“From start to finish, Spennato Family Roofing was professional, timely, and friendly. They responded quickly to our request for a quote and 4 days later I had an estimate. In addition to climbing up on the roof and inspecting it, they used a drone to get measurements of the roof and take pictures for us to be able to see the state of the roof. They took pictures throughout and at the end as well, which was so good to be able to see. The whole team, from Neal Sr, to Neal Jr, to the roofers were pleasant to have for around two days while they replaced our 35-year-old roof on a 200-year-old house! They were upfront about some potential additional costs due to some plywood being damaged, and it is obvious they are knowledgeable and experienced. There pricing was competitive and reasonable. “Umbrella Roofing is the poster business for customer service. Ed provided a thorough and comprehensive review of the issues with our roof including some root causes of the issues. He provided pictures and took the time to give explanations and education of basic roof installation. Although his estimate for the repairs was more than another estimate, the repairs were more comprehensive to resolve the immediate issues and position us to have the roof last. Umbrella Roofing also set us up to have the regular maintenance done to ensure the roof lasts and meets the performance expectations. Our roof was supposed to be a brand new roof so we did not except to have leaks or have a major repair less than 2 years after having the new roof was installed. Umbrella's entire team is great! “I have called Joe Cochrane to my home several times over the last 3 years since I bought this house. He has always responded in a timely manner to my phone calls and repair needs. Previous to tornado Ida, he repaired the flashing around my chimney that was allowing water to damage a wall inside the house. He also installed leaf protectors on my drain pipes. After tornado Ida, he answered my call immediately and worked to protect any further damage from occurring and then repaired the roof. Mike came to our home to assess the situation and provide an estimate. He was professional, thorough, explained ever option in detail, no hard sell at all; actually, saying we could probably get another year or two out of our old roof with a few minor repairs. We choose to replace our roof and could not be more satisfied with that decision and the results. The guys removed the old pink fiberglass stuff along with the wood decking, then returned after some other work to blow in insulation and install new floor decking.
