“This past June I had the occasion to pre-plan the funeral of a lifelong, dear friend at Logan Funeral Home. As you can imagine, doing so is stressful and challenging because it forces one to deal with a subject that none of us wants to think about, the loss of a cherished friend or relative.
The staff at Logan Funeral Home made this difficult process that much less onerous by being informative, empathetic, and responsive to all of my questions. Everyone I dealt with couldn’t have been kinder, but I’d like to give special praise to Funeral Director Erika Haas whose warmth and support is greatly appreciated. She never failed to respond to a question or to reach out proactively with information she thought important.
When my friend passed away, Logan assured that the plans made for the funeral mass and burial were carried out to the tee. “Been coming here for years for funerals first Tommy zaroff …now phyllis zaroff …its a nice place …but to me just in the wrong neighborhood there is no parking for no one both times I came here it’s a yuppie neighborhood there’s no parking anywhere around here …and the people around the funeral home have no respect for any one out there …like I said great place great people who work here but all in a tight spot!“

They offer specific tours on famous Philly people, military people entertainers writer's scientists and more. They hold a masquerade ball and other events. This day we were here for The Market of The Macabre which offered creations and wares from creative people offering up candles lotions jewelry decorations the weird the odd the unusual the Macabre and all those other Halloween delights. We enjoyed looking at the stuff and conversing with the owners about their creations. Plenty of port of potties but they could have a few more food options the lines were long and it was a bit warm.“
