Nick was extremely patient with us, answering tons of questions we had about the whole process, putting our concerns at ease. They went out of their way to help us decide on brand and color options, even so far as to put a sample color on the roof so we could better imagine how it would look. They took great care to keep the mess to a minimum, including covering A/C units, our pool, and pool equipment with tarps to keep them safe from debris. We have a very steep and large roof, but despite that they finished the job in two days. Definitely give them a chance when getting estimates for your new roof!“

“Texas Traditions replaced our 22 year old roof in February 2024. (Texas Traditions was very patient as we asked for a couple of delays from the original October 2023 roofing date to accommodate some family plans as well as the Thanksgiving and Christmas holidays.) With so many horror stories of fly-by-night, storm-chasing roofers, we wanted to use someone local with an outstanding reputation for quality and integrity. The quote was reasonable (and within with the estimate from our insurance company) and even included a custom chimney cricket and cap.

There were no difficulties during reroofing from the standpoint of the quality of the work, but we did notice that there were areas on a couple of the roof surfaces where the color was not consistent. (The attached picture illustrates the inconsistency on one roof surface where a couple of light streaks can be easily seen.) The Texas Traditions team (Stephanie and Garrett) agreed and a claim was filed with the shingle supplier GAF. GAF asked for a 90 day delay to see if the color inconsistency would disappear with the Texas summer heat. It did not, suggesting that Texas Traditions might have been supplied with the correct color shingles (Charcoal) but from 2 different manufacturing lots. GAF asked that samples which exhibited the color inconsistency be submitted for their lab analysis. After a wait of a couple of months, GAF agreed and took responsibility for reroofing the affected roof areas. The reroofing of those areas (2 planes, one on the east side, one on the north side) was done in September 2024, almost 7 months from the initial installation with good results. Matt, the site supervisor, was professional, courteous, and attentive to the requests we made to minimize the impact to our surrounding shrubs and pool.

While most people will not experience the particular problem we did with shingle color inconsistency, the integrity and commitment of the Texas Traditions team to "make it right" certainly gave us confidence as we worked through the 7 months that we would ultimately enjoy a good result. We do!“

“Another company recently did a sub-standard job on my new asphalt shingle roof. As my concerns started to add up, and I began going back and forth with the contractor; I decided to call around to other companies in Marble Falls to see if someone would be willing to give me a second opinion. Apex responded first and offered to come out free of charge. Adam Murrell and his associate went up on my roof today and found a few more issues that I didn't even notice. He gave me a lot of time and solid advice. My impression is that Apex is a company of integrity and I am grateful for their help in this situation.“
