“All four of my cats receive care here. Usually, they're very quick about getting cats into exam rooms since it is a waiting room shared with dogs but once we did wait in the general waiting room for 5+ minutes. The parking lot is very small and sometimes full.“

“TL;DR Dr. Beswick is super caring, takes his time, the entire atmosphere is calming and comfortable, it's clean.

First time visiting this clinic with my new kitty Tanner, based on the reviews and the number of positive reviews. This is the best vet clinic I've ever been to. Dr Beswick listened to the questions I had and answered all of them.

From the front desk staff, vet techs, and doctor, everyone was so chill, definitely all the Portland vibes, and kitty was comfortable.

“One of the best, most responsive vets imaginable. Easy to make an appointment, online or by phone, and as a way to nurture the relationship, said we could stop by any time for a treat for our pooch.
Dr. Castle was extremely helpful in getting to our Molly's problems, providing meds and suggesting things for us to do to help our dog stay healthy. Vet assistant and reception were wonderful as well, having obvious connection to animals.

“We have recently moved away from the Portland area and one of the biggest losses for us was leaving Viking. Over the course of the decade we were with Viking, Dr. Gilbert, Dr. Hendricks, and their teams saw all 4 of our fuzz butts, 2 of them through the end of their lives. We have never been more grateful than to have been directed there after several bad experiences elsewhere. The quality of care from start to finish for both us and our pets was top notch. We cannot recommend them highly enough. For the last 5 years we have primarily seen Dr. Hendricks. Her and her techs took the time to get to know our pets and their quirks, including working with our extremely anxious dog and over the course of that relationship earning her trust. They explained everything they were doing and why. And they always stayed within the budgets we had whether it was for routine care or the many old man dog issues. They have set the bar for any future vets we work with. And that's a high bar. We will be forever grateful to the whole Viking team for everything they've done for us. “After our first appointment at Alberta Veterinary Care, we're glad we've started taking our cat with chronic health issues here. They were extremely prepared and knowledgeable about her very complicated medical history. They were very kind and reassuring, and great at handling our cat, who is very willful and does not like to stay still during vet visits. We left our first appointment with a better treatment plan than we've had in the past.“

“I'm not sure we have dealt with Dr Gilbert... We use Viking Veterinary and have seen several vets, but last year or so mostly just two of them.

“This place is #1 in my opinion...they are there to help low to no income families with animals that need vaccinating, chipped, or registered...they only do vaccinations for free based on your income or if you're homeless..I recommend them if you need to get your fur baby shots..they also have a donation site where you can go 1 time a month to get free food, flea treatments, leashes, harnesses, toys, jackets, beds, etc ... Whatever your pet is need of, they are sure to have...“
