I have gone to two other places, and they don't compare not even close to Wilsonville Vision Center (WVC). “My mother and I came in today to check her vision for age-related eyesight conditions. The receptionists, especially Christina, were so friendly, sweet, and super helpful to my mother. They didn't rush my mom at all and helped her with all of the questions she had. They deserve all the praise. Then my mom was seen by Dr. Quiba for the vision exam. I felt that Dr. Quiba could be a bit more patient with older patients with bad vision. There's no need for snippiness towards polite, older patients who have worries about their worsening visions. There's no need for an annoyed look when the patient's family members ask questions. We as a society could do away with that sort of behavior. :( It wouldn't have been a concern if it was just me that was going in for a vision exam, but I'd want my mom to be treated with respect and kindness that she shows everyone else around her. I'd recommend taking this review into consideration if you're planning on taking your parents or older family member in for an exam.“

“I've never been a big fan of obstetricians. Until, I found this place. The doctor spent so much time with me answering all my questions and even providing me information on things I didn't even think to ask. I ended up getting the perfect pair of eyewear and I am so happy. I recommend this optometric.“

“It's been about 2+ years since I've noticed my eyes feeling noticeably drier so I came for dry eye treatment via my friend's recommendation. On my first visit, while I did have to wait ~30+ mins because they were running behind, when I was seen Dr. Schmitt, I was appreciative that he was very attentive and informative, and didn't rush through our time. The space is also very clean and modern. The staff is friendly and helpful, and they examined my eye for meibomian gland health, tested my eye pressure, checked for how quickly my tears evaporated, and looked for dry spots on eye with a yellow eye drop. Because I had "give" bumps from allergies on the inside of my eyelids, I was prescribed a steroid eye drop for a few weeks, then the plan is to heal the dry spots on my eye with a round of Neoxflow instead of prokera. Then a series of 4 IPLs or similar to improve tear quality and volume/ production, and to help unblock and glands. I love that I can go to one location (they also have a Portland office) to get the full treatment. I've got everything scheduled and am looking forward to seeing how my eyes respond!“

“My family has had a rough time with other optometrists (VisionWorks and the like), and after extensive review searching, we visited Dr. McBride and Dr. Sullivan. Not only did Dr. McBride take exceptional care accommodating all of my kids' questions, but he thoroughly explained everything in a way that was easy-to-digest for neurodiverse patients. My teen is trying out contacts for the first time and Dr. McBride has been extremely patient and supportive during the entire process. Dr. Sullivan worked with me and is the first optometrist to dig deeper into my chronic eye issues that no one else could figure out, and she is completely supportive in helping me to find the answers so I know how to best take care of my eyes! We're so grateful to have found these optometrists!“

Whereas other places weren't able to fit me successfully, Carkner's was. I've been going there ever since. I was very fond the the former front desk person and have found Karen to as friendly and helpful as the person before. Carkner's isn't the most economical place in town, but they're super focused on patient service. Carkner's is the best. Visit them and you won't be sorry.“
