Malachi was incredible with our 7 month old puppy, Pedro!!! We cannot thank Malachi enough for his care and training of Pedro. A fine old fashioned barbershop, walk-ins only, served by number in order of arrival .. no reservations. Three chairs, friendly and attentive cutters. Very good value for money.
We had to have a floor gutter installed in our basement. Steve and his crew from Cavalier Carpets worked with us to pull back the carpet in two rooms before the floor gutter could be installed then returned to reinstall the carpet after the job was done. We are grateful to Cavalier Carpet for working within our schedule. The men were friendly and did a good job putting the carpet back in place and cleaning up.
Highly recommend Davis Pest Management. Called Mike when a flying ant infestation appeared to happen and he came within the hour. Was extremely honest and explained it wasn't worth him treating as they got stirred up from a lawn mowing we had just had and they would be gone in a day or two. That's exactly what happened. Signed up for his regular pest treatment and prices are great. He's very responsive and we're really happy to be working with him.

I have used their services 3-4 times now. Each time they have been prompt(usually earlier than scheduled), always professional, polite, and efficient. This last time the tech even had to leave for materials and still completed neat, quality work in about an hour and a half. Will always call them for my plumbing needs!

We contacted Flawless to purchase an install a glass shower door. They came out right away took measurements and provided us with an cost estimate the same day. The door had to be special ordered since we wanted a rain glass shower door. When the door arrived Flawless contacted us and scheduled the installation. They arrived, installed the door, and left the worksite and where they walked through the house spotless. They did an exceptional job and we highly recommend them - very professional.

I used Charlottesville Makeup Artist LLC for my wedding in October and had a great experience! The team was responsive, professional, and flexible. My trial was great and I was thrilled with the results! The wedding makeup was perfect - not too overdone, but just enough glam to feel special. And my wedding hair stayed in all night through the after party! Great experience all around - I'd highly recommend to anyone getting married in Charlottesville!

I had a date scheduled for them to remove dangerous trees, but the week before there was a threat of a hurricane, which made the trees even more dangerous. Mike was able rearrange their schedule so they could fit me in before the storm.
That deserves 5 stars on its own. But I was also impressed by the crew and how much skill they have and how much care they took with my property. They dropped trees with awesome accuracy. Their equipment is also newer and well maintained.
I hired Arbor Care because Mike is a certified Arborist and also certified in tree risk assessment. He actually recommended removing less trees than I expected, saving me money I'm sure.
Unlike the others I contacted, Arbor Care followed through and did the job with zero complaints.
So as of right now all we have is the mole treatment plan with this company. Tom Barker is the technician that is taking care of our service right now, and he is doing an exceptional job. He is very polite, courteous, and has great customer service! We are in the market for a new pest control company to take over the rest of our pest control needs because we are unhappy with who we are using now. He was able to get me in touch with the local office here in Ruckersville for this to happen. We are very happy with this company!

FIVE STARS FOR DANAISHA! I am new to the area and desperately needed a bad haircut fixed, so I went on a limb and made an online appointment for any stylists to fix my hair. The salon was able to accommodate me on short notice. Danaisha was my stylist, and she did a fantastic job! She fixed my awkward hair layers, evened everything out, was able to keep my length, and polished my hair off with a stunning blowout at the end. She also recommended great products to use that will help me style my thick, wavy hair at home. Only comment (that is NO fault of the stylist) is the salon could use some repairs/updating. I only mention this to set expectations for future customers, and so hopefully the salon owner will consider investing in their amazing teams workspace.
They have helped time and again with fixing a PC I built myself, fast service and friendly employees. Definitely reccomend!
Hamilton Plumbing completed a big yard job for me in 2020 and came again this week. The earlier job resulted in rerouting water/sewer to the street via new pipes rather than my old, broken terra cotta underground. This week Hambo arrived the same day I called to fix a leak I knew about, and rusted pipes I didn't know about, under my kitchen sink for a good price, saving me future trouble. Thank you, Hamilton Plumbing.

RC tree services did an outstanding job at my home, there were two big oak trees very close to my house and to my neighbors, they got the job done in one day. It was impressive!!

I have been taking riding lessons here for 10 years. The owners are great trainers and are very knowledgeable and patient. They meet the rider at the skill level they are and make them a better equestrian. This barn is not snobby and stuffy, they are down to earth, a lot of fun, and really know their stuff! I highly recommend!
