9308 Anderson Mill Rd #600, Austin“Gabriel (5 years old) has been attending Austin Karate Academy for six months now, and our experience has been nothing short of fantastic. The sensei is truly remarkable—my child loves spending time with him and looks forward to every session. The dojo provides a welcoming and motivating environment where students can thrive.
One of the standout features of Austin Karate Academy is their online resources. These resources are incredibly well-designed, allowing students to practice at home effectively. It's clear that a lot of thought and effort has gone into making these materials accessible and useful.
The dedication and passion of the team at Austin Karate Academy are evident in everything they do. They not only teach karate but also instill discipline and foster a strong, supportive community. My child has grown not just in skill but also in character, thanks to the positive influence of the academy.
If you're looking for a place where your child can learn martial arts in a nurturing and inspiring setting, I highly recommend Austin Karate Academy. It's a wonderful place for kids to develop their skills, discipline, and confidence.“

The instructors here are always respectful and are tough (only for the love of the art) but also caring. It has been a great experience and we all share a bond with the school and between us through our time and memories here! TANG SOO!P.S. This is not a belt factory like the teachers say, you really have to earn your rank here“

1604 Glencrest Dr, Austin“Master Perkins clearly cares about his students and their progress. His studio is clean and he emphasizes safety. Appropriate mix of poomsae, self defense, and sparring following the WT/Kukkiwon curriculum. Classes are much smaller than other places (around 4-6 students) which ensures a lot of individual attention.“
5:30 - 7PM
3305 Hancock Dr, Austin“Started learning Aikido here through Sensi's Mark and Joani offering introductory 6 classes at our church. I was motivated for my daughter to learn some self defense before going to college. I'm still learning at the dojo and she graduates with a masters degree in May 2024. I am also motivated to change minds from ego to spirt centric. Grand Master Frank's books as well as presence at the dojo helps me more than words can say!!! The physical aspect of training is not that strenuous but keep up with it and the benefit and self defense confidence is getting better all the time.“
9 - 10AM
Belterra Village, 166 Hargraves Dr C550, Austin“This is a fantastic school to learn Tae Kwon Do! My daughter started when she was 5 and has loved every class. Grandmaster John Park is patient, yet firm. We noticed a major boost in my daughter's self-esteem, situational awareness, confidence and coordination. There are also adult classes! Highly recommend!“

13740 Research Boulevard, 1 Lake Creek Office Park Suite W, Austin“I have known Master Webb for several years and he is a very knowledgeable instructor of the arts and self-defense. I also work with him professionally in private security as well. As a martial arts master myself in Tae Kwon Do/Hapkido, I know guys that are the real thing and people that are not when it comes to teaching. Master Webb is the real deal in Wing Chun. I recommend Master Webb for adult self-defense tactics. As far as location and the gentlemen that gave a low rating because of that. First of all, I never have a problem contacting Sifu Webb and for those of you looking for Austin Ving Tsun, it is in Lake Creek Office Park and it is the only building in the center of the complex. As a fellow martial artist and brother in the security agency, I appreciate you Sifu Webb.“

5700 Menchaca Rd #365, Austin“W3LL : I'll save the Crypto-Talk for another time; I went for 8 weeks...Highly Recommend one of the Following -->1) Private Sessions1a) Because you'll only be conditioning if you're not part of a 'Program' (there are 3)2) Group Classes2a) This is operated by a great guy - he's patient and you'll get his input or recommendations3) Light Cross Training3a) There's room & space to practice agility plus a weight room + cable-exercises.Down (Reason for 4)Sometimes someone cooks something and trying to NOT break your diet becomes a distraction.I also recommened going, if you're 'gym only during non-MMA-type classes ; it's far from 'over-crowded' but if you're there for more than 75min you'll be distracted.Boxing & Kickboxing Coaches are Professionally-Friendly, they have larger lockers, stalls and showers (>1); I recommend taking plenty of water and if you're committed perhaps a diet that allows for continuous training becomes possible.I recommend trying for a 2 months at a time or 2 months on and 3 months off -- if you're uncertain with Strict Training. It's not 'you must work-out...but everyone trains for their Respected Sport.Parking is so/so.Drink Fridge.Scan-Keyring Badge.“

6001 W William Cannon Dr #307, Austin“Initially, Kuk Sool Won helped me manage as a single mother of four, there wasn’t enough time to drive each child to different activities, and martial arts was my way of staying fit, we took classes together, and traveled to tournaments; but the more exciting thing is that the whole school is one big family!
I was pregnant with my fourth child when I was a yellow belt , and got all the way up to second Dan Brown; I stopped for 20 years because of health issues and I’m just now coming back as a white belt ; people I was students with are now highly ranked instructors, it’s just amazing
♥️?♥️ if you are a senior like me with joint issues, come to the “Silver Dragons” Tuesday and Thursday mornings?????“
