Kirk was by far the most thorough, personable, knowledgeable, and sane. The others were fast talking sales folks essentially stepping on the competition trying to make themselves look superior.The work started onetime, the guys introduced themselves and have to say, they were a breath of fresh air. They were polite all about the “please” and “thank you”. A basic courtesy lost these days. “Lyubomir and his crew did great work repairing and refinishing our original Douglas Fir flooring. Our floor is heading towards the end of its practical lifespan, and other contractors recommended replacing with a new floor. However, Lyubomir encouraged us to keep the original flooring (what we truly wanted to do anyway), and worked hard to make sure the floor was secure, broken boards replaced, and balanced the sanding to gain a beautiful look without going so deep to encourage further breakage. They were a pleasure to work with. Highly recommended.“
“Our kitten made a urinary pit stop (or 4) on our leather couch during her litter box training, and Pro-Tech was able to completely remove the odor and much of the stain. They also re-conditioned the whole couch, and the leather looks better than it has in years. I'm super impressed with their service, and would call them again for any deep cleaning job. *Very* reasonable prices and quite friendly and professional. “We found Union Floor Company after they refinished floors for a close friend. Our original hardwood floors had been covered with awful stain (red undertones) and beaten up over the years and quite frankly, looked pretty awful. However, Union Floor Company completely revived our floors to their original 1920s glory. Union Floor Company is pretty much a two-man show, with one person doing all of the onsite work. It took about one week to complete the job, from sanding to staining to letting things dry out and it was totally worth the wait. some of the best money we've ever spent to have such an amazing transformation. We went with water-based stain/clear coat for that modern look (photo attached of before/after).“

“Joe and his team put in a gorgeous white oak floor throughout my new house in record time. I had a pretty small window to get the work done, and they were there the first day the floors were cleared and ready to go. The results were lovely, and Joe himself came to pound in a nail after the work was done. It's so nice to come home to clean, light, easy-to-sweep floors that feel great underfoot. I considered laminate or carpet as a "low-cost" alternative, but when you do the math, it's worth it to get floors you can refinish multiple times. Best of all: the dog pee smell is gone from the house forever. Hurray!“
