“I met Katie shortly before I had knee surgery to repair tears on my meniscus. It had been about 6 months of regular pain, forcing me to refrain from running, working out, or even so much as doing a full body squat without pain and/or an unsettling click. Katie worked with me to identify the problems I was having and introduced me to a series of progressively more dynamic exercises to build up my mobility and strength to a level beyond where I was before my injury.Besides her mastery of physical therapy (and the fact that Katie is just an awesome person), these three things stood out to me the most:1: Katie uses a collaborative, educational approach to her work with her clients, and she is a fantastic instructor and coach. Moving my body in new ways was sometimes difficult, but her ability to articulate the exercises using auditory and visual cues was super helpful. Seeing something and hearing it in terms I understood made the process more enjoyable, and especially let me see why certain movements hurt, and how to improve upon them. Real-time cues while doing exercises also helped to hone in on the pieces I might be missing, and especially the pieces I was doing well. Both helped tremendously.2: Katie is extremely patient. Again, moving my body in new ways was sometimes difficult, which often left me spinning my wheels as I tried to get the movements right. Not once did she even remotely seem frustrated or impatient as I struggled. Instead, she showed enthusiasm for even the smallest improvements, and celebrated all of my little wins. It made learning and getting stronger a pleasant experience that motivated me each step of the way. Katie’s office is a safe place that fosters improvement in surprising ways.3: Katie is an empathic practitioner who understands your pain, and truly wants you to get better and be your best self. Knowing that she was on my side, seeing her celebrate my little wins, all of it. Katie made my pain feel understood from the first day, and inspired me to have confidence in both my progress and my potential once I was back in action.I highly recommend Katie for anyone who is ready to feel good in their body. “My son had been working with Tony for a number of months and encouraged me to try. But I had a back injury that I got when working with another trainer at a different gym, so I was very hesitant. I knew it would be good for me though. (I'm 58, have severe osteopenia, and my doctor said that building muscle would be good for my bones.) So I started slowly working with Tony and I'm so glad I did. 1) There's no distractions in the gym. No televisions, not lots of people to get distracted by. I love that. This is no nonsense. 2) While training, Tony has his eyes on you the whole time, every time. So I have faith that the second I veer into incorrect form, he's there to catch me. 3) His method of training is different than what I'd seen at previous gyms. I suspect it's different than anywhere else. Tony has a deep wealth of knowledge from his years as a trainer and his years as a professional athlete. The man knows how best to get results. Plus Tony's great to work with. He's kind, funny, and has a heart of pure gold. I highly, highly recommend working with him.“

Paul listened to my goals, developed a workout for me, and I’m seeing results which has positively impacted my everyday life more than I expected. I was carrying a heavy table the other day with no problem and sort of surprised myself because there’s no way I could have done that a few months ago. You can tell Peak Condition actually cares and they treat everyone with respect. The workouts vary to keep things interesting and I appreciate that they play a good mix of music. “I was only able to work with Khino for a short time, but he was still able to significantly increase the intensity and variety of my workouts, and I started to see and feel the results within a few months. I’ve had a lot of injuries in the past, and he was careful to work around problem areas and find solutions so I could still get full body workouts. “There really is no one that compares with Shelly! I trained with her for over a year until I moved, and not seeing her every week was honestly one of the worst parts of moving. She is so smart and thoughtful about what she does: explains why she's having you do certain exercises, takes the time to teach you and then push you to continuously get better, and thinks about fitness in a holistic way beyond solely working out. The most fitness progress I have ever seen is when I was training with Shelly and receiving advice from her on what to be doing outside of our weekly sessions as well. “I've been a member of Me Fitness for a few months. I joined because I was looking for a low-key and spacious gym with free weights and limited machines. This place has absolutely exceeded my expectations. For starters, the place has ample space set aside for people to stretch or do individual exercises on their own. Most gyms fill up space with machines or ridiculously heavy weights no one uses, but not Me Fitness. Can't applaud them enough for this wise choice. Beyond that, the gym has a nice balance of free weights, machines and cardio equipment. They also appear to have a roster of personal trainers who work with clients on a 1-1 basis, which I know many people would want. They also have fitness classes, including a great looking room for yoga. What's more, the gym is very clean, well-appointed with hand cleanser, the clientele tend to be low-key regular folks from the neighborhood, and the staff are friendly and helpful. This place is a five star rating in my book.“

“Best gym I have been to. They have everything I've ever wanted at a gym, minus a glute/ham raise machine. The staff are friendly, the patrons are clean and tidy, and it is a very female safe weight room - I see more women deadlifting and squatting than men, in fact. Great stairclimber machines, really well thought out equipment for functional weight training, and my favorite: no televisions or music (well, some music, but it is easy to ignore with earbuds).“
