Takierra made me feel so welcomed to the shop, and did an amazing job on my hands and feet! I received a structured gel manicure as well as a structured gel pedicure and my nails have lasted beautifully! I was completely new to getting my nails done, and Takierra really set the bar high! My partner saw Natalie for a pedicure and their feet have never looked better! The whole staff was very warm, and the nail bar had a positive atmosphere. 10/10 would recommend. This is the first place that has cared about my nail health, the cuticle care (10/10), the artistry is some of the best I’ve seen. I cannot recommend them enough, but also, I hate how good they are and that I’m writing this because it means less appointment times available. Worth it though to see them succeed!

Bob Sendall and his team of chefs, servers and bartenders worked with me to honor my late husband with a beautiful "Celebration of Life Party" for around 100 friends, neighbors, co-workers and family. Bob and his team are pros. They knew how to maximize the space in my house to accommodate a large group of people, when to send and expect RSVPs and which beer, liquor and wines to select. Bob developed a wonderful delicious menu that my guests enjoyed and still rave about. After the last guest left the party I sat down to rest before clean-up. It took me a few minutes to realize and to my surprise my house looked as if a party never happened. They put away the left-over food and beverages, picked up everything and left my house spotless. This place is a hidden gem!!! I have never written a review but this place deserves all the praise. They are extremely affordable and the artist are all extremely talented. My artist was Terrel, he was very friendly and versatile in his work. His lines are sooooo clean and his shading is phenomenal. Please don’t waste your money at other places, because I promise nothing in Pittsburgh tops this place!!!

Dakota was AMAZING to work with on my first ever hair dye! She talked me through the whole process and answered all my questions thoroughly, and helped me decide on which direction to go when I was on the fence. I decided to go all the way and get a vivid sunset color. I absolutely love the result. I am a first time guest that has a friend that goes to this salon so I looked up the number and called to book my appointment.
Joe was my stylist. He was great and gave me exactly what I was asking for. We had a lot in common and had great conversation so the visit was enjoyable.
This is more my fault than anything, but I was not expecting a long cut to be $80. I have had a previous colleague or a family member cut my hair the past few years so I've only been paying around $30 + a nice tip. I know that's low but I figured a cut wouldn't be more than $50-65. I almost called back to ask but I incorrectly assumed pricing would be reasonable.
Let me tell you, I clenched my butt cheeks when I checked out and she told me my trim was $80. I proceeded to ask my long-haired gals in PA what a fair market value is for a standard long hair cut/trim. I received the responses of: $45, $50, $60, $65.
I would take off another star simply because the pricing is WAY too much for the value (at least for my needs, anyway). However, it is my fault for assuming pricing would be reasonable and not having asked when I booked or calling back to ask about pricing. I also just looked after the fact and see that pricing online is $65+ for a woman's cut.
It is totally my fault for not asking/checking pricing online, but I'm sure I'm not the only one that has encountered sticker shock when checking out for my services here.
That being said, Joe you were fantastic and I told you I would be back, but unless I am in a pinch, I will be looking for somewhere else local to find my permanent new stylist.
I was done straightening my hair … which I’d done for most of my life - over 40 years. I walked in with a vague idea of what I thought my hair could do and walked out in utter disbelief that my hair was actually that curly and full of volume & movement.
Janaya is a master of her art… she gets curly hair and showed me what is possible. I love her passion for what she does and her ability to see beyond the rats nest that was my hair! Bravo Janaya… I love it.
Beau is amazing! He took the time to go over my hair’s specific needs and work with me on realistic expectations on how i can get to my dream hair! Despite the fact i have a ridiculous amount of hair and he has to do extra work the prices are very fair for the quality you’re getting. They make getting hair a breeze- usually i struggle with conversation with other stylists but Beau makes you comfortable! I’ve gone to see him twice and plan on continuing in the future! Couldn’t recommend Spectrum Salon more!
I had to get a wig 4 years ago due to hair loss from chemo. I went in not knowing what to expect. the girls were very kind and cari no and took me back to the wig room. the owner also came in and also listened to what looki was trying to go for. mission accomplished I was happy with the style and the quality of the wig. I just found out 4 months ago I would need chemo again. my first thought where did I put that wig. my friend came over she emptied my dresser drawer but drawer and there it was all rolled up in a corner. I took it out shook it and it looked exactly like it did 4 years ago. thank you to all the girls and Jerry who helped me that day.
I got my hair cut by Ashley and she did an amazing job. I have pretty curly hair and she cut it dry, working with me to create a style when I wasn’t entirely sure what I wanted. Then, after being incredibly patient, she told me to come back after a week if I had anything I wanted to modify about the haircut. I took her up on that and couldn’t be happier with the final result. I had a tough time with past hair stylists giving me traditionally feminine haircuts, Ashley 100% understood the vibe and helped me feel more comfortable and confident. Definitely will be returning in the future. Sidenote, they have a very cute salon dog. Highly recommend.

His professionalism, congeniality, and generally affable demeanor have continued to bring me back in to the barber shop time and time again. It’s clear to me that his many years in the industry have translated to an incredible knowledge of his craft, and as such, I wholeheartedly recommend his services. Been with these boys for three years now. Was having seriously terrible luck finding someone who could give me a good beard trim, as I’m very particular. I was walking my dog in west view one day and noticed a cool dude crossing street. Sure enough it was Nick walking into a barbershop. Set up an appointment later that day and have never looked back. I have followed them to Bryant Street and then back to the north hills and wouldn’t dream of seeing anybody else. After being butchered by several random shops I have a shot, I can honestly say, Travis and Nick are the best in the city. I try to get out there every five weeks. They take their time and are extremely meticulous. 10/10, every time.

Been going here for about a year now, and Donnie is awesome. Super good attention to detail and takes his time to ensure a great cut. I’ve tried lots of different styles and Donnie’s been able to pull them off with great skill. As a gay guy as well, it can be intimidating to go into a barber shop and i’ve always felt welcomed and comfortable.

I usually just went to a normal chain hair cut place. Started going here and seeing Bradley - he always does an amazing job. Didn’t know it was possible to have a barber cut your hair perfectly every time. He really makes sure that you’re happy with what he does. I’ll never go anywhere else while I’m in Pittsburgh.

This is a super clean tanning salon! Good hours, plenty of parking, easy to find. Owner/staff are all very nice! I love that she has a website where you can schedule your own appt online. That's a really nice feature that many other tanning salons don't have. There are 3 levels of beds. The beds are a bit older, which is fine, because the bulbs are routinely changed. I recommend this tanning salon.
Kenna was super nice and knowledgeable. She customized the tan to my undertones and skin tone. I’m plus size/curvy/fat and felt super comfortable with her. There’s free street parking out front. I can’t wait to work with her again!

Love this place felt really comfortable when I was introduced. The tanning specialists here are very well educated and made my experience wonderful. The beds were magnificent I especially love the high intensity beds offered. As a pale person, I didn’t get burned very bad and was able to enjoy my free week. The only thing I would change are the prices they are hard to afford in today’s economy.

I have been coming to this spa for over two years and have had an exquisite experience each and every time. Some of the services I had received were nails, make up and customizable spray tans.
The nail artist recommended that I add a hard gel overlay to my service which made my nails last over three weeks. She also offers make up and spray tan services that are customizable to any complexion which is why she’s the best!

I was very insecure about getting a pedicure because of the damaged done to my nails from previous shops. Jennifer was very pleasant and came up with a plan to get my toe-nails back to health. Received the BEST scalp facial ever from Myranda. This was one of the most relaxing and rejuvenating experiences from start to finish. The head massage PLUS the arm and hand massage was amazing! I have been going to Jeffrey for a couple of months for neuromuscular therapy, and it has seemingly cured my chronic migraines after years of going to various doctors and specialists. His therapy has been seriously life-changing for me now that I'm not suffering from that pain. I recommend anyone who also deals with migraines to give this a shot (or even if you don't, I think everyone can benefit). Jeffrey is very professional, communicative, educational, and great at identifying and addressing problematic muscle tension. He ensures he is using the appropriate pressure and explains how to prevent muscle tension and be more self-aware of bad habits that can contribute to it. Now that I have gotten a handle on my migraines, he is helping me to maintain and has identified some other areas of tension I was completely unaware of. Can't recommend him and his services enough!

My wax services are always fast meaning The Master artist skill set is magnificent which allow her to move quickly with my wax services. The wax station is very clean and sanitary which helps with my anxiety with unsanitary work environments when being serviced. The Lashes are also a Top Tier service for me. Not knowing that I needed an appointment I showed up to the shop, so it was closed and I made a phone call. Went to voicemail but within 2 minutes Sean called me back. Within an hour I was in the shop. The work that Sean did was above and beyond. It's a memorial piece and a portrait as well and I had some significant alterations that I wanted done to it. It was absolutely no problem for him. I'm headed back Monday to get it finished up. I would 100% recommend Sean to anyone looking for some ink.

I needed a new toilet, I wanted a taller seated one and I needed it installed. OK Rotor Drain Cleaning came the same day that I called them and explained to them my service needs. Orlando was the plumber that serviced my request, and he was very professional, respectful, and friendly. He replaced my old toilet with a new, taller one. He cleaned the work area. He took away my old toilet, and I was very thankful for that. He did great work and very quickly. The price for the toilet and service was very reasonable. I am very pleased. I will definitely be calling OK Rotor Drain Cleaning again for my plumbing needs. I'd give them more than a 5 star rating if I could.
Had an issue with my kitchen faucet, was able to schedule Chris promptly to come out a replace. Chris kept me informed of his schedule and texted me ahead of time to let me know when he’d be here.The job was more in-depth than expected due to the nature of the issue with the old faucet, but Chris was able to complete the job at a very fair price for the work done. He also spent the time to ensure everything was clean and expectations were met.Chris will continue to be the first call for plumbing needs.
I scheduled with Mertz to have a toilet reinstalled. It wasn't a straight forward job because of the condition of the floor, which was uneven. The team, Dan & Heather, arrived early and had the job done in 45 minutes, even though additional drilling of the concrete floor had to be done. They were professional & the cleanup couldn't have been better. After having several bad experiences, I've found a "keeper" for my next plumbing job.

Our tankless water heater malfunctioned on a Sunday evening and Erik came out Monday morning to assess the issue. It was determined that the unit needed replaced and he had the new one installed by Wednesday morning. Both Erik and the office staff kept me up to date along that way so I was able to stay informed. We called for a gas line removal and capping. I called at 1:22 and left a voicemail. He called me back at 1:31 asking when we needed service. He was at our house at 1:42. Less than 15 minutes later! I couldn't even believe it. He quickly looked at the pipe, let us know what needed to be done and completed the entire project within 20 minutes. He was super friendly and professional, he let us know if we have any problems or need anything else (we're doing a full kitchen renovation) to let him know. The cost was less than we expected to spend and we couldn't be more happy in the timely manner that this was done. I thought we'd have to wait days for someone to come out! We will absolutely be calling them again if we need anything else.

Called at almost 9pm and he was at my place in 15 minutes and opened my apartment right up - very professional and courteous, does proper ID verification and gets the job done, highly recommend.
I needed repairs on 2 doors. Old locks, sticking locks, misaligned plates, deadbolts. I contacted Sherlock’s via a Google message symbol, leaving a message about 5:30p on Tuesday. Later on Weds about 3:30 I had not heard from them. I got a feeling this Google message symbol (via Google) may get not be working. So, I reached out to Sherlock’s. Immediately the young lady on the phone offered me an appt on Thursday 12-2 afternoon. I told her that did not work, I was in no rush tho and Friday world be ok. She then asked if Thursday or Friday 10-12 in morning worked. I told her-Thursday would be great.
She said the tech would call me 30 mins prior to arrival. Thursday morning arrived and the tech contacted me at 10:01 and he was on his way. Arrived about 10:30. So far so good I thought! He arrived and was professional, pleasant, thorough w his evaluation and showed me a thing on our very old door that we had not been seeing. A lil button of sorts that had to be pressed in or out and this would work both deadbolt and the other lock. He said we did not need another/new lock. We discussed options like keyless entry, new lock, strike plates, but he said just a lil oil would get things moving better and there was no additional charge-it was included w the service call. Great! I showed him our next old door….this needed some work as there was a crack in the wood, old plates not a good alignment. Again, we discussed options. He laid everything out clearly for me with what he could, would do w a new knob/lock and I would be paying for the knob/lock system Simple enough. He spent time drilling/expanding the wood around the hole to get things lined up. Fixing, filing old pieces of metal plate—he was very thorough! He made sure all doors, locks, knobs, latches were working before he presented the bill. He did a walk thru to make sure I, too could work these locks. Total was $140. Service call price and new hardware for my 2nd door.
We had wonderful, professional conversation and service from Tom. Who was the owner! I can honestly say this is one of the best services companies I have ever had since living in Pittsburgh! Tom made sure the job was done right and to my needs/specs. He was up front about what he would/could do and the price. He was on time, thorough, and happy. He enjoys his work and the company he has started owns/operates! Everything was excellent from his in office appt setter to his job completion. We discussed the Google icon 4 messaging as I wanted him to know there might be a glitch w Google. So, if anyone uses this icon and you do not hear from Sherlock’s, definitely take the min to call the company direct.

Tom mentioned it is a newer feature from Google. So, plz, realize it is an app issue w Google and call Sherlock’s. I mention it b/c sometimes customers use it and if no call back, they move on to next company thinking 1st option is not a good company. This is definitely not the case w Sherlock’s. Excellent service all the way around. I would use them again if a need arises and I will certainly recommend them to anyone.
I truly believe some companies lack good customer service w/bad phone manners or unpleasant techs or unhappy techs.

I needed the carpet in a townhouse cleaned before furniture was brought in and called three different companies for quotes. One was well known and the price appeared to be reasonable if I only had 3 rooms to clean. Once I explained there was a fourth room, two sets of stairs and a landing, the price skyrocketed. The second company charged around .40 a square foot and resulted in a higher cost than we expected also. When I called Clean Interiors, the woman I spoke with was friendly, professional and gave me a very reasonable estimate within minutes. She worked with us to schedule the date and it was a seamless process. The gentlemen performing the work kept in touch the morning of our cleaning and completed the job without any issue. The carpets are clean and I feel that the price was fair. I highly recommend this company!

Young Bros. Flooring are SO good at what they do! Just purchased my own first home, which had every room (and closet!) carpeted that I would be replacing all of it, especially since the previous owners had a cat (I'm allergic). But I had a very short window in which to get the entire project pulled together. Not only did Bud Young drive all the way across town at the drop of a hat to give me an estimate (which helped in the price negotiation) but the installers, Dave and Yuri, were literally artists working w/the vinyl wood laminate floors I choose. This was a whole house project, and when they were done, there wasn't a single crooked corner or board, not to mention they left the entire place spotless! I will definitely be calling Young Bros. when I'm ready to do the bathroom remodel next year. They're professionals all the way, the pricing was right within my budget, and unlike a home improvement or floors in day store, Young Bros. would've addressed any concerns I had...luckily they're so good at what they do I didn't have any!

I have been looking forward to putting a second bathroom in our house for YEARS. My main goal was, if we were going to do it, I did not want it to look like a half-done scary basement bathroom and Ryan absolutely made that possible. My husband is very tall so I was asking for the ceiling to be as high as possible. Ryan suggested just painting it black and I am so in love with how it came out. ? Rather than fighting the space I wanted to lean into industrial style with the brick wall and exposed pipes and Ryan was able to make it look EXACTLY how I hoped it would in my head. Seth and Greg make marvels in remodeling; they know how to fix the imperfections and how to adapt new items to old houses (here in Pittsburgh, these old houses are the rule). Their network of highly skilled professionals is a great addition, and they are honest enough to tell you when they have no expertise in some topics and avoid improvisation that can be costly for you. I'm thrilled with the remodeling they made in our old and tiny bathrooms (plus other things).

I called Complete Pest Control Services on Monday morning to come look at a yellow jacket issue in our siding. They were there next day right at the time they said.
Andrew looked through the issue, explained what was happening, and advised the best solution was a latent effect spray that should kill the nest over a few days. I asked about spraying other areas that I had seen the yellow jackets, and he was confident fixing the one area would take care of the issue.
It only took him about 15 minutes to spray, but it's been a week and a half and we have not seen any yellow jackets around our property. It was about $220 for the spraying which is about what I expected for a service call even if it didn't take long/take much product. I will definitely be using them in the future.
Jim promptly responded to my message. Even thought it was Labor Day weekend, he came to my house to take care of a huge wasp nest in my roof. Very thorough and meticulous! If I ever have another bee problem, Jim is the only professional I will call! Bees are gone! Thank you so much!!!!

Jordan and his entire team were professional and did exceptional work. We had new construction and our back yard wasn't in a great state. The soil wasn't great quality, the grass wasn't coming in, and it was not well graded. Our yard was pocketed and muddy.
We had a large plan to re-grade, add a deck and fence, and some large planting beds. Steel city was very flexible and got us in early to do the grading portion before the deck/fence went in and was able to come by later in the year to do the plantings.
Every part of the result is excellent. Our yard is much more usable, and the beds they added are beautiful. Several times I have been in our back yard and had people walking by comment on how great it looks and ask who did it. We will definitely be using them for future work and recommending them to any who needs landscaping work.
10/3 followup: By the end of the summer, a few of the arborvitae they planted had died. It was a brutal summer with record highs and almost no rain, so no surprise there. Steel City replaced them for free and somehow managed to do so without harming any of the many flowers and other plantings surrounding them. We also had them come and do aeration/overseeding/topdressing for our front yard (which was pretty barren). Just a week and a half later, it is absolutely lush.

Anthony and his crew did a great job of pruning, trimming, and cutting a huge, old, half dead Silver Maple in our back yard. We had perfect weather for December, so don’t think it’s too late to complete your project this year, or winter.If it’s not windy, and the conditions are safe, see if he can fit you in. That’s what he did for me after a quick call last week for an estimate. I called him Wednesday morning, he called me back Wednesday evening, then Friday he gave me an estimate, and at that time I told him I could also use some cord wood to burn in outdoor fire pit. Sunday he delivered wood, then Monday morning he arrived with his crew to tackle the old, big Maple. The enormous tree was partially hanging over the street, and a neighbors yard, next to a fence in the back of my yard. It was interesting to watch them handle a difficult task with efficiency and precision, and at the same time be careful and respectful of our yard, the street and the neighbors. Dr. Leof has been my dentist for over 20 years. Dr. Leof is a professional with absolute knowledge in her field. She is friendly, as is her staff, but Dr. Leof has the atmosphere of visiting a sister for care. She takes her time to examine your mouth thoroughly. I've had some major dental problems over the years she took care of each one. I can't say enough good things about her as I know that I have the best dental care available. I cracked a molar a couple weeks ago, and delayed going to get it fixed due to a bad experience with a different dentist in the past. On Saturday, it started to hurt really bad, and I couldn’t bare the pain anymore. I called Dr Maslos office, and they were able to get me in immediately on Monday afternoon. They called me back a little while later and told me they could get me in even earlier because of a cancellation. I told dr maslo and his staff about my debacle with a previous dentist, and they went above and beyond to make me feel comfortable, and explain every step of the way. They continued to make sure I was ok during the root canal. All my fears have gone away, and I found a dentist that I can trust. The pain was gone even after the pain blocker wore off. I am extremely grateful to dr maslo and his staff, and I would recommend them to anyone that has any kind of fear of the dentist.
I always ask FB for recommendations and Miracle Dental was the one. I have taken my two kids to Pleasant Hills for over a year, and they have efficiently coordinated with Babb Orthodontics to ensure we have the best possible care. Dental care is so different than it was in the 90's and my children both said "it didn't hurt" when they had numerous teeth extracted.

The staff at this office are so wonderful! We switched to this office when my son was still a little peanut. Dr. Udewku and the team always takes care of us! She treats you like a normal human being, understands that you are doing your best for your kiddo, and just cares! She may have ALOT on her plate, but this place is the best place to go. We moved to Norfolk two years ago, and nothing compares to the hospitality in Pittsburgh.

I have been a Tensegrity patient for a few years now, and I have to say that this is the place that you need to visit if you are having any kind of issue/pain/discomfort. I even recommend visiting to PREVENT getting to that point.
I have always had some issues with my spine and the pain that inevitably comes with being out of alignment. I benefited from treatment the most when I was beating my body up at the fire academy and was getting adjusted regularly. I noticed a huge difference in my mobility, pain, and even how well I was sleeping at night.
I am now nearing the end of pregnancy and am sticking to routine visits with Dr. Cory and I cannot even tell you what a WORLD of difference it is since I started getting adjusted again. I was suffering from round ligament pain, tightness and pain in my hips, and overall discomfort. After just two weeks, I am already feeling so much better. I can’t wait to see how beneficial it is postpartum as well. If you want friendly staff, a doctor who knows his stuff, and to feel your absolute best, Tensegrity is the place for you!

I saw Dr Steve for the first time yesterday. He was very professional. He walked me through everything that he was doing and why. He explained what his findings were in detail and it all made sense with what I was feeling and with what I experienced with chiropractors in the past. He had more success in getting my back and neck adjusted than I’ve experienced in recent past. This leaves me hopeful that I’m on the right track to feeling better. Overall I was very impressed with him and I’ll be returning tomorrow for a second treatment.

Dr. Dave is an incredible clinician and chiropractor, I highly recommend! I have only seen him as a chiropractor so far, and he takes the time to listen and connect, makes expert adjustments, and can answer any question with a knowledgeable and helpful answer! His broad primary care knowledge and experience is incredibly helpful as well, even when I just see him for my spine. I would recommend him wholeheartedly in either capacity.

Michelle Broadland is an excellent PA-C. I have been seeing her for my skin issues for about 10 years. She is very knowledgeable, professional, and it is wonderful to deal with her. Dr. David Broadland (her father) is amazing as well. Dr. Broadland had worked on my face and neck the times and you would never know where he worked. I highly recommend this practice for skin cancer issues.

I couldn’t be happier with our experience here! I have a 9 year old Shih Tzu and Dr. Mansfield was so thorough in going over her medical history and things to look out for in the future. The staff were kind and incredibly prompt which I appreciate so much, and the space was clean which I imagine is hard to keep up with at a vet clinic. Due to moving around a bit, my dog has been to three different vets in the Pittsburgh area and while they’ve all provided great care, I was most impressed by the care, staff, and provider at Lawrenceville Vet Clinic.

I can't say enough about the doctors and the techs here. They are always kind with my anxious pup. They get back to you quickly with any questions or appointment needs. The doctors take the time with my pup and that is what matters most.

We got a new kitten and she needed to be tested immediately for FIV. My regular vet couldn't see her for 3 weeks. I called this place and they could see her the same day. They were awesome. THE BEST dog groomers!! Linda is so sweet with my little girl. She was a rescue, and Linda was pateint and gave tips on what to do at home with her. Then, I moved about 45 mins away and Linda is still worth the drive because of her perfect cuts! Alfie leaves with a beautiful cut, ears cleaned, nails trimmed and Linda even gives her a little detachable colorful feather to add to her cute-ness! I wont go anywhere else! I couldn't recommend A Diamond in the Ruff any more highly. I spoke with Kathryn on the phone and in the salon and she was extremely friendly and helpful. They got my puppy in for his first grooming appointment really quickly and he had a great time making new friends while getting a great haircut. I'm so happy I found them and Charlie is too!

Karen use to cut my dogs nails years ago before she passed away. I taking my other dog today for a nail trim. Karen is such a sweet lady. She even remember me from years ago. She does grooming too but I always just got the nails trim. U have to call and leave a message and she will get back to u to make appointment. No walk in just appointment only. Karen was great with my dog. My dog got anxiety issues and was attacked when he was a puppy. He don’t trust no another dog since then. I plan on bringing my dog every month for a nail trim.

My cat accidentally knocked over a candle and stepped in hot wax (I felt terrible!!). I told Elle he should probably get his hind leg shaved and she told me if it were her cat, she would recommend just bathing and only shaving if it were medically necessary. I very much appreciated her knowledge and professionalism in knowing how to help my kitty. She got all the candle wax off and was patient with my grumpy boy (he does not like baths!) and recommended what brush I should use in the future as well as noticing he did have a bit of a burn on his hind leg (again, #CatMomFail). Her attention to detail and care of my cat is why I'll be bringing him back in the future!
Dr. Rob is an amazing practitioner! I've seen a handful of acupuncturists throughout the years with varying degrees of success, but Dr. Rob is incredibly skilled. His diagnostic process is spot on, he listens to both what the body and the person is saying to develop an effective treatment plan. I initially went to see him for some sleep issues and depression and within a month he had me feeling like a different person. He is more than happy to discuss and explain any of the modalities and treatments and he does so with an absolutely charming disposition. He also is incredibly honest and provides opportunity for you to weigh in on your progress and treatment plan (ie he won't tell you to come more than necessary). He is also very present during consults making sure he takes the time needed to answer questions and make you feel like you are getting his full attention.The practice has easy online appointment scheduling which is an added bonus and ample easy parking out front. The office itself is clean, comfortable, and welcoming and while I've had minimal contact with other staff those small encounters have been pleasant.Note that if you have mobility constraints to access the office requires navigating a few stairs down (with handrails) once you enter the building. I'm not sure if there is an alternate entrance.Go ahead and schedule for anything that ails you!

The best yoga studio in town, by far, and I've tried most. The perfect blend of breathwork, spirituality, meaningful flow, attunement and acceptance of all body types, and general, all around kindness. I haven't found a class, time or instructor that I didn't vibe with. They each have a fountain of knowledge and make sure you're comfortable. It's more than yogic-exercise here and I love that.
Drove 2 hours to attend a Wim hof workshop that Sterling hosted! Lovely Yoga studio with the friendliest staff! Love that there's a Salt Cave inside! Hope to make it back sometime ? Thanks for a wonderful experience!!!

I have taken gyrokenesis classes at Sneha for close to a year and have absolutely loved the studio, the people and this particular class. I have Lymphedema in my left arm as a result of breast cancer treatment and have found gyrokenesis (a type of movement, stretching, breathing exercise) to be enormously helpful in keeping my lymphatic system running well. Sneha is a peaceful, gorgeous studio. They offer a range of wellness and movement opportunities, although I just take the GK classes with Alejandro. My experience there has been a joy.
I’ve been attending classes since Dec, 2023.I’ve enjoyed all the classes I’ve taken this far. The instruction is on point and cueing is given when need. Everyone is very welcoming and friendly. The studio is always clean and organized with the proper heat and humidifier setting which is a difficult task to be consistent with. I’ve been really enjoying the music class taught by Steven on Fridays, they’re so much fun with great music.
The yoga factory provides the yoga experience I have been searching for. It is both serious and fullfilling. Each instructor is professional and dedicated to thier practice. I greatly appreciate that the class schedule states if there will be music. I do not like music while I practice. Because the yoga factory informs me of which classes will be playing music, i know which classes to avoid. Additionally the amenities are clean and well maintained. I am so happy to have found the yoga factory!
ViviPilates has been a wonderful place to learn the practice and gain strength and flexibility that I really need. Viviana and Kristin are great teachers, they are kind and supportive, and Viviana has created a fun and welcoming atmosphere. i also enjoy that it's located in the heart of Squirrel Hill with easy street parking in the front or the parking lot in the back - there's a back door to the studio from there.
Kim, the owner of Pilates Sol, is just delightful. She pays close attention to form and makes sure I'm always pushing a little harder, a little further. And all with a constant smile on her face. My body has never been better tuned. I love pilates, thanks to Kim
Lisa and Emelia at Touchstone Pilates have given me the ability to participate in my life again. Due to spinal issues that limited my mobility and caused debilitating pain, I spent the better part of two years in physical therapy but still had many limitations. I consulted with two spinal surgeons who both recommended spinal fusion surgery. A strong core helps with the recovery process after spinal surgery, so I called Lisa at Touchstone Pilates. Lisa instructed me over a decade ago and I knew she was extremely knowledgeable, focused and detail oriented as a Pilates instructor. The amount of knowledge she has about classical pilates and how it relates to the body never ceases to amaze me. After a few months working with Lisa, I felt so much better so I added an additional class with Emelia. She is an asset to Touchstone Pilates and I continue to benefit from her instruction. Both Lisa and Emelia tailor the session based on the clients' needs and abilities. They are professional and friendly and have a genuine interest in their clients' progress. At my last consultation with my neurosurgeon, he advised me not to schedule the spinal surgery because my mobility has increased significantly and my pain has decreased significantly. Thank you Lisa and Emelia.
Lynsey is THE best Pilates instructor and personal trainer in Pittsburgh! I knew nothing about Pilates before starting with her and she taught me proper form, technique and breathing. She’s helped me achieve my fitness goals and improve my overall health in the process. I am so much stronger and healthier because of Lynsey. I cannot recommend her enough. Whether it’s for class or one-on-one training, you’ll find no one better than Lynsey.
I just got home from a Cardio Sculpt class and it was my favorite. But that is how I felt last night after the Control class and 2 nights ago after Center and Balance! Oh, and the Suspend class and Flow classes are my favorites too! Joined about 16 months ago and signed up for unlimited classes which cost more than other gyms but I knew that I would go to get my money's worth. However, I LOVE these classes and the physical and mental impact each class brings. It is 50 minutes of ME time and all I have to think about is moving in and out and strengthening my body. The instructors of the classes I take- Julie, Deonna, Regina, Amy- all my favorites. So skilled. Challenging but fun sessions. One of the best decisions I've made. I am over 60 and feel much younger and flexible! Thank you for reading.

Solidcore classes will definitely leave you feeling like you got a great workout! I would recommend taking an intro class just to learn how a class works and how the machine works before a regular class if you are able.

I am obese and have been coming here about 5 times a week for a month. The first week I thought I might die. However, that improved and I can now touch my toes for the first time in my adult life. I have attended about 20 sessions and randomly discovered this. I'm pleased well see where I'm at after 3 months. Everyone is very nice and friendly and their water is the best..
They take great care of you. Connect you to your heart. I went there for a full body massage before as well as a reiki healing session. Sarah did my reiki she was amazing. This was a few years back but I'll never forget great place thank you.
Frankie gave me the best massage of my life (not an exaggeration!). They really took their time with all of the problem areas I mentioned and got into areas that I did not even know had tension and soreness. Frankie provided a very safe and calming environment, and they made sure to ask about any areas that I would prefer not to be touched ahead of time, which I extremely appreciated as most massage therapists I've seen do not ask that. I fully intend to go back and try and make regular visits!

Jessica is extremely skilled and has made a huge difference in my overall wellness. I first went to her for help with my migraines, which were caused by a bad concussion and are aggravated by muscle tightness. Seeing her monthly has greatly decreased the frequency with which I get migraines, and she has even helped me with other body alignment issues that I didn't know could be improved. She always communicates what she'll be working on each session and spends the time that's necessary to truly make a difference. Highly recommend!

Highly recommend a massage with Aaron! He did an incredible job with easing the muscle tension-head to toe-during my 60 minute massage. I thought two solid days of massage wouldn’t be able to do the trick! Aaron was also excellent at “reading the room”. When I was talking he engaged in easy conversation but when I was ready to just relax he did a great job of just letting me relax and enjoy the massage. Don’t let the store front scare you, it was a top notch, very professional spa & personally I felt the atmosphere was perfect. Can’t wait to return!

I've been coming here weekly, sometimes twice a week, and always get 60-90min massages, and up until today, Sat 06/22 I've never had a complaint.
Today I walked in to a new girl, (KiKi) and was VERY DISAPPOINTED.
Chose a 60min because I never had her before. The massage was by far the worst I've ever had. No pressure, basically light patting with some light hand rubs, never touched my legs or feet, and out of the hour I paid for, I received 23min. When I got up and walked out of my room, she was nowhere to be found.
I will never have her massage me again. I'm not giving up on this place just yet, but KiKi is bad for business.
Christopher is an excellent physical therapist! His warm personality with uplifting “Dad” jokes made his prescribed exercises easier. I found the entire office welcoming and helpful and now I am pain-free!

If you don't think it's possible to be sad your physical therapy is over... think again. I actually looked forward to my sessions at PPPT over the few months I was a patient for a lower back issue. I worked with Dr. Wheeler primarily but also had the chance to work with Dr. Hudson and Dr. Woollard. All three are fantastic. Not only are they knowledgeable, they are kind, caring and take a general interest in your well-being. I learned so much during my time and was provided with exercises to continue using to strengthen my body and prevent future injury. If you can't already tell, I highly recommend Pittsburgh Performance Physical Therapy!
I would highly recommend Dr. Mason Tupta's individualized and multi-modal approach to rehabilitating a recent injury. Skiing on iffy conditions may have not been the best choice, but choosing Direct Physical Therapy was a great choice!!!
As a 63 yr old avid cyclist with knee pain, a fellow cyclist referred me to Sean Crandell for a bike fit. It was 2 hrs well spent. After confirming that no major orthopedic issues were at play, Sean made a few adjustments to my positioning and I am now back fully enjoying the sport without discomfort. Sean has a great understanding of the musculoskeletal issues that can pop up in aging athletes, and specifically aging cyclists, who are reluctant to 'slow down'.
I experienced lower back pain and loss of range of motion, Dr.Gordon worked with me for several sessions to resolve my issues. Now my pain is gone, I feel 100% again and flexibility is back. He is very thorough and compassionate, I would highly recommend him to anyone in need of physical therapy.

Dr. Tyler is an outstanding acupuncturist who relieved me of acute cold symptoms before a trip abroad. I also hugely appreciate that he keeps his price points accessible to the community. Can't wait to keep visiting him.
I had a large dentigerous cyst surrounding an impacted wisdom tooth that had grown to the point of almost breaking my mandible jaw bone prior to surgery. Surgery was done 7 months before I met Dr. Wang. Had I known how much help acupuncture and her skilled hands would've helped me I would have come much sooner.
The surgery was very invasive and caused severe nerve damage. I had numbness and loss of taste in half my tongue, numbness in chin and lower lip and the entire lower half of my jaw and the only sensations I could feel were pain, never ending nerve pain. From the very first appointment and treatment my pain went from a constant #6 on pain scale to a #2 leaving her office on first visit. I had 6 total visits and my pain is gone.
The chronic pain for 7 months had also caused loss of hope and depression. These treatments have not only healed me of my pain and suffering, but have significantly healed me of my depression as well.
Since the first treatment I started sleeping straight through the night, I had more energy for daily living than I have ever had, I started making better choices in my diet, my elimination improved, I had clearer thinking and I continue everyday to have improved sensation in my tongue and lower jaw. I have had a total of 6 treatments and I am all but healed from my ailments.
I cannot sing the praises of acupuncture and Dr. Wang enough. I encourage anyone with nerve pain to come in and try this healing modality. I believe if I had come in sooner my results could have been even faster. Dr. Wang is clearly passionate about her work, she listened and went right to work. She is nothing short of a miracle worker in my opinion. She has changed my life. My husband continually says to our family and friends, "I finally got my wife back!" I could not be happier and I will continue for the rest of my life to go to Dr. Wang for any issues and will always recommend her! She deserves 10 stars!!

Going to Andrew has been life-changing. I've only had 6 sessions, but the improvement in my health--physically, psychologically, and emotionally--is drastic. I came to him really struggling, with chronic Lyme, EBV, Candida, anxiety/OCD/panic, migraines, POTS, fatigue, PMS...even heartbreak. My health was unstable, and my system was extremely weak, stressed, and sensitive. My first appointment, I arrived anxious and discouraged, but his presence was immediately comforting. He affirmed my struggles in a kind, caring way, and knew all the answers to everything I was going through. He felt my pulse and, like magic, could discern the state of my health (he asked if I had had a recent shock to my system...I had, and somehow he even could tell where I was feeling muscular tension). Five appointments later, my PMS has largely disappeared, my anxiety/OCD/panic is decreased, my migraines are rare, I have more energy than I have had in years, my heartbreak is mending (an unexpected bonus), and my infections, which have plagued me for years, are resolving. Granted, I have already been through years of treatment for my Lyme and other infections, but the healing process was long, drawn-out, and extremely taxing. Since starting acupuncture, however, my healing has progressed in leaps and bounds, and my system has recalibrated and strengthened as a whole. I even have the numbers to prove it--I recently got bloodwork done, and all my panels came back great, including my EBV count, which is markedly decreased. So, if you are considering getting acupuncture here, do it. It will likely be one of the best decisions you ever make.
