After talking with Joe about this project for a while, I hired Garrett Group to fully renovate my bathroom, converting the tub to a shower, moving a radiator, installing vanity lights etc. Their team was professional, efficient, and highly skilled. The quality of their work exceeded my expectations, and the attention to detail was impressive. We hit a few issues toward the end of the project and Joe came himself to walk me through his action plan for fixing and addressing it without any additional cost.

They seem to only know how to cut one style of fade, and do not pay attention to hair styles, waves, or hair direction. They're cheap, so if in a pinch, definitely worth it. Barbers are friendly and there's great value if bringing a kid. Clean shop, too.

The girls here are seriously the best. I’m not the type to leave reviews, trust me. My son is 6 years old and has lower functioning autism. This is the ONLY and only place he will go. With each haircut meltdowns began to decrease dramatically. The last time we went about a month ago he was laughing and giggling the whole time. Saying the few words he can like wow and thank you! The girls here are so quick yet so so efficient. Great prices as well. You will not be disappointed here!

I’ve been to different tanning salons and this is by far the best. I love the bed options especially the one with red light therapy. I also like that you can put different options for how strong the lights are so if you’re new you don’t burn. The staff are helpful with explaining everything

This place really came in clutch for a last minute nail emergency! I wanted to refresh my nails and they got me in right away, greeted me and got me settled in. Very clean and beautiful shop, I believe Chantanda helped me do my nails even though I wanted a complicated design that was originally for longer nails, we worked together to get a design that would help me keep my nails short as I requested. This came out so gorgeous as a gel set and the prices are super affordable for the high quality of work and great attentive service. Highly recommend!

Requested style: I always come in with a request, and while I can be a pain haha, they always deliver without complaint. They are on point and never miss the mark on the color or design. If I don’t like something, there’s no hesitation to fix it. If I can’t decide on something they help and don’t rush me. If it’s getting close to closing time they still take their time and do their best even if they work past their closing time. I will never go anywhere else, I’m so glad I found this salon and have coming for quite some time now. Also, owners Jesse and Jason are always on-site working, which is admirable and rarely seen in other places and they always support their employees ❤️

I received my first dermaplaning facial ever on Friday and I could not be happier. First off the spa was so cute, loved the ambiance. Yasmeen so was nice and explained every step and product she was using on my face. She explained post care and any potential side effects (thankfully had none!). I set up an appointment with the artist Zoe there for a forearm tattoo. Upon entering the store everyone said "Hi" or "Hey!" And then walked me through the paperwork necessary for the tattoo. Zoe cane down and brought me to the artist room, very clean and fun designs too, where she had everything set up already. Very sterile and organized. She put on some music and we talked most of time she worked. It was a ball!! So much fun, and then we completed the artwork was amazing!! 100% recommend and I will definitely be going back for more work when I can.
Jenny?? I think her name is??? She is the girl that does the piercings here. She is super gentle and extremely knowledgeable. My son, my friend , my husband (too chicken to get anything pierced but is covered in tattoos) went to Street Rd yesterday and the owner and Cruz??(name?) the other tattoo artist were sitting outside when we walked up and asked if we could get three piercings done. They told us that the girl had just left 5 minutes ago but they called her and she actually came right back for us! All of the piercings turned out great and their prices are very reasonable. I felt safe in her hands and she was very sterile! Now, finally, my 7 year old daughter wants to get her ears pierced but they must be busy bc no one’s picking up. I hope she’s there again today! Pics of my son’s nose piercing and my piercing are attached. Don’t mind mine. I just got it yesterday and it’s pretty swollen.
Requested style: My friend got an Industrial on his right ear. I got a small piercing below the right corner of my lip. My son got the right side of his nose pierced.

Joe has done work previously for me at my rental property. He was a referral and when it came the time to need a plumber at my own home he was the first person I called. I texted him around 8pm on a Monday and he called me immediately and offered to come that same night! I assured him it could wait til morning. He was here the next morning and less than two hours later he cleared my drain. He stayed and ensured it was completely cleared and kept me informed throughout the whole process. He is extremely knowledgeable and professional. Quick and efficient. Thanks Joe!!!
Rich is an extra licensed plumber. He has been our plumber for the last 20+ years and lives right around the corner. He shows up on time, doesn’t try to “up sell” you and returns calls promptly. He had been here in late Nov and Dec to route out drains on each of our 2 floors and replace a kitchen faucet. There was a flood in our dry basement (use to be my mom’s ceramic shop) as our old sump pump exhausted itself trying his job and the job of other 2 pumps. Hubby bought 2 aluminum submersible ones and some parts. We did not realize it was rusted until it fell apart when my husband tried to take it out. Rich suggested different parts than we had and went to Home Depot to buy the correct ones for the pumps we bought. He is personable, honest, reliable and loves his job. Sit down give him some water and discuss what has to be done. Take a chance, you will not be disappointed.
This company goes above and beyond on their service, they came out to my house to check on my gas heater, even though they didn’t have to, less than five minutes in, and they already knew what was wrong with it, they could’ve resolved my issue the next day, but they had to wait for the company that rents me the place to give the approved, The day that the company approved same day, they call me to establish what’s the best day to come in and fix it, The people on the office and they employees that come out to do the work are 1000% friendly, I vote for this company and 100 thumbs up
So, as a landlord that lives far out of the Delaware Valley these days, but still owns a property in Philly, my experience with Sam Wexler Plumbing was a bit of a mixed bag all in all.
On one hand, they were fast enough (next day service), and seemed to do a good job from what I seen in the photos sent to me by my tenant after the work, and from what my tenant told me after the work was done.
On the other hand, the front office people who answer the phones told me I would get a copy of the receipt via Email, and the confirmation number, or whatever it was called via text message.
It is now the day after they got their payment of $210, which from what I was told is the full bill payment... and, the one they kind of leaned on me pretty hard to get out of me so quickly.
I was under the impression they could sent me the bill in the mail, nit want payment "at time of service delivery".
And, no matter how you choose to spin words, there is no reason you couldn't have sent me the bill via the mail.
Or, at the very least, give me at least a day or two to pay. After all, It's not just plumbers that are busy people. So am I. So are many people.
If I was like Sam Wexler Plumbing, I would reciprocate and return the favor and lean hard on them until they sent me the receipt and confirmation via Email and text LIKE THE WOMAN ON THE PHONE SAID THEY WOULD.
But, I'm not like them. Otherwise, I would have by now.
Plus, they called my tenant today, asking what is going to be done about the bill TODAY, the day after IT WAS ALREADY PAID IN FULL for $210.
So, I'm knocking off 1 star in my rating for these things. In fact, I think maybe I would actually rate Sam Wexler Plumbing more like 3 and half stars, to be honest.
In closing... the work was good, the billing department and other front office people answering the phone lines... erm, not so much.
They started to make me feel almost as if I owed money to a high pressure loan shark, or something.
Plus, I have now taken notice that Sam Wexler Plumbing sure seems to have quite a lot of 1 star reviews from disatisfied customers.
So, yeah. Again... it was a mixed bag overall. Potential customers, take note of these things ahead of time with Sam Wexler Plumbing.

Ken is a lifesaver literally most of my power went out and I went through different Electricions who were dishonest and just tried to charge for the worst scenerio possible without even taking a look to much in the issue . I found Ken he came out had a very chill vibe and he was extremely knowledgeable and found the issue he’s incredible I was stressing so much and he fixed my problem in less then a half hour and didn’t even charge me!I couldn’t believe the miracle that bestowed upon me I could hug him .my family thanks u so much and he gained our trust we will be back for him to take care of our fuse box.he came out same day by the way! Floor install systems refinished our floors and sanded and stained our staircase and rails. After a few days the Wood filler that was used on the stairs became visible. Immediate attention was provided and the stairs were fixed without any hassle. We are so pleased with the floors and stairs

PatioEnclosures has done fantastic job in building the sunroom in our covered porch. Their work is excellent, very meticulous and very clean. Pat Radley and his team did great job exceeding our expectations. I highly recommend them, they are expert on their work.

You know what you are getting into upfront, which now of days is very rare. Joe and his team helped me during a major sewage back up that destroyed every level of my home. They did such a beautiful job after i had just finished renovating! They got my house back together and even got completely rid of the sewage smell! Which let me tell you, the mitigation company treated 3 diff times and couldnt even do that. They replaced the entire Hvac system, replaced all the air ducks, new sub pump and clean out, treated all the wood and areas with kills, replaced walling /insulation and laid new flooring down. kitchen cabinets/counter/sink, trim work, all new doors, painted walls…..the whole 9! The workers were literally there promptly EVERY DAY the same times and were hardworking, trustworthy, and knowledgable. GREAT Guys!!!!!So much so that it allowed me to focus on work as I was comfortable enough to leave them alone in my home while i attended work. Joe and his team made this process so much easier! 10 star and would recommend to anyone looking to have a job done promptly and done right!
Bella Brothers remodeled our kitchen earlier this year - couldn't be happier. Great communication and craftsmanship. Good project management (project was on schedule and in budget, no hidden or unexpected fees), no dealing with subcontractors, quality finishes but not over-the-top/luxury pricing, and they were really helpful in explaining what would cost a little less, a little more or A LOT more.
We were able to nearly double our cabinet & countertop space in our tiny rowhome kitchen. So glad we did it and would definitely work with Bella Brothers again!
During the hottest time in August, my AC unit started having issues. I called half a dozen service providers and none were available. JG Services however, sent a technician quickly to diagnose my issue.
We discussed various options and decided to replace the whole system since it was already 18 years old. They handled the whole project expertly and professionally. It all went smoothly. I was very pleased with the quality of work they did as well as how well they cleaned up after the work and left the area spotless.
Hopefully I won’t need their services again for a very long time ;-). If I did need them, I would use them again without hesitation.
Skip is a long time friend, My mother in law has a 1 bathroom home and the tub drain had an issue, she tried to use a snake got it stuck and needed an emergency service. I cannot recommend Cardinal Wood Cabinets highly enough. The quality of workmanship and installation was superb. All the people we met from here were an absolute delight to interact with and a pleasure to have in our home. They made the whole experience even better. Cardinal responded almost immediately when other places we contacted didn't call back for weeks. They were flexible with us about minor changes and just did a beautiful job all around. George and his team were great from the start! I called him about a week before our community project was happening. Our neighbors participated in the Philly clean up day on April 6 and we wanted to plant a tree/ garden area in memory of a neighbor who passed away. When I explained the project to George, he responded, “I got you, don’t worry.” And he was right- I didn’t have to worry. His guys showed exactly when they said they would. They promptly started working hard and had everything completed in under two hours. They were friendly, helpful and professional. Bros Hernandez did an amazing job. Our yard has never looked so nice. They went above and beyond my expectations, and their price was the best out of the three estimates I received. They did all my weeding, mulching, hedge trimming, and also filled in the patio pavers with sand to prevent weeds from growing. I would highly recommend you call them and give them a try.

Dr Schwartz and his dental assistants are FABULOUS. If it wasn't for the 2 front desk associates (apparently mother and daughter and you know what they say about apples and trees), I'd absolutely give a 5 star rating. My husband had AWFUL teeth. Terrified of the dentist, we were recommended to Dr Schwartz for his honesty and easy-going personality. He is a FANTASTIC, honest, gentle dentist who understood my husband's fears and reminded my husband that he, being the patient, was in total control. My husband needed an anti-anxiety med for the first 2-3 appointments. Around the 4th appointment, he no longer felt nervous going to the appointments. This brings me to the front desk staff. There's an older woman who needs to retire FOR SURE because her attitude is trash. In the past, there was never an issue with running my husband's insurance to find out what would be due at the time of the visit. Suddently, with trying to schedule our first appointment of this year, she couldn't run insurance. Then I called again, hoping to talk to someone else, and I did get someone else. Her attitude was WORSE than the first associate! She quoted us a deductible and we went to the appointment last night. I was asking the younger woman (the daughter) to explain our deductible and dues to us and she addressed me as my first name and followed up with, "I run the insurance. This is what I'm telling you." No explanation until I asked to talk to someone else. This office would have a 10/10 stars for cleanliness, dental staff and communication if they'd consider replacing the front desk staff.
Dr. B did an excellent job. Diana was professional, , very friendly and helpful. Considering my age, I'm sure I will never have to find another dentist.
I’ve been coming here for a few years now, and so has my mom and grandmom. The staff is amazing here, I always feel so welcomed whenever I walk in. They’re quick and efficient too, I’m usually in and out of here within a half hour. Such nice people and the doctor is quick and knows what he’s talking about. I recommend this place to anyone looking for a dentist.
Always friendly staff, they are professional and thoughtful, looking out for every detail to make sure the jobs done right and as fast as possible, especially when you’re in the chair.
My son (who has autism) used to be anxious about dentist appointments, but this practice has completely changed that! Each visit has been a positive experience, and the staff consistently goes above and beyond to make him feel comfortable and safe. I’m so thankful for their kindness and expertise.

Dr. Stef is the best! The whole office is so friendly and welcoming. At my first appointment I was basically limping into the office and after only a few appointments I feel so much better. I'm walking and sleeping better!
Great adjustments. Was in lot of pain Thursday. Dr. John did my adjustment and back is wonderful. Highly recommend anyone who has back pain to see him
Dr Brady has an exceptional team and he himself is an outstanding Chiropractor. He takes his time and explains everything as to what he is doing and why also shows me on the bones where and how things have gone wrong . He has helped my back and sciatica in every way possible. I couldn’t be more grateful for him .

I needed an appointment asap, my back was jacked up from getting out of bed wrong, being new to Dr Madnick, he got me in straight away and was able to adjust out several pinched nerves, it was like instant relief??Staff was very nice, very attentive to your problem, squeezed me in at the last minute, I can’t speak highly enough to the treatment i received here, Dr Madnick is a Real Chiropractor and his office staff is very Professional , I have already sent other people seeking a good Doctor to him!

The staff is very professional. I would recommend them for treating your pets. Everyone is courteous and helpful and the dermatologist always sends a summary of your visit via email after the fact for your files.
Dr burns is the best. She was so kind delivering the hard news my dog has cancer and needs surgery. My dog was very at ease and snuggly with her. I always trust my dogs judgment
Well this is an update id give this place 50 stars if I could. They were very helpful kind and patient with me. This vets office is wherever he choses
I love this place. The service is super and Jay and Kushali made me feel welcome. Jay is very good at what he does and you can talk to him about your problems and he will listen and give good advice. Kushali is always sending you emails and texts to remind you of your appointments. I would recommend Physiomove to anyone in need of physical therapy.
