“Bridget has been a godsend. She is smart, responsive, compassionate, and an excellent resource. She feels like an extension of our family with how involved, sympathetic and proactive she has been. A few issues came up with the cemetery, the hospital, the obit, etc. She went to work on all of them and actually went to the cemetery herself in advance to fix a problem. I feel very grateful to have found someone so competent and compassionate at such a difficult time. Thank you, Bridget. And thank you to your wonderful colleagues, including Heather, as well. Would highly recommend Bridget as a top professional in her field.“
“I was very much uncomfortable with the obligation I had to my father to take care of funeral arrangements in advance Billy Logan understood this because it was experienced in the field with in 5 minutes I felt good about myself I was able to understand there's no need to be uncomfortable I CAN'T WAIT TO GET LAID OUT AT LOGAN'S“

“The Donohue Funeral Home family did a wonderful job helping us to honor my mother’s final celebration of her life. They were knowledgable, compassionate and available to me and my whole family during this challenging time. I appreciate and am grateful for all of their professional guidance and support. They showed caring attention to every detail. The memorial portrait done of my mother was particularly beautiful and I’m thankful for the time and care spent to create it.“

6410 N Broad St, Philadelphia“10/10 would recommend Goldsteins’ and the Director, Jennifer Woodruff. We arrived shocked and shaken up, and everyone at Goldstein’s was responsive, quick and timely, very clear in their communication, understanding of everything we were going through, and guided us through the whole process. They helped coordinate everything they could and gave context for every decision. Losing my dad was really hard and it was hard to have to set up all of his funeral arrangements in the same day, but Jennifer did everything she could to make it easier. Their long history and excellent record keeping meant that they could provide us with the choices my dad had made for his parents, creating the opportunity for us to link my dad to his parents in our choices. We are so grateful for Jennifer that day and for the whole process - couldn’t recommend them enough.“

3822 Ridge Ave, Philadelphia“What a perfect event! The musicians were absolutely incredible, not to mention funny and charming. Their musical set was a great combination of pop cultural and classic pieces, and every number was beautiful in its own way. I had chills so many times!Candlelight created a slightly spooky, but mostly just charming ambience in beautiful Laurel Hill and the whole event was very organized and well-thought out. I’m looking forward to attending other Candlelight events in the future. Thanks for such a wonderful birthday celebration!“

3711 Midvale Ave, Philadelphia“I needed to arrange a basic cremation for a family member who passed away. I live out of state and was surprised how "sketchy" the companies I called regarding basic cremation services - even ones referred to me by the hospital. I was very happy to have an honest conversation about the pricing and services by McIlvaine Funeral Home. I felt confident that it would be taken care of professionally and it was. A family owned business that was been around for decades. They clearly know what they are doing and the prices were very fair and competitive.“
“Recently and unfortunately myself and my family have need the professional services way too often of Stretch Funeral Home. From start to finish and all in between the Stretch Funeral Home folks just blow you away with their compassion, expertise and calming demeanor. The staff is very patient during your most sad moments. They are a 3rd generation run funeral home which says a lot about how much compassion they have during your difficult time.“

3300 West Chester Pike 2nd Floor, Newtown Square“A Funeral Home is one of these unexpected businesses, better yet, institutions, where people have to go when the unexpected happens. No one likes to think about the end of life and yet it is about the only permanent thing in life. Finding a good funeral home is key to the grieving process as well as ensuring a good departure for the loved one. My partner's mum passed suddenly on the return from our vacation to my mountain home. A shocker to everyone. The way our society has it scheduled, the process of grieving has to be done hand-in-hand with the business transactions that accompany dealing with an undertaker. That can add a substantial burden to the family, especially in the many cases where the funeral director is less than reputable. My partner's family went with this funeral director through a recommendation and it was a great recommendation for sure. John handled every detail with courtesy and aplomb, besides a welcoming serenity that made the business process second-nature. From assembling the viewing in compliance with every family dictate and wish, to scheduling the funeral details and post-funeral dinner, every detail seemed seamless. Frankly, I hope that I don't have to deal with another mortuary director. But in this case, everyone felt at ease through the demonstrated competence of the funeral director, which made the mourning process much more bearable. Kudos to him.“
“My mother is raving about the excellent way they handled my stepfather's cremation. Cheers to their caring and compassion.“

300 Fayette St, Conshohocken“Moore, Snear & Ruggiero Funeral Home has been an absolute godsend to my family and I. Between 2020-2023, we have experienced three devastating losses right in a row and MSR has been our rock, guiding us through it all. There’s a reason they’re the best in the area. They care for your loved ones as if they are their own family members. MSR presents ALL options as far as arrangements, payment, etc. and have been nothing but professional, respectful, upfront and honest from the start. If anything, they over explain to ensure you understand all the options available to you and provide recommendations and guidance throughout the process. They care about the people they serve and put them first above all. It’s so refreshing to deal with a funeral home that actually cares for you and your loved ones. You are always their top priority and it shows as their service is second to none.Funeral Directors Dan Gregori and Donald Moore, April and the entire team are outstanding and go above and beyond to take the burden off of grieving families. They are great people and quite literally take care of anything and everything you can think of, and everything you don’t think of, as you plan a funeral for someone you love during some of the most trying times of your life. They are truly a family business and treat their clients as such. MSR not only lifts you up in your time of need, but they take away the stress of it all so you can just grieve, honor your loved ones and be together as family. We won’t entrust our family’s care to anyone else and will continue to recommend them to every one we know. Thank you, MSR, on behalf of the Tulio, Carcarey and Della Polla families. We are forever grateful!“
“Joe and his staff were exceptional. He was always there showing care and concern. Highly recommended.“
