During the most challenging time of our family's life, with the passing of our teenage daughter, Moore, Snear & Ruggiero in Trappe, PA could not have made the celebration and burial of our daughter more respectful and beautiful. Our funeral director, Dan Gregori, was amazing. Even though we had just met, Dan felt like a close family member and just seemed to always know the right words to say as we took each step along the way and on the painful days of her viewing and burial services. Burying a child is not something you plan for and we were overwhelmed initially, but when we found Dan and his team at Moore, Snear & Ruggiero, we immediately felt we had the right team to support our family in our darkest hours. “A Funeral Home is one of these unexpected businesses, better yet, institutions, where people have to go when the unexpected happens. No one likes to think about the end of life and yet it is about the only permanent thing in life. Finding a good funeral home is key to the grieving process as well as ensuring a good departure for the loved one. My partner's mum passed suddenly on the return from our vacation to my mountain home. A shocker to everyone. The way our society has it scheduled, the process of grieving has to be done hand-in-hand with the business transactions that accompany dealing with an undertaker. That can add a substantial burden to the family, especially in the many cases where the funeral director is less than reputable. My partner's family went with this funeral director through a recommendation and it was a great recommendation for sure. John handled every detail with courtesy and aplomb, besides a welcoming serenity that made the business process second-nature. From assembling the viewing in compliance with every family dictate and wish, to scheduling the funeral details and post-funeral dinner, every detail seemed seamless. Frankly, I hope that I don't have to deal with another mortuary director. But in this case, everyone felt at ease through the demonstrated competence of the funeral director, which made the mourning process much more bearable. Kudos to him.“

After years of promises and excuses from other people you managed to get it done and kept me updated along the way. I can’t tell you how much I appreciate it. It was nice to visit my parents grave without first feeling anger over the stones condition.Updating my review to 4 stars. Riverside is lucky to have you.************It’s going on two and a half years now and my mothers grave still has no date on it.. Just a hole where they tried to engrave it, messed up, cut a chunk out and then glued a date in. A date which fell out within a month.They told me they are redoing the whole stone but as of yet nothing.“

Darryl and Paul were incredibly helpful, addressing my concerns promptly. However, the individuals answering the phones were disappointingly rude and unhelpful. Despite months of requests to speak with grounds, they offered no assistance. Fortunately, Darryl stepped in, listened attentively, and resolved every issue. Without his support, honoring my father would still be a challenge. Improvement in customer service is crucial for a better overall experience. 5 stars for Darryl and Paul.
