:20, I was worried I wouldn't be able to get his hair lined up before his 1st day of school. She was finishing up one boys hair, he had straight blonde hair, then there was a 2nd boy who had thick black hair, the 3rd person was a teenage girl who got I'd say 4 inches cut off, was super cute, and then an adult male before my son. Everyone of them walked out looking fresh. My son got a line up, and looks great. She did all 5 people in less than an hour! I used to sit for hours in barber shops, sometimes even when I had an appointment. And most of the time it was only 1-2 people ahead of us. So I'm telling you, give her a try! You will save a ton of money & time. And, my son usually has burns/scrapes from the clippers, he has none! It's cash only, so if I was to make a complaint, it would be the $3.50 fee at the 7-11 cash machine near by, so bring cash. But I can't even complain about that because she only charged $9!!

His skill and attention to detail were impressive, and the final result was exactly what I had hoped for—if not better!

Cannot say enough great things about the spray tan I got from Amy and her BEAUTIFUL space! The atmosphere/environment of her studio is so CUTE! She is so personable, and my tan was immaculate! It felt so natural, I felt extremely confident and beautiful ... and to be honest, I was in the sun three days with sunscreen on before the event and it still stayed and looked incredible the day of the wedding I was in. She's got really great after tan instructions and is so fun to chat with during the tan. NW Glow will undoubtedly be my go to tan place and will be looking into other beauty services here as well!

Finally, a 5 star desert sun! I've been to most of the south sound locations and this one is by far my favorite! Gabby the store manager was super friendly, educated, and never pushed sales on me. The selections of beds here are the best too. They have red light , blue light, the wellness pod , soon to be teeth whitening, and the usual tanning beds. I 90% come to use the wellness products and the ambiance in each room was great! ill think about driving a little further away to sauna next time
I'm writing this review because I almost didn't go to this business based on the reviews. I have had interactions with 4 employees so far and they have been wonderful. They are super informative, responsive and respectful. I've experienced this and have seen this behavior to others as well. It is very clean and you see them cleaning after every guest which is the standard. I would highly recommend this business and location(Tacoma).
Just moved to Tacoma and while I had to watch the news, my nail appointment was fantastic and my nails look great.
Sweet, friendly little shop run by a husband and wife duo. Was recommended by a friend and the experience was entirely enjoyable.

Both Trinh and her friend did amazing work on me and was so kind and gentle. They knew I have an injury and made sure to be accommodating and gentle when doing my pedicure to make sure I was taken care of.
Not to mention Trinh and her friend were able to fix my nails despite them having been unevenly misshaped. They are quite literally the best!

I called for an appointment but it wasn't necessary as they take walk-ins. Within minutes I was seated and being worked on. Although I only got a pedi (without nail polish) they did an excellent job. My feet are extremely sensitive and she did a very thorough job without causing me any pain or issues. Appreciative

I leave this review at the risk of this hidden treasure getting discovered. I’ve been to all of the places in Tacoma over the years and this one has become my favorite. It’s low key but has three nice features that I appreciate and that it it apart from others: (1) if you call to schedule an appointment, the appointment time will actually be honored and they will have someone waiting to help you when you arrive; (2) super easy parking; (3) the owner and staff are very nice and friendly and I’ve never had any complaints about my monthly pedicure.

She recently transitioned to this beautiful salon everything is so clean, organized and I loved the overall aura. Third appointment in and there is no hiding them now. I am loving this experience with crocheting and having someone else do maintenance. Let me remind you it’s my 5th time with dreads and only time so far I have continued maintenance. All the times before I would start them myself or just have the one appointment to put them in. I had a few fall out after last time and it was so nice to not worry about it. Jonquil was amazing and fixed them right up. I don’t have to worry about wax or rolling them. And not spending 30+ minutes every few days on my hair for maintenance is great. I do still wash at least twice a week, it helps me with the itchy scalp. And as recommended by Jonquil I am still using a sea salt spray. When I get a little frustrated with the frizzing I will use a water base gel. Thank you Jonquil!

I took my son here cause the Fun Kutz place was crowded and the lady that usually cut his hair wasn’t working that day.And I say it was very satisfying to see Tony did an excellent job, he is very attentive to details and very friendly wise, from the moment you walk in til you leave this place. I came here for a haircut with Rylie. It was my first time at this salon and I picked it because I was in the area and they had good prices on their website. I am very happy with the result and I feel it was great quality for a $70 women's haircut. The salon was cozy and cutely decorated and Rylie was very nice. I will be coming back to get my hair dyed at some point!

Lynn is a true artist with scissors! I have been going to her about 10 years and am always very happy with the results. Plus I've seen her volunteer her time and skills multiple times at community events helping others. I love that.

Sunshine at Tam’s Barber Shop is a gem! She used to cut my husband’s hair (decades ago), and now cuts my two sons’ hair. She is excellent—especially at cutting mixed and curly hair. One time I was stopped by a stranger who happened to be a barber just to ask who cut my kids’ hair because he recognized the skilled cut. You will not be disappointed.

I can’t share photos, as the service I received was a bikini wax. What I CAN share, is that this was my 1st wax ever in my over 40 years of life, so I was hella nervous. That said, Justine took the time to make the environment comfortable, help me understand how it all worked, was so gentle with the process, and did an amazing job! I’ve heard horror stories about waxing one’s most intimate location, and that fear has been completely removed from my mind after my experience at Tend and Spruce! If there were more stars to give, I would!

This was my second visit at UP Wellness Spa for an Colon Hydrotherapy with over a year or more between both visits.
My experience both times were great.
Delisha set the atmosphere with her warm, calming and welcoming personality and the candle scent of eucalyptus.
It's very clean as well.
Delisha was very attentive when needed, making sure I was always comfortable.
I had a couple of hiccups, and I never felt like I was a burden.
I felt the passion she has for what she does which really made a difference in me being able to fully relax.
She was full of knowledge and suggestions about what she does, but not over bearing.
This is definitely her Ministry!
Overall I would give my experience at UP Wellness Spa a 10 out of 10.

Adri did a great job on my permanent anklet. It took just a few minutes once I picked my chain and charm. I’m so happy with how it turned out. She had a great selection of chains and charms and you can book your appointment ahead of time online. If you’re looking to get permanent jewelry, definitely go see Adri at Spoiled!

Oh my goodness, I went for my birthday after years of hearing about this place and being too shy to try it. I had an amazing foot massage and the staff was so kind, they really made me feel relaxed and beautiful! It has taken me years to build up the courage to go and be naked in front of other women, and now, I feel so liberated. I tried all of the rooms and the pools. I loved every single minute of my 3 hour tour and I will be back soon. Next time I will definitely try some of the other services, like the body scrub. I want to go back soon, it's only been a week and I can't stop thinking about how wonderful the experience was. This was by far the best birthday present I have ever given to myself. I've been a member for about a year now, and could not be happier. The Tacoma location is convenient with enough easy/free parking and while it's small, it's calm and welcoming. The front office staff are always lovely, communicative about any changes to schedules and super sweet. I get a massage and a facial once a month. I have yet to have anything but a great massage - but Bryan really is my favorite. He's knowledgeable and always cheerful - and can tailor the session to address specific issues with the skill of a physical therapist or do a great overall relaxation session. I also see Kayla for my facials. She's fantastic. Not only is she kind, gentle, and a good listener - she really knows her stuff. Every product she's recommended for me has been a winner and my skin care routine has totally changed - it's now less involved, cheaper overall, and more effective. I've also used the products the spa produces in-house and have been very impressed with the quality and price. At first the membership seemed like a big expense, but now it seems like the most cost-effective investment in my mental and physical well being I've made in recent years.

Honestly I do not trust anyone but Lou with my lashes at this point! I have see at least 4 other lash techs and they never last/itch so bad! Her salon/studio is above a hair salon that never is open/unlocked. Which makes sense being on the Main Street in Tacoma. Makes me feel safe knowing we are safe when my eyes are closed for an ~an hour and stuck on the lash table! She's literally the best!

Me and my friend came in as walk ins and barely had to wait at all! The piercing process was very quick even for two piercings, a naval and nose, was as painless as a piercing can be, super affordable and amazing environment. It was welcoming and a fun experience.

He was professional and communicated what he was doing/what he found/and what to watch for in the future. I needed Cold/Hot water and drain installed to my outdoor kitchen sink. Got quotes from 2 other plumbers and they were at least double the price of Lion. Our experience with Kerry of Southern Boyz has been the best we’ve ever had dealing with a contractor. He got back to me incredibly quick, worked time between his other clients to come give an awesome cost effective quote, and came back later in the day to finish the work in 35 minutes. He shared what he was doing as he did the work to educate us on the plumbing. We’ve never felt so taken care of. I shared a review on Yelp as that’s where I found his business, but I wanted to share here too so folks using google/google maps could see too. Folks don’t always get enough praise for doing an excellent job.
Miles had done previous work for me. Replaced 2 outside faucets and replaced the old outdated shutoff valve with a new updated one. Explained everything before, what he was going to do and the cost. Excellent service, efficient, quick and professional. Why i called him from my phone contact list (so wonderful not to have to search Google for a plumber, knowing its like having your own personal trusted plumber). This job was for a leak in a section of my drain pipe in my crawl space from my kitchen sink. Had an electrician fix a wiring issue and told me there was about a 2 foot section cracked and leaking bad. Called Miles. He went under and instead of just fixing the obvious problem. He did some researching and noticed the pipe was completely clogged, all the way to my sewer drain. Im thinking now he has to reschedule since on our phone call, told him just a 2 ft section and should be quick. He tells me, i need to get more piping and will be right back and get me all fixed up. Afterwards, i asked him if he could replace these old shutoff valves under the sink. He said sure. Ive got some on my truck. Replaced the 3 valves. Just like last time. Gave me the updated cost before doing job. Very PLEASED!! PROFESSIONAL, UNDERSTANDING ALL MY CONCERNS. Im very comfortable working with him, knowing i will never be taken advantage of and his prices are very competitive and not over priced. Well done once again Miles. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND HIM FOR ALL YOUR PLUMBING NEEDS. YOU WON'T BE DISAPPOINTED.

My review of Dimitri's work is long due. I added a dormer bathroom and office to my upstairs bedroom. After an inspection by Dimitri it became clear early on that I needed to replace the Knob and Tube wiring in my entire 100 year old, 3-level house to meet the current electrical code requirements. Dimitri worked long hours to solve the riddle of my dated electrical system and was very dedicated to figuring out which plug lead to which circuit and switch in the electrical panel as a big mess had been created over the years. Dimitri further tried to fix all the outlets for me with minimal impact on all the rooms in the house that were impacted by this huge update. The result is a brand new electrical wiring system in my home that serves me well. Great work!

Can’t recommend Henderson Hardwood floors more! They did a fantastic job. We actually tried to refinish our maple hardwood floors ourselves and we did a horrible job. We hired Henderson Hardwood to fix our work and we couldn’t be happier with how our floors turned out. Salvador and Chris especially were pretty fantastic. Highly skilled and would highly recommend to anyone who even thinks they can do it themselves… just don’t and hire Henderson to begin with because they will do it right.
I have worked with a lot of contractors over the years and I am very picky.Due to a water leak, we needed new wood woven into older oak flooring, one room completely refinished and color matched to the rest of the wood flooring which was buffed and recoated.The color matching was perfect. Problems with our old finish were quickly resolved. Trevor was very communicative throughout, he explained the whole process very thoroughly in advance. He and his workers were unfailingly polite, timely, and respectful. Their work was meticulous - they even came back to touch up areas that I thought needed additional attention without complaint.Honestly, I cannot say enough good things about this company. My mom and I were victims of bad contractors. The shower valve in one of our upstairs bathrooms ruptured and ruined our flooring downstairs, half the kitchen ceiling and the adjoining bathroom was torn apart to fix the valve. Decided to remodel everything since it was all ruined. We used Google to find a contractor and, we ended up narrowing it down to two.There were several reasons we chose S&E Remodeling to remodel our bathroom and kitchen. First, Yani, the owner, offered to meet us at a local cabinet store to find the right cabinets and counter tops which we did. Second, his employees are his family and, he regularly supervised their work. Third, he would call us whenever he came by. Our contact was often and appreciated. Fourth, he estimated the work would take no longer than 3-4 weeks to complete. It was finished in 3 weeks!And finally, our house looks better than the day we purchased it!So, based on our experience, we would recommend S&E Remodeling to anyone who needs a contractor and, we would definitely work with Yani and his team again.

A long-time, trusted friend referred me to Bastaldi when we needed our roof replaced. She was familiar with their work, having had her own roof replaced the prior winter, and was very confident in their skills. After meeting Jorge for our bid, we were fully on board. The initial process was quick and smooth: we had a bid within one business day and the guys scheduled to start within a few days.We had a team of three guys come to replace our roof (full tear off and install) and they were all very polite and kind. Abraham, the lead, took his time to let us know their plan and how they would work. He even supplied photos as the work progressed to show us where the areas of damage were. His teammates, Nolvin and Sergio, were adept and skilled and within a day, the three guys had our old roof completely torn off and tar paper laid to protect the plywood from the overnight elements.The entire process only took three days where other, similar houses in the neighborhood took 4-5 days with different companies but larger crews! Abraham kept us updated on their progress at the end of each day. He even took a series of photos to show us their final work, which is impeccable, they even cleaned the gutters! The lines are straight, the flashing tight, the valleys feathered nicely, they even added a piece of shingle to protect any fascia boards that protrude past the roofline. The guys were meticulous in their cleanup and I have yet to find an errant nail or piece of roof debris (I’m writing this about 3 weeks later)!We have all new boots and vents, they inspected the attic for any evidence of moisture and for proper ventilation, we have ice and water shields all around, and best of all, the team is Certainteed-certified so we can sleep at night knowing our roof is protected by the manufacturer for many, many years to come.Hire Bastaldi. We had a pretty mild case of fleas with our dog but didn't want to risk any chances so we went searching for a flea treatment. Got called by bulwark exterminating next morning after putting in a quote request on Yelp and promptly scheduled an appt. The pair of exterminators that arrived were very very professional and quite frankly funny and pleasant to talk to. There were in and out in about 20 minutes which was awesome because I had stopped by in the middle of my work shift to open the door for them. For a 2 bed 1.5 bathroom flea treatment we were charged $300+ tax with a 60 day warranty, which I think is very fair. Very pleased with my experience so far and the exterminators couldn't have made the process any easier for me.
TJ came out for my first service regarding a sugar ant infestation - he was super throughout and explained everything he planned on doing. He went in my crawl space, sprayed inside and out and even took care of an open attic ventilation spot that I was worried about any potential “critters” crawling in. Within a few days I immediately starting noticing lots of dead ants in the areas I had once seen live ones so I knew the treatment was working. Michael just came by for my 1 month follow up visit and was equally as professional and throughout. I priced out a few different companies in the Tacoma area and found Long to be the most competitive. If you’re having any issues with pests in your home don’t wait - call Long and let them handle it!

Vernon came out to our place to remove a yellow jacket nest that was too close to one of our walking trails for comfort. He was very timely and responsive to our request for assistance and came out even though it was one of the hottest days of the summer. He has a very positive demeanor and is extremely knowledgeable when it comes to anything pest related. We loved getting to ask him questions about different types of wasps and learn interesting facts that he had to share. I also love that he brought his son along with him. He really puts the family in family business. I would highly recommend Vernon and Tahoma Specialty Pest Services for any issues you may have with pests.

If I could give Oscar's 6 stars I would. I was so pleased with their work that I contemplated leaving a review halfway through the job. My garden and fire pit was a nightmare before Oscar and his team came and cleaned it out (see the before and after photos). Now, instead of feeling overwhelmed when I look out at my yard, I feel relaxed knowing I've got a well kept yard to enjoy when it gets sunny in Tacoma. In the spring of 2021, we had a pond with a salmon fountain put built in our back yard. We purchased to fountain from a dealer in Santa Fe, NM and had Father Nature, a local landscaping company build the pond and the surrounds. They did a wonderful job and gave us a 3-year warranty on the work they did, which included purchasing and installing the pump for the fountain. At the end of the second year, we had some problems with the inner workings of the fountain which had 8 salmon spouting water. So, the fountain was nonoperational for about 9 months. Once we had the fountain repaired and tried to hook it back up to the pump, the pump was not working correctly. We notified Father Nature and were politely told our warranty expired. I appealed and was told that someone would contact me. I was contacted by the owner, Chris Scheer, the next day. After hearing my story, he told me he would be out in 45 minutes. He showed up and we discussed the pump and then he pointed out some other things that needed to be made better. Within a few short weeks, all was better to include an new pump. All at no charge. What a wonderful company and management. I would highly recommend them for any of your landscaping needs.

These guys are awesome! They took down two big Douglas Firs in my yard quickly and efficiently, and then they completely cleaned up after the job like it was never even there. Super professional and highly recommend if you need trees trimmed or removed.
Great service and professionalism. They removed an old growth cedar tree from my property that was on a steep hill. The yard looked like they had never been there once done including grinding the stump. We now have them take care of all our needs, weed control, pruning of our fruit trees etc. highly recommended.

My dental testimony! Dr. Joung is the best dentist I’ve EVER seen and I’m almost 70… so, I’ve seen a few! ?His compassion and commitment to the best outcome possible, is amazing. His patient care is exceptional and, in my case, individualized in a way that LITERALLY changed the dental anxiety I’ve had my entire life! Yesterday, I thanked him and I called myself CURED of dental anxiety as long as he can be my dentist the rest of my life… and I have PTSD! I’ve “followed” him from University Place to Puyallup to Tacoma, to Graham, back to University Place and Graham as well AND now to Tacoma Rainier Dental.Office staff.. Every one of the locations I’ve seen him at, or visited for a one or two time service, have also been incredibly kind, professional, caring. I believe, and also hear that they SO happy to be working with Dr. Joung it carries over to the “customer/patient” in every area of every dental facility he sees patients at! A friend Roger Smith recommended that I go check out Dr Jeffrey Stewart DDS Tacoma. I had rode with Roger a couple of times to his appointments. He praised how great Dr Jeffrey Stewart was and I ought to check him out. I first got in touch with my Health Insurance Carrier to see if Dr Stewart was part of United Healthcare and he was. I called the office to make an appointment. Sarah answered the phone and I gave her all my Health Insurance information and made an appointment. It’s was pleasant talking to her as she guided me through the process. I made my appointment. Just this past week Aug 15 I had a 7:30 am Appointment I thought who opens that early it was great to know all was ready when I arrived. I checked in and within minutes I was taken into a room where I was diagnosed and had X-rays taken . I was impressed by the way I was treated the care and professionalism of the Dental Assistant was impeccable. I had my teeth cleaned and flossed and very little pain . I was glad there found no major problems as they routinely check for cancer of the mouth and any other symptoms that I been having. I had transferred all my Dental records from Todays Dental in Yelm. Don’t get me wrong Todays Dental is a great place and the Drs and staff there are A1 . However I had to try and see what Roger had been talking about. And yes Dr Jeffrey Stewart and his staff are awesome to say the least. I would recommend anyone who is looking for a great Dentist in and around Tacoma should give Dr Jeffrey Stewart a call. I’m very impressed with how I was treated and advised how to care for my teeth. I have another upcoming appointment soon to see if I qualify for permanent implants. I’m 69 years young and very very happy that Roger Smith recommended Dr Jeffrey Stewart. Next report I get the names of the Dental Assistants and associated Dr who also work there along with the office manager. I’m very happy to be a new patient of Dr Jeffrey Stewart’s

We used this place to board our 2 pups and it went great! Drop off and pickup was very easy and the prices were affordable for the area. They allowed me to set up my pups kennel (which was large and clean). My one dog has a lot of anxiety and had never been boarded but seemed to do great there! They were clean and in great shape upon pickup. I would use this place again!
I contacted Stefanie about helping my senior cat with some matting he is developing. Due to his situation, Stefanie said she wouldn't be able to help, but she did go out of the way to put me in touch with a vet who can. I can't emphasize enough how impressed I was with her concern for my cat's health and how selfless she was by helping me find the correct specialist to treat my cat. Our dog has severe anxiety and grooming her has been extremely difficult. We have been told by multiple groomers that they cannot handle her, and the only groomer to successfully cut her hair said she would not do it again. Lesha made her appointment at a time when no other dogs would be in the shop, allowed her to take breaks when she got too stressed, and was able to give her a haircut in under an hour. We will definitely bring her back!

I’ve been doing Pilates with the wonderful Olivia since May 2022. I would say it was one of the best decisions I’ve made for myself and my body. I am an active athlete and ran track at the collegiate level. I came to her initially because I am a Massage Therapist with the goals of just being overall wellness for myself and clients. Since working with her I’ve been able to connect with my body on a deeper level and really develop a whole new love and care for it. Olivia is an overall an amazing person. I looked forward to our weekly sessions because she teaches from her heart and her passion is felt and reflected in her work. Some people teach Pilates, with Olivia she is one who breaths and lives Pilates and I feel that is important when doing this type of work. Since working with Olivia and doing this work, I’ve benefited both mentally, physically and even spiritually. I didn’t realize how compressed I was and limited in my range of motion because being an athlete and lifting heavy was all I knew. Doing Pilates I’ve learned that that less is truly more and learning to work with my body instead of against it. I’ve gained a whole new love for my body and for Pilates. Both my wife and I work with Kaitlin Hansen at Navi Pilates. She has been a great help with our fitness and is one of the nicest people we've met coming back to Tacoma. The facility is well maintained, always clean and neat, and the equipment is obviously cared for. The location in Old Tacoma is easy to get to with plenty of close parking. In addition to private sessions, Navi also offers remote mat classes during the week (so you can do some work without having to go in to the studio). If you're looking for a Pilates studio I really recommend Navi.
I just got back from a massage with Tanna and it was incredibly refreshing and relieving. My back feels brand new with no more uncomfortable tenseness or stiffness. Atmosphere was relaxing and welcoming. 100/10 would recommend!

Dean has extensive experience and expertise in deep tissue massage and offers professional and intuitive therapy for injuries both old and new. I have been through several car accidents over the years causing some chronic neck and hip pain that were relieved only by Dean’s massage therapy. I can’t say enough nice things about the amazing team at CDX. The office and cars are clean, well laid out for learners, and clearly taken care of. The whole team are clearly pros at this! The amount of teacher experience they have for the price is amazing, this is by far the best bang for your buck in Tacoma.I spent 7 years avoiding learning to drive because it was so overwhelming and scary to me. Over the last six lessons everyone has been so kind and accommodating to my anxiety, giving super helpful tips for managing behind the wheel anxiety, and staying firm enough that I knew I was always safe and always learning. When I had a personal emergency interrupt my drive team Tara was so compassionate, made sure I was OK, and drove us back so I could reschedule. I never thought I would be able to drive due to my really disruptive anxiety but I finally feel like it’s in arms reach! Thank you CDX !!
