“Hi! I have been struggling with dry eyes for years. I didn’t even realize how detrimental my condition was until I finally got the guidance and help I needed from Dr. Faheen and Estefani at the Dry Eye and Wellness Center in Sugarland. I had been living with dry, gritty, tired, fatigued eyes and I just got accustomed to existing this way - if you are living this way know that you don’t have to anymore. Dr. Faheen takes a holistic approach to addressing this condition - diet, water intake, Omega-3, and really looking at the the condition of your eyes with the most technologically advanced equipment. After taking very detailed images, I was diagnosed with Blepharitis and MGD (meibomian gland dysfunction). Estefani performed a deep cleaning of my lids and lashes and took great care to make sure all the irritation, dirt, and makeup residue was gone. Immediately after that I had the Lipiflow, which treats MGD by warming and massaging the inside of eyelids to restore healthy oil production and improve tear quality. I also have been diagnosed with Keratoconus and haven’t been able to comfortably wear contact lenses for years. Dr Faheen and Estefani are the experts with Scleral lens fitting. Since I have worn Scleral lenses it has been a real game/life changer. I am able to do so many things that I haven’t been able to do for a long time. My vision is 20/20 and crisp - I am in awe of how much I can actually see now. I appreciate the attention to detail and the kindness they have both shown me in this journey.
