Back in 2008 when we moved to Charlottesville, I had to find a vet for our chocolate lab. RAH was only 10 minutes up the road and seemed like a good fit. When our lab became ill in 2013, they took excellent care of him and when it came time to let him go, they could not have been more compassionate or kind. Flash forward to 2024 and we have a new puppy. Although RAH is now a 40 minute drive (one way) this is where I'm going. I trust them and they do an outstanding job. We just had our new little guy fixed and they explain all of the aftercare, etc. Also, a follow-up call the next day to check in. I definitely recommend them! The staff is awesome also.

Visited for the first time and was so glad to find this place! Dr. Godine was amazing! He saw my pet the next day I called. Dr. Godine took time to explain and was very compassionate. I felt like he wasn’t trying to rush through and took his time to explain what would be best for my dog (the service that you unfortunately don’t get from every vet you go to). Hospital’s stuff was great as well! Definitely switching my vet from Charlottesville to Dr. Godine!

Dr Wu and the staff are wonderful. They explained what was happening and why. My cat was more relaxed than she's ever been at the vet. They called to see how my cat was responding to treatment and to go over her lab work. Highly recommend this practice.
