I have been amazed seeing their growth since joining as some can imagine keeping toddlers still for even a minute can be a challenge. I even became a member myself after months of my son asking me to join him on the mat. It's given us another thing to bond over. I've been enjoying the adult classes as it's introduced me to other wonderful people while learning moves and self defense. We work hard but also have fun and laugh. They are a family run dojo and did an amazing job of acclimating our student and allowed him to utilize the belt level he was currently at to start.We love that all of their katas are taught in practical terms of self defense. They also discuss value lessons weekly, where they go over characteristics of leadership, gratitude, goal setting, (we especially love that students are required to set goals so they can see progress).
